Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of human resource management (HRM) procedures on employee performance in the digital era. Developments in information technology such as artificial intelligence, big data, and digital systems have driven a transformation in HRM practices, shifting from primarily administrative to more strategic and technology-based. This study used a quantitative approach with explanatory research methods to examine the relationship between HRM procedures as the independent variable and employee performance as the dependent variable. The results indicate that digital-based HRM procedures have a positive and significant impact on employee performance. This is evident in the increased effectiveness of digital recruitment, the quality of e-learning-based training, the objectivity of digital performance assessments, and the efficiency of internal communication through digital platforms. Furthermore, employee performance in the digital era is measured not only by work output but also by technological adaptability, collaboration, and work flexibility. These findings confirm that digitizing HRM procedures can improve employee productivity, efficiency, and work quality. However, the success of digitalization implementation is greatly influenced by organizational readiness, employee digital competence, leadership support, and an adaptive organizational culture. Therefore, organizations need to optimize the use of technology in every HRM process to sustainably improve employee performance in the digital era.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melihat bagaimana keseimbangan antara pekerjaan dan kehidupan serta beban kerja mempengaruhi hasil kerja karyawan dengan cara membaca dan menganalisis karya tulis yang sudah ada. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif kualitatif dengan menganalisis 28 artikel ilmiah nasional yang diperoleh dari Google Scholar, ScienceDirect, ResearchGate, serta berbagai jurnal terkait. Dalam penelitian ditunjukkan bahwa keseimbangan antara pekerjaan dan kehidupan memengaruhi positif prestasi karyawan karena bisa memperbaiki semangat bekerja, efisiensi kerja, serta rasa puas saat bekerja. Selain itu, jumlah tugas yang diberikan juga memengaruhi hasil kerja. Jika jumlah tugas seimbang, maka pekerjaan akan lebih efektif. Namun, jika beban kerja terlalu berat, hal ini bisa menyebabkan stres dan mengurangi kualitas hasil kerja. Secara bersama-sama, keseimbangan antara pekerjaan dan kehidupan serta beban kerja mempengaruhi hasil kerja karyawan di berbagai jenis organisasi.

Abstract

Discrimination based on university origin remains a phenomenon that influences the recruitmen process in Indonesia. Graduates from non-top-tier higher education institutions often face negative stigma, which limits their job opportunities despite possessing adequate competencies. This research aims to analyze the phenomenon of university origin stigma in the job recruitment process and identify the underlying factors. This study employs a qualitative approach using a literature review method, examining various secondary sources such as scientific journals, labor regulations, and relevant national news. The analysis is conducted to understand the patterns, causes, and impacts of institutional discrimination practices in workforce recruitment. The research findings indicate that university origin stigma is formed through social constructions influenced by the culture of educational hierarchy, perceptions of institutional reputation, and cognitive biases in the selection process by recruiters. This stigma implies inequalities in job access for graduates of non-top-tier higher education institutions and reinforces barriers to social mobility. This research contributes to enriching the study of discrimination in the labor market and emphasizes the importance of reforming the recruitment system to be more objective and competency-based, in order to create a fairer and more inclusive labor ecosystem.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of profitability and Firm Size on firm value at PT Sarana Menara Nusantara Tbk for the period 2019–2023. Profitability is proxied by Return on Assets (ROA), Firm Size is measured using the natural logarithm of total assets, and firm value is proxied by Price to Book Value (PBV). This research uses secondary data obtained from annual financial reports. The analytical method used is multiple linear regression analysis with classical assumption tests including normality, multicollinearity, heteroscedasticity, and autocorrelation. The results indicate that profitability has a positive and significant effect on firm value. Meanwhile, Firm Size has a positive but insignificant effect. Simultaneously, profitability and Firm Size significantly affect firm value with a coefficient of determination of 78.4%. These findings imply that improving profitability is more effective in increasing firm value compared to merely expanding company size.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of teamwork and the work environment on employee performance at PT. Nikos Distribution Indonesia, Depok Branch. The background of this research is based on findings of a decline in trust among employees and workplace noise, as well as suboptimal work quantity. This study uses a quantitative approach with an associative research design. The sample used was the entire population of 53 employees, using a saturated sampling technique. Data were collected through questionnaires and analyzed using simple and multiple linear regression, as well as t-tests and F-tests with SPSS version 27. The results show that the teamwork variable (X1) partially has a significant effect on employee performance (Y), with a t-count value of 8.583 > t-table 1.675 and a significance value of 0.001 < 0.05. Its contribution to employee performance is 59.1% (R² = 0.591). The work motivation variable (X2) also partially has a significant effect, with a t-count value of 13.211 > t-table 1.675 and a significance value of 0.001 < 0.05, and a contribution of 77.4% (R² = 0.774). Simultaneously, both variables X1 and X2 significantly influence employee performance, with an F-count value of 101.502 > F-table 3.183 and a significance value of 0.001 < 0.05. The simultaneous coefficient of determination is 80.2% (R² = 0.802), indicating that teamwork and the work environment together explain 80.2% of the variation in employee performance, while the remaining percentage is influenced by other factors. In conclusion, both teamwork and the work environment have a significant effect on employee performance, both partially and simultaneously. Therefore, improving trust among employees and paying attention to optimal workplace noise levels are very important in enhancing employee performance.

Abstract

This study aims to empirically examine the effect of liquidity, profitability, and solvency on the financial performance of PT Arwana Citramulia Tbk over a ten-year observation period from 2016 to 2025. This research adopts a quantitative method with an associative causal approach, aiming to analyze the relationship and causal effect among variables. The data used in this study are secondary data derived from the company’s annual financial statements. Liquidity is measured using the Current Ratio (CR), profitability is proxied by Return on Assets (ROA), solvency is measured using the Debt to Equity Ratio (DER), and financial performance is represented by Return on Equity (ROE). The analytical technique employed is multiple linear regression analysis, supported by classical assumption tests, t-test, F-test, and coefficient of determination (R²). The results of this study indicate that profitability has a positive and statistically significant effect on financial performance. Meanwhile, liquidity does not show a statistically significant effect, and solvency demonstrates a negative relationship with financial performance. Simultaneously, liquidity, profitability, and solvency collectively exert a significant influence on financial performance. These findings provide important implications for financial decision-making and investment evaluation.

Abstract

Investment decisions among university students have become increasingly important along with the rapid growth of digital investment platforms and investment-related information on social media. This study aims to examine the effect of financial literacy and social media on investment decisions through risk perception as a mediating variable among university students in Kediri City. This research used a quantitative explanatory approach. The sample consisted of 160 students who had investment experience in the capital market and were selected using purposive sampling. Data were collected through an online questionnaire using a five-point Likert scale. The data were analyzed using Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) with SmartPLS. The results show that financial literacy has a positive and significant effect on investment decisions. Social media also has a positive and significant effect on investment decisions. Financial literacy and social media have positive and significant effects on risk perception, while risk perception has a positive and significant effect on investment decisions. Furthermore, risk perception mediates the relationship between financial literacy and investment decisions, as well as the relationship between social media and investment decisions. These findings indicate that students’ investment decisions are shaped by cognitive ability, digital information exposure, and risk evaluation. The study implies that financial education and critical evaluation of social media investment content are essential for improving students’ investment decision quality.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the effect of sales growth and liquidity on earnings changes with financial performance as a mediating variable in manufacturing companies in the food and beverage subsector listed on the indonesia stock exchange (IDX) during the 2022–2024 period. The variables employed in this study include sales growth, liquidity proxied by the current ratio, financial performance proxied by return on assets, and earnings changes. This research adopts a quantitative approach using panel data regression analysis and mediation analysis through the sobel test. The analysis is conducted using two structural equations. The first structural equation employs the random effect model, while the second structural equation applies the common effect model, based on the results of model selection tests. The findings indicate that sales growth has a negative and significant effect on earnings changes. Liquidity, as measured by the current ratio, has a positive but insignificant effect on earnings changes. Similarly, financial performance, proxied by return on assets, has a positive but insignificant effect on earnings changes. Furthermore, financial performance is unable to mediate the effect of sales growth on earnings changes and is also unable to mediate the effect of liquidity on earnings changes.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the significance of: (1) Work discipline on employee performance, (2) Work motivation on employee performance, and (3) Organizational culture on employee performance at Amartha Mikro Fintech Sumbawa (West Nusa Tenggara). This study is an associative study with a quantitative approach using a census technique, with all 33 employees serving as respondents. Data collection techniques were conducted through questionnaires, interviews, and documentation. Data analysis used multiple linear regression with the help of IBM SPSS version 26. The results show that: (1) Work discipline has a positive and significant effect on employee performance, (2) Work motivation has a positive and significant effect on employee performance, and (3) Organizational culture has a positive and significant effect on employee performance. Simultaneously, all three variables significantly influence employee performance.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the condition and development of the Current Ratio (CR), Debt to Asset Ratio (DAR), and Return on Assets (ROA) at PT Tempo Scan Pacific Tbk during the period 2016–2025. The research method used is a quantitative descriptive method using secondary data in the form of the company's annual financial reports. Data collection techniques were carried out through documentation and literature studies. Data analysis was carried out by calculating financial ratios using the Current Ratio, Debt to Asset Ratio, and Return on Asset formulas, then analyzed descriptively through tables and interpretation of the company's financial ratio developments. The results of the study indicate that the company's Current Ratio is in very good and stable condition because it is always above the general liquidity standard. The Debt to Asset Ratio shows a downward trend in recent years, thus reflecting the company's healthy solvency condition with a relatively low debt level. Meanwhile, Return on Assets shows quite good development despite experiencing a decline in 2017–2018. The company was able to maintain a stable level of profitability until the end of the study period. Overall, the company's financial condition is considered healthy, stable, and able to manage assets and liabilities efficiently.
