Abstract

Student Motivation to Continue Education at IKIP Muhammadiyah Maumere Economic Education Study Program Class of 2022. Paper. Maumere: Faculty of Education of Social Sciences and Humanities Maumere Muhammadiyah Institute, 2023. This study aims to determine the motivation among students of the IKIP Muhammadiyah Maumere Economic Education Study Program Class of 2022 in continuing their education. The subjects of this research were 10 students from batch 2022 of the Economics Education Study Program, IKIP Muhammadiyah Maumere. This research use desciptive qualitative approach. The instruments used in this study were observation, interviews and documentation. The results of this study show that there are two motivations for students who continue their education at the IKIP Muhammadiyah Maumere campus for the economic education study program class of 2022, in general there are two, namely motivation that is in accordance with ideals (goal direction), and motivation that is not in accordance with ideals. Differences in the motivation of students who continue their education at the IKIP Muhammadiyah Maumere program for economic education studies class of 2022 such as no initial motivation, different orientation, or other needs apart from the initial motivation gave birth to four different levels of needs, namely self-actualization, appreciation, social needs, and feeling safe.

Abstract

So far, the problems often faced by UMKM are funding problems, and most of their needs are obtained through funding. The development of micro, small and medium enterprises must be reviewed and improved so that problems can be monitored and resolved in a timely manner. Micro, small, and medium enterprises have a strategic role in national economic development, in addition to their role in economic growth and employment. UMKM can be a priority or pillar of a populist economic system that reduces poverty and unemployment, besides that UMKM also plays a role in equitable distribution of development results. So far, the problem that UMKM often face is the problem of funding, and most of their needs are obtained through funding. The development of micro, small and medium enterprises must be reviewed and improved so that if problems arise, they can be monitored and resolved in a timely manner. The problem that is often faced is the situation of entrepreneurs who generally lack working capital loans. This research aims to determine and analyze the effect of UMKM growth on economic growth in Jambi province. The research method used is quantitative. The sample used was 33 data. The results showed that the growth of UMKM had a positive and significant effect on economic growth. In testing the classical assumptions of this study, it is normally distributed, not.

Abstract

Preventing fraud in managing village funds is important in implementing village governance. This research aims to analyze the influence of individual competence, accountability and morality on fraud prevention. The research was carried out by distributing questionnaires to village officials in Grogol District, Sukoharjo, which consists of 14 villages. The source of data obtained in this research is primary. The data collection technique in this research is through a questionnaire. The sampling method in this research was Saturated Sampling of 98 respondents. The results of this research are that Competence, Accountability and Individual Morality have a positive effect on preventing fraud in managing village funds. Abstract

Profitability is very important for the company for its survival. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of intellectual capital, third party funds, and non-performing loans on the profitability of banking sector companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange in 2018-2022. The implementation of this research uses a causality associative research design with secondary data types. The sampling technique used purposive sampling and obtained as many as 23 companies that meet the criteria that generate profits and have intellectual capital data from a total population of 55 companies with a research period of 115 years, so that 115 sample data were obtained. This study utilizes a multiple linear regression analysis model. The results showed that intellectual capital has a positive effect on profitability as measured using the value added intellectual coefficient (VAIC), third party funds have a positive effect on profitability by adding up demand deposits, savings and deposits. Then non-performing loans have a negative effect on profitability. Future researchers are expected to consider or add other variables that can affect profitability, such as sales growth, leverage, dividend policy, inflation rates and interest rates on different research objects. Factors from intellectual capital, third party funds, and non-performing loans can be used as the main reference for companies in an effort to increase their profitability.

Abstract

This study aims to determine and analyze the effect of capital market education, subjective norms and financial literacy on stock investment decisions for FEBI investors at UIN STS Jambi. The method used in this study is a quantitative method, and the data analysis method used is the coefficient of determination test. The sample in this study was 95 samples of FEBI UIN STS Jambi investors who were recorded in the Islamic investment gallery. The results showed that partially education on the capital market had no significant effect on stock investment decisions, subjective norms and financial literacy had a positive effect on stock investment decisions. Simultaneously it shows that the variables of capital market education, subjective norms and financial literacy have a significant effect on the investment decisions of FEBI investors at UIN STS Jambi. The results of the calculation of the coefficient of determination show that the variables of knowledge, risk and investment motivation, capital market education, subjective norms and financial literacy have an influence of 45.8% and the remaining 54.2% is influenced by other variables outside this study.

Abstract

Micro, small and medium enterprises are one of the most important parts of the Indonesian economy that are able to reduce poverty. The purpose of this study is to find out how the marketing strategy is applied to Edi Mushroom SMEs to increase sales volume and to find out what are the strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats to Edi Mushroom SMEs. The research method used is SWOT analysis. The results obtained in this study are the strategy implemented by UMKM Edi Mushrooms to increase sales volume covering 4P, namely in terms of products providing good quality and complete products, in terms of price providing relatively cheap prices, in terms of strategically selected locations and from in terms of promotion only through Whatsapp and word of mouth. The strengths of UMKM Edi Mushrooms are complete products, affordable prices, strategic locations and prioritizing product quality to maintain consumer loyalty. The weaknesses are the unstable weather, no special logo and less than optimal promotion. The opportunities are increasing population, increasing market needs and technological developments for promotion. The threat is competing with the same product and business locations that are next to competitors.

Abstract

. This study aims to determine the strategy for developing the Tempe Ummi business at the Angso Duo Market, Jambi City and to determine the strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats to the Tempe Ummi business at the Angso Duo Market, Jambi City. The research method used is SWOT analysis. The results obtained from this study are the business development strategy applied to Tempe Ummi which includes 4P, namely in terms of products that have been processed using modern machines. In terms of price, Tempe Ummi sells its products at stable and cheaper prices than competitors. Meanwhile, in terms of location, Tempe Ummi's business location is strategic because it is in the Angso Duo Market, Jambi City, which makes the opportunity to develop a business very large. In terms of promotion, Tempe Ummi only promotes its products by word of mouth. Tempe Ummi is also developing a business from its sales system, there are supporting products that Tempe Ummi takes on the market from market agents. The strengths of Tempe Ummi are products that are processed using modern machines, affordable prices, strategic locations, supporting products, and prioritizing product quality to maintain consumer loyalty. Meanwhile, the weakness is that there is no special logo and there is no promotion using print media or social media. Opportunities from Tempe Ummi are increasing population, increasing market needs, product diversification, and technological developments for promotion. While the threats that exist and need to be considered by Tempe Ummi are the many competitors in the market and price competition.

Abstract

Thesis entitled "The Influence of Green Accounting, Environmental Performance on Financial Performance in Mining Companies Registered at ISSI in 2019-2021". This is the result of a study that aims to determine the effect of Green Accounting, Financial Performance on Financial Performance in mining companies listed on the Indonesian Sharia Stock Index (ISSI) for 2019-2021. This research is a quantitative descriptive research. The data used is secondary data obtained from the annual reports of companies incorporated in the Indonesia Sharia Stock Index (ISSI) for 2019-2021. The sample of this study was obtained from purposive sampling technique, namely 13 companies with 3 years of research so that there were 39 observations. The data analysis technique used Multiple Regression Analysis. The results show that Green Accounting has no significant effect on the financial performance of mining companies listed on the Indonesian Sharia Stock Index (ISSI) for 2019-2021. Meanwhile, Environmental Performance has a significant effect on the Financial Performance of mining companies listed on the Indonesian Sharia Stock Index (ISSI) for 2019-2021. Green Accounting and environmental performance variables affect the financial performance of mining companies listed on the Indonesian Sharia Stock Index (ISSI) in 2019-2021.

Abstract

This research aims to determine and analyze the influence of capital and wage levels on production value and employment in the wood craft industry in East Jambi sub-district. This research uses a quantitative approach and the data analysis method used is multiple linear regression analysis. The sample used in this research was 79 wood craft business actors in East Jambi sub-district. The results of the t test for the variable influence of capital (X1) on production value (Y1) obtained a significant value of 0.000 < 0.05 and a value of tcount > ttable, namely 6.894 > 2.039. The results of the t test for the variable influence of capital (X2) on labor absorption (Y2) obtained a significant value of 0.000 < 0.05 and a tcount > ttable value of 7.294 > 2.039. The results of the t test for the wage level variable (X2) on production value (Y1) obtained a significant value of 0.000 < 0.05 and a tcount > ttable value of 6.498 > 2.039. The results of the t test for the wage level variable (X2) on the value of labor absorption (Y2) obtained a significant value of 0.000 < 0.05 and a tcount > ttable value of 6.863 > 2.039. Variables influence capital (X1) and wage level (X2) on production value (Y1). The sign value is 0.000 < 0.05 and the fcount>ftable value is 32.961 > 3.29, so Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted and the Adjusted R Square (coefficient of determination) value is 0.680 or 68%. The variable influence of capital (X1) and wage level (X2) on labor absorption (Y2). The sign value is 0.000 < 0.05 and the fcount>ftable value is 38.177 > 3.29, so Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted and the Adjusted R Square (coefficient of determination) value is 0.711 or 71.1%.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the factors that influence productivity in the home industry of money crackers in Kampung Laut village, Kuala Jambi district. In this research, researchers used quantitative methods, while the sampling technique determined by researchers used saturated samples. Data collection used observation, questionnaires and interviews. The sample taken in this research was 30 workers. The data analysis methods used are validity test, reliability test, classical assumption test, normality test, heteroscedasticity test, multicollinearity test, f test, t test, multiple regression test, and coefficient of determination (adjusted r2), contribution dominance test. The results of the research show that: (1) it was found that simultaneously there is a significant influence of the variables education, training, motivation and rewards on the productivity of the shrimp cracker business in Kampung Laut village. Meanwhile, education and training variables do not have a significant effect on the productivity of the shrimp cracker business in Kampung Laut village. (2) it was found that partially the direction of the influence of the education and reward variables had a positive effect (moving in the same direction) on the productivity of the shrimp cracker business in Kampung Laut village. Meanwhile, the education and training variables have a negative influence (in the opposite direction) on the productivity of the shrimp cracker business in Kampung Laut village. (3) motivation variables contribute more dominantly than education, training and rewards to the productivity of the shrimp cracker business in Kampung Laut village. This provides direct and indirect information that shrimp cracker business actors in Kampung Laut village must increase the productivity of their business in order to obtain profits that are in line with what they expect or can increase their income.
