Abstract

Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk melihat pengaruh penggunaan model discovery learning berbantuan media pembelajaran video terhadap keterampilan menulis teks eksplanasi pada Siswa Kelas VIII SMPN 4 Medan Tahun Ajaran 2022/2023. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah semua siswa kelas VIII SMPN 4 Medan dengan total siswa sebanyak 347, sedangkan sampel yang digunakan berjumlah 32 siswa, ditetapkan dengan teknik random sampling. Metode penelitian yang digunakan yaitu metode kuantitatif eksperimen. Instrumen pada penelitian ini terdiri observasi dan tes menulis teks eksplanasi yang dinilai berdasarkan struktur teks, kaidah kebahasan, dan mekanik pada teks eksplanasi. Nilai rata-rata yang diperoleh siswa sebelum diterapkan pembelajaran dengan model discovery learning berbantuan media pembelajaran video yaitu 63,54, sedangkan nilai rata-rata yang diperoleh siswa setelah menggunakan model discovery learning berbantuan media pembelajaran video yaitu 76,30. Maka, dapat disimpulkan nilai tes setelah diterapkan model discovery learning berbantuan media pembelajaran video lebih tinggi dari sebelumnya. Hasil analisis data pada pengujian hipotesis menunjukkan bahwa thitung = 5,77, kemudian melihat tabel t, taraf signifikansi 5%, dan df = N – 1 = 32 – 1 = 31, diperoleh ttabel = 1,69. Karena thitung diperoleh lebih besar dibandingkan dengan ttabel yaitu 5,77 > 1,69, maka hipotesis nihil (Ho) ditolak dan hipotesis alternatif H1 diterima.

Abstract

Penelitian dilatarbelakangi beberapa masalah, yaitu: 1) siswa belum mandiri dalam merencanakan karirnya, 2) siswa masih ragu terhadap karir yang dipilihnya, 3) siswa belum mengetahui syarat masuk ke perguruan tinggi, 4) siswa tidak dapat menentukan pekerjaan yang sesuai dengan bakat, minat dan kemampuan, sehingga masih banyak yang ingin berlatih untuk menyalurkan bakat yang mengarah ke karir yang tepat. Tujuan penelitian adalah untuk mengetahui adanya pengaruh layanan bimbingan kelompok metode biblio-counseling terhadap perencanaan karir siswa kelas XI di SMA Negeri 1 Weleri. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan desain quasi experimental design dengan model nonequivalent control group design. Populasi dalam penelitian adalah seluruh kelas XI IPA di SMA Negeri 1 Weleri berjumlah 108 siswa. Sampel penelitian adalah siswa kelas XI IPA 1 berjumlah 36 siswa. Teknik sampling menggunakan cluster random sampling. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan skala psikologis. Teknik analisis data menggunakan statistik deskriptif. Uji hipotesis menggunakan uji regresi linear sederhana. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh layanan bimbingan kelompok dengan metode biblio-counseling terhadap perencanaan karir siswa kelas XI IPA di SMA Negeri 1 Weleri dengan pengaruh sebesar 64%. Hasil perencanaan karir siswa kelompok eksperimen, diperoleh nilai rata-rata persentase sebesar 86% dalam kategori sangat baik. Hasil perencanaan karir siswa kelompok kontrol, diperoleh nilai rata-rata persentase sebesar 84% dalam kategori sangat baik. Hal ini berarti bahwa siswa memiliki pengetahuan dan pemahaman diri mengenai program studi dan dunia kerja dengan sangat baik. Siswa memiliki kepribadian dan nilai-nilai yang berkaitan dengan karir dengan sangat baik. Siswa mempunyai motivasi untuk mencari informasi tentang karir dengan sangat baik. Siswa mampu memilih pekerjaan sesuai dengan bakat, minat dan kemampuan dengan sangat baik. Siswa mampu memilih perguruan tinggi setelah sekolah dengan sangat baik. Siswa memiliki penalaran yang realistis akan hubungan pengetahuan dan pemahaman diri sendiri dengan pengetahuan dan pemahaman dunia kerja dengan sangat baik.

Abstract

Pentingnya pendidikan bagi anak di Lapak Sarmili dan memberikan fasilitas pendidikan, selain itu, Pendidikan masih merupakan investasi yang mahal. Peran orang tua dalam pendidikan anak mempunyai peranan terhadap masa depan anak. Sehingga demi mendapatkan pendidikan anak yang terbaik, maka sebagai orang tua harus berusaha untuk dapat menyekolahkan anak sampai ke jenjang pendidikan yang paling tinggi adalah salah satu cara agar anak mampu mandiri secara finansial nantinya. Maka dari itu Kelompok KKN 61 Mengambil program pengajaran membaca, menulis dan berhitung. Selain itu, Program baca tulis quran. Menurut Nawardi, pemulung adalah orang yang mencari, memungut, mengambil, mengumpulkan dan mencari sampah baik perorangan maupun kelompok yang kemudian dijual kepada pengepul. Pemulung bekerja mengumpulkan barang-barang bekas dengan cara mengerumuni muatan truk sampah yang tengah dibongkar, sebagian pemulung lainnya berputar-putar mengais barang bekas dari tumpukan- tumpukan sampah. Perekonomian pada warga Lapak sarmili di RT 005/02 secara produktif sehingga dapat menghasilkan nilai tambah yang tinggi dan pendapatan yang lebih besar. Pemberdayaan adalah upaya membangun kekuatan masyarakat dengan cara mendorong, memotivasi dan membangkitkan kesadaran akan potensi yang dimilikinya serta berusaha untuk mengembangkannya.

Abstract

Mount Rinjani has a crater about 10 km wide and there is a crater lake called Lake Segara Anak with a depth of about 230 m. The charm possessed by Mount Rinjani is perfect, so there is no doubt that Rinjani is an attraction that can attract the interest of foreign and domestic tourists to climb it. And climbing Mount Rinjani will certainly become memories and life experiences that will not be forgotten. The qualitative research method is a research method that produces descriptive data. The researcher aims to describe the phenomenon that occurs regarding Mount Rinjani Tourism Development in Lombok and its Impact on Tourist Interests. The natural phenomenon of Mount Rinjani which later became a tourist attraction was framed in the Rp. 10 denomination. 10.000 issued by Bank Indonesia in 1998. For climbers, Lake Segara Anak is a favorite location to unwind after steep valleys, savanna, entering the wilderness. Mount Rinjani National Park is the second highest volcano in Indonesia, not only that, Guning Rinjani National Park also has very beautiful natural beauty and there is a wealth of flora and fauna which is the intersection of the wallace boundary, namely the flora and fauna typical of Asia and Australia meet. By introducing the flora and fauna that exist on Mount Rinjani, starting from those that are often encountered. The conclusion of this article is that Mount Rinjani National Park is the second highest volcano in Indonesia, not only that Guning Rinjani National Park also has very beautiful natural beauty and there is a wealth of flora and fauna which is the intersection of Wallace's boundary lines, namely flora and fauna typical of Asia and Australia meet.

Abstract

The aim of the researchers to conduct this research is to find out about the history and origins of the Cibuntu Babakan area as a tofu industrial area until now a new destination titled "Cibuntu Babakan Tofu Tourism Village" has been established. It was formed because of an idea or notion from a member of the local POKDARWIS (Tourism Awareness Group) who is also the head of the community association 05 Babakan Village, Babakan Ciparay District. The theory used in this research is participation theory. While the method used in this study is descriptive qualitative method, due to the lack of valid data regarding this tourist destination, the researcher went directly to the field to explore the research object, thus making the research object a data. The results showed that the tourist destination "Cibuntu Babakan Tahu Tourism Village" has an attraction, namely with educational tours and culinary tours that may not be found in other areas, also with the local wisdom of the surrounding community making this "Cibuntu Babakan Tahu Tourism Village" become a tourist destination that must be included (Nurlestari, 2016)in the list of tourist trips.

Abstract

Problems are often associated with various problems, but the essence of problematics is to find the best solution with supporting things. Learning the history of literature itself is learning about the origins of or relating to the past about literature. Learning literature from time to time changes and adds to the level of study that is applied, giving rise to various problems in the context of its teaching of both formal and non - formal education. The problems themselves arise from various factors, the quality of learning literature in schools which may be caused by various things such as the curriculum, teachers, students, facilities and infrastructure, and perhaps also from the approach to learning literature itself, and the lack of deepening of the history of literature learning. Thus, to find a solution there is a literature study, including making the school a literary field, innovative learning with changes that are adjusted to the passage of time, as well as various learning approaches in the context of applying the teaching of literary history.

Abstract

In the era of globalization, various kinds of people from various parts of the world can be connected and interconnected in various aspects of life. The emergence of the Virtual Youtuber trend in Indonesia has influenced some people outside Indonesia to recognize and be interested in the Indonesian language. The purpose of this scientific article is to examine the rapidly growing Vtuber (Virtual Youtuber) phenomenon and find out the influence of many international Hololive Indonesia fans on their Indonesian language knowledge. The focus of this research is to discuss the development of the Virtual Youtuber industry, especially the impact of language exchange that occurs due to the establishment of an Indonesian branch by the largest company in the Virtual Youtuber industry, Hololive. This article uses the research methods of literature study and virtual observation. The results of the research show the interest and reasons of the audience and fans of Hololive ID talents to learn Indonesian.

Abstract

This study examines the theme of non-violence in interactions between adolescents. This study raises the perspective of Pope Francis' encyclical “Christus Vivit” as a Christian perspective in dealing with youth development issues. There are three research focuses, namely describing bullying among adolescents, the role of teachers in schools as controls to prevent bullying, and the role of the Church in Christian assistance in the problem of bullying in adolescents. Researchers use qualitative research methods. To obtain data, researchers used direct interview techniques and zoom meeting-based interviews. Data processing and analysis were carried out in a descriptive way. The research findings show that the psychological impact felt by victims due to bullying is feeling awkward when put together in group work and feeling lonely, afraid to come to school and also afraid to look at social media again. The psychological impact can be felt if you take things too seriously or take your feelings too seriously so that the victim will feel sad. But there are also victims who feel normal because they accept and resolve it in a family and peaceful manner. Students need to be reminded again of the rules that apply in schools, the goal is that all student behavior creates comfort and safety among students. It is better for teachers not only to teach about learning material but to provide character lessons for students on the sidelines of teaching material. The role of the Church should be more aggressive in inviting youth to be involved in church services to develop maturity in their faith so that there is determination not to commit acts of bullying.

Abstract

This research aims to investigate whether code-mixing poses a threat to the Indonesian language as the national identity and the efforts that can be done as a prevention of identity crisis. It is because society is beginning to forget its national language. The research method used is descriptive qualitative. The research data were obtained from the general public who mix languages in their daily communication. Data collection was conducted by distributing questionnaires to respondents through Google Forms. The data obtained will then go through several stages, including data tabulation, description, and analysis. From the results obtained from this study, approximately 68.3% of the respondents mix their local and foreign languages with the Indonesian language. This frequent code-mixing can pose a threat to national identity, as people tend to forget their language and feel proud when using foreign languages. However, it was also found that code-mixing positively impacts social and cultural aspects, as it can be used to communicate more effectively and as a means of learning new languages. Code-mixing can become a threat if the speaker consciously prefers to use a foreign language in a conversation.

Abstract

One of the most crucial language components that students should master is vocabulary. It is caused vocabulary is always used in everyday activities. Nevertheless, the students have difficulty when learning vocabulary and the lack of ability of students in remembering new vocabulary in English. Based on the problems, as a resulted to conduct teaching vocabulary mastery by the use of media namely word wall to help students improving their vocabulary mastery. This research was conducted to the seventh grade of SMPN 3 Kec. Pangkalan Koto Baru. In this study, researcher used quantitative method with quasi-experimental design by comparing two classes. The subject of this study was seventh grade, namely VII1 and VII2. VII1 was experimental class with 25 students and VII2 was control class with 25 students. The research instrument was vocabulary test. The data was analyzed by using Independent Sample t-test in SPSS 26. This study indicated that there was significant difference in achievement of students’ vocabulary mastery between the students who were taught by using word wall media and without using Word Wall media. It can be seen from p-value which was smaller than the alpha value (0.000<0.05). From the results of the data, teaching vocabulary mastery through word wall media gave more significant effect to increase students’ vocabulary mastery.
