Abstract

This research aims to determine the effect of Puzzle learning media on student learning outcomes in theme 1 subtheme 3 growth and development of living creatures in class III of HKBP Tomuan Pematangsiantar Private Elementary School.The type of research used in this research is experimental research. Research based on one group pretest-posttest design is research using experimental methods. The sample for this research was 21 class III students. The sampling technique in this research is Nonprobability Sampling. Data collection in this research used pretest and posttest. The pretest was carried out to determine students' initial abilities before carrying out the treatment and the posttest was carried out to determine student learning outcomes after treatment using Puzzle learning media. The test is in the form of objective test questions (multiple choice) having four choices, namely a, b, c, and d with a total of 20 questions.Based on the results of the N-Gain test, the maximum (ideal) score is the result of the initial and final trials with an N-Gain of 0.7>g>1 with the interpenetration "High and Medium". There were no students who showed improvement in the "Low" category, the overall results show that this intervention was successful in improving students' numeracy skills with no one showing a decline, reflecting the effectiveness of these efforts. From this explanation, the use of puzzle media is effective in improving student learningoutcomes.

Elementary School Teacher Education Study Program, Faculty of Teacher Training and Education, HKBP Nommensen Pematangsiantar University. Supervisor I Dr. Natalina Purba, S.Sos., M.Pd. and Supervisor II Pdt. Melvin M. Simanjuntak, S.Th., M.Si.This research is classified as experimental research with a quantitative approach by trying to describe the influence of inquiry learning on Civics learning outcomes for class III at SD Negeri 091254 Batu Onom. The subjects of this research were class III students at SD Negeri 091254 Batu Onom, totaling 23 students consisting of 13 boys and 10 girls in the even semester of the 2023/2024 academic year. During three meetings. Data collection on student learning outcomes was carried out using an initial test (Pretest) and final test (Posttest) after the inquiry learning method was carried out.From the results of data processing above, the Pretest Question scores obtained an average score of 53.26 while the post-test learning outcomes score was 89.22. It can be concluded that Inquiry Learning has an influence on PKN Class III learning outcomes at SD Negeri 091254 Batu Onom.

Abstract

This article discusses leadership of female ministers in Indonesia during the Jokowi administration, with a focus on roles and achievements them in various sectors. This report highlighting the importance of women in Indonesian politics, especially in context democratic transition in this country. This article also explore its challenges faced by women in positions leadership and strategies used by women to overcome obstacles the. This article uses qualitative research approach analyze the experiences and achievements of para female ministers in Indonesia at that time Jokowi government. This study utilize existing literature and data from various sources, including articles news and official records, to provide description of roles and influences women in government.

Abstract

Language can be used as a condition for humans to think, which is the initial source for humans to obtain the process of understanding and knowledge. With the influence of social media, it has quite a big impact on people's lives. There are many new languages created by the millennial generation and generation Z in social media and survival. Considering that social media users have a very high number, this has resulted in a lot of language changes. The aim of writing this research is to provide readers with deeper knowledge of the influence of social media on the use of Indonesian in national and state life. This is proof that there has been a change in the Indonesian language due to social media. Various new languages have emerged and the standard Indonesian language has been contaminated, which should be upheld as the unified language and national language of the Republic of Indonesia.

Abstract

This study outlines the problem of depression in adolescents as one of the major issues in public health, with far-reaching implications for their quality of life and well-being. The prevalence rate of depression increases during adolescence, with serious repercussions such as suicide risk, behavioral disorders, substance abuse, and academic and social problems. Cognitive Behavioral Psychotherapy (CBT) has been shown to be effective in treating adolescent depression by modifying maladaptive thought and behavior patterns. Group-based CBT therapy has also been shown to be beneficial in reducing depressive symptoms and preventing further development of subclinical depression. However, there are still challenges that need to be addressed, such as the low number of adolescents seeking or receiving mental care, the stigma associated with mental health problems, and the gap between scientific research and clinical practice. Increasing awareness of the importance of mental care, reducing stigma, and better integration between research and clinical practice can improve access and effectiveness of treatment. Therefore, the use of group-based CBT therapy in the treatment of adolescent depression has the potential to be an important step in improving adolescents' mental health and overall quality of life.

Abstract

This research aims to gain knowledge regarding the influence of teacher readiness in implementing the Merdeka curriculum and parental support on student learning outcomes in class VIII social science subjects at Taman Siswa Pematang Siantar Private Middle School.This type of research is quantitative research with a quantitative descriptive data analysis approach with the testing media used is SPSS 21. The population in this study was 76 people, and the sample used was 76 people. The sample collection technique used was a saturated sample. The data collection technique used was a questionnaire. The hypothesis data collection technique uses multiple regression analysis and the coefficient of determination (R2).The results of this research state that: 1) there is a positive influence of teacher readiness on student learning outcomes. This result can be seen in the t test where the t value of teacher readiness (3.270) > t table value (1.993). 2) there is a positive and significant influence of parental support on student learning outcomes. This result can be seen in the t test where the t value of parental support (2.942) > t table value (1.993) which means this variable is significant. 3) parents' income and social style jointly influence financial behavior. This result can be seen in the F test where the Fcount value (8.730) > Ftable value (3.12). The R Square coefficient of determination test was found to be 0.493, which means that 49.3% of the variables of teacher readiness and parental support had an influence on learning outcomes and 86% was the influence of other variables not examined in this research.

Abstract

The success of learning activities at school can be seen from the achievement of student learning outcomes. Student learning outcomes are influenced by several factors including teacher teaching skills and student learning discipline. This research aims to analyze and describe the influence of teachers' teaching skills and student learning discipline on student learning outcomes at SMP Negeri 1 Tanah Jawa.This research is descriptive quantitative research with research sampling using probability sampling techniques; simple random sampling. Hypothesis testing in this research uses multiple linear regression, partial test (t), simultaneous test (F), and coefficient of determination test (R2).The results of the research show that: (1) There is a negative and significant influence between the teacher teaching skills variable and the learning outcomes of class VIII students in social studies subjects at SMP Negeri 1 Tanah Jawa. This is proven in the results of hypothesis testing for the teacher teaching skills variable (X¬1 ¬) it is known that the tcount value is -3.815 < 1.981. (2) There is a significant influence between student learning discipline variables on the learning outcomes of Class VIII students in social studies at SMP Negeri 1 Tanah Jawa. It can be proven in hypothesis testing for the student learning discipline variable (X2) it is known that tcount is 3.046 > ttable value 1981, so it can be concluded that Ha1 is accepted and H0 is rejected. In particular, it is stated that there is an influence between the student learning discipline variables (X2) on student learning outcomes (Y). (3) There is a significant influence of teacher teaching skills and student learning discipline on the learning outcomes of class VIII students at SMP Negeri 1 Tanah Jawa with the results of hypothesis testing in the f-test obtained Fcount of 11,133 > Ftable of 3.08. So, based on the results of the calculations above, it can be concluded that Ha3 is accepted and H03 is rejected, so that the variables teacher teaching skills and student learning discipline together or simultaneously have a significant influence on student learning outcomes.Based on the research results, it was concluded that the teacher's teaching skills and student learning discipline had a significant effect on the learning outcomes of class VIII students at SMP Negeri 1 Tanah Jawa

Abstract

The problem in this study is that there has been a decrease in the number of Economics Education students in 2020-2023. This study aims to determine the effect of brand image and promotion on the decision of Economic Education students to choose to study at HKBP Nommensen University Pematangsiantar.This research was conducted at HKBP Nommensen University Pematangsiantar. This type of research uses descriptive quantitative research methods. Where this method aims to describe the research results and draw conclusions. The population in this study were all students of Economic Education Stambuk 2020-2023, totaling 300 economic education students with the Random Sampling Technique and calculated using the Slovin formula. Data analysis techniques are carried out in several stages, namely data reduction, data presentation and drawing conclusions. Data collection techniques are carried out by observation, questionnaires (questionnaires), and documentation.From the results of data analysis, it shows that the brand image variable has an influence on the decisions of Economic Education students. Where the tcount value of the brand image variable (X1) is 3.394> t table 1.993 and the significance value is 0,01< 0,05. So it can be concluded that Ha1 is accepted. Promotion variables influence the decisions of economic education students. Where the tcount value of the promotion variable (X2) is -3.213> t table -1.993 and the significance value is 0,02 < 0,05. So it can be concluded that Ha2 is accepted. For the results of the F test (simultaneous), the Fcount value is 12.186> Ftable 3.12. So it can be concluded simultaneously that the brand image and promotion variables affect the decision variable. From these results it can be seen that Ha3 is accepted.

Abstract

The problem in this research is the low social studies learning outcomes of students in the learning process. This research aims to determine the influence of learning motivation and learning facilities on student learning outcomes in social studies subjects for class VIII at Taman Siswa Pematangsiantar Adult Park (SMP).The variables in this research are learning motivation and learning facilities as independent variables and learning outcomes as the dependent variable. This type of research is quantitative research, with the research population being Class VIII students at Taman Siswa Pematangsiantar Adult School (SMP) consisting of 76 students using nonprobability sampling (saturated sample). The data collection technique uses instruments: (1) Learning Motivation questionnaire, (2) Learning Facilities questionnaire and, (3) Learning Results in the form of mid-semester exam scores.The results of this research show that: (1) There is a negative and significant influence between learning motivation variables on learning outcomes. This result can be seen in the t test where the tcount value of learning motivation shows tcount < ttable, namely -3.866 < 1.669. (2) There is a positive and significant influence between the learning facility variables on learning outcomes, this result is in the t test where the tcount value of learning facilities shows tcount > ttable, namely 3,622 > 1,699.(3) There is a significant influence of learning motivation and learning facilities on learning outcomes. This result can be seen in the F test where the F value is 13,668 > F table 3.12. So based on the calculation results above, it can be concluded that the research results reject the null hypothesis (H03) and accept the alternative hypothesis (Ha3). Thus, together learning motivation and learning facilities influence the learning outcomes of class VIII students in social studies subjects at Taman Siswa Pematangsiantar Adult Park (SMP) can be accepted.The R Square coefficient of determination test was found to be 0.272, equal to 27.2% of the learning motivation variables and learning facilities influencing student learning outcomes at Taman Siswa Pematangsiantar Adult Park (SMP) and the remaining 73% was the influence of other variables not examined in this research. Multiple regression = Y =78,548 – 0.230 x1 + 0.265 X2 + 791,538
