Abstract

This study investigates the impact of utilizing AI chatbot technology and recommendation systems on customer satisfaction and retention in a local marketplace in Bandung. A quantitative research design was employed, collecting data from 200 respondents using a structured questionnaire with a 5-point Likert scale. Data were analyzed using Structural Equation Modeling-Partial Least Squares (SEM-PLS 3) to evaluate the relationships between variables. The findings reveal that both AI chatbots and recommendation systems significantly enhance customer satisfaction, with recommendation systems having a stronger influence. Customer satisfaction mediates the relationship between these technologies and customer retention, highlighting its critical role in fostering loyalty. The study provides actionable insights for local marketplaces to leverage AI tools, adapt to customer needs, and gain a competitive advantage. Future research should explore additional factors influencing retention and examine AI adoption in diverse market contexts.

Abstract

This study aims to obtain an overview of the influence of revitalization in efforts to develop tourist villages in relation to the potential of the area in Kebon Ayu Village, Gerung District, West Lombok. The analysis technique used in this study is the SWOT analysis (Strengths, Weaknessess, Opportunities, and Threats) to systematically identify various factors in order to achieve the strategy. The results of the study indicate that Kebon Ayu Village has great tourism potential thanks to its rich culture, history, and natural beauty. To achieve optimal development of tourist villages, a comprehensive strategy is needed that includes increasing the capacity of human resources (HR), building cooperation networks, and utilizing natural and cultural potentials sustainably and building a unique identity as well as strengthening the branding of tourist villages.

Abstract

This study investigates the impact of Environmental Credit Innovation, Government Regulation, and Green Microfinance on the productivity of Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) in Yogyakarta, Indonesia. Using data from 140 MSMEs, the research employs Structural Equation Modeling with Partial Least Squares (SEM-PLS 3) to analyze the relationships between these factors. The results show that all three variables—Environmental Credit Innovation, Government Regulation, and Green Microfinance—positively influence MSME productivity. Specifically, Environmental Credit Innovation, Government Regulation, and Green Microfinance significantly contribute to improving MSME performance. The model explains 71.3% of the variance in MSME productivity, indicating substantial explanatory power. Additionally, the predictive relevance of the model highlights its practical utility for policy recommendations. The findings suggest that fostering environmentally responsible practices, simplifying regulatory processes, and expanding access to green finance are key drivers for boosting MSME productivity in the region.

Abstract

This study investigates the effects of Talent Management, Performance Incentives, and Recognition Programs on Employee Productivity within the retail industry in Central Java, Indonesia. Utilizing a quantitative research design, data were collected from 210 employees using a 5-point Likert scale and analyzed with Structural Equation Modeling (SEM-PLS 3). The results reveal that Recognition Programs had the most significant effect on Employee Productivity, followed by Performance Incentives, and Talent Management. These findings indicate that non-monetary rewards such as employee recognition programs play a pivotal role in motivating employees and enhancing their performance. The study highlights the importance of integrating recognition efforts with performance incentives and talent management strategies to achieve optimal productivity. Practical recommendations are provided for retail companies in Central Java to enhance employee motivation and organizational effectiveness.

Abstract

Financial literacy and financial inclusion are critical components of economic empowerment, particularly among the millennial generation, who are actively engaged with digital financial services. This study employs a bibliometric analysis using data exclusively from Scopus and analyzed with VOSviewer to map the intellectual structure, trends, and key research themes in financial literacy and inclusion. The findings reveal that financial literacy is a dominant theme, with strong interconnections to financial behavior, financial knowledge, investment decision-making, and digital finance. The role of social media and fintech innovations is increasingly shaping millennials' financial engagement, highlighting the need for digital financial literacy. Co-authorship analysis identifies three primary research clusters: (1) financial literacy and personal finance, (2) behavioral and methodological frameworks, and (3) technology acceptance in financial behavior. The study underscores the interdisciplinary nature of financial literacy research, incorporating insights from economics, behavioral psychology, and technology adoption models. Implications suggest the need for updated financial education programs integrating investment literacy and digital finance competencies. Future research should explore regional financial inclusion disparities, the role of digital platforms in financial education, and emerging fintech trends influencing millennials' financial behavior.

Abstract

Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) have become essential components of modern workplace strategies, with Human Resource Management (HRM) playing a critical role in fostering inclusive cultures. This study employs a bibliometric analysis of literature from the Scopus database to examine the evolving role of HR in DEI initiatives. Using VOSviewer, the research maps key themes, influential authors, and emerging trends in DEI-related HR studies. Findings indicate that organizational culture, job satisfaction, and employee engagement are central to DEI discussions, emphasizing the need for HR to embed inclusivity into workplace policies and practices. The study also reveals increasing research on psychological well-being, mental health, and intersectionality, highlighting a shift toward a more holistic and people-centered approach to DEI. Despite the progress, challenges remain in effectively implementing DEI strategies, particularly in measuring inclusion, addressing unconscious bias, and adapting global DEI frameworks. The study concludes that HR must adopt data-driven, context-aware, and intersectional approaches to foster sustainable and impactful DEI initiatives. Future research should explore the integration of AI and big data in DEI measurement, as well as the role of leadership in driving long-term inclusivity.

Abstract

Green labeling has emerged as a critical tool for promoting sustainable consumption by signaling a product’s environmental benefits. However, the effectiveness of green labels in enhancing consumer value perceptions remains a subject of debate due to issues such as greenwashing, label proliferation, and consumer skepticism. This study employs a bibliometric analysis using data exclusively from Scopus and analyzed through VOSviewer to systematically map the intellectual structure of research on green labeling and consumer value perceptions. The findings reveal that key research themes include sustainability, green marketing, consumer behavior, purchase intention, and willingness to pay, with a noticeable shift towards consumer-driven sustainability trends in recent years. Co-authorship network analysis indicates that research is dominated by two major clusters—Western scholars focusing on behavioral models and Asian researchers emphasizing corporate sustainability and trust in eco-labels. While green labels positively influence perceived consumer value, their effectiveness is contingent on factors such as label credibility, standardization, and consumer education. Challenges such as eco-label confusion, cost barriers, and inconsistent regulatory enforcement remain pressing concerns. The study highlights the need for standardized regulations, technological integration (e.g., blockchain for label verification), and cross-cultural studies to improve green labeling’s impact. The insights from this research provide a comprehensive understanding of the evolution of green labeling literature, offering practical implications for businesses, policymakers, and researchers seeking to enhance consumer trust in sustainable products.

Abstract

The transportation sector plays a critical role in economic development and societal mobility but is also a significant contributor to greenhouse gas emissions and environmental degradation. As global efforts to mitigate climate change intensify, green policies have emerged as essential mechanisms for transforming transportation systems toward sustainability. This study conducts a bibliometric analysis using VOSviewer, based on Scopus-indexed publications, to explore the evolution of research on transportation sector transformation through green policies. The findings reveal key thematic trends, including an early emphasis on emissions reduction and climate change, followed by a growing focus on renewable energy integration, electric vehicles, hydrogen fuels, and policy interventions. Co-authorship network analysis highlights fragmentation in global research collaborations, with dominant contributions from China, the United States, and Europe, but limited representation from developing economies. The results suggest that policy frameworks, technological innovations, and economic incentives play a vital role in shaping the transition to sustainable transportation. However, greater interdisciplinary collaboration and research inclusivity are needed to develop globally adaptable strategies. This study provides valuable insights for policymakers, researchers, and industry stakeholders seeking to enhance the sustainability of transportation systems through evidence-based policy and technological innovation.

Abstract

This study investigates the impact of Environmentally Friendly Packaging (EFP) and Product Labeling (PLA) on Purchasing Decisions (PDE) and Business Sustainability (BSU) in Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) in Bogor, Indonesia. Using a quantitative approach, data were collected from 170 MSME owners and analyzed using Structural Equation Modeling - Partial Least Squares (SEM-PLS). The results show that EFP and PLA have significant positive effects on PDE and BSU. Specifically, EFP influences Purchasing Decisions (β = 0.358, p < 0.001) and Business Sustainability (β = 0.240, p = 0.003), while PLA strongly affects both Purchasing Decisions (β = 0.530, p < 0.001) and Business Sustainability (β = 0.487, p < 0.001). These findings suggest that MSMEs can improve their competitiveness and long-term viability by adopting eco-friendly packaging and emphasizing sustainable labeling practices. The study contributes to the understanding of sustainable business practices in the context of MSMEs and provides valuable insights for entrepreneurs aiming to enhance their market position and ensure sustainability.

Abstract

This study investigates the role of Sharia microfinance in reducing poverty and improving community welfare in Indonesia, using a quantitative approach. A total of 70 respondents, primarily micro-entrepreneurs and low-income individuals, were surveyed using a 1-5 Likert scale questionnaire. Data analysis was conducted using SPSS version 25. The results indicate that access to Sharia microfinance services significantly contributes to financial stability, vincome generation, and overall community welfare. Specifically, Sharia microfinance was found to improve financial security, enhance income opportunities, and promote social empowerment. These findings highlight the potential of Sharia microfinance as a tool for poverty alleviation and sustainable development. This research provides important insights for policymakers and microfinance institutions to enhance the effectiveness of Sharia-based financial services in promoting economic and social well-being.
