Abstract

The integration of artificial intelligence (AI) into mobile applications has transformed public service delivery by enhancing efficiency, accessibility, and responsiveness. This study employs a bibliometric approach to analyze the evolution of AI applications in public service, focusing on research trends, key contributors, and thematic developments from 2000 to 2024. The findings reveal a rapid increase in research output since 2018, driven by advancements in enabling technologies such as IoT, 5G, and machine learning, as well as global challenges like the COVID-19 pandemic. Key application areas identified include healthcare, smart cities, and governance, with AI-powered mobile apps demonstrating significant potential in addressing societal needs. However, challenges related to data privacy, algorithmic bias, and technical infrastructure persist. This study underscores the importance of ethical frameworks, interdisciplinary collaboration, and localized solutions to maximize the impact of AI in public service delivery. The findings offer valuable insights for researchers, practitioners, and policymakers seeking to leverage AI for smarter and more equitable public services.

Abstract

The growing influence of environmentally conscious generations, particularly Generation Z, has become a pivotal area of research in the context of global sustainability. This study employs bibliometric analysis to systematically map the academic landscape surrounding this field, analyzing keywords, thematic clusters, and temporal trends from scholarly literature published between 2000 and 2023. The findings reveal that sustainability and environmental education are central themes, with strong connections to innovative approaches such as game-based learning and digital advocacy. Generation Z emerges as a key driver of environmental consciousness, leveraging digital platforms to amplify awareness and action. However, the analysis also identifies gaps, including the limited integration of technical solutions, such as renewable energy technologies, with behavioral and educational themes, and a lack of intersectional approaches to examining cultural and socioeconomic influences. This study underscores the need for interdisciplinary collaboration to advance the discourse on environmentally conscious generations and offers a roadmap for future research and practical applications in education, policy, and resource management.

Abstract

This study presents a bibliometric analysis of green investment research, examining its trends, thematic focus, and developments from 2000 to 2024 using data from Scopus and Web of Science. The analysis reveals that foundational topics such as energy production, cost management, and process efficiency dominate the field, while recent research emphasizes green finance, technological innovation, and regional development. Key drivers include regulatory frameworks, technological advancements, and evolving financial mechanisms, while barriers such as regional disparities, limited sectoral representation, and inconsistent sustainability metrics persist. Emerging themes like digital technologies, R&D investment, and supply chain sustainability highlight opportunities for future research and innovation. The findings emphasize the need for interdisciplinary approaches and policy interventions to address gaps and scale green investments globally. This study provides actionable insights for researchers, policymakers, and practitioners, contributing to the discourse on sustainability and the strategic role of green investment in achieving global environmental goals.

Abstract

The growing prevalence of social media has sparked significant academic interest in understanding its impact on mental health. This bibliometric study explores the relationship between social media use and mental health within various socio-cultural contexts, highlighting prevailing themes, trends, and gaps in the literature. Using data from major academic databases, the study identified key research areas, including the association between social media and mental health issues such as depression, anxiety, and addiction, as well as the role of interventions in mitigating these impacts. The findings reveal a strong focus on the negative effects of social media, particularly among adolescents and university students, and emphasize the importance of cultural factors in shaping these outcomes. While interventions and policy recommendations are increasingly being explored, gaps remain in understanding long-term effects, culturally diverse contexts, and potential positive outcomes of social media use. This study underscores the need for continued, multidisciplinary research to inform culturally sensitive practices and policies that address the complexities of social media's impact on mental health.

Abstract

Drug addiction poses a significant challenge to public health, social stability, and legal systems worldwide. This study examines Indonesia’s legal framework for drug rehabilitation through a juridical analysis and compares it with international best practices, focusing on Portugal and Switzerland. Findings reveal that while Indonesia’s Law No. 35 of 2009 on Narcotics incorporates rehabilitation, implementation gaps, inconsistent legal applications, and societal stigma hinder its effectiveness. Comparative analysis highlights the success of health-centered approaches and community-based programs in other countries. This paper underscores the importance of legal reforms, socio-cultural adaptability, and social engineering in enhancing drug rehabilitation policies in Indonesia. Recommendations include clearer legal guidelines, enhanced rehabilitation infrastructure, and public awareness initiatives to foster systemic change.

Abstract

This study examines the role of social engineering in shaping legal frameworks to enhance the rehabilitation of drug addicts in Indonesia, focusing on community-based interventions. Using a juridical analysis of legislation and case studies, the research identifies gaps in the current legal framework, including its punitive focus, insufficient support for rehabilitation programs, and lack of community involvement. The findings underscore the potential of social engineering principles to address these shortcomings by designing laws that prioritize rehabilitation, promote community participation, and reduce stigma. Drawing from international best practices, the study provides actionable recommendations to reform Indonesia's narcotics laws, fostering a balanced approach that integrates rehabilitative justice with community-driven solutions. This research contributes to the discourse on drug policy reform, advocating for a more compassionate and effective system that aligns with global standards.

Abstract

This study examines the intersection of social engineering and rehabilitation law in Indonesia, focusing on the effectiveness of legislative reforms addressing drug addiction. By employing a juridical analysis of legislation, the research evaluates the alignment of Indonesia’s Narcotics Law with social engineering principles aimed at shifting societal perceptions of addiction from punitive to rehabilitative. Findings reveal significant challenges, including limited institutional capacity, societal stigma, and inconsistencies in law enforcement, which undermine the intended outcomes of rehabilitation laws. Comparative insights from global best practices underscore the need for integrated and well-resourced strategies to enhance the effectiveness of rehabilitation-focused legal frameworks. Recommendations are proposed to address these challenges through legislative revisions, institutional strengthening, and public awareness campaigns.

Abstract

This study explores the interplay between digitalization and cultural identity with a focus on local traditions in the digital era, using a bibliometric approach. By analyzing academic publications from key databases, the research identifies trends, thematic clusters, and emerging areas of interest in this interdisciplinary field. Results indicate that "digitalization" and "digital transformation" serve as central themes, connecting topics such as cultural heritage, social media, and industry 4.0. The study reveals an evolving research focus, transitioning from foundational efforts in cultural preservation to contemporary issues like digital leadership, innovation, and sustainability. Network analyses highlight significant global collaborations, with dominant contributions from countries like the United States, China, and the United Kingdom. However, disparities in representation suggest a need for more inclusive research that incorporates perspectives from underrepresented regions. Emerging technologies such as AI and VR offer promising directions for future exploration, while the tension between globalization and localization underscores the importance of balancing cultural authenticity with modern adaptations. This study provides a comprehensive overview of the research landscape and offers practical implications for policymakers, cultural practitioners, and technologists in fostering sustainable cultural preservation in the digital era.

Abstract

Green finance and sustainable investment strategies have gained significant attention as key mechanisms to address global environmental challenges and drive sustainable development. This study employs bibliometric analysis to explore the thematic, geographical, and temporal trends in research on green finance and sustainable investments, using data from the Scopus database. The findings reveal that central themes, such as "sustainability," "green economy," and "investments," dominate scholarly discourse, with growing emphasis on emerging topics like "green technology innovation" and "decentralized finance." China, the United Kingdom, and European nations are identified as leading contributors to research in this field, with notable collaborations across regions. However, disparities in regional representation and challenges such as inconsistent ESG frameworks and perceived financial risks hinder the adoption of green finance globally. The study highlights opportunities for harmonizing global standards, leveraging technological innovations, and expanding research in underrepresented regions. These insights provide valuable guidance for policymakers, financial institutions, and researchers aiming to enhance the effectiveness of green finance and sustainable investments.

Abstract

Managing generational diversity in the workplace has become a critical focus for organizations as they navigate the challenges and opportunities presented by multigenerational teams. This study employs a bibliometric analysis to explore the trends, key themes, and global collaboration patterns in generational diversity research from 2000 to 2024. Using data from Scopus, the study identifies influential topics such as diversity, inclusion, leadership, and communication, which are central to managing generational dynamics. Leadership was found to be a pivotal factor in bridging generational divides, while communication gaps and generational stereotypes remain persistent challenges. The analysis also highlights the dual role of technology as both a barrier and a tool for fostering intergenerational collaboration. Despite significant contributions from developed countries, there is notable underrepresentation from developing regions, emphasizing the need for more inclusive research efforts. Emerging topics, including mental health and intersectionality, suggest avenues for future exploration. This study contributes valuable insights for researchers, practitioners, and policymakers aiming to create inclusive, adaptive, and effective multigenerational workplaces.
