Abstract

Real Work Lecture (KKN) is a form of community service activity by students with a cross-scientific and sectoral approach at a certain time and area. The implementation of KKN activities usually lasts between one to two months and takes place in village-level areas. The Directorate General of Higher Education in Indonesia has requires every university to carry out KKN as an intracurricular activity that combines the tri dharma of higher education, namely: education, research, and community service. The approach method used in community service is social intervention, where social intervention is an effort to plan changes to individuals, groups, and communities with the principles of kinship and independence. The main purpose of social intervention is to improve social functions (individuals, groups, communities) which are the target of change, when a person's social functions function well, it is assumed that welfare conditions will be more easily achieved. The most important stage in the intervention is data collection, which is the stage where the social worker collects the information needed regarding the problem to be solved. This can help the community in implementing development in various fields, especially education, health, religion, and social affairs. This KKN student carried out activities at the Al-Muslimun Mosque, Buakana Village, Rappocini District, Makassar City. The residents of Bontolempangan Village generally welcome the arrival of students to bring about change through community empowerment in improving the quality of education, health, religion and social life.

Abstract

Implementation of religious development and local wisdom values ​​through community empowerment in Pujananting District. The purpose of this service is to provide assistance, empower the community in the implementation of religious development and the values ​​of local wisdom in Pujananting District. This community service was carried out for six weeks. The service team carried out the preparation of activities in the form of initial actions, namely preparing a community empowerment plan in the implementation of religious values ​​for six days by means of FGD (Focus Grouf Discussion). This community service activity has been successfully implemented and has received a very good response from the community. This is based on the fact that 73.3% of the 30 people sampled gave the opinion that community empowerment activities had an influence on the mastery of the religious field. Meanwhile, only 8 people or 26.7% stated that community empowerment had no effect on increasing religious knowledge obtained through community empowerment.

Abstract

The implementation of community service is a routine agenda in the Tri Dharma of Higher Education which is carried out by UIN Alauddin Makassar lecturers to the community. The implementation involves all lecturers from various faculties and departments with the assumption that the implementation of this community service in carrying out its work programs is carried out with a multi-disciplinary approach, so that community service work programs can be carried out in various approaches according to the disciplines of the lecturers who are placed at the service location.This service was carried out in Bola Village, Bola District, Wajo Regency. This service is carried out in the fields of education, health and social development. The method applied is a method of cooperation, mutual cooperation and building network relationships with village residents in Bola Village which was compiled and planned by the team through planned programs. The position of the service team is as a driving force in the midst of society that functions as academics and the community acts as practitioners of community service activities programs in responding to the problematic challenges of community life in Bola Village, Bola District, Wajo Regency.

Abstract

Artikel ini mengulas pelaksanaan program pelayanan dan pemberdayaan masyarakat yang dilaksanakan secara kolaboratif antara Badan Pengelola KKN, Mahasiswa KKN serta masyarakat. Kegiatan Kuliah Kerja Nyata (KKN) sejatinya merupakan bentuk kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat oleh mahasiswa dengan pendekatan lintas keilmuan dan sektoral pada waktu dan daerah tertentu. Tujuan besar yang didapatkan dari program Kuliah Kerja Nyata adalah untuk mengoptimalkan pencapaian maksud dan tujuan tridharma perguruan tinggi. Dalam pelaksanaan program pengabdian di lokasi KKN, pendekatan ke masyarakat dilakukan dengan menggunakan metode intervensi social. Berdasarkan hasil observasi di lapangan, maka ditentukan program kerja KKN yang akan dilaksanakan guna meningkatkan sumber daya dan pembangunan di Kelurahan Galung. Adapun program tersebut diantaranya, pembinaan dan pengajaran TK/TPA, Pembinaan dan pengajaran SD, gotong royong setiap hari Jum’at, senam, Isra’ Mi’raj, pembersihan makam dan festival anak sholeh. Dilihat dari program-program tersebut maka mahasiswa KKN berperan sebagai fasilitator, dinamisator dan motivator. Dengan demikian, setelah kegiatan KKN berakhir diharapkan para warga se- kelurahan Galung dapat terus mengembangkan segala potensi yang ada pada dirinya dan alam sekitarnya. Maka diharapkan setiap kegiatan yang telah berlangsung secara kontinyu tetap dipertahankan untuk keberlangsungan pembangunan di Kelurahan Galung

Abstract

Indonesia as a State of Law (Rechtsstaat) Not States of Power (machstaat). This statement indicates that all actions must be based on law. Community legal awareness as an embodiment of the legal culture of the community must continue to be instilled so that community compliance with the law can continue to be improved. As is known, the law is the highest rule that must be implemented by the community in carrying out social interactions, and by the authorities in carrying out state and social life, because the concepts, ideas and social ideals inherent in the law are emanations of the value system. who live in the heart of the community concerned.

Abstract

Starting from the intention of fellow students to share with others, the social service activity "Mass Circumcision" was held. This activity, which takes the form of a mass circumcision, is aimed at orphaned and underprivileged children. From a religious perspective, circumcision is mandatory and also from a medical perspective, it has many benefits, including maintaining physical cleanliness and reducing the risk of contracting disease. This activity is also a form of concern for underprivileged children in the Tamalatea Village area, Manuju District, Gowa Regency. The method used uses social intervention methods in approaching community members as a method for overcoming social and human resource (HR) problems in Tamalatea Village. How happy we are to be able to share with others, friendship between people can always be established and the final hope is that from this small concern, Allah Almighty will forever give a double reward and become an addition to the scale of our charity later.

Abstract

The purpose of this activity is as an effort to increase community skills through socialization activities and training in making liquid organic fertilizer from cow manure. The time and place for it to be held is Monday, October 31 2022, 14.00-16.00 WITA and is held in the Parangluara village office hall. Socialization and training is a series of continuous activities, where socialization is a process of interaction and learning carried out by someone in a cultural society. While training is an activity to train or develop a skill and knowledge for oneself or others, which is related to certain competencies that are useful. Organic fertilizers are fertilizers composed of living matter, such as weathering of plant, animal and human remains. Cow manure is waste produced by cows. Cow manure consists of cow feces, broom urine, and leftover feed containing high nitrogen. Cow dung is one of the many alternative materials that are easy to find around us, especially in rural areas. Abstract

In Islamic teachings there are several main things that are required to be carried out as soon as possible, namely paying debts, marrying off girls if they meet the requirements and have asked to be married, and finally organizing a funeral for fellow Muslims. The importance of this training is to educate the public regarding the procedures for caring for corpses, because in this modern era these kinds of religious activities have begun to be abandoned. The purpose of conducting this research is to find out the procedure for organizing corpses, as well as it is hoped that this research can later become additional knowledge for the wider community and become an additional reference for further research. The research method used in this research is field or qualitative research using a descriptive analysis approach. In this study it can be concluded that in general the people in Tanakaraeng Village still do not understand or do not understand the procedures for organizing corpses. In general, what has happened in the Tanakaraeng Village community so far is that only certain people who act as caretakers have been appointed as caretakers. Abstract

With increasing age, physiological function decreases due to the aging process so many non-communicable diseases appear in the elderly. Health is a state of physical, mental, spiritual and social well-being that enables everyone to live a socially and economically productive life. Aging occurs as a result of biochemical changes programmed by DNA molecules and every cell will in time undergo mutations. Aging is a period of change experienced by individuals both physically and psychologically due to decreased body function. This will affect various aspects of life in old age. So that it requires maintenance that is different from the age of children, adolescents, and adults who need support from those around them. This free treatment was carried out in Inruiya Hamlet, Mare-Mare Village, Bontomanai District, Kep Selayar Regency. Treatment is carried out in the form of measuring blood pressure, checking cholesterol, checking uric acid, checking blood sugar, measuring weight and height. Besides that, it was also conveyed how to live a healthy lifestyle in the elderly. This counseling activity lasted for 180 minutes and was carried out in one of the hamlets in Mare-Mare Village, Bontomanai District, Kep Selayar Regency. The purpose of this activity is to check public health, especially the elderly. Counseling in the form of percentages, conducting health checks such as measuring blood pressure, checking blood sugar, checking cholesterol and checking uric acid. The result of this counseling activity is that the elderly are aware of the importance of carrying out health checks, especially measuring blood pressure, checking blood sugar, checking cholesterol and checking uric acid. From the results of the activity, it was found that before carrying out counseling, some elderly people wanted to have their health checked, but due to the distance from the village to the service facility, the elderly only took medicine at the shop to relieve pain. The counseling activities carried out went well, this activity was carried out in the hamlet of Inruiya, one of the hamlets in Mare-Mare Village, which is in the working area of ​​the Polebunging Health Center. It is hoped that the community, especially the elderly, will already know the benefits of carrying out health checks and will make visits and health checks the following month in other hamlets in Mare-Mare Village, Bontomanai District, Kep Selayar Regency.

Abstract

Kuliah Kerja Nyata sesungguhnya adalah kuliah yang dilakukan dari ruang kampus ke ruang masyarakat. Ruang yang sangat luas dan heterogen dalam menguji teori-teori keilmuan yang telah didapatkan di bangku kuliah. Masyarakat adalah guru kehidupan yang ditemukannya di lokasi Kuliah Kerja Nyata (KKN). Pelaksanaan KKN berlangsung selama 45 hari dan bertempat di daerah setingkat kelurahan/desa. Sindrom metabolik merupakan suatu kelainan metabolik yang secara kompleks meliputi melainan metabolism karbohidrat, lipid dan protein yang diketahui menjadi penyebab utama penyakit diabetes melitus, hipertensi serta penyakit jantung koroner. Desa Topejawa Kecamatan Mangarabombang merupakan salah satu desa yang menjadi sasaran dari kegiatan penyuluhan dan pemeriksaan Kesehatan sindrom metabolic. Tujuan kegiatan ini adalah untuk memberikan edukasi kepada masyarakat tentang sindrom metabolik dengan metode ceramah dilanjutkan dengan pemeriksaan untuk mendeteksi adanya sindrom metabolik yaitu pengukuran tekanan darah, pemeriksaan kadar glukosa darah dan pemeriksaan kadar trigliserida dengan metode Point of Care Testing . Hasil dari kegiatan ini adalah terdapat 29 dari 50 peserta (58%) yang mengalami sindrom 2metabolik dengan rerata tekanan darah 135/100 mmHg, rerata kadar glukosa darah puasa sebesar 152 mg/dL, dan rerata kadar trigliserida sebesar 198 mg/dL. Diharapkan adanya perhatian secara serius oleh tenaga kesehatan setempat maupun pihak-pihak terkait untuk terus melakukan edukasi dan upaya preventif demi pencegahan komplikasi sindrom metabolik.
