Abstract

This study aims to explore the tourism potential in Negeri Amahusu. Even though it has abundant potential, there is one natural tourist attraction in the form of beach tourism, which has not yet been used as a destination. Several historical/cultural tourist attractions are also currently it has not been used as tourist destinations. Even the local government lack of role sees these tourist attractions and related to the community has minimal awareness of the development of these tourist destinations. Based on the explanations that have been presented, the authors conducted research with the formulation of the problem, namely; 1) What are the potentials in Negeri Amahusu in terms of natural tourism potential in the form of beach tourism, cultural tourism, culinary tourism, historical tourism or religious tourism, to develop community-based tourism destinations, 2) What are the efforts or strategies made by the government and community in the development of community-based tourism destinations. This research was conducted using qualitative research methods, using data collection techniques in the form of interviews with several informants from both the Negeri Amahusu and the Ambon City, in this case, the Ambon City Tourism and Culture Office and the local community. The study results show that there are natural tourist attractions in the form of beach tourism and historical tourist attractions which until now have not been used as tourist destinations until now. There is a lack of attention from the local government regarding this matter and the lack of public understanding related to the existing tourism potential in developing this tourism.

Abstract

This research discusses the trend of thrifting, which is much loved by the surrounding community and, more specifically, by teenagers and students when viewed from an urban tourism perspective. This research is in the Mardika Area, Rijali Village, Sirimau District, Ambon City. At this time, thrifting has become one of the places visited by the people of the city of Ambon. People prefer to buy thrifting products because the prices are affordable, and they can get good products. This study used a qualitative research method, with data collection techniques in the form of interviews conducted with several informants, both thrifting buyers and enthusiasts and also thrifting product sellers in the Mardika area. The results of this study indicate that the community needs the development of thrifting buildings and environmental cleanliness. Therefore, thrifting development is carried out using 4A, namely, attraction, accessibility, amenities, and ancillary, as well as a development strategy based on SWOT.

Abstract

Need analysis played a vital role in an ESP course design since it became an instrument employed to collect information about the students’ wants, needs, and lacks in their English learning This study was aimed at investigating the language needs of Tourism Department Students. Collecting the data, a questionnaire was administered to 40 Tourism Department students of Institut Teknologi dan Bisnis Kristen Bukit Pengharapan. The Need Analysis revealed that the students’ main objective in learning English was to facilitate them to pursue a professional career in the hospitality and tourism industry. Therefore, they had a deep concern about developing their speaking skills. Although the other language skills were considered important, their development should be in line with their professional career development. It was expected that the result of the Need Analysis could be exposed in the development of English course materials for tourism department students.

Abstract

A start-up is a start-up or start-up that is being developed. Bagomez is a culinary start-up founded by students of the Bukit Pengharapan Tawangmangu Christian Institute of Technology and Business study program that produces and sells fried meatballs with chicken meat raw materials. Bagomez as a start-up business is still experiencing stagnansi and has not produced optimal performance. It aims to find the right business strategy for Bagomez's start-up business. The method carried out is to use a business model canvas approach through interviews and FGDs (focus group discussions) conducted with sister companies. The results showed that the components contained in BMC were used as Bagomez's business strategy as a start-up, which were interrelated, especially in the value proposition, customer segment, revenue stream, channel, and key activities components.

Abstract

Promotion of Maluku Tourism Through the Miss Tourism Selection Event is carried out because this event shows activities aimed at promoting tourism. However, after the selection of miss tourism, it can be seen from the contribution of the duties and responsibilities of a tourism princess that it is still ineffective in promoting tourism. Based on this, the authors conducted research to formulate the problem; (1). How to promote Maluku tourism through the Miss Tourism Maluku selection event; (2). How was the performance of Miss Tourism after participating in the Miss Maluku Tourism and Miss National Tourism selection events? This study used a qualitative method, with data collection techniques in the form of interviews conducted with several informants from both tourism women and government elements, in this case, the Maluku Provincial Tourism Office. The results of the study show that there are still many programs from the daughters of tourism that cannot be carried out in the field effectively because they are hindered by several obstacles, for example, lack of funds, lack of coordination, and not yet facilitated by the government. Therefore the author provides a solution that utilizes this event as a forum for promoting Maluku tourism. The author suggests collaborating on Penta helix tourism with elements consisting of government, academia, business, community, and media.

Abstract

Similar to other territories across the globe, the tourism industry in Gunungkidul has also been negatively affected by the COVID-19 pandemic. In response to this dreadful situation, the local government immediately developed various tourism policies. Therefore, this research intends to: a) identify policies issued by the Gunungkidul local government in response to the COVID-19 outbreak crisis; b) analyze the dynamics of the implementation of these policies; and c) examine the appropriation of the policies in accordance with a strategic and holistic framework of disaster and crisis management in tourism. This was a qualitative study in which data were collected through direct observation and literature review. The data in this study were then analyzed using thematic analysis techniques. The findings indicate that local governments published at least five strategic policies during the early period of the COVID-19 pandemic. These policies typically focus on the adaptive capacity dimension, particularly in the domain of strategic implementation, and result in more emergency response measures that are also oriented toward short-term action. It means that, so far, no policy has led to the restoration and reinvestment of the tourism sector in Gunungkidul in an effort to recover from long-term conditions. On the other hand, all stakeholders should go further to initiate policies that point to preventive and mitigating measures that emerge from the current crisis as well as to anticipate similar conditions that may occur in the future.

Abstract

Tawangmangu merupakan salah satu daerah di Kabupaten Karanganyar, Jawa Tengah yang terkenal sebagai daerah wisata. Salah satu dusun yang memiliki daya tarik budaya tersebut adalah Dusun Pancot. Dusun Pancot sendiri ditinggali oleh mayoritas penduduk dengan suku Jawa tersebut memiliki sebuah upacara adat bersih desa dan sedekah bumi bernama Upacara Adat Mondhosiyo. Apabila upacara adat ini dapat dikelola dengan baik, maka upacara tersebut berpotensi menjadi sebuah daya tarik wisata. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian kualitatif yang menghasilkan data deskriptif berupa paparan, gambar, dan eksplorasi dari hasil wawancara bersama key informan. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukan; Pertama, Upacara Adat Mondhosiyo Dusun Pancot memiliki atraksi budaya yang begitu kaya untuk dikembangkan menjadi wisata budaya. Kedua, fasilitas untuk memenuhi kebutuhan pengunjung atau calon wisatawan masih belum tersedia di Dusun Pancot. Ketiga, aksesibilitas dari jalan raya menuju dusun pancot sudah ada, namun belum ada pegiat tour and travel yang membuka paket wisata budaya Mondosiyo di Dusun Pancot. Ketiga, Dusun Pancot belum memiliki lembaga kepariwisataan yang fokus dalam mengembangkan kepariwisataan di dusunnya. Dari keempat konsep yang ada, Dusun Pancot masih memenuhi konsep atraksi dan aksesibilitas. Oleh sebab itu, dua konsep tersebut perlu untuk dikomunikasikan dan dirumuskan kembali antara masyarakat, tetua adat, ketua lingkungan, karang taruna, maupun kelompok sadar wisata yang nantinya terbentuk

Abstract

Tawangmangu merupakan salah satu wilayah destinasi unggulan di Jawa Tengah yang berlokasi di Kabupaten Karanganyar. Sebagai wilayah destinasi wisata yang menjadi rujukan bagi para wisatawan di sekitar Solo, di Tawangmangu terdapat berbagai hotel yang dirancang untuk memenuhi kebutuhan kegiatan MICE (meeting, incentive, convention, dan exhibition). Salah satu venue yang memiliki standard berdasarkan Peraturan Menteri Pariwisata No 2 Tahun 2007 tentang Pedoman Tempat Penyelenggaraan Kegiatan (Venue) Pertemuan, Perjalanan Insentif, Konversi dan Pameran adalah Hotel River Hill. Metode yang digunakan pada penelitian ini menggunakan studi literatur, observasi langsung dan indepth interview. Melalui data yang diperoleh dalam wawancara dengan narasumber yaitu pengelola/manager hotel River Hill, kemudian dilakukan analisis data yang menggunakan interactive model yang dikembangkan oleh Miles dan Huberman. Penelitian ini menghasilkan kajian deskriptif mengenai analisis Hotel River Hill sebagai salah satu venue yang secara garis besar masuk dalam katagori hotel berstandart MICE dan telah memenuhi ketentuan MICE berdasarkan PermenPar No 2 Tahun 2017.

Abstract

Negeri Ema, adalah salah satu negeri yang terletak di kecamatan Leitimur Selatan, Kota Ambon, Maluku, Indonesia. Negeri Ema juga merupakan salah satu negeri di kota ambon yang memiliki banyak nilai dan budaya, penelitian ini dilakukan karena adanya potensi wisata budaya yang ada di negeri Ema yaitu Rumah Dokter Johannes Leimena dan Peninggalan Kerajaan Majapahit, potensi wisata budaya yang ada di negeri Ema ini tidak dimiliki oleh daerah lain yang ada di maluku sehingga harusnya pemerintah memperhatikannya, tetapi karena kurangnya perhatian dari pemerintah maka ada beberapa peninggalan Kerajaan Majapahit yang telah rusak seperti Kendi emas dan Gamelan. maka solusi yang penulis berikan yaitu pemerintah dan masyarakat harus di setarakan karena pemerintah memberi dana untuk pembangunan dan pengembangan tetapi masyarakat juga yang mempunyai atau memiliki budaya tersebut sehingga kerjasama antar kedua pihak sangat dibutuhkan, perencanaan strategi promosi selain media sosial dan dari mulut ke mulut, seperti pembuatan film dokumentar, promosi lewat festival-festifal dan melalui poster, libatkan semua pemangku kepentingan atau pentahelix dalam pembangunan dan pengembangan destinasi wisata budaya supaya destinasi wisata ini tetap berkelanjutan dan memberikan dampak yang baik bagi pemerintah maupun masyarakat.

Abstract

Musik juga merupakan kegiatan kreatif dengan pertunjukan, kreasi, produksi, distribusi dan rekaman suara. Dengan meningkatnnya minat dan antusias musisi muda untuk terjun ke dunia musik sehingga dapat menunjukan bahwa musik memiliki potensi yang besar di Kota Ambon. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis dampak ekonomi kreatif berbasis musik sebagai alternatif pengembangan pariwisata di Kota Ambon pada Sanggar Booyratan Negeri Amahusu. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian kualitatif, dengan teknik pengumpulan data dengan wawancara yang dilakukan dengan Pengelola Sanggar Booyratan, Pemerintah Negeri Amahusu, komunitas Sanggar Booyratan, serta Masyarakat Negeri Amahusu. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa dampak kehadiran Sanggar Booyratan Negeri Amahusu sebagai alternatif pengembangan pariwisata di Kota Ambon telah berhasil dengan baik. Kegiatan yang dilakukan oleh sanggar Sanggar Booyratan Negeri Amahusu disambut dengan positif oleh pemerintah dan masyarakat sebagai alternatif pariwisata Kota Ambon berbasis Musik.
