Abstract

The research objective was to determine the application of economic tokens in increasing children's independence in kindergarten in Kwadungan District. This research was conducted in Kindergartens located in Kwadungan District, including DW Karangsono 1 Kindergarten, DW Karangsono 2 Kindergarten, DW Karangsono 3 Kindergarten, Dharma Wanita Mojomanis Kindergarten, Dharma Wanita Banget Kindergarten, Dharma Wanita Budug Kindergarten with a total sample of 60 students, with 30 students in the experimental class and 30 students in the control class. The research method used in this research is to use observational data collection and documentation to observe the behaviour of research subjects directly. The results of this study are that the initial factor for child independence comes from the parents or the house first. Then, after the child is in school, the teacher as an educator is also tasked with increasing the child's independence. Based on the data processing results through SPSS with the Paired Sample T-Test, the significance value was 0.000 <0.05. Therefore, it can be concluded that Ha is accepted and Ho is rejected. That is, there are differences in economic tokens to increase independence in children aged 5-6 years in the experimental class including Karangsono 1 PKK Kindergarten, Karangsono 2 PKK Kindergarten, Karangsono 3 PKK Kindergarten, and the control class includes Dharma Wanita Mojomanis Kindergarten, Dharma Wanita Banget Kindergarten, Kindergarten Dharma Wanita Budug. This situation proves that children treated with economic tokens experience increased independence.

Abstract

: The aim of this research is to develop creative gymnastics to stimulate basic motor skills in early childhood, especially in the age range of 5-6 years. This research employs the ADDIE development model (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation). The study uses a questionnaire as an instrument for expert reviews and an evaluation instrument for users, specifically 5-6-year-old children. The results of product validity testing by two content experts yielded a final score of 95%. The product's validity testing by gymnastics experts resulted in a final score of 82%. The effectiveness test on 5-6-year-old children produced a score of 87%. The research results indicate that creative gymnastics meet the criteria. Creative gymnastics as a physical activity can practically be used as a gross motor learning activity for teachers due to its variability.

Abstract

The research is about to develop digital storytelling media in introducing fire disaster mitigation for children aged 5 to 6. This research uses the ADDIE development model (Analyze, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation). This research method was using questionnaire instruments for expert review and evaluation instruments one to one for children aged 5 – 6 years. The results of the validity test of the product by the material expert obtained a hard score of 100%. The product validity testing results by the media expert received a final score of 77.5%. The validity tests of practitioners or teachers at the PAUD Institute obtaining a value of 97.5%. Product effectiveness test results in children aged 5 – 6 years gave a final value of 80.1%. Research results showed that the digital storytelling books qualified. The digital storytelling media has been successful in introducing fire disaster mitigation to children aged 5-6 years. This book can provide an introduction to the dangers of playing with flammable objects, objects that can extinguish fires, and actions taken in the event of a fire. This book can be practically used as a learning medium by children with the support and guidance of teachers and parents.

Abstract

This study aims to develop innovative learning media to stimulate locomotor skills in children aged 5-6 years. The research employs the ADDIE development model (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation). Questionnaires are used as instruments for expert reviews, and one-on-one evaluation tools are used for children aged 5-6 years. The results of the product's validity test by content experts obtained a final score of 98.2%. The validity test results by media experts received a final score of 93.7%. The product testing on children aged 5-6 years resulted in a final score of 91.6%. The research findings indicate that the innovative learning media named "MONOPOLI GEMASI (Moving and Imaginative Monopoly)" meets the requirements. This innovative learning media successfully stimulates locomotor skills in children aged 5-6 years. It provides physical activity content for children, including walking, running, jumping, leaping, and crawling. This media can be practically used as a learning tool at home and in early childhood education institutions.

Abstract

This research aims to obtain data regarding the role of parents in implementing the habit of hand washing in children 4-5 years old at BKB PAUD Utan Kayu Utara Subdistrict, Jakarta. This research uses a quantitative descriptive method with a survey method. This research was conducted by distributing questionnaires to respondents. The sample in this study were parents of students aged 4-5 years at BKB PAUD, Utan Kayu Utara Subdistrict. The technique used in determining the sample in this research is cluster sampling. The results of this study show that the role of parents in implementing the habit of hand washing in children aged 4-5 years is in the high category with 88% of the respondents. It can be concluded that parents are aware of the importance of getting their children to washing their hands. Parents are the first educators for children. The role of parents towards children is as caregivers, mentors, educators and as role models in shaping the child's character. In this case, parents are role models in getting children used to washing their hands so that their hands are clean and protected from disease.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the skills of PAUD teachers and prospective teachers in managing classes to anticipate bullying behavior in PAUD institutions through the implementation of the Child Friendly Class Management Model (MKRA). This research uses quantitative descriptive methods with survey techniques for PAUD teachers and classroom action research (PTK) for prospective PAUD teachers with data collection techniques using questionnaires, tests and observations. The sample in this study was 115 teachers who taught at non-formal PAUD institutions in Pulo Gadung District and 20 prospective teachers in the PG-PAUD FIP UNJ undergraduate study program. The research results show that teachers who have the ability to manage the classroom are in the quite good category at 60.80%. Meanwhile, the teacher's ability to anticipate child bullying in the classroom is 64.30%. These results illustrate that there are still many teachers who are unable to manage the classroom to anticipate children's bullying, which is characterized by the lack of teachers in recognizing the forms and characteristics of children's bullying, as well as the learning methods used. The results of classroom action research (PTK) show an increase in the ability of prospective teachers to manage the classroom from initial conditions of 50% to 70% in cycle 1 and 95% in cycle 2, which proves that the Child-Friendly Classroom Management Model (MKRA) can help improve competency managing classes for prospective PAUD teachers.

Abstract

Mengembangkan pop-up book 3D five magic words untuk menstimulasi kemampuan bahasa ekspresif anak usia 4-5 tahun merupakan tujuan studi ini, penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian Research and Deveploment dengan  model pengembangan ADDIE (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation) ditujukan untuk menghasilkan sebuah produk yang menekankan setiap komponen saling terkoordinasi sesuai dengan kelima tahap model pengembangan ADDIE. Pada penelitian ini menggunakan pengukuran data berdasarkan instrumen kuesioner untuk review ahli serta instrument evaluasi untuk orang tua. Nilai akhir uji kelayakan anak usia 4-5 tahun masing-masing adalah 96% dan 95%, berdasarkan uji validitas yang dilakukan oleh pakar media. Berdasarkan temuan penelitian, anak usia 4-5 tahun dapat memperoleh manfaat dari stimulasi bahasa ekspresif yang diberikan oleh pop-up book five magic words. Pada pop-up book five magic words ini memberikan manfaat yang dirasakan oleh anak, diantaranya, anak mampu untuk mengungkapkan kata dan kalimat yang sederhana, mengekspresikan persaaan anak, mudah memahami kata penggunaan salam, permisi, tolong, maaf, dan terima kasih.

Abstract

Penelitian pengembangan ini adalah penelitian yang bertujuan untuk mengembangkan produk media digital berupa Pop Up Book dalam Microsoft Powerpoint untuk menstimulasi Karakter Kebhinekaan Global yaitu Cinta Tanah Air dan toleransi pada anak usia 5-6 tahun. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian menggunakan metode ADDIE (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation). Responden dalam penelitian ini adalah 7 orang anak usia 5-6 tahun, 3 orang pendidik Lembaga PAUD, ahli materi, dan ahli media. Berdasakan hasil penelitian yang diberikan oleh ahli materi diperoleh presentase sebesar 75%, dari ahli media sebesar 93,1%, dari pendidik sebesar 92,4%, dan hasil uji efektivitas yang dilakukan pada anak usia 5-6 tahun dengan persentase 91,25%. Hasil produk penelitian yang dihasilkan dapat dikatakan sudah sesuai dan berhasil untuk pengenalan budaya di Indonesia dalam menstimulasi karakter kebhinekaan global cinta tanah air dan toleransi pada anak usia 5-6 tahun.

Abstract

Cases of sexual harassment are currently receiving serious attention because they often occur in various environments, including play areas, schools and families. This research aims to investigate the role of parents and teachers, as well as the strategies, methods and materials taught in the learning process at Al Muhajirin Kindergarten, Malang City. The type of research carried out was qualitative research with descriptive methods. Data collection was carried out through interviews and observations. The results of this study illustrate that sex education from an early age has a significant role. Educational institutions and the role of parents have a big influence on children's understanding of sex education.

Abstract

Kajian ini berguna dalam menciptakan media pembelajaran yang merangsang gerak dasar pada anak usia 5 hingga 6 tahun. Kajian ini menggunakan model ADDIE (analisis, desain, pengembangan, implementasi, evaluasi). Kajian ini menggunakan instrumen kuesioner untuk ulasan ahli serta instrumen penilaian satu ke satu dengan anak usia 5 hingga 6 tahun. Pengujian efektivitas produk dari ahli materi menghasilkan skor sejumlah 98,4%. Pengujian efektivitas produk dari ahli media menghasilkan skor sejumlah 85,9%. Skor akhir adalah 93,5% saat produk diujikan pada anak usia 5 hingga 6 tahun. Dari hasil kajian ditemukan bahwa media pembelajaran inovatif "ENGKASA'' mencukupi persyaratan tersebut. Media pembelajaran inovatif ini berhasil meningkatkan motorik dasar khususnya gerak dasar lokomotor anak usia 5 hingga 6 tahun. Media pembelajaran inovatif ini membagikan kepada anak materi tentang kegiatan fisik seperti berjalan, berlari, melompat, meloncat, serta merangkak. Media ini secara praktis dapat digunakan sebagai media pembelajaran di lingkungan anak usia dini maupun di rumah.
