Abstract

This study aims to examine the effects of absorptive capacity, innovation capabilities, and open innovation on SME performance in the Special Region of Yogyakarta. Previous research on open innovation in the Indonesian context has been conducted, yet it needed more specificity and omitted certain variables concerning the enhancement of SME performance. Therefore, this study aims to address this gap. A total of 202 respondents contributed to this research. Data were analyzed using SPSS and PLS-SEM with SmartPLS software. The findings reveal that absorptive capacity, innovation capabilities, and open innovation variables positively influence SME performance. This study contributes to enriching the literature on the concept of open innovation and SME performance. Furthermore, it offers valuable insights for business practitioners to implement these three variables for the enhancement of their business performance.

Abstract

In today's digital era, skilled leadership plays a crucial role in the utilization of information technology. This is in line with the role of human resource management in organizing government operations and public services to run efficiently, especially in the era of digital government. This qualitative study with content analysis reveals the role of leadership in human resource management applied in digital government. The findings of this research are as follows: first, leadership acts as a counselor for government digitalization; second, it serves as an instructor in implementing digital-based public services; third, leaders lead meetings and make decisions using digital technology; and fourth, leadership plays a role in delegating authority using technology and information.

Abstract

During the pandemic, the hospital industry is an industry that must adapt to the digital world. Hospital X is a hospital that is active on social media and has several followers which is quite high, but it turns out that it is not in line with the BOR achievement. This can be caused by many factors such as content marketing, the relationship between the number of followers, brand trust, and brand loyalty. Data were collected from 125 respondents. Data were analyzed using WarpPLS. The results showed that the majority of respondents consisted of young families with middle incomes. Then it was found that content marketing had a significant effect on brand trust and brand loyalty. Based on this, hospitals should focus more on high-quality content that aims to increase patient trust.

Abstract

To support and advance a company, everything depends on existing human resources. Because human resources have an important role in a company because human resources are what determine the success of a company in the long term. However, in reality, there are many challenges that employees must face in supporting the successful performance of a company. This research aims to determine the effect of workload and compensation on employee performance. The method used is a quantitative method with a population of 40 J&T Express employees in the North Surabaya Region and the sampling technique uses saturated sampling, namely the sample takes the entire population of 40 courier employees. Data was obtained through a questionnaire compiled based on indicators for each research variable and then analyzed using SmartPLS software. The results of the research show that a high workload can reduce employee performance and providing good compensation can improve employee performance for J&T Express couriers in the North Surabaya Region.

Abstract

Women deciding to pursue a career has caused a shift in the main role of women. The increase in the number of female workers is due to the equal opportunity between women and men in obtaining higher education. However, in reality, there are many challenges that must be faced by married women when they decide to start their careers. In dealing with this phenomenon, work-life balance and organizational support are needed to increase the work engagement of female employees in the company. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of work life balance and perceived organizational support on work engagement. The method used is a quantitative method with a population of 40 married female employees of PTPN I Regional 4 Surabaya and sampling techniques using saturated samples, namely samples taken to represent the entire population. Data were obtained through a questionnaire which was compiled based on indicators of each research variable and then analyzed using SmartPLS software. The results of the study showed the influence of work life balance and perceived organizational support on work engagement.

Abstract

Global technological advancements accelerated the spread of Korean culture, creating the Korean Wave. K-pop music is in high demand by the Millennial generation, and fans are very enthusiastic about their idol group merchandise. Buying excessive K-pop merchandise can lead to consumptive behavior, such as impulse buying, which encourages hedonistic behavior in individuals. The shopping lifestyle also plays a role in this phenomenon. This study examines how hedonic shopping motivation and lifestyle affect impulse purchases of official K-pop merchandise (a study of the Monbebe community). This research methodology is quantitative research with a survey method. Samples were taken from the Monbebe community using non-probability sampling techniques with 100 respondents. Google Forms was used to collect data, and the multiple linear regression method was used to analyze it. The research findings show that impulse buying behavior is significantly and partially influenced by hedonic shopping motivation and shopping lifestyle when buying official K-pop merchandise.

Abstract

Skincare has developed rapidly in the last few years, the skincare brands available are very diverse, one of which is Cosrx which comes from South Korea. South Korea is considered a highly innovative country in the beauty and skincare industry, known for its advanced technology and effective product formulations. This research aims to determine the influence of Country of Origin on the decision to purchase Cosrx skincare, the influence of brand image on the decision to purchase Cosrx skincare, and the influence of product quality on the decision to acquire Cosrx skincare. The research method used is quantitative research. The sample in this study used the Likert formula and the results were 90 respondents. The Purposive Sampling method was used for sampling. The data analysis approach uses the PLS (Partial Least Square) program. Based on the research results, country of origin, brand image and product quality all positively and significantly influence consumer purchasing decisions for Cosrx skincare.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the influence of work-life balance, workload, and burnout on employee performance. The research employs a descriptive quantitative method, utilizing multiple regression analysis with SPSS 26 for data processing. The sample was selected using simple random sampling, where employees from PT. Siraj Badawi Cukup Rupiah was randomly chosen to participate in the survey. A total of 369 questionnaires were distributed, with 110 respondents returning them, yielding a response rate of 29.81%. The findings can be summarized as follows: (1) Work-life balance has a positive but not significant effect on employee performance; (2) Workload has a positive and significant effect on employee performance; (3) Burnout has a significant negative effect on employee performance; (4) Work-life balance, workload, and burnout collectively have a significant impact on employee performance.

Abstract

The study sought to investigate the impact of brand globality and brand locality perceptions on brand credibility. Then, examine the impact of brand credibility on your brand relationship. The AMOS program analyzed the hypothesis proposed in this study using a structural equation model (SEM). Purposive sampling with individual units of analysis was employed in this study. Primary data was collected by distributing questionnaires to 200 respondents. According to the findings of this study, perceptions of brand globality and perceptions of brand locality have no positive effect on brand credibility. In contrast, brand credibility has a positive influence on brand relationships with oneself. This research is limited to users of healthy product brands. Future researchers can examine users of healthy product brands in general. This research contributes to providing input to the top management of companies in Indonesia regarding factors that can help achieve and manage consumer loyalty in using healthy food products.

Abstract

Employee job satisfaction is one of the important elements that must be considered in a business in terms of human resources. This writing is to find out how employee job satisfaction at PT Biro Klasifikasi Indonesia Tanjung Perak Surabaya branch is influenced by work-life balance and career development. This research methodology uses an associative quantitative approach. The study employed a saturation sampling strategy to choose a sample of 46 employees from the PT Biro Klasifikasi Indonesia Tanjung Perak Surabaya branch. With Partial Least Square (PLS-SEM) analysis. The research findings are, at PT Biro Klasifikasi Indonesia Tanjung Perak Surabaya branch, work life balance has a positive and large effect on employee job satisfaction, and career development has a positive and significant effect on employee job satisfaction.
