Abstract

PT X is a company that produces animal feed for poultry such as chickens, ducks, quails, and pigs. The animal feed products offered are in accordance with the nutritional needs of each growth period. The form of animal feed produced by PT X can be in the form of concentrates, mash, pellets or crumble. The challenge faced by PT X is that with the variety of products produced and the relatively large scale of production, the products produced often experience defects, so the products must be held in the warehouse for further processing. Forms of defects detected include abnormal texture, high moisture, and mixing. In addition, defects due to torn sacks also cause non -value-added activities because the products must be repackaged, resulting in delays in the delivery of orders for these products. The problem will be analyzed using the waste assessment model method to find critical waste, then a fishbone diagram is used to find the root of the problem and improvement proposals will be made using the 5W1H method. from the results of the calculation using the WAM method, the final results of the calculation using the Waste Assessment Model (WAM) method show that the highest waste in the animal feed production process is waste defects with a percentage value of 29.20%, waste inventory with a percentage of 19.63% and waste motion with a percentage of 13.20%. Then, improvement proposals will be given, including increasing operator training and evaluating the production process, implementing a digital-based monitoring system such as ERP / WMS for real-time stock visibility, adding conveyors or handlifts in the loading area to minimize manual load lifting movements to make it more effective. From the proposed improvements given, it can reduce the lead time by about 373.33 seconds or 6 minutes and 13 seconds.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the impact of debt delinquency on financial stress, with financial capability considered as a moderating factor among housewives residing in Regency Housing. A quantitative method with an explanatory design was employed, involving a sample of 96 housewives selected through random sampling. Data were obtained via questionnaires and analyzed using multiple linear regression. The findings reveal a positive correlation between debt delinquency and financial stress indicating that greater delays in debt repayment are associated with higher financial stress levels. On the other hand, financial capability appears to reduce financial stress, although the effect is not statistically significant. Furthermore, the study concludes that financial capability does not moderate the relationship between debt delinquency and financial stress. These results underscore the importance of financial education initiatives aimed at helping housewives manage debt more effectively and improve their financial literacy. The study also suggests that enhancing social support systems and ensuring access to formal financial services could help lessen the adverse effects of delayed debt repayments.

Abstract

Employee performance is a crucial factor that influences the success of an organization, including at UPT Balai Yasa Yogyakarta, which operates in the field of railway maintenance. In efforts to improve performance, two crucial factors to consider are work motivation and leadership. Work motivation encourages employees to perform more optimally, while effective leadership provides direction, support, and a conducive work environment. However, the suboptimal performance of some employees indicates the need to evaluate the role of these two factors. This research seeks to empirically investigate the impact of work motivation and leadership on the performance of employees at UPT Balai Yasa Yogyakarta. This study employs a quantitative method with a descriptive approach to objectively and systematically examine the relationships among variables, using data gathered through questionnaires distributed to 196 employees at UPT Balai Yasa Yogyakarta. The data utilized in this study includes both primary and secondary sources, which are analyzed through descriptive analysis and SEM-PLS. The results show that both work motivation and leadership positively influence employee performance. High levels of motivation, coupled with effective leadership, contribute to improved overall performance. The impact of work motivation on employee performance is similar for both male and female employees, indicating no significant differences between the two groups. Conversely, there is a gender-based difference in the impact of leadership, highlighting the need for a more flexible and adaptive leadership approach to effectively engage and motivate all employees.

Abstract

The development of social media, especially TikTok, has become a strategic opportunity for fashion brands to expand their marketing reach, including Tenue de Attire. However, despite appearing frequently on the For You Page (FYP), there are still many users who do not realize that Tenue de Attire is a brand that sells fashion products and when compared to other local products, Tenue De Attire has the lowest number of products sold. Through brand awareness, this research seeks to examine how electronic word-of-mouth (e-wom) and content marketing affect purchase intention. Gen Z Surabaya TikTok users made up the study's population. With a sample size of 126 respondents, this study employed the purposive sampling method. The findings of this study show that while electronic word-of-mouth (e-WOM) exerts a positive and significant influence on brand awareness, content marketing does not demonstrate a noticeable effect. Furthermore, purchase intention is positively and significantly affected by brand awareness. In addition, e-WOM shows a positive and substantial indirect impact on purchase intention mediated by brand awareness, whereas content marketing appears to have no indirect influence in this regard.
