Abstract

The goal of this research is to investigate the underlying motivations for the role of the CSR manager. The study used smart PLS analysis to identify three motivations behind the role of CSR managers in mining companies, namely economic, legal and ethical domains. The study includes 114 managers or representatives from CSR-implementing mining companies in South Sumatera, Indonesia. The manager of mining companies in this region is mandated to implement CSR based on the rules of legislation. The study found that following Indonesian CSR legislation is not a significant motivation for CSR managers. Instead, CSR managers' decisions are influenced by economic motivation. Furthermore, analysis results revealed that CSR managers' motivation for economic and legal domains influenced their role in CSR. Keywords: CSR, mining companies, motivation, role.

Abstract

Many researchers are confused about which software to use because there is no research on software comparisons for quantitative research data analysis. The purpose of this study is to compare the results of quantitative research data processing in the field of education management using Lisrel, Tetrad, GSCA, Amos, SmartPLS, WarpPLS, and SPSS software for small samples or respondents. This research method is quantitative and research data analysis uses the four types of software to obtain a comparison of the results of the analysis. The analysis in this study focuses on the analysis of hypothesis testing and regression analysis. Regression analysis is used to measure how much influence the independent variable has on the dependent variable. The field of this research is education management and the research data uses quantitative data derived from questionnaire data for a small sample of 40 respondents with three research variables, namely the independent variable of transformational leadership and job satisfaction, while the dependent variable is teacher performance. Based on the results of the analysis using Lisrel, Tetrad, GSCA, Amos, SmartPLS, WarpPLS, and SPSS software, the results showed that for a small sample there was no significant difference in the significance value of p-value and t-value. There is also no significant difference in the determination value, and the correlation value in the resulting structural equation also has no significant difference in results, while for CB-SEM represented by Lisrel, Tetrad cannot process data with a Little respondents size. The novelty of this research is the result of comparative analysis of Lisrel, Tetrad, GSCA, Amos, SmartPLS, WarpPLS, and SPSS

Abstract

Students must possess the necessary competences to work in the industrial sector. This study's aim is to suggest a worker competency model tailored to economic faculty students. Data from surveys given to economic faculty students are the basis for this quantitative study, which employs an explanatory study design. All students in the economic faculty make up the population. Convenience sampling was employed for the sample. All 1401 members of the economic faculty make up the research sample. The K-Workers Competency research tool from Santoso and Hasan's (2018) study is the one that was employed. Structural Equation Modelling (SEM) analysis utilizing SmartPLS 3 and Multi Group Analysis (MGA) were used to conduct the analysis. The SEM analysis reveals a well-adjusted K-Workers model for student perceptions, with 4 out of 6 hypotheses confirmed to be significant and 2 rejected. Competencies of K-Workers affect Telkom University students. These results can influence future curricula for students and are important in terms of theory, applicability, and policy making
