Abstract

This study entitled ‘Multilingual Education: opportunities and challenges’ which is qualitative in nature. The aim of this study is to explore teacher’s perspective on opportunities and challenges of multilingual education at primary level students. in Nepal. To conduct my study, I have used primary as well as secondary sources of data collection. For its primary sources of data, I have conducted semi-structured interview with a teacher of a public school at basic level to find out their perception towards multilingual education. For secondary sources of data, I have reviewed different policies, research papers and constitution of Nepal etc. The findings of this study included; the students have better understanding over subject matter and they have good proficiency in language. It was also found that there were some challenges that all the teachers are not multilingual, and there is problem in classroom management. At last, we understood, that multilingual education system is good for quality education but the occurred challenges should be minimized by all the stakeholders.

Abstract

Article with the title Internalization of Multicultural Values in Islamic boarding school religious institutions in Semarang Regency, Central Java, Indonesia. The formulation of the problem in this study article uses a type of descriptive research with a qualitative approach, the location of this research was carried out at a religious institution Islamic boarding school in Semarang regency. Data sources were obtained from primary data and secondary data. Data collection techniques use interviews, and observations, while the data analysis techniques used are data reduction and data presentation. For checking the validity of the data used triangulation techniques. The results showed that the process of internalizing multicultural values in religious institutions of Islamic boarding schools in Semarang Regency uses multicultural knowing and multicultural feeling. The implementation of multicultural values has a positive impact on the attitude of students in Semarang district, this positive attitude is implemented in the interaction of daily activities such as equality, justice, tolerance, respect, responsibility, and accepting differences.

Abstract

This type of research is qualitative with an exploratory study approach to get an overview of the factors that cause people not to have SPALs so that efforts can be made to overcome them, in the form of education and making environmentally friendly SPALs. Based on demographic data regarding the factors causing the lack of ownership of waste water disposal channels (SPAL) and efforts to approach environmental health aspects to increase SPAL ownership in the Tigapanah sub-district community in 2023, namely the most dominant age group is 41-60 years old, 175 people (49%) and the most aged 10-20 years as many as 5 people (1.4%), the most dominant occupation is farmers as many as 247 people (69.2), the most dominant education is middle school - high school as many as 232 people (65%), at least D1 education there were 31 people (8.7%), the most addresses were in Seberaya village as many as 79 (22.1%), and the fewest addresses were in Aji Julu village as many as 6 people (1.7%). The number of household residents who predominantly live in 1 house with 4 people or more is 186 people (52.1%) while 1 -3 people are 171 people (47.9).

Abstract

The Democratic Republic of Timor-Leste, as a Democratic State of Law, as set out in the RDTL Constitution, article 1 (1) states that the Democratic Republic of Timor-Leste, the rule of law, the Democratic, the sovereign, the unitary, the self-governing and the self-governing of the will of the people and in respect for the dignity of each person. This is the fundamental principle of citizens under the concept of the rule of law itself, therefore, the state of Timor-Leste has a full obligation to protect the human rights of its citizens, including children, in accordance with the objectives set out in Article 6 (1) (b) of the RDTL Constitution, to guarantee and promote the fundamental rights and freedoms of its citizens, and respect the principle of the state in relation to democratic rights. In view of the reality of the above, the writer has created three aspects that are essential in this research, namely; The first legal aspect; the writer sees and analyser in more detail the legal system in Timor-Leste, which is mostly an alternative for the state to adapt and exist from the legal framework in Timor-Leste. Second, Sociology; the writer focuses on social problems that always involve children in any activity, such as political activities, juvinil conflicts, education and workers, taking into account these situations, the writer is also concerned about the current situation in Timor-Leste. Third Aspect Theory, the writer focused on the policy of law in the legal system of Timor-Leste .

Abstract

Tuberculosis or TB is a disease caused by the acid-fast bacillus Mycobacterium tuberculosis. Transmission of the disease through inhalation of air droplets infected with Mycobacterium tuberculosis bacteria. The aim of this research is to determine the description of public knowledge about TB disease in terms of concepts, facts and procedures. The research method used was descriptive research with a cross-sectional design to see a picture of public knowledge about TB disease. The research population was people from 3 villages, namely Tlogosari Kulon, Tlogosari Wetan and Bangetayu Wetan. The sample size was 176 people chosen randomly. Data collection techniques use questionnaires and interviews with respondents. The research results obtained showed that the majority of respondents' knowledge was in the high category, namely 160 frequency or 90.9%. Concept knowledge shows a high category, namely 162 frequencies or 92%. Knowledge Facts shows a high category, namely 152 frequencies or 86.4%. Procedural knowledge shows a high category, namely 127 frequencies or 72.2%. The conclusion shows that most of the public's knowledge is in the high category.

Abstract

Communication is the process of sending thoughts, messages and information. Learning English in Indonesia tends to be taught and studied as a foreign language. The program of Merdeka Belajar (Independent Learning) will provide students to compete in the world of college, and have the opportunity to explore knowledge. This research was conducted on 83 students of STIKES Pemkab Jombang Nursing Bachelor Program, semester 4. The research results are in the form of data which is then analyzed in qualitative descriptive form. The results of the research discuss the implementation of MBKM which includes 2 things, they are student interest in the MBKM program and the benefits felt by students participating in the MBKM program. The conclusion of the study is MBKM activity which is provided meaningful learning for students to understand activities that can be done outside of college, students not only do learning in class but can do activities that can develop their abilities both in class and outside classroom.
