Abstract

Gravity measurements in the Dieng geothermal area at regional and wide scales are still limited. GGMplus data provides large-scale gravity information that can be used for subsurface mapping more efficiently and at lower cost while maintaining optimal results. The GGMplus gravity acceleration data is processed into complete Bouguer anomalies, then separated using upward continuation to obtain regional and local anomalies. Both anomalies are further analyzed using the first horizontal derivative (FHD) and second horizontal derivative (SHD). The results are then used for 3D modeling using Grablox and Bloxer software. The Bouguer anomaly distribution ranges from approximately ‒70 to ‒230 mGal, with high anomalies located in the northeast of the study area, corresponding to geothermal manifestations in Dieng. FHD analysis indicates a regional anomaly source located 6.8 km northeast, interpreted as a magmatic zone. Local anomalies reveal an intrusion body about 2 km in size at a distance of 4 km in Mount Prau, interpreted as a heat source. The 3D model shows high-density values of 2.87 g/cm³ for regional anomalies and 2.8–2.9 g/cm³ for local anomalies, associated with ancient volcanic rocks and diorite intrusions acting as a heat source in the Sikidang–Merdada geothermal system.

Abstract

Increased vegetable production, especially cabbage (Brassica oleracea), in Indonesia requires effective and environmentally friendly pest management strategies. Plutella xylostella L. (Lepidoptera: Plutellidae) is a key pest capable of causing up to 90% yield loss. This study aimed to evaluate the effectiveness of botanical insecticides derived from Lantana camara leaf extract, Myristica fragrans seed extract, and Barringtonia asiatica seed extract in controlling P. xylostella larvae at a 15% concentration. The study was conducted using a Completely Randomized Design (CRD) with four treatments and three replications at a cabbage plantation in Tataaran Patar Village, South Tondano District, Minahasa Regency, from July to November 2025. Observations were carried out weekly for five weeks, recording larval mortality. Results showed that all three botanical extracts significantly affected larval mortality compared to the control. The highest mortality was recorded in the Barringtonia asiatica extract treatment at 87.07%, followed by Lantana camara at 78.09%, Myristica fragrans at 74.44%, and the control at 22.55%. These findings confirm that all three botanical insecticides at 15% concentration are effective in suppressing P. xylostella larval activity and can be developed as environmentally safe alternatives to synthetic pesticides.

Abstract

This study aims to develop a more systematic system for evaluating the performance of Community Health Centers (Puskesmas) based on the Health Center Management cluster. Performance evaluation of Puskesmas plays an important role in improving the quality of public healthcare services, particularly in Sragen Regency. However, the current evaluation process has not been integrated into a computerized system, making it less effective in supporting decision-making. Therefore, this study develops a decision support system by integrating the Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP) and the *Technique for Order of Preference by Similarity to Ideal Solution (TOPSIS) methods. The AHP method is used to determine the weight of each criterion based on its level of importance, while the TOPSIS method is applied to generate an objective ranking of Puskesmas performance. The results indicate that the system is capable of utilizing nine evaluation criteria to produce a ranking of Puskesmas within the Health Center Management cluster, from the highest to the lowest score. The developed system is expected to support a more effective evaluation process and improve decision-making. Future research may enhance the system by incorporating additional evaluation clusters, expanding the number of assessment criteria, and optimizing its features and security.

Abstract

Digital documents have become an essential medium for storing, managing, and distributing information in various sectors. Nevertheless, the risk of document alteration and forgery requires an effective mechanism to verify document authenticity. This research focuses on the implementation of Base64 and Pepper methods in a QR Code-based document verification system. The system was developed following the Waterfall software development model, which consists of requirement analysis, system design, implementation, and testing stages. A web-based application was created using PHP and MySQL. Verification tokens were produced from document identity data combined with a Pepper value, encoded using Base64, and embedded into QR Codes attached to PDF documents. During verification, the QR Code is scanned and the extracted token is compared with records stored in the database. Experimental results demonstrate that the proposed system is capable of verifying document authenticity accurately and efficiently. Furthermore, Black Box Testing confirmed that all implemented functions operated as expected. Therefore, the integration of Base64 and Pepper contributes to improving the security and dependability of digital document verification.

Abstract

The rapid advancement of information and communication technology has increased the need for data security and confidentiality in digital information exchange. Various threats, such as eavesdropping, data theft, and information manipulation, require effective security methods capable of protecting message content without attracting unauthorized attention. One of the techniques used to address this issue is steganography, which conceals secret information within digital media so that the existence of the message remains undetectable. This study aims to implement the Least Significant Bit (LSB) method on digital facial images as a medium for embedding secret messages and to evaluate the quality of the resulting stego images. The system was developed using the Python programming language with a Tkinter-based graphical user interface to facilitate the processes of message embedding and extraction. Prior to embedding, the secret message was secured using an XOR encryption operation with a specific key. The embedding process was performed by modifying the least significant bits of image pixels, resulting in minimal visual distortion. Experimental results indicate that the LSB method successfully conceals secret messages while maintaining the visual quality of the cover image. The evaluation produced low Mean Squared Error (MSE) values and Peak Signal-to-Noise Ratio (PSNR) values exceeding 85 dB, indicating a very high similarity between the original and stego images. Furthermore, the hidden message could be accurately extracted using the correct key, provided that the image had not undergone compression or manipulation. Therefore, the LSB-based steganography approach on digital facial images is proven to be an effective method for enhancing information security and confidentiality.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the development of injection motorcycle engine management system technology that demands increased performance through optimization of the Electronic Control Unit (ECU). This study aims to analyze the performance comparison of the Yamaha MX King 180 cc using a standard ECU and a racing ECU on engine power and torque. The method used is an experiment with engine dynotest testing in the range of 6000-10000 RPM. The research sample is a 2015 Yamaha MX King unit that has been modified to 180 cc. Data were collected through direct measurements of power (HP) and torque (Nm), then analyzed descriptively in the form of tables and graphs. The results show that the racing ECU is able to produce a higher maximum power of 24.9 HP at 10000 RPM compared to the standard ECU of 22.2 HP at the same engine speed. In terms of torque, both types of ECU reach peak values at 8000 RPM with a relatively small difference (18.18 Nm on the standard ECU and 18.15 Nm on the racing ECU). However, at low to mid-range revs, the racing ECU tends to produce slightly more torque, although at very high revs, it experiences a greater decrease compared to the standard ECU. The racing ECU excels at increasing high-rev power, while the standard ECU exhibits more consistent torque stability. Therefore, the choice of ECU type must be tailored to the performance requirements and the characteristics of the vehicle's use.

Abstract

One of the most significant foods for the people of Indonesia, tempeh is made mostly from soybeans. Soybean quality selection is still mostly done by hand, relying on eye inspection and the expertise of business actors. This may cause subjective evaluations, lengthy decision-making processes, and uneven outcomes. With the TOPSIS technique as its foundation, this project intends to construct a Decision Support System (DSS) for selecting high-quality soybeans. Color, texture, price, scent, and flavor are some of the evaluation criteria. Observations and interviews were conducted in Rumah Tempe A-Zaki Padang to gather data for the research. Ranking the options according to how close they were to the positive ideal solution and how far away from the negative ideal solution was done using the TOPSIS approach. In terms of preference values, the Green Soybean option came out on top with 0.9692, followed by Black Soybeans with 0.2335, Yellow Soybeans with 0.1516, and Brown Soybeans with 0.1181. Based on these outcomes, it seems that TOPSIS can indeed provide objective suggestions for soybean selection according to a number of different standards. Business players in the tempeh industry may benefit from this decision support system by using it to choose high-quality soybean raw materials more efficiently and accurately.

Abstract

Children's literacy can be improved through interactive learning media. A digital children's story platform, previously a mobile application, required web version development to expand user accessibility via browsers. The main challenge in this development was presenting multimedia content such as text, images, and audio dubbing synchronously scene-by-scene without degrading system performance, as well as facilitating reader interaction through a rating feature. This research aims to design and develop the platform using a Decoupled Architecture approach. The software development method used is Waterfall, encompassing requirement analysis, system design (UML, CDM, and PDM), implementation, testing, and maintenance. During implementation, ReactJS is utilized on the client-side for responsive interface rendering and state management, while Laravel is implemented on the server-side as a RESTful API provider to manage multimedia asset transmission, rating records, and the MySQL database. Functional system testing was evaluated using Black-box Testing, while user experience was validated using Spearman's Rank Correlation. The results indicate that this architectural separation (front-end and back-end) effectively resolves server overload issues commonly found in monolithic architectures and produces a seamless, stable asynchronous data transmission system across various devices.

Abstract

Flooding remains a recurrent hazard in the Special Capital Region of Jakarta (DKI Jakarta), causing substantial disruptions across multiple dimensions community life, including social well-being and economic activities. The availability of flood-related information through the Jakarta One Data Portal (Satu Data Jakarta) provides significant opportunities for broader data utilization; however, transforming such information into meaningful assessments regional vulnerability requires a systematic analytical approach to generate more comprehensive understanding of the conditions of individual urban villages (kelurahan). This study focuses on the classification areas based on the characteristics and impacts of flood events occurring throughout DKI Jakarta. The analysis utilizes flood event records from 2023 to 2025 and incorporates several indicators, including the number of flood occurrences, the number of affected neighborhood associations (RW), the number affected households, the number of affected residents, the number of evacuees, the number of evacuation sites, and floodwater depth. Data processing was conducted using the Knowledge Discovery in Databases (KDD) framework, encompassing data selection, cleaning and preprocessing, transformation, pattern exploration, result evaluation, and knowledge extraction. The findings demonstrate that three-cluster solution effectively captures variations in flood vulnerability levels, corresponding to low-, moderate-, and high-risk categories. A total of 96 urban villages were classified as low-risk, 27 as moderate-risk, and 46 as high-risk areas. The resulting clustering patterns provide a clearer spatial representation of flood-risk distribution across urban villages, thereby offering valuable insights for the development more targeted mitigation strategies, the prioritization of flood management interventions, and the enhancement of evidence-based decision-making processes in DKI Jakarta.
