Abstract

The rapid development of digital technology has led to the importance of intuitive and user-friendly operating systems. Windows, as one of the most widely used operating systems in the world, therefore we continue to strive to present a user interface (UI) that is not only functional but also easy to use. This journal discusses the project "Recreating Intuitive and User-Friendly User Interface for Windows Operating System: A User Experience (UX) Driven Approach" which aims to improve the Windows user experience through better UI design. The main objective of this project is to explore and implement design principles that can improve the overall user experience. With a user experience (UX) based approach, this project identifies weaknesses in the current Windows interface, seeks innovative solutions, and tests their effectiveness through comprehensive user research. In this research, we produced several new features that were introduced including grouping, app drawer, and widgets, all of which are intended to ease navigation and improve efficiency of use.

Abstract

This research was conducted at the Lau Sigembura hot spring tour, STM Hilir sub-district, Deli Serdang district using the magnetic method. This study aims to determine. Subsurface structures and the distribution of magnetic anomalies which are geothermal manifestations. The number of measurement points is 50 with an area of ​​1000 square meters. Data acquisition was carried out using the PPM Model GEM System type GSM 19T.While data processing uses daily corrections and IGRF corrections as well as upward continuations. Modeling is done using Mag2DC software. The total magnetic field ranges from -900 nT to 500 nT based on the contour of the local magnetic anomaly, the variation in the value of the anomaly is around -1050 nT to 350 nT. While the quantitative interpretation indicates the presence sandstone rock with susceptibility value 0,1075 cgs, Andesit with susceptibility values 0,0183 cgs, limestone with a susceptibility value of 0.0001 cgs – 0.0021 cgs. And shales with susceptibility value 0,021 cgs.

Abstract

Islamic boarding schools, as one of the oldest Islamic educational institutions in Indonesia, play an important role in rural communities. However, Islamic boarding schools often face hygiene problems, especially in waste management. The large number of students produces large volumes of waste, so effective management is needed. The waste management paradigm must now be changed to reduce, recycle and reuse (3R: Reduce, Reuse, Recycle). In the Industry 4.0 era, technology such as microcontroller-based smart trash cans and IoT have become effective solutions. This smart trash can can measure the weight and height of waste in real-time, providing data that can be accessed via smartphone and website, making it easier for waste managers to maintain a clean environment. This smart trash can will be placed at the Denanyar Islamic Boarding School and managed by a non-governmental organization that cares about cleanliness and the use of recycled waste.

Abstract

Fishermen is a term for people whose daily work is catching fish or other biota that live on the bottom or surface of the water. Fishermen can also discuss and share experiences in overcoming problems in the fisheries and marine sector to meet the needs of fishermen. The government of the Fisheries and Marine Service is required to support the need for subsidized fuel for fishermen. The increase in fuel oil (BBM) has an impact on the operational costs of fishermen, because BBM is one of the main components in the daily activities of fishermen, with the high price of BBM, fishermen will face an increase in operational costs that they must spend to carry out fishing activities. This can reduce the income earned by fishermen, because higher costs will affect the profits that fishermen get from the sale of fish. So the Fisheries and Marine Service of Langkat Regency Provides Assistance for Fishermen in Langkat Regency, from the many assistance that have been distributed in this thesis I took a sample of the Fishermen of Secanggang Village. Based on the research conducted, the results obtained were that the first alternative that was a priority to receive subsidized fuel assistance for fishermen in Langkat Regency with a Q value = 0 and was entitled to be recommended. And the next priority was the second alternative with a Q value = 0.492.

Abstract

In the era of data revolution and artificial intelligence, machine learning model optimization has become one of the most dynamic and crucial research areas. This article reviews the latest techniques in machine learning model optimization with a focus on pursuing maximum performance. We discuss various methods applied to improve model accuracy and efficiency, ranging from hyperparameter tuning techniques, advanced optimization algorithms such as Bayesian optimization, to innovative approaches such as meta-learning and transfer learning. These optimization techniques not only aim to improve model performance but also to overcome challenges related to big data, model complexity, and computational limitations. We investigate how these methods can be integrated in machine learning pipelines to achieve better results with more efficient resources. Through a review of recent literature and case studies of applications in various domains, this article provides in-depth insights into the trends and developments in model optimization, as well as practical recommendations for researchers and practitioners in pursuing maximum performance from their machine learning systems. A better understanding of these cutting-edge techniques is expected to facilitate the achievement of better and more innovative results in future machine learning applications.

Abstract

This type of research is qualitative research using descriptive methods. The data source in this research is the Head of the Library at SMPN 1 Lubuk Suhuing. The data for this research are the results of interviews with the head of the library at SMPN 1 Lubuk Suhuing. The instrument for this research was the researcher himself using an interview guide, notebook, digital camera and recording device. The data collection technique is carried out in five stages, namely: (1) this observation technique is based on direct experience (2) the observation technique allows you to see and observe yourself, then record behavior and events as they actually occur. (3) observation allows researchers to record events in situations related to proportional knowledge or knowledge directly obtained from data. (4) observation techniques enable researchers to understand complex situations. (5) in certain cases where interview techniques are not possible to carry out, observation becomes a tool. Based on the research results, it was found that: The research results of the library space arrangement according to Lasa HS (2007) amounted to 7 points, 3 points were appropriate while 4 points were not appropriate, thus the research results found that the characteristics of the library room arrangement at SMPN 1 Lubuk Suhuing could it is said to be not fully appropriate or in other words does not meet the spatial planning standards according to Lasa HS (2007).

Abstract

The history of disease in patients is generally recorded in medical record data in every hospital as well as at Artha Medika Hospital which is a health institution that was established in 2012 in the city of Binjai also has a very large amount of medical record data. However, in using the information management system owned by Artha Medika Hospital, there are weaknesses and it is still limited in managing medical record data in the hospital which is used in making reports to the head of the leadership. Therefore, a system is needed that can assist the hospital in improving health information management to be faster in managing data by approaching using data mining techniques with the k-means method. So that in finding new information based on medical record data of internal medicine patients can be used in the decision-making process by hospital management to be right on target so that it can produce 3 groups of data consisting of Age, Type of disease and Region. From testing on cluster 3, it can be seen that the results of the age group (X), type of disease (Y), region (Z) the amount of data owned is 645 cluster 3 data centred on the centroid of the information of the number of patient medical records data, namely age is 44-52 years, with the type of disease is chronic kidney disease and the region is South Binjai.

Abstract

Jasindo Insurance Company is one of the insurance companies that receives insurance coverage both directly and indirectly, with ownership of 1 share of dwiwarna series A owned by the Republic of Indonesia and 424,999 shares of Series B owned by PT Bahana Pembinaan Usaha Indonesia (Persero). PT Asuransi Jasa Indonesia has several products and choices in choosing which insurance is needed by customers in agriculture, health, education and many more. Due to the large amount of competition in the business world, it requires management to find the right strategy in increasing the use of Jasindo insurance by knowing the relationship between age, gender, marital status, occupation and the type of Jasindo insurance that is widely chosen by customers. In order to find out the use of insurance that is widely used by the community, it is necessary to analyze the data on the use of insurance using the apriori algorithm method to determine the combination between item-sets of transaction data on Jasindo insurance data. Based on the research conducted after experimenting with the above case with a minimum support = 25%, confidence = 100% so that the results of the rule that meets the support and confidence values are obtained, namely if the gender is male, the marital status is Unmarried, then the type of insurance is jasimdo health and jasindo rainbow then giving value is successful with 25% support, 100% confidence.

Abstract

A pinched nerve is a condition where certain nerves are compressed by tissues around the body, such as bones, cartilage and muscles. This causes the nerve to become damaged with symptoms of severe pain, tingling, and numbness during activity. Nerve pain can spread throughout the body. For example, patients with radiculopathy type spinal cord disease make the patient numb, and the nerve pain can spread to the feet and hands. Sylvani General Hospital also provides expert doctors who treat various diseases, including pinched nerve disease suffered by patients. However, there are several problems that often occur to patients when going for direct consultation due to time constraints, long queues, long waits, long distances to the hospital, and lack of costs. Because agencies need to have a system that can manage existing symptom data on pinched nerve disease and make it an online expert substitute information by utilizing technological developments to get maximum diagnostic results, and patients can find out the initial symptoms of one of them numbness, leg pain, arm pain, back pain, muscle weakness in the type of pinched nerve disease, namely radiculopathy, carpal tunnel syndrome, pinched nerves in the waist, piriformis syndrome, radial tunnel syndrome and treatment first by consulting through a system that has been created using the Bayes method. From the calculation process using the Bayes method above, it is known that the diagnosis of pinched nerve disease is diagnosed with nerve root syndrome (Radiculopathy) (P01) with a percentage of 72.55%.

Abstract

Public Facilities in Binjai City are infrastructure that is provided free of charge that can be enjoyed by the community and is one of the vacation spots that does not need to spend a lot of money, but there are several infrastructure facilities that are not maintained, dirty and have damage from minor to the most severe, even infrastructure, so that it greatly affects the comfort of the community. In the process of maintaining public facilities in Binjai City in accordance with the Binjai City Regional Regulation Letter Number 1 of 2024 concerning public facilities used for public purposes, including for educational, health, worship, socio-cultural, sports and recreational activities (Hamzah, 2024). The Environmental Service of Binjai City really needs input from the community to continue to help maintain and care for the facilities provided so that the agency can handle and respond to community complaints such as a lot of garbage, dirty, rusty, muddy facilities and others as well as input reported by the community on the cleanliness of public facilities in Binjai City. Therefore, the agency needs a system using the clustering method that can manage community complaint data to be used as information that can assist the agency in taking quick action to deal with the problem of community complaints about public facilities in Binjai City. Based on the research conducted on the case experiment above from testing 20 data, there are 3 groups, namely group 1 there are 5 data and group 2 there are 9 data, and group 3 there are 6 data which can be known that in cluster 2 the group of public complaints about public facilities in Binjai City with public facilities (X) Studion Field, with complaints (Y) Becek, Banyak Sampah, & Berkarat, with Advice (Z) Repair & Maintain Cleanliness.
