Abstract

Management of student recruitment is an arrangement or arrangement of all processes to get potential potential students in accordance with the provisions to enter at a certain level of education. Management of the recruitment of new students is a must in the process of selecting potential students, so that students can take part in madrasa programs and have a high level of success, especially success in improving the quality of Al-Quran reading and writing. To find out about this, researchers conducted research on the success tips of MTs Diponegoro in improving the reading and writing quality of the Koran. The focus of the problem in this study is how to manage the recruitment of new students in improving the reading and writing quality of the Koran at MTs Diponegoro Plandaan. This type of research is descriptive qualitative. The data that has been obtained by the researcher will be analyzed qualitatively and described according to the results of the data that have been obtained. The data taken were PPDB 2021 activities and the results of learning to read and write the Koran for seventh grade students for one semester. The results of this study reveal that the efforts of MTs Diponegoro Plandaan Jombang in improving the reading and writing quality of the Koran, namely by organizing management in recruiting new students with various strategies and innovations and providing teachers according to educational qualifications, and using the At Tartil learning method in learning to read and write Al Qur'an by grouping teaching activities to facilitate coaching so that students are able to fulfill several indicators for each level with the assessment standards set by MTs Diponegoro Plandaan Jombang so as to produce quality graduates, especially the quality of reading and writing the Koran. Among the assessment standards set by MTs Diponegoro Plandaan to determine the quality of Al-Quran reading and writing in their madrasah is that students can read the Al-Quran correctly and fluently according to the rules of tajwid science and can correct wrong readings and can write Al-Quran letters (hijaiyah) correctly and neat or at least the writing is clear when read

Abstract

The context of this research stems from the accreditation results of MI Al-Azhar Menganti Gresik on the standard of educators and education staff (PTK) showing a score of 84. This score is the lowest score when compared to other standards. This study aims to describe the planning, implementation and supervision in improving the quality of PTK at MI Al-Azhar Menganti Gresik. This research is a type of qualitative research with a case study approach. The background of this research was at MI Al-Azhar Menganti Gresik with the research subject being the head of the madrasa, deputy head of the madrasa, PTK. While data collection techniques using observation techniques, interviews and documentation. The data obtained were then analyzed using the Miles, Huberman and Saldan models through four stages: data collection, data condensation, data presentation and drawing conclusions. The results of the research and discussion show: 1) Planning in Madrasah-Based Management (MBM) is prepared based on the principles of fairness, partnership, independence, efficiency and accountability. 2) Implementation in MBM is carried out based on the principles of fairness, independence, partnership, participation and accountability. 3) Supervision in MBM is carried out based on the principle of accountability.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the learning conditions in schools which have decreased due to the pandemic situation which requires students to study at home to reduce the spread of the co-19 virus chain. The principal's strategy plays a very important role in the success of educational goals. In addition, the advantages of this school are the development of material on memorizing the Qur'an which involves many teachers with different teaching styles, especially in the context of forming the noble character of students. Such things affect the teacher's performance to realize the mission and mission of the school. The purpose of this study was to analyze and describe: the quality of teacher performance in the learning process, the principal's strategy in improving the quality of teacher performance as well as what factors influence the performance of school principals in improving the quality of teacher performance in the learning process at SD Islam Integral Lukman Al-Hakim Situbondo. This study uses qualitative methods using data collection techniques with observation, interviews, and documentation. Data analysis was carried out by data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. From the results of the study, it can be concluded that the quality of teacher performance has decreased due to the pandemic period which limited the space for interaction in teaching and learning activities (KBM), the principal's strategy is very influential and needed in improving teacher performance in the learning process. And there are several inhibiting factors in the implementation of the principal's strategy.

Abstract

The context of this research is an effort to increase teacher competence through the learning process because of the intense competition between schools to get students and the community, which incidentally prefers institutions that can help students to be able to go straight into the world of work. The purpose of the research is to describe how the school principal's management improves teacher competency through the learning process at Integral Islamic Elementary School Lukman AL-Hakim Situbondo. The type of research used is qualitative research with a case study approach. Data collection techniques by way of observation, interviews, and documentation. The data analysis technique used in this qualitative research has four stages, namely data collection, data reduction, data presentation, drawing conclusions and suggestions. Whereas in looking for the validity or validity of the data using data triangulation techniques. The results of this study are (1) The management carried out by the principal in improving teacher competence is as follows: (a) Include teachers in training, training and seminars (b) Prioritize discipline. (c) Teacher motivation (d) Supervision conducted every semester. (2) Carrying out the main tasks while still carrying out additional tasks such as religious activities and also always making teaching equipment. (3) Supporting factors "There are exemplary educators and educational staff and the Al-Amin foundation's large outreach by practicing Islamic doctrine in everyday life." The inhibiting factor is "there are no competent Qur'anic-based scholars according to the degree of Al-Qur'an Science, so it is necessary to recruit educators who specifically develop curriculum aspects of the Qur'an."

Abstract

This research is a descriptive qualitative research. The research subjects were teachers and students of MI Miftahut Tholibin Gresik. Data collection methods used are observation, interviews, documentation. This study aims to determine the implementation of character values in Surah al Ahzab verse 21 according to the interpretation of al misbah at MI Miftahut Tholibin Gresik. what are the supporting and inhibiting factors of the implementation of character education values in surah al ahzab verse 21 according to the interpretation of al misbah at MI Miftahut Tholibin Gresik. The results of the study show: first, the values of character education in Surah al Ahzab verse 21 are the character of uswatun repertoire, the character of Sidiq, Amanah, Fathanah and Tabligh which are implemented into the method of habituation and punishment. in the form of habituation of exemplary done by teachers, habituation of fardhu prayers, habituation of three languages and habituation of clean and beautiful Fridays carried out by students and teachers. There are supporting factors in the form of cooperation from school residents, the cohesiveness of educators and community participation. Thus it can be concluded that MI Miftahut Tholibin Gresik implements the values of character education in Surah al Ahzab verse 21 according to the interpretation of al misbah well.

Abstract

The success of developing character education is not only the responsibility of the school (principals and teachers), but also the responsibility of parents. Because the development of character education is a shared responsibility between school principals, teachers and parents, each must be able to play a role as a supporter of the successful implementation of character education. This study aims to find out what forms of activity have been carried out in the implementation of character education management at MTs Sunan Bonang and describe character education management with a comprehensive school development approach at MTs Sunan Bonang Bangeran Mojokerto. The type of research used in this study is a type of qualitative research. Data collection was carried out at MTs Sunan Bonang Bangeran Dawarblandong Mojokerto in November 2021 - April 2022. A total of 6 people consisting of the Principal, Administrative Staff, Teachers, Parents, Students became respondents in this study. Data collection techniques in this study are observation, interviews, and document studies, while for the analysis of the data used is in accordance with the theory of Miles Huberman and saldana, the validity of the data used is Triangulation Sources and methods.The results showed that the implementation of Character Education Management at MTs Sunan Bonang Bangeran Dawarblandong in general has been carried out quite well, although not optimally. There are still some things that need to be perfected both in aspects of planning, organization, implementation and control and evaluation, as well as aspects of parental involvement in the character education management process. Activities or programs that have been implemented are as follows; (a) Giving an example and doing Habituation. (b) Designing and Planning. (c) Develop a character syllabus. (d) Develop character RPP. (e) Conducive Classroom management and friendly environment (f) Publish Communication Books. (g) Parents meeting (evaluation forum). (h) Student Program.

Abstract

This article is entitled "The Concept of Ulul Albab in the Al-Qur'an and Its Implementation in Character Education for Students of MTs Al-Azhar Menganti Gresik". The research method in this thesis uses a qualitative case study approach and data collection techniques through observation, interviews, and documentation. The focus of this research is: 1) How is the concept of ulul albab in the Qur'an?, 2) How is the implementation of the concept of ulul albab in character education of students at MTs Al-Azhar Menganti Gresik? While the objectives of this thesis research are: 1) To find out how the Qur'an describes the concept of ulul albab, 2) To find out how the implementation of the concept of ulul albab in character education of students at MTs Al-Azhar Menganti Gresik. The results of this thesis research are: 1) The concept of ulul albab in the Qur'an is described as a person who tries to explore the Oneness of his God by always thinking about His creation. 2) The concept of ulul albab at MTs Al-Azhar is carried out with istikamah activities and with continuous improvement efforts. Because it refers to character education from an Islamic perspective, where there is no separate discipline from Islamic ethics. The comparison between reason and revelation in determining the character of a student is very important. Until the main values that must be possessed by a student of knowledge other than knowledge itself, namely morals, etiquette, and example.

Abstract

This thesis is the result of field research (Field Research) to answer the first question: How to plan discovery learning models in the field of Islamic Studies and Budi Pekerti in class V SDI Nurul Bayan Kebunagung Sumenep?. and second: How is the implementation of the discovery learning model in the field of PAI and Budi Pekerti in class V SDI Nurul Bayan Kebunagung Sumenep?. This type of research is a type of qualitative research (field research), namely data collection carried out by research at the place where the phenomenon under study occurs. In this case, the authors collect data on issues related to the implementation of the discovery learning model in the field of Islamic religious education and character. This research is a descriptive exploratory research which aims to describe the state or status of the phenomenon. Based on the results of the study, it was found that the learning planning for Islamic Religious Education and Budi Pekerti using the discovery learning model can be stated in the syllabus and developed in the lesson plans made at the beginning of the new school year, which are tailored to the needs of students. So that it will obtain results that are in accordance with the competency objectives of PAI subjects, the RPP will be brought to the MGMPS and forwarded to the MGMP center/district. The implementation of Islamic religious education and character education using the discovery learning model can be carried out in three stages, namely preliminary activities to restore students' concentration in understanding the material (praying, reading verses of the Qur'an, attendance, apperception). Second, the core activity is discussing learning materials using the discovery learning model, by working in groups. Students are active in classroom learning, namely observing, identifying, processing data, proving data, and drawing conclusions. The third stage is the closing activity, the teacher provides reinforcement, prays together and continues with greetings.

Abstract

The cosmetics industry is a sector full of competition, where many local and international brands compete with each other to attract the attention of consumers. In the face of this competition, advertising becomes a very important tool for these companies to introduce products and influence consumer perception and buying interest. This study aims to understand the extent to which advertising influences consumers' buying interest in Wardah's cosmetic products in Menganti Village, which is one of the popular local brands in Indonesia. Data was collected with a closed questionnaire instrument with Likert scale. The population in the study was wardah cosmestic consumers in Menganti Village. Purposive sampling technique used. The sample was calculated by the Cochran formula which resulted in 385 respondents. The data is then processed using nonparametric statistical methods, which include linear regression tests, t tests, and R2 tests. The results showed that there was a positive influence on the use of wardah advertising in influencing consumer buying interest in Menganti Village. The amount of influence is shown by the value of the correlation coefficient of 12.6%. This study reinforces the results of existing research that fish has a positive impact on consumer buying interest.

Abstract

The presence of modern retail, minimarkets, and supermarkets makes the existence of traditional stores that have long been rooted and become part of the culture of the Indonesian nation, grocery stores began to be affected by its progress. Creativity and innovation are needed in maintaining the progress of the grocery store. The presence of Sampoerna Retail Community CSR program is the answer to the needs of grocery store entrepreneurs in competition with modern retail. This study aims to answer the problem of whether there is a significant impact of Sampoerna Retail Community's CSR program on the progress of grocery stores. This type of research is Field Research field research with a quantitative approach. Data was collected using a closed questionnaire technique with Likert scale. A population of 35 SCR partners with population sample sampling techniques or saturated samples. The data were analyzed using simple linear regression statistical tests, T test and R2 test. The results of this study conclude that there is a significant influence of Sampoerna Retail Community (SRC) CSR program on the progress of grocery stores. The amount of impact produced is 7.3% as the results of the R2 test. The results of this study strengthen previous research that CSR programs are very helpful or have a positive impact on people's lives.
