Abstract

This research aims to explore the effectiveness of thematic-integrative learning in enhancing 21st-century skills among elementary school students. The research method involves the implementation of a thematic-integrative curriculum in core subjects such as language, mathematics, and science. Data were collected through classroom observations, teacher interviews, and student skill evaluations. The results show a significant improvement in students' critical thinking, creativity, collaboration, and communication skills. Thematic-integrative learning provides relevant and real-world contexts, motivating students to learn holistically. These findings support the concept that this approach can be effective in preparing students to meet the demands of 21st-century skills. The practical implications of this research emphasize the need for thematic curriculum integration to equip students with the necessary skills in the modern era.

Abstract

This journal explores the integration of the character value of Love for the Homeland in thematic learning at the Elementary School (SD) level. The research aims to understand the impact of integrating these values on students' character development. The research methods involve classroom observations, interviews with teachers, and curriculum document analysis. The results indicate that thematic learning with a focus on love for the homeland enhances students' understanding of national values. Additionally, students show improvements in positive attitudes, cooperation, and responsibility towards the surrounding environment. The practical implication of this journal emphasizes the importance of supporting teachers in integrating national character values into the curriculum, shaping a generation that loves their homeland and possesses a strong national identity. This study contributes to a practical understanding of implementing character values in the context of thematic learning at the elementary school level.

Abstract

This research aims to evaluate the influence of the singing method on English vocabulary mastery in elementary school students. The research method employs an experimental approach with control and treatment groups. Students in the treatment group engage in vocabulary learning sessions through singing, while the control group follows a conventional approach. Data is collected through vocabulary tests before and after the intervention. The data analysis results show a significant improvement in vocabulary mastery in the treatment group compared to the control group. Singing method proves effective in enhancing students' learning motivation, strengthening vocabulary retention, and stimulating active engagement in English learning. These findings have positive implications for the development of teaching strategies focusing on creative and interactive elements, particularly in the context of language learning at the elementary school level.

Abstract

In this research, we examined the influence of storytelling methods on the narrative writing abilities of third-grade students. The study involved students participating in various storytelling activities as a teaching approach. Data were collected through narrative writing tests before and after the intervention. The data analysis results indicated a significant improvement in narrative writing skills after the introduction of storytelling methods. Evaluation took into account factors such as creativity, narrative structure, and vocabulary usage. Implications of these findings include recommendations to incorporate storytelling methods as a learning strategy to enhance narrative writing skills at the elementary school level. This study contributes to a practical understanding of the implementation of storytelling methods in elementary education and emphasizes the importance of developing engaging learning strategies to enhance students' literacy skills.

Abstract

This research aims to assess strategies for improving elementary school students' critical thinking skills using a literature review approach. Analysis of previous research related to critical thinking skills was carried out to identify more effective and efficient efforts. The hope is that the results of the literature review can provide valuable insight for educators in improving elementary school students' critical thinking skills. The research findings involved a review of 15 journals, with emphasis on reference sources, sample types, research methods, interventions, and journal review results. In conclusion, increasing students' critical thinking skills can be achieved through various learning models, such as Problem Based Learning, Discovery Learning, Problem Solving, Inquiry, and Cooperative, especially in the context of mathematics learning.

Abstract

This study aims to investigate the effect of cyberbullying on elementary school students' absenteeism levels. Cyberbullying is an increasingly disturbing phenomenon in the digital world, and its impact on children's well-being is not yet fully understood. In this study, we conducted a survey and data analysis of elementary school students to evaluate the extent to which cyberbullying experiences contributed to their absenteeism. The results of this research will provide deeper insight into the impact of cyberbullying on student absenteeism rates, which can be used as a basis for the development of more effective intervention and protection strategies in basic education environments.

Abstract

Education is a common thing and is a basic right for every human being living on earth. Proper education can lead humans to the gates of glory and will promise progress for the nation and state. This research aims to conduct a study of SDGs progress towards character education development. The method used is descriptive analysis, namely by searching and collecting reference sources from previously published articles/journals for study. The research results show that the presence of SDGs programs that are in line with Indonesia's educational goals has a good influence on improving character education in Indonesia. Especially at a time when society is increasingly dependent on the convenience of technology and the lack of a proper education system throughout the country.

Abstract

Technology and education, nowadays, are two things that cannot but be linked. Technology can bring the education system towards a higher quality model and education will also have a broader impact on technology. Based on these facts, this research was written with the aim of exploring the integration of technology in elementary school teaching in the 21st century. In writing this research, it was carried out using a descriptive method by collecting previous articles/journals to be used as a reference source in writing. The sources that have been collected are then subjected to in-depth analysis so that the expected conclusions can be found. The research results show that the integration of technology has a good impact on the world of education. Where technology plays a major role in the distribution of knowledge. Technology that has unlimited and limitless properties will have a positive impact on the world of education so that the boundaries that previously existed will be eroded due to the convenience provided.

Abstract

An important aspect of the Merdeka Curriculum is differentiated learning, which recognizes individual differences in students and provides learning experiences according to their needs and interests. However, in its implementation, there are still many challenges, such as gaps in resource availability, changes in traditional mindsets in education, and the need to involve educators in developing learning strategies that encourage student independence and creativity. To encourage students' independence and creativity in the learning process, educators can use the project-based learning model. The method used in this article is a literature review. Data collection is obtained from scientific articles, journals, research reports, seminar proceedings, and websites relevant to the title. Based on the results and discussion, it can be concluded that project-based learning can increase student independence and creativity in independent curriculum education. Project based learning is a project-based learning that provides flexibility for students to explore the subject matter independently and in groups in creating ideas and ideas. This is in accordance with an important aspect of the Merdeka curriculum, namely differentiated learning, which recognizes.

Abstract
