Abstract

The aim of this research is to know the effect of traditional comic strip photo novella media on the level of informed understanding of patient of Sectio Caesarea (SC). This research is a quasi-experimental research by dividing the research subjects into two groups namely the treatment group (given photo novella) and control (not given photo novella) each of 30 people in RSIA HST Trenggalek hospital. This study found that group understanding received significantly higher media in terms of explanation of indications, procedures, objectives, alternatives, risks, complications and SC costs compared to patients without photo novella media. There were no significant differences in terms of explanation of action names and SC prognosis in both groups.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was performed to evaluate the content and quality of clinical pathway sectio Caesarea (CP SC), compliance evaluate the implementation of CP SC and know that there are barriers in the implementation of CP SC, so it can make recommendations to improve the implementation of CP SC in hospitals Panembahan Senopati Bantul. The research used mix method focusing in case study design at obsgyn unit room in Panembahan Senopati State Hospital in Bantul. Sample of respondent to the quantitative data to observe at the documentation and obedience to the medical records of patients who had been operated sectio caesarea’s elective that choosen by total sampling and evaluation of CP SC using the Integrated Care Pathway Appraisal Tools (ICPAT) consisting of six dimensi. Data qualitative is obtained by do a deep interviews with a purposive sampling method.

Abstract

The research was conducted at X hospital which aims to determine the effect of work motivation, work discipline on the performance of nurses in the inpatient room. The data obtained has been analyzed using descriptive analysis and quantitative analysis. Quantitative analysis used multiple regression analysis to determine the effect of independent variables on the dependent variable, but before the test is carry out the validity and reliability has been tasted, sampling was using total sampling technique where the population is equal to the number of samples as many as 47 nurses. The results of the study revealed that work motivation factors had a significant effect on the performance of nurses in X hospital, while the discipline factors did not have a significant effect on the performance of nurses of X hospital while the influence of work motivation and work discipline on performance shows a positive number which means there is an influence on performance. The results of the study revealed that motivation factors had a significant effect on performance as (0.041) which means that h0 was rejected and h1 was accepted. While the results of work discipline on performance did not have a significant effect, value of the discipline as (0.750) where the value is bigger than the standard value of error (0.05) which means h0 was accepted and h1 was rejected. From the research, it was found that the human resources at X hospital were still lacking in terms of motivation and in terms of work discipline the quality of human resources had improved.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze root problems and the best solution of entry delays in the BPJS claim verification file to IJP (Installation of Financing Guarantee) of the hospital. This research is a qualitative descriptive research using Focus Group Discussion, Fishbone diagram and “5 Why” question methods to find the root problems. After that, the choice of alternative solutions is determined by Nominal Group Technique (NGT) and Capability Accessibility Readiness and Leverage (CARL) methods. This activity involves 2 management staffs, 3 IJP staffs, 2 pharmacists, and 7 nurses from emergency department, outpatient and inpatient units. The result of this research is written feedback by IJP for all outpatient and inpatient unit as the best solution which is expected to overcome the entry delays problem.

Abstract

Hospitals are expected to provide service according to the accreditation committee standard. One of the accreditation criteria is Infection and Prevention Control, in which the hospital must minimalize infection risk from the provided facilities such as hospital food service. Analyzing food handlers hygiene and sanitian practice in PKU Muhammadiyah Gamping Hospital’s Food Service Unit. The research method is a qualitative method, and the design is a case study. Subjects of the research are 13 food handlers, one food service unit supervisor, one sanitation unit supervisor, one infection and prevention control unit, supervisor. Here we conducted a questionnaire to measure knowledge, an observation checklist to observe food handlers compliance and an in-depth interview for their perspective on hygiene and sanitation practice. Food handlers perspective in hygiene and sanitation practice, on knowledge wise 10 (76,92%) food handlers have good knowledge on hygiene and sanitation. 13 (100%) food handlers have a good practice and compliance on practicing food safety and hygiene and sanitation practice. The Conclusion and Advice there are some adversities such as neglection to wear personal protective types of equipment and some facilities need to be upgraded.

Abstract

Aim of this study are to describing factors inefficient in health insurance program in RSI Gondanglegi especially for operatif procedure. This research was conducted with descriptive analysis method. Starting with the observation in the medical record at diagnosis in the case above, and compare with form details the cost of the patients in the period from the first quarter of 2016. The results obtained financing on medical services and medicines. By making the policy of medical services and medicines for patients health insurance, standards of clinical care, effective communication of team with related units, and an increase in the type of hospital grade is expected to improve the efficiency of implementation in RSIG.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the market segmentation X Hospital so as to determine the focus of the marketing will be done. The market segmentation is important to understand the hospital’s target market. The aim of implement hospitals market segmentation is to focus more on marketing in order to set priorities in serving patients optimally. Market segmentation has not been analyzed and documented. The market segmentation is done by classifying patients based on geographic segmentation, demographic, psychographic and behavioral patient's identity using the form contained in the registration section. Data inputted using a computer program to obtain a predetermined percentage segmentation then analyzed.

Abstract

The infant mortality rate is the important things to measure health status and achievement of Sustained Development Goals (SDGs). It can be used to audit the cause of perinatal death and used to planning program to prevent the death. In addition, data on perinatal deaths must be recorded in terms of population administration. The problem is underreported perinatal death so that data not valid. This is because many government stakeholder such as Health Office, Administrative Village, Family Empowerment and Welfare (PKK), and the Information and Communication Department has reported and recorded perinatal death themself but not integrated. This study aims to develop a concept of integrated perinatal death report and record. This research is qualitative research with following steps advocation, initial assessment, and development models through interview, observation, and Focus Group Discussion methods. The result of this study is existing condition and concept model that can integrate of perinatal death record and reported. The concept model in Semarang City, Indonesia can be done in two ways. First, data comes from the Health Office (SIM-KIA). Second, data comes from Administrative Village and Family Empowerment and Welfare (PKK). All of the data forwarded to the Integrated Data Integration System (SIDADU) in Information and Communication Service in Semarang City. To support the validity of data, the Health Office should identify all public and private health facilities related to perinatal care. The local government should release Circular Letter concerning the notification of services regarding the recording and reporting of perinatal deaths in Administrative Village.

Abstract

This study is a mixed method research, a combination of quantitative and qualitative research methods with cross sectional study design. Quantitative research methods to describe the implementation of QMS ISO 9001: 2008. The bureaucratic reform policy QMS ISO 9001: 2008 in health centers, a strong reason to rehabilitate physical structures all health centers. Aspects of the process: Organizational Management Aspect outcomes: The quality objectives is an indicator of success, implementation of QMS ISO 9001: 2008. QMS ISO improves customer satisfaction, the implementation of QMS ISO 9001: 2008 in health centers 48% criteria, the criteria of no less than 8%. The big difference in perceptions of health centers and the Department of Health. in health centers already meet the requirements of clause 8 in the implementation of QMS ISO 9001: 2008.

Abstract

The establishment of Puskesmas (Community Health Centers) aims to make it possible for communities to get quality services that are affordable for all levels of society. The things that are necessary to be improved in the services of Puskesmas are the quality and access. This study aimed at predicting the factors influencing satisfaction and loyalty of BPJS patients of the primary level health facility. This research was an explanatory study aiming at determining whether there is an influence of management information system and doctor competence on patient satisfaction and patient loyalty. The results showed that the management information system (SIM) of the patients had a positive and significant influence on the BPJS patients’ satisfaction; doctor competence had a positive and significant influence on BPJS patients’ satisfaction; the management information system (SIM) of the patients had a positive and significant influence on the BPJS patients’ loyalty to the primary level health facility in Banjarnegara; doctor competence had a positive and significant influence on the BPJS patients’ loyalty, and patient satisfaction had a positive and significant effect on the BPJS patients’ loyalty to the primary level health facility in Banjarnegara.
