Abstract

Traditional patrol music is a form of folk music that has developed within communities in East Java and holds significant cultural, social, and educational value. However, in elementary music education, patrol music has not been optimally utilized as instructional material that encourages students’ creativity. Learning practices tend to be reproductive and focus on imitation of traditional forms. This study aims to develop creative music–based instructional materials for traditional patrol music to enhance students’ engagement, creativity, and musical understanding. The research employed a research and development approach conducted with elementary school students of SDN Babatan IV Surabaya as the research subjects. The development stages included needs analysis, instructional design, material development, and validation. The results indicate that creative music–based instructional materials enable students of SDN Babatan IV Surabaya to actively explore rhythm, sound, and collaborative music-making, transforming patrol music into a contextual, participatory, and adaptive learning medium. This approach also contributes to the dynamic preservation of traditional music through meaningful learning experiences at the elementary school level

Abstract

The Quran, as the holy scripture of the Islamic community, not only provides spiritual guidance but also emphasises the importance of justice in various aspects of life. The research method employed in this study is a qualitative approach with thematic analysis. Several verses of the Quran elucidate the concept of justice, one of which is found in Surah An-Nisa, verse 129, which explains that although a husband may have multiple wives, absolute justice among them is challenging to achieve. The intrinsic nature of Allah as the Most Just reflects that His justice is not influenced by external factors or specific conditions. The active attributes of divine justice focus on Allah's actions and decisions in governing human life. In the context of social relations, justice encompasses equal treatment of all individuals regardless of their background, social status, or wealth. The divine justice taught in the Quran serves not only as a moral guideline but also as a foundation for the formulation of public policies and improved social systems. It is essential for Muslims to continuously explore and comprehend the principles of justice in the Quran and to apply them in their daily lives.

Abstract

Work motivation is a crucial aspect in the professional world; it is not solely viewed from a material perspective but also from a spiritual one. The primary aim of this writing is to analyze and explain how Hadith can serve as a source of work motivation for individuals, particularly for Muslims. The method employed in this research is a literature review. This analysis is conducted using a descriptive-analytical approach, where the meanings and characteristics of work motivation found in the Hadith of Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) are examined and studied thematically. Work motivation consists of three main components: needs, drives, and goals. There are five factors that influence work motivation from the perspective of Hadith, namely intention, a conducive environment, appreciation and recognition, understanding the importance of work, and spiritual and emotional support. In the context of work motivation, there are several Hadiths that can be referenced. One well-known Hadith is the one narrated by Al-Bukhari and Muslim regarding intention in work. The principle of work in Islam is that it is not merely an activity to earn income but also a form of worship that holds spiritual value. The principles of work in Islam, derived from the study of Hadith, encompass good intentions, honesty, hard work, and social responsibility. Through the study of Hadith, we can discover various values that can motivate individuals to work better, and by applying the values contained within these Hadiths, it is hoped that individuals can enhance their productivity and performance.

Abstract

This study examines the role of the ASEAN Digital Masterplan 2025 (ADM 2025) in shaping Indonesia’s digital economic growth during the 2021–2024 period by focusing on its function as a regional digital governance framework. Using a qualitative approach based on document analysis and in-depth interviews, this research finds that ADM 2025 influences Indonesia’s digital economy through policy alignment mechanisms, particularly in the areas of digital infrastructure development, digital literacy enhancement, public service digitalization, and the strengthening of the digital MSME ecosystem. The findings demonstrate that ADM 2025 contributes to Indonesia’s digital economic growth by promoting regulatory coordination and institutional coherence between ASEAN-level commitments and national digital policies. Nevertheless, challenges remain, including unequal internet access, limited digital literacy among certain social groups, cybersecurity vulnerabilities, and dependence on foreign digital platforms. This study contributes to the literature by moving beyond a descriptive assessment of regional digital policy and providing an analytical understanding of how regional digital governance frameworks shape national digital economic development.

Abstract

Water demand for the agricultural sector in island regions continues to increase in line with population growth and land-use intensification (Kodoatie, 1996; Todd & Mays, 2005). One sustainable alternative for water supply is the utilization of groundwater, particularly deep aquifers. This study aims to identify the potential and characteristics of subsurface aquifers using the geoelectrical resistivity method with a Schlumberger configuration in Bungayya Village, Bontomatenne District, Selayar Islands Regency, South Sulawesi Province. Measurements were conducted at a single vertical electrical sounding (VES) point (GL_01) with a maximum current electrode spacing of AB/2 up to 100 m. The inversion results indicate two main subsurface layers: a surface limestone layer with resistivity values ranging from 126 to 1515.1 Ωm at depths of 0–15 m, and a sandstone layer of the Walanae Formation with resistivity values of 10–126 Ωm at depths of 15–70 m. The sandstone layer is interpreted as a deep aquifer capable of storing and transmitting freshwater with sufficient discharge for agricultural irrigation. Based on the interpretation results, groundwater drilling is recommended to a depth of approximately 70 m. The findings demonstrate that the geoelectrical resistivity method is effective as a preliminary approach for groundwater exploration, particularly in areas characterized by carbonate and sedimentary geological conditions (Telford et al., 1990; Loke, 2000).

Abstract

The quality of radiographic images is the accuracy of the patient's anatomical representation on the radiographic image. To produce high-quality images, the most important characteristics of radiographic image quality are spatial resolution, contrast resolution, noise, and artifacts. An increase in tube current causes a decrease in noise value. In radiographic imaging, noise is influenced by several factors including the strength of the tube current. Basically the tube current chosen is at the highest mAs that the aircraft can achieve, so that the exposure time can be as short as possible, so as to prevent image blurring caused by movement. This study aims to analyze the influence of mAs varieties on noise on radiographic images. This research was carried out using an experimental study method at Siti Rahma Padang Hospital, on May 27, 2024. Using the phantom pelvis of Baiturrahmah University Padang to obtain the results of the description of five different variations of mAs: mAs 8, mAs 10, mAs 12, mAs 14, mAs 16, with a tube voltage of 70. The data was processed using SPSS using the ANOVA One Way test, in the form of a table. Producing a calculated F value of 4.673 which shows a significant relationship between the strength of the tube current and noise with ap value of 0.002 (< 0.05). This study concluded that there was a significant influence between the results of mAs variation on noise.

Abstract

Radiation protection is a measure taken to reduce the harmful effects of radiation on health due to radiation exposure. The effectiveness of radiation protection in a room is an important factor in ensuring the safety of patients, healthcare workers, and the surrounding environment from unwanted radiation exposure. Field observations in the CT-Scan room are directly adjacent to other installations such as the NICU, chemodialysis, polyclinics, and patient waiting rooms. This study aims to evaluate the effectiveness of the walls, doors, and leaded glass of the CT-Scan room in blocking radiation according to national radiation safety standards. The study used an experimental quantitative method in the CT-Scan room of the Radiology Installation of RSI Siti Rahmah Padang on August 30, 2025 using a CT-Scan machine, a raysafe unforns X2 multimeter measuring instrument, a building meter measuring instrument and an air phantom. Measurement of the radiation dose rate at 12 different points, representing all components of the room structure, using exposure factors for the cranium, namely 130kv and 240 mAs. Measurements were made on the wall area leading to the surgical polyclinic, NICU room, control panel room, hemodialysis room, lead glass, and the main door, both from the inside and outside of the room. The effectiveness of radiation absorption was recorded in the range of 99.82% to 99.99%, with radiation passed less than 0.2% at all measurement points. The walls covered with 26 cm brick and 2 mm lead, as well as the doors and lead glass, were proven to meet and exceed the minimum effectiveness limit of 90% as stipulated by BAPETEN and the Indonesian Minister of Health Regulation. Thus, it can be concluded that the walls, doors, and lead glass of the CT-Scan room are effective in blocking radiation and have met radiation safety standards.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the process of mentoring elementary school teachers in designing in-depth learning plans through the integration of Learning Outcomes (CP) and Learning Objective Flow (ATP) and analyze its impact on improving the quality of learning plans. The background of the study is based on the finding that some teachers still experience difficulties in systematically integrating CP and ATP, resulting in lesson plans tending to be administrative in nature and less supportive of in-depth learning. The study used a descriptive qualitative approach with a mentoring-based service model implemented at SDN 095148 Pulo Siborna. Data collection techniques included observation, interviews, and documentation studies of lesson plans before and after mentoring. The mentoring process was carried out through the stages of needs identification, strengthening conceptual understanding, design practice, and reflection and evaluation. The results showed that mentoring was able to improve teachers' understanding of the integration of CP and ATP and produce more structured, contextual, and coherent lesson plans. In addition, there was a shift in teachers' mindsets from an administrative orientation to a competency-based approach and in-depth learning. Thus, teacher mentoring is an effective strategy in supporting the implementation of the Independent Curriculum in a more meaningful and sustainable manner
