Abstract

Background: Jean Watson nurse theorist and nursing professor known for the “Philosophy and Theory of Transpersonal Care.” She has also written many books, including Nursing: The Philosophy and Science of Caring. Watson's studies of caring have been integrated into education and patient care in nursing schools and healthcare facilities around the world. Jean Watson was born Margaret Jean Harmon and raised in Welch, West Virginia, Watson is known for seeing the unified science of caring, examining the role of the nurse through the lens of a worldview of harmony, belonging, and connection. In caring theory, values, knowledge and caring practices are integrated with the healing process from within and the patient's life experiences, thus requiring the art of healing-care and a framework called carative factors. These factors are complementary, but different from curative factors. Curative is developed by doctors, while carative is developed by nurses. Caring behavior can determine the moral values ??of nurses. In addition, caring behavior in nursing care can determine the level of client satisfaction in receiving health services. It can be said that caring is a wholehearted attitude or behavior given by a nurse to a client with a sense of care, attention and attention to the patient's emotions to create a therapeutic relationship. This causes patients to feel comfortable, safe and relieved because of the reduction in stress they feel due to suffering from an illness.

Abstract

The studies that Beck used in developing the theory of postpartum depression led to qualitative methods, Beck also cited various philosophical and theoretical sources to develop his knowledge. The phenomenon used in the first study was how women experience postpartum depression, using the Colaizzi (1978) approach. Furthermore, Beck used the theoretical basis of the philosophical and theoretical views of Glaser (1978), Glaser and Strauss (1967), and Hutchinson (1986), all of whom made important contributions to the evolution of basic nursing theory. Through the results of Beck's study and its consistency with feminist theory. The results of his study concluded the importance of understanding pregnancy, the birth process, and the process of raising children according to women's views (Beck, 2002). In addition, the results of Beck's study concluded that the birth process has a sustainable impact in the context (medical, social, economic) and a mother's reactions to that process and the process of parenting is shaped by those responses.

Abstract

According to the Indonesian Ministry of Health (2020), Corona virus (CoV) is a large family of viruses that can cause illness ranging from mild, moderate to severe symptoms. Corona virus is zoonotic (transmitted between animals and humans). Research says that SARS-CoV is transmitted from civet cats (civetcats) to humans and MERS-CoV from camels to humans. Platelets are an important component in the hemostatic response which are closely related to other hemostatic components (NugrahaGilang, 2017). Platelets were obtained from the cytoplasm of megakaryocytes (80-150 m in size). D-dimer is a fibrin degradation product formed during the degradation of blood clots by fibrinolysis. Elevated D-dimer in the blood is a marker of suspected thrombosis. Platelet examination using the Direct method. Analysis of platelet levels with an average of 379.231.6 cells/permicroliter of blood. The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between platelet levels and D-dimer in Covid-19 patients. The conclusion of this study is that there is a relationship between the results of the examination of platelet levels with D-dimer levels, if the platelet levels increase, the D-dimer levels increase.
