Abstract

Background: The impact of anemia in adolescents can be in the form of decreased immunity, concentration, learning achievement fitness & activity, if not properly addressed, when pregnant continues to become pregnant women with anemia, at risk of giving birth to premature babies or LBW and giving birth to the next generation of stunting which is not only short but has low intelligence (IQ), psychological disorders and is at risk of diabetes, hypertension, and other chronic diseases in the future. Prevention of anemia can be started from increasing adolescent hemoglobin levels using red guava juice which in 100 grams contains 228.3 grams of vitamin C which can help iron absorption up to 30%. Objective: to determine the effect of giving Red Guava Juice on increasing hemoglobin levels in adolescent girls. Method: using Quasi Experiment with the research design used is two group pre test- post test design. Giving Red Guava Juice with a dose of 100 grams taken 1x a day for 7 days and giving health care to the control group. The number of 30 respondents was divided into 2 groups and the data were analyzed using the Independent Sample T Test statistical test. Results: the test results showed p=0.00 <0.05 which means Ha is accepted. Conclusion: There is an effect of giving Red Guava Juice on increasing Hemoglobin levels in adolescent girls at SMA Negeri 1 Seputih Agung Lampung Tengah.

Abstract

Diabetes Mellitus (DM) is a metabolic disorder characterized by high blood sugar levels due to insulin deficiency. Factors causing Diabetes Mellitus (DM) are lifestyle which includes diet, lack of exercise, monitoring blood sugar, and medication. Most people do not realize that they have DM and only find out when they experience severe symptoms. To avoid this, the k-Nearest Neighbor (KNN) method can be used to predict the possibility of developing diabetes. The aim of this research is to classify diabetes mellitus using the K-Nearest Neighbor (KNN) method and make people more aware of the risk of disease through healthy lifestyle changes. Data received from the Dharma Husada Clinic is categorized based on researchers' needs, including age, BMI, insulin, skin thickness, glucose, diabetes, genetics, and insulin. This research was carried out in three main steps: dataset input, preprocessing, and evaluation. The first stage is data analysis which begins by entering a dataset to train and test the model, where each data element has certain characteristics (attributes) and classes. Preprocessing steps include training data generation and data cleaning, which includes sanitization, lowercase, normalization, stopwords, stemming, and tokenizing. The final step is evaluating. Evaluation includes building an evaluation model and measuring the level of accuracy, building a predictive model, and saving the model. This research shows that the K-Nearest Neighbor (KNN) method can be used to classify diabetes mellitus (DM), but especially in a small dataset consisting of 245 dates and 8 attributes it is not accurate for patients aged 30 years. . A k value that is too small can cause overfitting, and a k value that is too large can cause underfitting. However, if the amount of data is small, the choice of k can have a large impact.

Many young women experience menstrual problems, one of which is dysmenorrhoea. Dysmenorrhea is caused by increased production of endometrial alpha prostaglandin, resulting in dysrhythmic uterine contractions and increased uterine muscle tone which results in uterine ischemia. Dysmenorrhea treatment can be done using pharmacological and non-pharmacological methods. Pharmacologically, menstrual pain can be treated with medication. Meanwhile, non-pharmacologically, menstrual pain can be treated with dysmenorrhoea exercises Objective: This study aims to determine the effect of dysmenorrhea exercise on dysmenorrhea in young women at junior high school 23 Bandar Lampung. Method: Pre-experiment with one group pretest – posttest design, technique simple random sampling, sample of 26 teenagers, questionnaire instrument Numeric Rating Scale and Wilcoxon test. Research result: Before carrying out the Dysmenorrhea exercise, all respondents experienced pain which was quite disruptive to their activities during Dysmenorrhea, whereas after implementing the Dysmenorrhea exercise, the majority of respondents experienced a decrease in the level of pain. Test results Wilcoxon shows the Asymp value. Sig. (2-tailed) value <0.05, which means there is an influence of Dysmenorrhea Exercise on reducing Dysmenorrhea pain in young women. Conclusion: There is an effect of dysmenorrhea gymnastics on dysmenorrhea in adolescent girls.

Abstract

Pregnant women are one of the populations at risk of contracting Human Immunodeficiency Virus (HIV), Syphilis, and Hepatitis B. The risk of mother-to-child transmission for HIV/AIDS is 20%-45%, for Syphilis is 69-80%, and for Hepatitis B it is more than 90%. Transmission of HIV, Syphilis and Hepatitis B from mother to child results in morbidity, disability and death. The aim of this research is to determine the relationship between pregnant women's knowledge about Triple Elimination and compliance with examinations at the Tampo Health Center, Banyuwangi Regency in 2023. The research design is a correlation analytical cross sectional study approach, the population is pregnant women in the 2023 Tampo Health Center working area, totaling 390 pregnant women using an accidental sampling technique. . The number of samples taken was 66 pregnant women. Statistical tests use Chi-Square and Mann-Whitney U with a significance level of 0.05 with SPSS. The research results showed that most of the pregnant women's knowledge about Triple Elimination was in the sufficient category, namely 36 respondents (54.5%), and compliance with the Triple Elimination examination at the Tampo Community Health Center was mostly in the Obedient category, namely 48 respondents (72.7%). There is a relationship between pregnant women's knowledge about Triple Elimination and compliance with examinations at the Tampo Health Center in 2023 (p-Value 0.023 < 0.05). The results of the research can provide additional knowledge so that in the future, if you become pregnant again, you can comply with the Triple Elimination examination and inform pregnant women to carry out the Triple Elimination examination.

Abstract

A fracture is an interrupted occurrence of bone continuity determined by the type and extent of the injury. One of his treatments is Open Reduction and Internal Fixation (ORIF). A common problem in post-operative patients is pain, so it requires non-pharmacological implementation of one of which is compressed ice gel pack. To find out the results of ice gel pack compression therapy in post-operative patients. The application was performed with a descriptive method of case study to 2 respondents with a diagnosis of fracture and performed the operation Open Reduction and Internal Fixation (ORIF) performed 6 hours after the operation for 1x within 10-15 minutes. Based on the results of the application already performed there was a decrease in the intensity of pain in postoperative patients. ice gel pack compression therapy can be used as one of the non-pharmacological techniques or independent intervention in post-operative patients in particular on the action Open Reduction and Internal Fixation (ORIF)

This is a quantitative study with a quasi-experimental design using approach one group pretest-posttest design without control group. The total sample consisted of 66 third trimester pregnant women, selected using a purposive sampling technique. The Wilcoxon test results showed a significant effect of warm compresses and peppermint aromatherapy on reducing pubic symphysis pain, with a p-value of 0.000 (≤ 0.05). Warm compresses and peppermint aromatherapy can be used as nursing interventions to reduce pubic symphysis pain in third trimester pregnant women.
