Abstract

The rapid advancement of digital technology has significantly influenced the field of personality assessment. This study explores the integration of big data into personality assessment practices and aims to identify both the challenges and opportunities that arise from this development. A systematic literature review was conducted, drawing from peer-reviewed journals, research reports, and recent case studies in the domains of psychology, data science, and human resource management. The findings reveal that big data allows for the continuous, real-time analysis of individual behavior patterns, enabling personality traits to be assessed in a more dynamic and contextual manner. This approach improves the precision and scalability of traditional assessment methods. However, several challenges persist, including concerns related to algorithmic bias, data privacy, informed consent, and ethical data governance. The study concludes that while big data has the potential to revolutionize personality assessment by making it more adaptive, predictive, and efficient, its implementation must be accompanied by robust ethical standards and regulatory frameworks. These safeguards are essential to ensure fairness, transparency, and accountability in the interpretation and use of personality data in both clinical and organizational settings.

Abstract

Career choice is a crucial process in shaping students' future, especially at the lower secondary (SMP) and upper secondary (SMA/SMK) education levels. This study aims to provide an overview of students' career choices across Garut Kota District. Based on data collected from 794 respondents, it was found that 55% of SMP students have a social personality type and choose community service fields at 65%. Similarly, 64% of SMA students have a social personality type, with 75% choosing community service fields, and 67% of SMK students share the same personality type, with 77% opting for careers in community service. Factors such as external pressure, lack of career exploration, and limited understanding of interests and talents were identified as major obstacles. John L. Holland's RIASEC theory, which links personality types to work environments, was identified as a useful approach to help students understand their potential and align it with suitable career paths. This study recommends the importance of career guidance services at the SMP and SMA/SMK levels to map interests and talents while providing proper career direction. Such efforts can help students make well-informed career decisions that align with their individual potential.

Abstract

Digital transformation in higher education requires the availability of adaptive learning facilities, including digital libraries that support students’ independent learning. This study aims to evaluate the development and implementation of a digital library in fostering independent learning at Pepabri University Makassar using the CIPP (Context, Input, Process, Product) evaluation model. In addition, the study assesses the effectiveness of system implementation in terms of student engagement and its integration into the learning process. A qualitative research approach was employed, with data collected through in-depth interviews, observations, and documentation involving students, lecturers, librarians, and academic managers. The findings reveal that, from the context dimension, the development of the digital library has not been based on a systematic analysis of user needs. From the input aspect, although infrastructure is available, it is not sufficiently supported by user competencies or integrative institutional policies. In the process dimension, the digital library has not been formally integrated into the curriculum or learning activities. From the product perspective, system utilization remains incidental and has not significantly enhanced students’ independent learning. Student engagement with the digital library is also relatively low due to limited guidance, training, and the absence of formal policies encouraging system integration into teaching practices. This study recommends conducting periodic needs assessments, strengthening digital literacy training, integrating digital libraries into course learning plans (RPS), and implementing continuous evaluation to improve system effectiveness. The findings contribute to strengthening digital library governance as a strategic instrument for independent learning in the digitalization era of higher education.

Abstract

The crisis of adolescent character in the digital era has become an increasingly complex issue along with the rapid development of technology, information globalization, and changes in social interaction patterns. Although many studies have highlighted the moral issues of the younger generation, studies that specifically examine the role of Islamic Religious Education (PAI) in integrating religious values with digital ethics are still limited. This study aims to analyze the strategic role of PAI in shaping the character of Muslim adolescents who are moral, integrity, and wise in using technology in the midst of the challenges of the digital era. This research uses a qualitative approach with a literature study design (library research) that focuses on the analysis of various scientific articles, books, and previous research results that are relevant to the themes of Islamic education, morality, and adolescent social behavior. The results of the study show that adolescent character crises are characterized by decreased spiritual awareness, weakened social empathy, increased consumptive behavior, and dependence on technology which leads to moral degradation. In this context, PAI has a fundamental role in overcoming these various symptoms through strengthening spiritual values, internalizing morals, teacher examples, and Islamic digital literacy. The implementation of technology adaptive PAI not only instills religious understanding cognitively, but also forms ethical awareness and moral responsibility in the use of digital media. This research contributes theoretically to the development of contextual and integrative Islamic education concepts, and practically provides a new direction for educational institutions to design curricula and learning strategies that are relevant to the challenges of the digital era. The conclusion of this study emphasizes that the transformation of PAI pedagogy is a necessity so that religious education not only functions as a transmission of spiritual values, but also as a means of forming digital characters based on Islamic values, so as to be able to give birth to a young generation who are religious, noble, and ethical in the virtual and real world.

Abstract

The rapid advancement of Artificial Intelligence (AI) has transformed the paradigm of modern management toward a data-driven, intelligent, and adaptive system. This study explores the optimization strategy of AI-based management through the concept of data-driven governance, emphasizing the integration of technology, human resources, and organizational culture. AI no longer serves merely as an operational tool but as a strategic instrument in data processing, analysis, and decision-making. By utilizing AI, organizations can enhance efficiency, accuracy, and innovation while fostering transparency and accountability in managerial processes. The discussion highlights three key dimensions of AI-based management optimization: strengthening human resource capacity, enhancing media literacy, and developing ethical data governance. These dimensions ensure that the application of AI aligns with organizational values and social responsibility. However, challenges remain, including algorithmic bias, data security, and the need for structural and cultural readiness. Therefore, the success of AI implementation depends on the establishment of a mature digital ecosystem supported by ethical governance and continuous human adaptation. In conclusion, AI-based management optimization represents a transformative shift from traditional managerial practices to intelligent governance, balancing technological progress with human values to achieve sustainable, transparent, and competitive organizational systems.
