Abstract

The guidance and counseling program is a design carried out over some time, it is divided into annual programs and semester programs.  In this program, there is one service called responsive service, this service must be provided immediately to students to avoid any difficulties in achieving their developmental tasks.  The study is based on the limited number of stakeholders in schools who rarely play an active role in performing the programs, which causes the service implementation not to work effectively, including the implementation of responsive services to students.  This study aims to determine the role of each stakeholder at the school in optimizing responsive services through collaboration with counseling teachers.  This research uses a qualitative method with library research which is used for collecting the data and information through a wide range of literature related to the research. The results of the research are (1) the Definition, objectives, and principles of guidance and counseling; (2) the Definition and objectives of the guidance and counseling program; (3) the Definition, objectives, focus, and responsive service strategy; (4) The role of stakeholders in optimizing responsive services through collaboration with guidance and counseling teachers.

Abstract

This research aims to explore the role of social support in reducing stress among pre-adolescent children, focusing on the contributions of family, peers, and schools. Utilizing a quantitative approach, data were collected through questionnaires administered to 200 pre-adolescent children aged 9 to 12 years. The findings reveal that social support from family significantly correlates with lower stress levels, emphasizing the importance of emotional backing from parents. Additionally, peer support was found to be crucial, as children with strong friendships demonstrated better-coping mechanisms in stressful situations. School support, characterized by teachers’ attentiveness and a positive school environment, also played a vital role in mitigating stress among children. Moreover, demographic factors such as socioeconomic status and gender influenced the extent of social support received, with children from lower socioeconomic backgrounds reporting less access to support networks. The study highlights the critical need for parents, educators, and policymakers to foster supportive environments that can enhance children's emotional resilience and well-being. These findings contribute to the existing literature on child development and stress management, offering practical recommendations for improving the mental health of pre-adolescent children.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the phenomenon that occurs due to the lack of academic resilience in students, making students uncomfortable living in Islamic boarding schools and causing stress in the students. This study aims to describe the general picture of academic resilience in students in the Parungponteng sub-district. The characteristics of students who have moderate academic resilience are being able to see stressful events as positive stressors for development and having strong psychological resilience. The characteristics of students who have high academic resilience are being able to survive in facing their academic challenges and seeing stressful events as positive stressors for development, and the characteristics of students who have low academic resilience are being easily stressed, not strong against existing pressure, lack of self-confidence in their academic abilities and less resilient to challenges that arise from their friendship and social environment. The research conducted on the general picture of academic resilience in students in the Parungponteng sub-district is in the high category. Based on the results shown, the highest value is in the medium category with a percentage score of 76.58% with a frequency of 170 students, and academic resilience in students in the Parungponteng sub-district whose category high is 22.52% with a frequency of 50 students. And a score of 0.90% in the low category with a frequency of 2 students. The number of samples in this study was N = 222. This research method uses descriptive statistics, namely statistics used to analyze data by describing or depicting data that has been collected as it is without intending to make conclusions that apply to the public or generalizations.

Data collection was carried out using non-probability incidental sampling techniques and data analysis methods with the calculation of mean, standard deviation, percentage, and sex difference tests through SPSS 24.00. The results showed that the resilience of grade XI students at SMA Negeri 2 Tasikmalaya tended to be in the moderate category, with an average score of 51%, 49% in the optimal category, and there was no resilience in the not optimal category (0%). This study shows that resilience in grade XI students at SMA Negeri 2 Tasikmalaya is at the highest percentage in the moderate category. Abstract

The low welfare of teachers is a big task for Islamic Education Institutions, especially Islamic boarding schools, to find solutions to improve their welfare. This research aims to measure the effectiveness of the health insurance and social security programs at the Mambaul Ulum Bata-Bata Pamekasan Islamic boarding school. The program's effectiveness is seen using program evaluation carried out using the CIPP (context, input, process, and product) model developed by Staflebeam.  The sources of research data are the person in charge of the program (Madamrosiyah Board of the Mambaul Ulum Bata-Bata Islamic boarding school), school principals, and teachers. The total population is 536 teachers. The sample was taken as 20% of the population, namely 107 people. Primary data was taken using questionnaires and interviews. The questionnaire instrument was tested with construct validity using correlation and Alpha Cronbach. Interviews were conducted with 3 school principals and 6 teachers divided into 3 male and 3 female teachers. Secondary data is obtained by documentation. The research results show that the program has been running effectively and on target. The aside (teachers) have felt the benefits of the program and are satisfied with the existence of this health insurance program because indirectly they worry that if they get sick and have to pay a lot of money can be covered by Islamic boarding school health insurance. The settlement amount is up to 70%. Therefore, this program is recommended for Islamic educational institutions such as Islamic boarding schools to improve their welfare in terms of health insurance. Findings also show that teachers who have received assistance tend to respond positively to the program compared to teachers who have never received assistance.

Abstract

The impact of flipped classroom learning on student learning outcomes is investigated in this study. The research technique is a scientific approach to data collection that aims to accomplish a particular objective. The quasi-experimental research approach will be the methodology employed in this investigation. The following are the variables in this study: The study's independent variable (free variable) is the learning model, specifically the traditional and flipped classroom models. In this study, student learning outcomes are the dependent variable (bound variable). The t-test and One-Way Anova are two examples of the quantitative analysis techniques used in data analysis to process field-sourced data using normality, homogeneity, and hypothesis tests. The significance value table (sig.) illustrates that the post-test value data in the social studies topic is normally distributed, as determined by the computations above. The post-test results indicate a value higher than 0.05, specifically 0.091 in the experimental class and 0.055 in the control class. According to the test requirements, t table = 1.99 and t count = 6.62. As a result, at a level of 0.05, 6.62>1.99, rejecting H0 and accepting Ha. It is possible to conclude that classes using the flipped classroom learning approach have a higher average value on the post-test of geography learning outcomes than classes utilizing the conventional method. With a 5% confidence level (α=0.05), the calculation of F count> F table (45.06> 3.97) indicates that there is a difference in the average value of learning outcomes (there is an influence on learning outcomes). Ho is rejected, while Ha is approved. It is possible to draw the following conclusion from the data analysis results: "The flipped classroom learning paradigm has a positive and significant influence on learning outcomes.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the implementation of Islamic values in the education curriculum in Indonesia and identify challenges and strategies to improve the effectiveness of the integration of these values. This research uses a descriptive qualitative method with data collection techniques through interviews, participant observation, and analysis of curriculum documents at various levels of education, such as elementary schools, junior high schools, senior high schools, and madrasah. The results showed that Islamic values have been integrated through Islamic Religious Education (PAI) subjects, religion-based extracurricular activities, and daily habituation in the school environment. Values such as honesty, discipline, responsibility, and social care are taught with various approaches, including storytelling, discussion, and hands-on practice methods. However, this study also found some challenges, such as limited learning time, varied teacher competencies, and the influence of technology and the social environment. To overcome these challenges, the proposed strategies include teacher competency training, a more integrative curriculum update, strengthening extracurricular activities, and increasing collaboration between schools, parents, and communities. With the implementation of these strategies, education in Indonesia is expected to be able to produce a generation that is not only academically superior but also has a strong Islamic character as a provision in facing global challenges.
