Abstract

Pembentukan Kelompok Tani Wanita (KWT) bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kesejahteraan dan ketahanan pangan keluarga di Kecamatan Bengkayang. Kegiatan pengabdian ini dilaksanakan untuk memperkuat kerja sama KWT “Tomat Intan” yang sudah terbentuk sejak Tahun 2020. Masih rendahnya kerja sama tim diantara para ibu-ibu dalam mengelola kebun kelompok merupakan permasalahan utama pada kelompok tani ini. Kerja sama tim yang rendah dapat mengancam keberlanjutan KWT ini. Salah satu penyebab rendahnya kerja sama tim adalah kesibukan masing-masing anggota tim, sehingga kebun kelompok tidak dikelola dengan baik. Adapun metode dalam pendampingan ini mulai dari pemberian pemahaman tim akan kerja sama tim melalui dengan metode ceramah, tanya jawab dan evaluasi. Hasil dari pengabdian ini menunjukan bahwa para ibu-ibu dalam kelompok tani wanita Tomat Intan memiliki peningkatan pemahaman mengenai pentingnya kerja sama tim dan menunjukan perilaku kompak dalam melakukan games, serta ditemukannya solusi sementara untuk permasalahan kerja bersama di kebun kelompok

Abstract

The need for product photography is inseparable from promotional activities aimed at attracting potential customers. Generally, creating high-quality product photos requires specialized equipment, technical skills, or the services of a professional photographer—all of which entail significant costs and are often inaccessible to micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs) with limited financial resources. This community service activity aims to train the owner of the MSME “Lek Yati” to create product photos using simple tools and low-cost methods through ChatGPT, an artificial intelligence (AI) platform based on text-to-image generation. The results of the activity show that participants were able to operate AI tools to produce more appealing product images for promotional purposes. This training provides the partner with the opportunity to independently produce promotional materials without being burdened by costs.

Abstract

Amidst the rapid technological developments in the current digital era, the world of education is required to adapt to the use of technology-based media to support the learning process. One potential media to be used is Powtoon, an interactive and engaging animation platform, highly relevant to support language skills activities. In facing the flow of disruptive innovation in the Industrial Revolution 4.0 era, educators need to improve their competencies, especially in the use of innovative and flexible learning technology. This community service activity was carried out through an educational approach, training, and direct mentoring to the participants. The stages of the activity include: 1) Providing education related to digital literacy and an introduction to the Powtoon application, 2) Training in creating animation-based learning content (starting from the planning stage, making practice, to presenting the results), and 3) Mentoring and measuring participants' mastery of the media. The target of this activity is teachers at SD 091537 Hutabayu, Simalungun Regency. The activity was attended by 5 lecturers from various disciplines (Indonesian, PGSD, German, and English) and 1 student from the Indonesian Language Education Study Program. Based on the evaluation results, 90% of participants stated that this activity was very helpful and provided new insights regarding the use of Powtoon in language learning, while another 10% stated that this activity was useful and relevant to current learning needs.

In facing the flow of disruptive innovation in the Industrial Revolution 4.0 era, educators need to improve their competencies, especially in the use of innovative and flexible learning technology. This community service activity was carried out through an educational approach, training, and direct mentoring to the participants. The target of this activity is teachers at SMP Methodist Pematangsiantar. The activity was attended by four Biology education lecturers and 1 student from the Biology Education Study Program. Based on the evaluation results, 90% of participants stated that this activity was very helpful and provided new insights regarding the use of Macromedia Flash 8 in learning at school, especially biology learning, while the other 10% stated that this activity was useful and relevant to current learning needs

Abstract

Internship program skills and quality of student learning internship is an educational strategy to combine theory with practical work in the industrial world. This program aims to analyze the impact of internship programs on the development of skills and improving the quality of learning of students participating in PT Sujaya Processing Food, this internship program is a learning approach that combines theoretical knowledge with practical experience in the industrial work environment. This study shows that student internship programs can effectively develop student skills. This includes technical skills, such as operating production machines, quality control in the food industry, and a better understanding of industrial work systems. In addition, soft skills such as discipline in working, effective communication, and teamwork have increased significantly for students.

Abstract

Internship is a key component of the Merdeka Belajar Kampus Merdeka (MBKM) program, aiming to enhance students’ practical skills in real work environments. This article presents the internship experience of a Management student from Institut Shanti Bhuana in the warehouse logistics division of PT. Intitama Berlian Perkebunan, West Kalimantan. Over a four-month period, the student was involved in inventory receipt, recording, distribution, reporting, and other operational support tasks. The results show improved technical and soft skills, along with a deeper understanding of logistics management within the plantation industry.

Abstract

The internship program is one of the essential activities to enhance students’ competencies through direct field experience in the Merdeka Belajar Kampus Merdeka (MBKM) program. Internship activities at the Investment and One-Stop Integrated Services Office (DPMPTSP) of Bengkayang Regency offer a strategic opportunity to bridge academic theory with real- world practices in the fields of public service and licensing. Through this program, students are able to experience the service process firsthand, improve their communication skills, and develop essential soft skills such as teamwork. The internship also helps cultivate students' character and work ethics. This study aims to evaluate the quality of services at the Public Service Mall (MPP) and explore how students' participation contributes to improving public service delivery. Moreover, MBKM-based internships not only enrich students’ learning experience but also prepare them to face real-world challenges and become more job-ready. The goal of MBKM is to ensure that graduates possess not only academic knowledge but also practical experience to serve as a valuable foundation for their future careers. Student involvement in this program can also contribute to service quality improvements, such as offering input on procedures and enhancing communication between officers and license applicants. MBKM optimizes the development of student competencies through practical experience in collaboration with government and industry, allowing them to simultaneously enhance both soft and hard skills.

Abstract

An innovation can arise from creativity that is based on an understanding of what is happening around us, so that this creative process not only benefits oneself but can also be beneficial to others. Educators in this context, namely teachers in East Java, have their own methods of educating or applying their knowledge in teaching others. They are not confined to the classroom environment but instead utilize expressive media such as written works in novels, poetry anthologies, or educational textbooks. Creativity would be wasted without the means to support it, so Dels Media Publishing in Lamongan City has become one of the solutions to support the creativity of these teachers in publishing their written works. At Dels Media Publishing, the author is trusted as a cover designer, assisting in the book cover creation process while also demonstrating the author's support for the written works of the teachers.

Abstract

Tujuan dari dilaksanakan kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat (PkM) ini adalah untuk memberikan literasi kewirausahaan digital kepada Kelompok Wanita Tani (KWT) binaan UPT Balai Penyuluhan Pertanian Kecamatan Bengkayang. Kegiatan ini dilaksanakan melalui dua tahap utama yaitu pengenalan literasi kewirausahaan digital dan pendampingan pembuatan katalog digital menggunakan aplikasi Canva. Program ini melibatkan KWT Tomat Intan dan KWT Karya Tani dengan fokus pada peningkatan kemampuan pemasaran hasil tani melalui platform digital seperti Facebook dan WhatsApp. Metode pelaksanaan dilakukan melalui presentasi interaktif, diskusi kelompok, dan workshop pembuatan katalog digital. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan peningkatan pemahaman dan keterampilan anggota KWT dalam memanfaatkan teknologi digital untuk pemasaran produk pertanian. Program ini diharapkan dapat meningkatkan daya saing dan kemandirian ekonomi kelompok wanita tani dalam jangka panjang melalui optimalisasi pemasaran digital hasil pertanian mereka.

Abstract

Urgensi pengabdian kepada Masyarakat adalah Bisnis kecil terkadang mengalami kesulitan dalam menggunakan teknologi baru dibandingkan dengan perusahaan besar. Ini berarti mereka mungkin tidak dapat berjalan dengan baik atau menghasilkan banyak uang. Tujuan pengabdian kepada Masyarakat adalah Kami membantu usaha kecil mempelajari cara menggunakan teknologi dengan lebih baik. Kami mengajarkan mereka cara menggunakan komputer dan internet sehingga mereka dapat bekerja dengan lebih mudah dan menjangkau lebih banyak pelanggan. Luaran dari pengabdian kepada Masyarakat adalah artikel jurnal pengabdian kepada Masyarakat serta video. Secara keseluruhan, program pengabdian masyarakat ini menegaskan bahwa digitalisasi adalah kunci strategis bagi UMKM untuk dapat bertahan, bersaing, dan bertumbuh di era modern. Investasi dalam peningkatan kapasitas digital UMKM terbukti merupakan langkah yang efektif untuk mendorong kemandirian ekonomi dan secara langsung berkontribusi pada pertumbuhan ekonomi lokal. Program ini berhasil menjadi katalisator bagi transformasi digital para pelaku UMKM di Kembangan utara dan membuka jalan bagi mereka untuk meraih pasar yang lebih luas serta pendapatan yang lebih baik.
