Jurnal Pendidikan Guru Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Al-Amin adalah Jurnal Pendidikan dan Pembelajaran Dasar berisi tulisan tentang gagasan konseptual, kajian dan penerapan teori, penulisan praktis, dan hasil penelitian pendidikan dan pengajaran sekolah dasar. Abstract

The implementation of the Pancasila Student Profile and Rahmatan lil Alamin (P5-PPRA) project at the Madrasah Ibtidaiyah level plays a strategic role in shaping students’ religious moderation character and entrepreneurial skills from an early age. This study was motivated by the low implementation of tolerance values and limited entrepreneurship skills among Islamic elementary students in Gresik city, despite the implementation of the Merdeka Curriculum. This research aims to describe the implementation of P5-PPRA, analyze its contribution to forming religious moderation and entrepreneurship, and identify supporting and inhibiting factors. This qualitative case study used observation, interviews, and documentation techniques involving teachers and students of three Islamic elementary schools in Gresik. The results indicate that project-based programs such as entrepreneurship fairs, interfaith tolerance activities, community collaboration, and contextual learning successfully improved students’ understanding of religious moderation and basic entrepreneurial skills. Supporting factors include institutional policy and community involvement, while obstacles arise from teacher competence and time limitations. The study concludes that P5-PPRA is effective in developing students’ religious moderation and entrepreneurship when implemented collaboratively and supported by adequate human resources.

Abstract

The Free Nutritious Meal Program is a nutritional intervention aimed at supporting the cognitive development of elementary school-aged children. This study aims to analyze the implementation of the Free Nutritious Meal Program and examine its impact on improving student IQ at SDN 3 Mataram. This study used a quantitative descriptive approach with an ex post facto design. The study population was all 215 students at SDN 3 Mataram, with a sample size of 93 students from grades IV, V, and VI, determined using a purposive sampling technique. Data collection was conducted through questionnaires to measure the implementation of the Free Nutritious Meal Program and a basic IQ test to assess students' cognitive abilities. Data analysis was performed using the Structural Equation Modeling–Partial Least Squares (SEM-PLS) 4.1.1.6 method to simultaneously examine the relationships and influences between variables. The results indicate that the implementation of the Free Nutritious Meal Program at SDN 3 Mataram is categorized as good based on student perceptions, with an average score of 4.16. Meanwhile, students' perceptions of IQ improvement were in the good category, with an average score of 4.09. The results of the inferential analysis using SEM-PLS showed that the Free Nutritional Meal Program had a positive and significant effect on student IQ improvement, with a total effect value of 0.800 and a p-value of 0.000 (<0.05). Based on these findings, it can be concluded that the Free Nutritional Meal Program not only plays a role in meeting students' nutritional needs but also makes a significant contribution to improving their cognitive abilities and intellectual intelligence. Therefore, this program is worthy of being maintained and developed as part of a strategy to improve the quality of human resources starting from elementary school age. Abstract

The study aims to analyze the dynamics of the teaching assistance program in the context of Social Studies (IPS) learning in grade IX at MTs Hizbul Wathan NWDI Semaya. This study uses a qualitative approach with a case study design. Data were collected through observation, interviews, and documentation involving teachers, students, and students participating in the assistance program. The results of the study show that the teaching assistance program has a positive impact on improving the quality of social studies learning, particularly in terms of student participation, variety of teaching techniques, and the development of students' reflective abilities. Students function as learning facilitators who contribute to creating an interactive and collaborative classroom environment, while teachers act as professional mentors who ensure that the learning process follows the established curriculum.

Abstract

This study aims to produce vocabulary board media for the early reading skills of second-grade students at SDN 18Ampenan. This research is a type of Research and Development (R&D) using the ADDIE development model. This research uses 5 stages, namely Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation. The data collection tool used a questionnaire. The results showed that the vocabulary board media developed was highly valid. Based on the assessment by subject matter experts, the criteria for validity were obtained with a percentage of 82%. The assessment by media experts obtained the criteria for high validity with a percentage of 88%. The student response obtained the criteria for high practicality with a percentage of 92.13%.

Abstract

Learning discipline is one of the important characters that needs to be developed from the elementary school level so that students possess responsibility and orderliness in the learning process. However, in reality, some students have not demonstrated optimal learning discipline; therefore, the role of teachers is needed through additional learning activities. This study aims to analyze the implementation of additional learning activities, the role of teachers in shaping students’ learning discipline, and the factors influencing it at SD Yayasan IBA Palembang. This study employed a qualitative approach with a descriptive research design. The research subjects consisted of teachers, third-grade students, and the school principal. Data were collected through observation, interviews, and documentation. Data analysis was conducted through data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing, while data validity was tested using source triangulation and technique triangulation. The results showed that additional learning activities were implemented through three aspects: planning, interaction and supervision, and learning evaluation. The teachers’ roles in these activities included acting as educators, demonstrators, classroom managers, motivators, and evaluators. Supporting factors included students’ self-awareness, school support, and parental support, while inhibiting factors included limited implementation time and the lack of parental assistance at home. Based on the findings, it can be concluded that the consistent and integrated optimization of teachers’ roles in additional learning activities is the main factor in shaping and improving students’ learning discipline in elementary schools.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the implementation of the moving class learning model and the factors influencing learning enthusiasm among early childhood students at TK ‘Aisyiyah Kertek. This research employed a descriptive qualitative approach with data collected through observation, interviews, and documentation. The findings indicate that the moving class model effectively increases children’s learning enthusiasm, as reflected in improved independence, interest, motivation, and active participation in learning activities. A dynamic, varied, and enjoyable learning environment encourages children to be more enthusiastic in learning. The success of the moving class implementation is influenced by internal factors such as mood, interest, potential, and physical and psychological conditions of the children, as well as external factors including teacher roles, facilities and infrastructure, classroom arrangement, teacher creativity, and peer interaction.

Abstract

This study aims to produce a valid, practical, and effective Science Process-based Biology Fundamentals textbook to improve PGMI students' science process skills and cognitive learning outcomes. This study uses Plomp's development research through three stages of activities. The subjects in this study were selected using purposive sampling with a sample of 28 students who took the MI Science Material course in the 2024-2025 academic year. The data collection technique used instruments in the form of science process skills and cognitive learning outcome test sheets, questionnaires, and validation sheets. The data analysis technique examined the improvement in students' science process skills and cognitive learning outcomes based on pretest and posttest scores tested through the N-Gain classical score. The results showed that the developed teaching materials were valid with an average textbook validity of 3.85. In science process skills, the average pretest score was 29.29 and the posttest score was 78.25 with an increase of 69%, and in cognitive learning outcomes, the average pretest score was 49.58 and the posttest score was 75.00 with an increase of 50%, which is considered effective. The overall student response questionnaire results were 94.71% in the very strong category, meaning that the textbook is practical to use. Thus, it can be concluded that the MI Biology Science Process-based Basic Science Concepts textbook is valid, practical, and effective.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the relevance of the verses of the Qur'an to the concept of physics in school learning through a Systematic Literature Review (SLR) approach. This study is motivated by the importance of integration between science and Islamic values ​​in learning to shape students who not only have academic competence, but also religious character and critical thinking skills. The research method uses SLR with reference to the PRISMA stages which include identification, screening, eligibility, and inclusion. Data sources were obtained from the Scopus and Google Scholar databases through the Publish or Perish application with a publication range of 2015–2025. The article selection process resulted in 10 articles that met the inclusion criteria for qualitative descriptive analysis. The results show that the verses of the Qur'an are relevant to various physics concepts, such as the solar system, work and energy, fluid dynamics, force, measurement, light, cosmology, thermodynamics, and the structure of the earth. This relevance is demonstrated through the relationship between natural phenomena in the Qur'an and physics concepts such as gravity, Newton's law, Bernoulli's law, the Big Bang theory, and geology. The integration of Quranic verses into physics learning was implemented through the development of learning media, modules, student worksheets (LKPD), physics magazines, and a contextual approach based on Kauniyah verses. This integration had a positive impact on conceptual understanding, learning motivation, critical thinking skills, and strengthening students' religious character. This study concluded that the integration of Quranic verses into physics learning can be a contextual, holistic, and relevant learning approach to support the development of Islamic values-based science education in schools.

Abstract

This study aims to improve poetry writing skills through the implementation of the Project Based Learning model for fifth-grade students at SD Negeri 1 Tataaran. Based on the results of the initial observations conducted by the researcher, it was found that the students’ poetry writing skills were still low. Out of 24 students, only 5 students or 20.83% achieved learning mastery, while 19 students or 79.17% had not yet achieved mastery.The research method used was Classroom Action Research (CAR), which was conducted in two cycles. This research was carried out through four stages: the planning stage, which involved preparing learning tools, determining project themes, and designing project-based learning activities; the implementation stage, which involved applying the Project Based Learning model in poetry writing activities; the observation stage, which involved observing teacher and student activities during the learning process; and the reflection stage, which involved evaluating the learning outcomes to improve weaknesses in the next cycle. The subjects of this study were 24 fifth-grade students at SD Negeri 1 Tataaran. Data collection techniques were conducted through observations of teacher and student activities as well as poetry writing skill tests. The data analysis technique used was descriptive quantitative analysis. The results of the study showed that in Cycle I, the average student score reached 70 with a learning mastery level of 54.16%. After improvements were made in Cycle II through more intensive guidance, strengthening students’ understanding of the elements of poetry, and increasing student participation in project activities, the average student score increased to 88.96, showing an improvement of 18.96 points or 27.08%. The learning mastery level also increased from 54.16% to 91.66%, showing an improvement of 37.5%. In addition, teacher and student activities during the learning process also improved and reached a very good category. Based on the results of the study, it can be concluded that the implementation of the Project Based Learning model was effective in improving the poetry writing skills of fifth-grade students at SD Negeri 1 Tataaran.

Abstract

This study aimed to develop audio-visual media on the topic of changes in the states of matter for third-grade students at SD GMIM 1 Kakaskasen and to determine the validity, practicality, and feasibility of its use in IPAS learning. This research employed a Research and Development (R&D) method using the 4D model, which consists of the define, design, develop, and disseminate stages. The research subjects were 20 third-grade students of SD GMIM 1 Kakaskasen. Data collection techniques included observation, interviews, validation sheets, teacher and student response questionnaires, and students’ comprehension tests in the form of pre-tests and post-tests. The data were analyzed using quantitative and qualitative descriptive analysis techniques. The results showed that the developed audio-visual media achieved a very high level in the “very feasible” category. The material expert validation reached 98.4%, media expert validation 96.9%, and learning practitioner validation 95.3%, with an overall average of 96.9%, which falls into the very feasible category. In terms of practicality, the teacher response reached 95.3% and the student response reached 89%, with an average of 92%, categorized as very practical. The N-gain calculation result of 0.63 was classified in the moderate category. Based on these findings, it can be concluded that the developed audio-visual media on the topic of changes in the states of matter is considered very feasible, very practical, and suitable for use in IPAS learning for third-grade students at SD GMIM 1 Kakaskasen.
