Abstract

This is a research paper that is presented as a commentary on the study of the researcher (Shahla Fattah Ahmed) that is entitled (The Grammatical Discourse in Al-Zahraween - an applied textual study) . There is no doubt that commenting and examining such a study deserves attention and importance. This is due to the fact that it deals with a miraculous text is still a subject of interpretation, analysis, and consideration of the contents of its contexts and its linguistic and expressive structures. Moreover its power to attract minds and stimulate souls to discover the secret of this miracle.

Abstract

This paper shows that Arabic language learning in Ampel Village, Surabaya has been going on for centuries and has undergone various transformations along with the changing times. In the early days, Arabic language learning was more informal and conducted in mosques and the homes of religious leaders. The curriculum taught was very thick with religious values and Islamic culture. Along with the times, formal educational institutions such as pesantren and schools began to play an important role in the development of Arabic language learning. The curriculum taught is increasingly diverse, covering aspects of linguistics, literature, and Islamic sciences. This research concludes that Arabic language learning in Ampel Village is an integral part of the history and identity of the local community. Despite facing various challenges, the spirit to learn Arabic remains alive among the people of Ampel Village. The results of this study are expected to contribute to the development of an Arabic language learning curriculum that is relevant to the context of the times and enrich the scientific treasury on the history of Islamic education in Indonesia.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effectiveness of the Community-Based and Differentiated Arabic Language Learning Model (CBDALM) within the framework of the Merdeka Curriculum in developing reading and writing skills among elementary school students, particularly in light of the limited implementation of differentiated instruction and project-based learning in this context. The study employed a mixed-method approach using a quasi-experimental design with pre-test and post-test control groups. The sample consisted of elementary students in an Islamic educational settingThe results revealed statistically significant differences in favor of the experimental group in both reading and writing skills, with a large effect size. In addition, there was a noticeable improvement in student engagement through interactive and contextual learning activities. The study contributes by proposing an integrative instructional model that combines differentiated instruction and project-based learning within an Islamic educational context.

Abstract

  يهدف هذا البحث إلى الكشف عن المعنى الدلالي والمعنى الضمني. بعد إجراء بحث باستخدام أساليب التحليل الوصفي ونموذج تحليل المحتوى، توصل الباحث إلى ما يلي: (1) في ترجمة محمد طالب، توجد خمسة تعابير محرمة تتعلق بالجماع في أربع آيات من سورة البقرة. (2) تستخدم ترجمة محمد طالب العديد من تقنيات التعديل والتوسيع اللغوي في ترجمة التعابير المحرمة. بالإضافة إلى ذلك، إذا ما تم تضمين التعبير المحرم في تعبير ذي دلالة ضمنية، فإن ترجمة محمد طالب غالباً ما تستخدم تقنيات التعديل والتوسيع اللغوي. (3) يتضمن المعنى الضمني للجماع في ترجمة محمد طالب دلالات مبتذلة. ؛ Abstract Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengungkap baik secara denotatif maupun konotatif. Setelah dilakukan penelitian dengan menggunakan metode deskriptif analitik dengan model analisis isi (content analysis). Peneliti memperoleh temuan bahwa. (1) Dalam terjemah Muhamad Thalib (MT) terdapat 5 ungkapan tabu yang bertemali dengan persetubuhan terletak di 4 ayat  di surah Al-Baqarah. (2) Terjemahan MT banyak menggunakan teknik penerjemahan modulasi dan amplifikasi linguistik dalam menerjemahkan ungkapan-ungkapan tabu. Selain itu, jika ungkapan tabu itu dikemas dalam ungkapan konotatif, MT sering menggunakan teknik penerjemahan modulasi dan amplifikasi linguistik. (3) Makna konotatif dalam terjemahan persetubuhan MT mengandung makna vulgar.
