Abstract

This community service project was conducted to address the high turnover rate among mobile bakso sales employees at Kedai Bakso Pemuda Spesial Kuah Bening in Malang City. The initiative aimed to enhance workforce stability through a structured Human Resource Audit (HRA) and the development of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) based on job analysis and placement principles. The project applied a participatory action approach, involving both management and employees in diagnosing human resource problems and co-developing solutions. The HRA process included five key stages: problem identification, job analysis, job evaluation, job placement, and SOP formulation, followed by monitoring and review. Data were collected through structured interviews, observations, and performance record analysis. Findings revealed that unclear job boundaries, overlapping responsibilities, and a lack of standardized performance monitoring were the primary causes of employee dissatisfaction and turnover. As a result, four major SOPs were developed covering recruitment and orientation, route management, sales operation, and reporting procedures. These SOPs provided clear task guidelines, transparent performance metrics, and fair compensation mechanisms. Within two months of implementation, employee turnover decreased by 25%, and satisfaction levels improved significantly, especially regarding communication and role clarity. This program demonstrates that human resource auditing, when combined with participatory SOP design, can transform informal MSME labor structures into efficient and sustainable systems. The model offers a replicable framework for other small enterprises that rely on mobile or field-based sales personnel, promoting workforce professionalism and long-term business resilience.

Abstract

The availability of clean water remains a fundamental necessity and a persistent challenge in various rural areas, including Tumpeng Village, Lumajang Regency. This community service project aims to describe the synergy between the community, local government, and the Public Administration Study Program of Universitas Lumajang in community-based water resource management. This program is a collaborative initiative involving Offroader Bersatu Nusantara (OBN), Quran Best Foundation, the Lumajang Regency Government, and Universitas Lumajang, focusing on the construction of artesian wells and social assistance. The methods employed include cross-actor coordination, field surveys and observations, community socialization and education, self-help assistance, participatory approaches, as well as monitoring and evaluation. The results indicate that the constructed artesian wells provide a sufficient discharge of clean water to meet local needs. Beyond the physical impact of improved water access, this initiative has increased public awareness regarding the importance of collective and sustainable water resource management. This multi-actor synergy contributes to strengthening community participation, fostering the spirit of mutual cooperation (gotong royong), and establishing local independence in clean water management. This project is expected to serve as a sustainable model for community service collaboration based on local needs.

Abstract

The Merah Putih Village Cooperative is a village cooperative that has a strategic role in strengthening the people's economy, especially through savings and loan services and trading agricultural products. However, in the digital era, cooperatives still face challenges in the form of low digital literacy of administrators and weak management of member data security. Administrative processes that are still manual and have minimal understanding of cybersecurity risks have the potential to hinder the operational effectiveness and sustainability of cooperatives. This community service activity aims to increase digital literacy and data security awareness for the management of the Merah Putih Village Cooperative through a participatory and collaborative approach. Implementation methods include problem identification, programme dissemination, digital literacy and data security training, application of cloud-based technologies, and post-training mentoring and evaluation. Training includes the use of digital productivity applications, cloud-based document management, as well as the implementation of data security practices such as the use of strong passwords, two-factor authentication and data backup. The results of the activity show a significant increase in the digital competence of the management, the efficiency of cooperative administration, as well as increasing awareness of the importance of member data protection. This activity is the first step in the digital transformation of village cooperatives towards more effective, safe, transparent and sustainable governance, while strengthening synergies between universities, village governments and the community.

Abstract

Advancements in information technology and the evolution of society toward the Society 5.0 era require governments and public organizations to integrate digital technology into public service delivery. One form of e-government implementation in the field of population administration is the application of the Digital Population Identity (IKD). This community service initiative was conducted through assistance in Digital Population Identity services in Kraton Village, Lumajang Regency. This activity serves as an initiative to support the success of IKD registration and activation through a direct approach to citizens requiring population administration services. The assistance-based approach was selected to support the village government in identifying potential users and socialising IKD more effectively. As pioneers of digital transformation in Indonesia, Millennials and Generation Z play a strategic role in driving technology adoption within society. Consequently, this assistance activity involves university students as implementing partners to support government efforts in enhancing the quality of digital-based population administration services. The expected outcomes of this initiative include increased understanding among village government officials regarding IKD socialization, a higher number of citizens activating their Digital Population Identity, and enhanced public awareness regarding the importance of utilizing technology to access population administration services in quick, and efficient way.

Abstract

The purpose of this activity is to develop the website of the Sumberwringin Bondowoso tourist village as a strategy to expand the market and strengthen local identity. The website is designed to be a digital promotional medium that displays the potential of nature, culture, and creative products of the community in a structured and easily accessible manner. The method used includes three stages, namely planning in August 2025 with the identification of village potential and the preparation of content concepts, implementation from September to October 2025 in the form of website structure construction, content filling, and manager training, and evaluation in October 2025 to assess the effectiveness and response of the community and tourists. The results of the activity show that the website has succeeded in expanding the reach of promotion, increasing public involvement in digital content management, and opening up opportunities for cooperation with external parties. The website also strengthens the image of the village as a cultural and nature-based tourist destination. The discussion emphasized that digitalization through websites is an important factor in the development of sustainable tourism. This is in line with previous research which states that the use of information technology is able to increase the competitiveness of tourist destinations and expand the market. Thus, the development of the Sumberwringin tourism village website makes a real contribution to the growth of the creative economy and the sustainability of the village.
