Abstract

Selecting the right security software is a critical decision for cloud infrastructure managers. This research aims to determine the best Intrusion Detection System (IDS) software using the Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP) method. The evaluation process involves several key criteria, such as detection accuracy, resource consumption, ease of implementation, and cost. Several IDS alternatives, including Snort, Suricata, and Zeek, were compared through pairwise comparisons to obtain a priority ranking. The results of this study provide a quantitative basis for decision-making in choosing the most effective security solution. The implementation of AHP proves to be efficient in resolving complex multi-criteria problems in the field of cloud security

Abstract

The selection of outstanding students is an important process in educational institutions to recognize academic and non-academic achievements. However, the process is often carried out subjectively and lacks a systematic approach, which can lead to less accurate and inconsistent results. This study aims to develop a Decision Support System (DSS) using the Simple Additive Weighting (SAW) method to assist in selecting outstanding students at SMA Negeri 1 Padang. The SAW method is applied to evaluate multiple criteria, including academic performance, extracurricular activities, attendance, behavior, and achievements. Each criterion is assigned a weight based on its level of importance, and the alternatives (students) are ranked according to the final score obtained from the SAW calculation. The results of this study indicate that the proposed system is capable of providing objective, transparent, and efficient recommendations in determining outstanding students. The implementation of the DSS is expected to support decision-makers in producing fair and accurate selections

Abstract

Penelitian ini mengkaji fenomena promosi lembaga pendidikan di media sosial dalam perspektif etika komunikasi menggunakan pendekatan filosofis-normatif berbasis studi kepustakaan. Meningkatnya penggunaan platform digital seperti Instagram, TikTok, dan YouTube oleh lembaga pendidikan di Indonesia telah menciptakan lanskap komunikasi baru yang kompleks, di mana batas antara branding yang berbasis nilai dan advertising yang berpotensi manipulatif semakin kabur. Penelitian ini menggunakan dua kerangka teori secara komplementer, yaitu teori simulacra Jean Baudrillard untuk mendiagnosis dan mendeskripsikan fenomena serta teori etika komunikasi Jürgen Habermas sebagai standar normatif evaluatif. Melalui analisis konseptual dan analisis komparatif terhadap literatur yang relevan, penelitian ini menemukan bahwa praktik promosi pendidikan di media sosial cenderung bergerak ke arah produksi simulacra, di mana citra institusi yang dikonstruksi secara digital mengambil jarak dari realitas yang sesungguhnya. Dalam perspektif Habermas, kondisi ini menandai terjadinya pelanggaran terhadap klaim validitas komunikasi yang etis. Penelitian ini menghasilkan framework etika orisinal yang dapat dijadikan panduan untuk membedakan branding yang sah dari advertising yang manipulatif dalam konteks lembaga pendidikan di Indonesia. Kontribusi penelitian ini bersifat teoritis sekaligus praktis bagi pengelola lembaga pendidikan, regulator, dan peneliti selanjutnya

Abstract

Gamifikasi dalam pembelajaran Pendidikan Agama Islam (PAI) telah menarik perhatian banyak peneliti dalam beberapa tahun terakhir, namun belum terdapat framework integratif yang secara khusus mensintesis elemen-elemen gamifikasi berdasarkan nilai-nilai PAI. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk merekonstruksi framework gamifikasi yang berbasis nilai-nilai PAI melalui pendekatan meta-synthesis terhadap 43 artikel empiris yang diterbitkan antara tahun 2021 hingga 2026. Metode yang digunakan adalah meta-synthesis dengan teknik thematic analysis, yang mencakup proses seleksi artikel, pengkodean tematik, dan konstruksi model konseptual. Hasil analisis mengidentifikasi dua belas elemen gamifikasi yang tersebar dalam literatur, yang kemudian disintesis menjadi tiga dimensi utama dalam framework yaitu dimensi motivasi ekstrinsik yang mencakup poin, badge, leaderboard, dan reward, dimensi nilai Islam yang mencakup quest berbasis kisah Islami, narasi, dan pembelajaran kooperatif, serta dimensi teknologi interaktif yang mencakup platform digital, media interaktif, dan kecerdasan buatan. Framework yang dihasilkan dinamakan Framework Gamifikasi PAI Integratif (FGPI) yang menempatkan nilai-nilai Islam sebagai inti desain pembelajaran. Temuan ini memberikan kontribusi teoritis berupa model yang dapat dijadikan acuan pengembangan media pembelajaran PAI berbasis gamifikasi di berbagai jenjang pendidikan di Indonesia

Abstract

This study examines the role of music and cultural arts education in fostering child development within the resource-limited context of Timor-Leste’s basic schools (Ensinu Báziku). Implemented through an integrative literature review design, this research synthesizes global pedagogical frameworks and contextualized educational development data from localized developing school systems. The findings indicate that integrating structured rhythmic activities, vocal choir sessions, and traditional cultural arts significantly enhances young learners' cognitive functions, language acquisition, and socio-emotional competencies. Despite severe infrastructural constraints, teacher shortages, and the absolute lack of formal musical instruments in rural sectors, alternative instructional strategies offer highly viable pedagogical solutions. These include the implementation of low-cost traditional percussion instruments and the creative adaptation of mobile digital audio technologies by generalist educators. The study concludes that art-based disciplines should not be marginalized as secondary subjects. Consequently, this paper highlights critical recommendations for educational authorities to integrate structured music pedagogy into the primary curriculum and provide targeted professional training to support holistic child development
