Abstract

Purpose – This study aims to design and evaluate the Legal Aid Institute (LBH) preventive model at SMA Al-Islah, Sukadiri District, Tangerang Regency, by integrating legal literacy, restorative justice, and social entrepreneurship activities to prevent juvenile crime. Design/Methodology/Approach – This study employs a qualitative descriptive method with students as the main research focus. Data were analyzed using SWOT analysis to evaluate the implementation and development of the LBH entrepreneurship-based preventive model in the school environment. Findings – . The results show that LBH can expand its role from reactive legal assistance to proactive prevention through legal literacy programs and entrepreneurship activities that encourage discipline, responsibility, and social awareness among students. The study identifies nine implementation strategies for the LBH Entrepreneurship Innovation model, including optimizing human resources and volunteers, strengthening partnerships, improving branding and publications, developing internal management systems, diversifying funding sources, conducting regular evaluations, innovating digital advocacy services, improving public education programs, addressing current issues, strengthening legal standing, expanding support networks, and maintaining advocacy ethics.   Originality/Value: This research provides a unique contribution by positioning the Legal Aid Institute not only as a provider of legal assistance but also as a proactive preventive actor through an entrepreneurship-based model. The integration of legal literacy, restorative justice, and social entrepreneurship in a school setting offers a novel framework that can enhance students’ character building and serve as a replicable model for juvenile crime prevention in other educational institutions.

Abstract

Purpose – This study aims to explain the implementation of a legal literacy field school to increase legal awareness among students at SMK Unggulan Al Manar Tajinan and to develop an innovative concept for legal literacy field schools through an action plan. Design/Methodology/Approach – This study employs a descriptive method with a systematic literature review approach as the philosophical basis for developing the field school innovation. The program implementation uses learning methods consisting of Direct Class and Reflective activities, covering 12 lessons that develop three competencies: cognitive, affective, and psychomotor aspects related to legal literacy, legal awareness, communication, entrepreneurship, and innovation. Findings – The results show that the legal literacy field school can instill legal awareness and initiative among vocational high school students. The study proposes an action plan consisting of Planning, Strategizing, Organizing, Actuating, Controlling, and Evaluating (PSOACE) to ensure sustainable implementation and broader community impact in improving legal awareness.   Originality/Value This research provides value by introducing an innovative legal literacy field school model supported by a systematic action plan, integrating cognitive, affective, and psychomotor competencies. It offers a practical framework that can be replicated to enhance legal awareness in broader educational and community contexts.
