Abstract

Maqasid sharia, if traced from its development, has existed since the time of Rasulullah SAW. Even though at that time the theme of maqasid syari'ah had not been clearly stated, at least maqasid syari'ah had provided color and contribution to Islamic legal legislation in accordance with the objectives of establishing Islamic law. This research aims to describe Imam Ghazali's thoughts regarding maqasid Sharia. This research is library research and is included in descriptive research and is a type of bibliographic research because it tries to collect data, describe and analyze Imam al Ghazali's thoughts regarding maqashid sharia. In this research, it is concluded that Imam al-Ghazali's Maqasid Syari'ah Thought can be traced from his books, especially in the book al-Mustasfa min Ilmi al-Usul. He classifies maslahah based on whether the syara' is accepted or not accepted into 3 (three) types, namely Maslahat al-mu'tabarah (benefits that are justified by the syara'), Maslahat mulgah (benefits that are rejected by the nashsyara'), and Maslahah murlahah (benefits that are not justified and not canceled by Sharia'). Al Ghazali also divided the levels of maqasid sharia into 3 (three), namely the levels of daruriyah (primary needs), al-hajjiyat (secondary needs) and tahsiniyat (tertiary needs). Of these three levels, only the emergency level can serve as a guide in determining Islamic law. Meanwhile, at the hajiyat and tahsiniyat levels, they cannot be used as guidelines in determining laws unless they are strengthened by evidence.

Abstract

Riski Dahliana (Nim. 20150043), Understanding of Gunung Tua Julu Village Community About Islamic Banking (Case Study in Gunung Tua Julu Village, Panyaungan District, Mandailing Natal Regency). The purpose of this study was to find out about the understanding of the Gunung Tua Julu Village Community, Panyaungan District, about Islamic banking. This type of research is field research conducted in Gunung Tua Julu Village. The nature of this study is a qualitative descriptive method. There are two data sources in this study, namely primary and secondary data sources. Primary data sources are obtained directly from the community while secondary data sources are in the form of Gunung Tua Julu village documents and books. To obtain valid data, the researcher uses a data collection method, namely interviews. After the data is collected, the researcher analyzes the data using qualitative data analysis techniques using the inductive method. The results of field research show that the understanding of the Gunung Tua Julu Village Community about Islamic banking is still minimal. They only know about Islamic banks but do not understand Islamic banks in detail. Only a few people understand about Islamic banks, some even do not know about Islamic banks at all. Most people do not know about what products and services are available at Islamic banks. The lack of understanding from the community is due to the lack of information obtained from Islamic banks and media such as television, print media, and social media which causes the community not to know what Islamic banks are and what products are available at Islamic banks.

Abstract

School-aged children need to consume a lot of fluids because of their high activity levels. The habit of not consuming enough water in children can have a very negative impact on their health and development. Mild dehydration will cause fatigue, headaches and constipation. The habit of not consuming water can be a problem, especially if children tend to prioritize consuming or drinking drinks made from soda and caffeine because it can increase health risk factors from consuming these substances. To overcome this, good anticipation is needed regarding fluid deficiency in children. Prevent dehydration in school-age children by providing education on adequate body fluids for elementary school students at SD Negeri 101827 Tuntungan so they can change unhealthy drinking habits. Methods for implementing activities include health education, lectures, and carrying out pre-test and post-test activities. The post-test results of 10 questions aimed at grade 5 students showed an increase in the percentage of correct answers almost entirely compared to the results of the pre-test. Recommendations for follow-up after this activity are that the school can collaborate with the student's parents regarding accompanying students to ensure sufficient water consumption while at home.

Abstract

Stunting is a condition of impaired growth and development in toddlers due to long-term malnutrition, repeated exposure to infection, and lack of stimulation. Stunting is influenced by the health status of adolescents, pregnant women, toddlers' eating patterns, as well as economic, cultural, and environmental factors such as sanitation and access to health services. Stunting conditions in early life have an impact on growth disorders so that they can have functional consequences that can be detrimental to children. Some of these consequences include low cognitive and learning abilities, low income as adults, low productivity and, when accompanied by excessive weight gain in childhood, an increased risk of chronic diseases related to nutrition in adulthood. Information from the Head of Kebon Bawang Health Center, there are 15 families who have children with stunting. In an effort to handle the case, IPKKI DKI Jakarta designed a Family Assistance activity with Stunting Children in the Kebon Bawang Health Center Assistance Area involving the STIK Sint Carolus. STIK Sint Carolus will send companions by involving lecturers and students in the field of community nursing in handling cases of families with stunted children. With direct assistance from health workers for families with stunted children, the level of family independence and knowledge will increase and children with stunting will receive treatment in the Kebon Bawang sub-district area. This activity is important to increase parental awareness in improving children's health.
