Abstract

Objective: To explore the potential of graphene in electrostatic actuation, emphasizing its mechanisms, applications, and challenges, and to evaluate its integration with MEMS/NEMS technologies. Method: A detailed literature review was conducted, analyzing the principles of electrostatic actuation and graphene's unique properties. The study examined synthesis and fabrication methods, focusing on scalability, quality control, and defect minimization. Performance metrics such as actuation efficiency, mechanical strain, and response time were also evaluated using data from prior experimental and theoretical studies. Results: Graphene’s exceptional electrical, mechanical, and thermal properties make it a promising material for electrostatic actuators. It demonstrates significant potential in MEMS/NEMS devices, flexible electronics, and biomedical applications. However, challenges persist in achieving consistent large-scale production, minimizing defects, and improving actuation efficiency. The review identifies key strategies for enhancing scalability and stability while maintaining graphene's functional properties. Novelty: This study provides a comprehensive review of graphene-based electrostatic actuators, integrating insights into their mechanisms, synthesis, fabrication challenges, and application prospects. It highlights innovative strategies to overcome existing limitations, offering a roadmap for advancing the practical implementation of graphene in actuator technologies.

Abstract

Objective: This study aims to analyze the concept of legal protection of women's rights in Islamic law and compare it with the Indonesian national legal system. Method: The study utilizes library research, with data sourced from scientific journal articles and research reports. Results: The research finds that Islamic law offers legal protection for women in areas such as livelihood, education, inheritance, and household protection. However, gender roles are defined traditionally, with men assuming the role of family heads, and inheritance distribution tends to favor males. In contrast, the Indonesian national legal system focuses on gender equality, providing comprehensive protection, particularly regarding domestic violence and inheritance rights. Despite these advances, challenges remain in implementing women's protection, while Islamic law, though traditional, continues to ensure women's welfare. Novelty: This study highlights the distinct approaches of Islamic law and the Indonesian national legal system, offering insights into the challenges and advancements in protecting women's rights.

Abstract

Objective: The integration of religious moderation into the Qur'an Hadith curriculum at Madrasah Tsanawiyah faces several obstacles, such as teachers' limited understanding and skills in effectively teaching moderation values. Often, teaching still focuses on memorization and a literal understanding of the texts, failing to connect these teachings with the broader context of moderation. This study aims to describe and analyze the concepts, methods, and approaches used in integrating religious moderation into the Qur'an Hadith curriculum at the Madrasah Tsanawiyah level. Method: This research utilizes library research as its approach. The data sources for this study include scientific journal articles and research reports relevant to religious moderation and Islamic religious education. By reviewing these materials, the study seeks to identify best practices and frameworks for incorporating moderation into the curriculums. Results: The study found that the integration of religious moderation in the Qur'an and Hadith curriculum at Madrasah Tsanawiyah focuses on fostering a balanced and tolerant understanding that respects diversity. The core concept is wasatiyah (balance), which aims to prevent extremism in religious practices. The methods employed include contextual learning, discussions, role-play, and problem-based learning, which link moderation teachings to students' everyday lives and enhance their understanding through experiential learning. Novelty: The research applies an integrative and holistic approach to teaching religious moderation, addressing cognitive, affective, and psychomotor aspects of learning. This approach ensures that students not only understand the concept of moderation but also apply it in their attitudes and behaviors.

Abstract

Objective: This study addresses the issue of improving the learning outcomes of grade II students in Indonesian language subjects, specifically focusing on beginning reading through the phonics method. The aim is to enhance students' reading skills and overall academic performance in this area. Method: The research was conducted in two cycles, utilizing both quantitative and qualitative data collection methods. The data were analyzed to assess student learning outcomes, and consultations were made with established success criteria to measure progress. Observations during each cycle helped identify key areas for improvement, such as the need for clearer explanation of learning objectives, use of media, and fostering student engagement. Results: In the pre-cycle, several shortcomings were identified, such as the lack of a clear explanation of learning objectives, absence of media and props, and insufficient opportunities for students to express opinions. In Cycle 1, while improvements were made, there were still issues, such as the teacher's failure to encourage student participation. Cycle II showed further improvements, with better motivation and more engaging teaching methods. As a result, student learning outcomes improved significantly across both cycles. Novelty: This research demonstrates that the phonics method can effectively enhance the learning outcomes of grade II students in Indonesian language subjects related to beginning reading. The study highlights the importance of teacher engagement, the use of varied teaching strategies, and motivation in fostering better student performance.
