Abstract

This paper explores the future of work in Catholic social teaching from the encyclical Mater et Magistra to Laudato Si, with an emphasis on the development of key social documents. This paper underlines that the Church's social teaching does not aim at scientific analysis or technical solutions about work, but rather at placing the dignity and rights of workers at the center of work issues. The Atoin Meto tribe also has a deep view of work, which is reflected in the rice and corn creation myth in which Uis Neno, the Lord of the Heavens, gave plant seeds to humans. This article was studied using qualitative methods with a case study approach to the work culture of the Atoin Meto tribe and literature study. The research results present that agricultural culture is closely connected to religious cults, focusing rituals on corn and rice. Humans are presented as co-creators in their work culture, emphasizing the spiritual dimension of farming work. The unique thing is, in the culture of farming work, Atoin Meto not only build contact with nature in silence, they build communication with Uis Neno, the Lord of Heaven in and through ritual language.

Abstract

This article discusses the relevance of the role of social communication media for fellowship and human development according to the Communio et Progresio document. The use of social communication media is something that cannot be separated from human life today. The Church welcomes the development of social communication media with joy and views it as a gift from God. The Church wants to use social communication media as a means to build worldwide communion and develop human life. This article uses the library research method, which is a theoretical study, references and various scientific literature related to the research theme. The role of social communication media is very significant for humans to build relationships with each other quickly, share knowledge and information for human development and build solidarity throughout the world, specifically as a means of preaching the Gospel. However, here it is different, it has a negative impact on human life. Therefore, the Church through hierarchical authority supervises, controls and guides people so that people use social communication media wisely and wisely to build community and develop life.

Abstract

This research aims to find out what factors cause delinquency in children with physical disabilities and pastoral care using a behavioral approach that is relevant to dealing with delinquency in children with physical disabilities. The research was carried out using a qualitative approach involving pastoral case studies of a number of children with physical disabilities who experienced naughty behavior. Data was collected through participant observation, interviews with children, parents, and pastoral assistants, and documentation analysis. The research results show that pastoral care using a behavioral approach is able to make a positive contribution in managing the naughty behavior of children with disabilities. This research provides an in-depth understanding of the importance of pastoral care integrated with a behavioral approach in helping children with disabilities manage their naughty behavior. The practical implication of these findings is the development of more structured and evidence-based mentoring programs to support the holistic development of children with disabilities.

Abstract

This writing is motivated by the phenomenon of love that is not owned by Christians, so that there is a tendency of materialism among Christians that affects the way of thinking and behavior, this is because Christians are not able to carry out religious values perfectly. The emergence of cases of persecution, and discrimination against others shows that there is still a lack of love between people, especially Christians. Therefore, this study aims to apply theological studies on the concept of love for others in the Gospel of 1 John 4: 7-8 and its relevance for Christians, by providing forgiveness to others. By using a qualitative approach method to analyze, study and deepen it so that the right steps are obtained in practicing love for others in everyday life. The results of this study show that, (1) Jesus showed love regardless of ethnic or social differences, (2) Love is selfless, unselfish and most importantly unconditional, meaning total love. Thus, love is shown not only in words, but every real action as shown by Jesus to the Samaritan woman in John 4:7-8.

Abstract

The title of this study is a strategy to increase the faith of SEKAMI through the use of tik-tok social media at Stasi Kristus Raja Semesta Alam Suga-Suga. The focus of the research stems from the researcher's concerns about the support of SEKAMI, which does not have a strategy or approach to address SEKAMI children on a case-by-case basis. The main problem identified is the lack of understanding of the development of the situation, hence the absence of a good strategy to exploit the situation, especially in terms of technology that displays different types of social media, including tik-tok. social media. The purpose of this research is to look at, which includes tik-tok social media, which is one of the methods that can be used to increase the trust of SEKAMİ. The research method used is qualitative research. The selection of research sites and subjects was done through random sampling and random sampling. Miles and Huberman model was used to analyze the data. The analysis was performed in three stages: data reduction, data presentation, and data control. The framework is to explain's strategy of using tik-tok social media to SEKAMI trust. Based on research, the research results illustrate that SEKAMI facilitators will collaborate tik-tok social media with SEKAMI activities because they have found various strategies to utilize tik-tok social media as one of the tools that can be used in increasing SEKAMI's

Abstract

Every generation complaining the young people in this new era lack of respect towards parents. The young people tend to seek pleasure and pay less attention to manners, especially in relationships with parents. The command to honor one's parents is actually an obligation that God even conveyed to Moses as the leader of the Nation of Israel in the Decalogue. The purpose of this writing is to explain the noble meaning and value of honoring fathers and mothers as stated in the Decalogy. The method used is a combination of two methods, namely qualitative and quantitative research methods. By digging up information from primary and supporting sources and accountable references. The expected result of the research is that the author can present briefly, clearly and systematically the idea of the morality of the act of respecting fathers and mothers. Thus, it is hoped that this research will be a good source of information so that readers will know more about the importance of respecting fathers and mothers and can realize it in daily life.

Abstract

This article is based on concerns about the declining value of love in married life. There are many couples who end their marriage because they do not find the love that strengthens their marriage. There are many cases of marriages being divorced civilly and annulled by the Church. Pope Francis in his Apostolic Exhortation Amoris Laetitia provides a deep reflection on the value of love that is the main bond in married life and which guarantees the longevity of married life. Married life is basically a life partnership between husband and wife. The basis of that partnership is love. Love allows married couples to experience happiness in married life. This article uses a literature review method. The author collects, reads, and understands various relevant sources and compiles them into a scientific article.

Abstract

This article departs from concern over the lack of understanding of Catholic believers about the usefulness of indulgences given by the Church. The main problem raised is the lack of understanding of the faithful in understanding the Church's teaching on indulgences. The purpose of writing this thesis is for Catholic believers to understand more correctly and appropriately the Church's teaching about indulgences. The method used in this thesis is a literature review. The result of the discussion obtained is that Catholic believers can understand and utilize indulgences, increasingly strive to live holy, and try to be grateful and use these indulgences as well as possible. The conclusion of this writing is that the understanding of indulgences needs to be given by the Church in the form of catechesis so that the people are more aware of the benefits of these indulgences.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze how the church in the old and new testaments. The approach used in this research is descriptive qualitative, which aims to understand the structure so that it has a major influence on contemporary Christianity. From a conceptual perspective, the Church in the Old Testament is understood as a community of God's chosen people whose identity is attached to the ethnic unity of the Israelites and attachment to the law within the framework of the covenant. While in the New Testament, the understanding of the Church undergoes a transformation into a universal, inclusive, and spiritual community of faith, consisting of all people who believe in Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior, without ethnic or legal restrictions. In terms of structure and leadership, the Old Testament features a leadership system based on heredity and institutional positions such as priests and prophets who mediate the people's relationship with God; whereas in the New Testament, leadership is no longer hereditary, but based on the gift of the Holy Spirit, with a collegial, functional and participatory service model and Christ as the Head of the Church, emphasizing the dimensions of relationships and service in the community.In terms of sacraments, religious practices in the Old Testament such as religious celebrations functioned as symbols of obedience and identity of the people's covenant with God, but in the New Testament, so the sacramental meaning is renewed through baptism and holy communion which are spiritual and Christocentric, marking new fellowship in Christ in the context of grace. This study concludes that the New Testament cannot be understood as a break with or an abolition of the traditions and practices that existed in the Old Testament. Instead, the New Testament represents a theological fulfillment and essential transformation of the entire narrative and system that had been built in the Old Testament.

Abstract

Faith is the basic attitude of man to welcome God who reveals Himself to man. SEKAMI faith building activity is an activity to build children's faith so that the child's faith is more firm and knows God better. SEKAMI companions are messengers of Allah to proclaim His word for SEKAMI children. The purpose of this paper is to find out how the role of SEKAMI companions in fostering children's faith at the Saint Romanus Sifaoroasi Simanaere Lolohowa Station. This study uses a qualitative method with an observation and interview approach. The data obtained will be analyzed and described narratively by referring to several books, related articles. The findings of this study are found that SEKAMI Companions play a very important role in fostering the faith of children at the Saint Romanus Sifaoroasi Simanaere Lolohowa Station. This is reflected in the personality of SEKAMI's companion who is close to Jesus and becomes a friend to SEKAMI's children.
