Abstract

In the teaching and learning process, teaching methods and learning media are important aspects. The choice of teaching method will influence the appropriate type of learning media. Learning media acts as a teaching aid that can influence the learning climate and conditions. Learning media, especially in the era of modern technology, has a significant role in improving the quality of learning. Technology helps achieve educational goals and makes learning more interesting. The use of learning media is expected to increase student motivation, help understanding, and present information in an interesting way. The use of learning media, such as PowerPoint, is expected to encourage student learning motivation. In learning the history of Islamic culture, learning media, especially technological ones, are considered underutilized at the MAS Asy Syarif Session of Koto Laweh. This has an impact on students' lack of interest and motivation to learn. This research uses a qualitative approach with field studies, involving teachers and students as informants. Data was collected through observation, interviews and documentation studies. The results of the research show that the use of PowerPoint learning media in learning the History of Islamic Culture at MAS Asy Syarif Sidang Koto Laweh is not optimal. Teachers rarely use media, especially technological ones. This has an impact on students' lack of interest and motivation to learn. Therefore, it is necessary to innovate and develop the use of learning media, especially interactive PowerPoint, to increase student learning motivation.

Abstract

The influence of bullying on the mental development of the younger generation has a very serious impact on the physical and psychological, the impact resulting from this act of bullying greatly influences the development of growth and development and the future is at risk. The aim of this research is to find out what impact bullying has on the mental development of the younger generation at SMAN 2 Cimahi, and to find out what efforts all elements of society have made to prevent and minimize bullying. This research uses a quantitative approach in the form of a questionnaire aimed at SMAN 2 Cimahi students regarding the influence of bullying. This research produces an understanding and insight into bullying and its impact on the survival of generations. This research contributes to becoming a reference for all elements of society in understanding what bullying is and understanding efforts to prevent and minimize bullying from as early as possible

Abstract

This article wants to look at the understanding of the Basic Ecclesiastical Community (KBG) in the parish of St. Antonius Kali. The author's interest in discussing this theme is because the KBG style of life has existed since the First Congregation (Acts 2 & 4). This style has been revived since the 1950s in Brazil, FABC 1990, SAGKI 2000 and specifically the Manado Diocesan Synod 2018. The problem studied is how the understanding and practice of KBG in the parish of St. Antonius Kali, Manado Diocese. In the explanation, the KBG theory is discussed, then the author uses qualitative-phenomenological research methods with observation and interview techniques. The field findings were analyzed using KBG theory. The author found that the KBG in Kali is known as the spiritual area. In practice, the spiritual area has the characteristics of KBG: local church base, local community base, lay empowerment base, apostolic base, transformative pastoral care base. The KBG aims to revive evangelical values so that they are manifested in life. One of the methods offered is FGD (Focus Group Discussion) to involve community participation.

Abstract

This study examines social transformation in the digital era and its implications for contemporary society from the perspective of digital sociology. The research explores how technological changes are altering communication patterns, social interactions, economic structures, and other aspects of modern life. The analysis covers shifts in consumption patterns, employment, culture, identity, and political participation, while also highlighting the emergence of digital inequality. Despite the benefits of such transformations, such as broader access to information and greater political engagement, there are significant challenges, including disparities in technology access and digital skills, as well as the risks associated with irresponsible use of technology. Addressing these challenges requires cross-sector collaboration. Enhancing technology accessibility and skills, promoting digital inclusivity, and managing the social and economic impacts of technology are crucial for creating a sustainable and inclusive society in this digital age. With appropriate awareness and prudent actions, we can leverage the positive potential of technological changes to improve collective well-being and advance society towards a better future.

Abstract

This research aims to examine the influence of learning discipline on Catholic Religious Education learning outcomes for class VII students at Don Bosco Tomohon Middle School. The method used was quantitative with 60 class VII students participating. The instruments used consist of questionnaires to measure learning discipline and test results as well as evaluations of the applicable curriculum to measure Catholic Religious Education learning outcomes. The results of instrument testing show that the instrument used can be considered valid and reliable. The data were analyzed using simple regression analysis and the results showed that there was a significant influence between learning discipline and students' Catholic Religious Education learning outcomes with a determinant coefficient of 0.590. From these results it can be concluded that learning discipline contributes 59% to student learning outcomes, while 41% is influenced by other factors. The implication of this research is the important role of learning discipline in improving student academic achievement, as well as providing input for teachers and schools in developing more effective learning strategies.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of self-efficacy on cognitive learning achievement. This research was conducted at Don Bosco Catholic High School Bitung. The respondents in this study were X and XI-grade students. The research method used is the quantitative research method. Techniques in sampling using sampling techniques with the Slovin formula. The entire research sample totaled 130 students. The research instrument used is a questionnaire with alternative answers: Strongly Agree, Agree, Disagree, and Strongly Disagree. This study uses descriptive statistical analysis and simple linear regression analysis. The results of the study showed that Self-Efficacy had a calculated coefficient data result of 0.95 with a very good category and Cognitive Learning Achievement obtained a calculated coefficient of 0.68 with a good category. The results that have been found show that there is an effect of Self-Efficacy on Cognitive Learning Achievement at Don Bosco Bitung Catholic High School. It is said to be influential because the results obtained are the results of the coefficient of determination of 0.502. From this result by looking at the coefficient interval, it is categorized as moderate. From this explanation, it can be concluded that the effect obtained by 50% is categorized as strong and 50% is influenced by other factors, so the higher the student's self-efficacy, the more student learning achievement will increase.

Abstract

Learning is a process in which individuals acquire new knowledge, skills, values, or attitudes through experience, teaching, or training. Catholic Religious Education (PAK) is considered a means of increasing religious understanding and forming students' social attitudes towards their surrounding environment, including parents, friends and teachers at school. This research aims to explore the influence of PAK Learning on Changes in Attitudes of Class V and VI Students at St. Catholic 2 Elementary School. Joseph Woloan. The research population consisted of 61 students in grades V and VI who were active members of the school. A sample of 53 students was determined using the Slovin formula to produce representative generalizations. The main instrument used was a questionnaire with 30 statements, distributed directly to the selected sample. The collected data was analyzed using the IBM SPSS 25 for Windows application. The research results show that PAK learning has a significant influence in shaping students' attitudes, with a contribution of 81% to the observed attitude changes. This shows that this learning program plays an important role in shaping and directing students' attitudes in accordance with the values ​​taught.

Abstract

The curriculum is an important and main part of the world of education. The curriculum aims to regulate the running of the education process. The curriculum provides regularity in the implementation of the learning process. In Indonesia itself, the curriculum has undergone many changes. Curriculum changes aim to provide newness or improvement from the previous curriculum. Currently, Indonesia has replaced its curriculum with the name Merdeka Belajar Curriculum. The Merdeka Belajar Curriculum is a renewal or improvement from the previous curriculum, namely the 2013 Curriculum. The Merdeka Belajar Curriculum provides opportunities for students to learn more flexibly, with more and broader learning resources and media, so that it can arouse students' interest or motivation to learn. The method used in this study is the quantitative method. The results of the study show that the Merdeka Belajar Curriculum has an influence on Student Learning Motivation at SD Katolik 1 Bunda Hati Kudus Taratara
