Abstract

Banyaknya lembaga pendidikan yang tidak memberikan pelayanan dengan baik mempengaruhi dalam kepuasan pelanggan pendidikan. akibatnya penerimaan peserta didik baru semakin menurun hingga berujung pada sekolah yang digabung atau ditutup karena jumlah peserta didik tidak sesuai pagu. Untuk itulah perlu adanya peningkatan mutu layanan dalam sebuah manajemen pemasaan pendidikan di lembaga pendidikan dalam rangka menyongsong revolusi industri 4.0. Fokus kajian kali ini adalah bagaimana standar pelayanan pada manajemen mutu terpadu, bagaimana kesenjanganan antara produsen dan pelanggan pendidikan bisa terjadi, dan bagaimana Servqual RATER (Reliability, Assurance, Tangible, Empathy, dan Responsiveness) bisa menjadi solusi sekaligus imlplementasinya di era revolusi industri 4.0. Melalui metode analisis deskriptif, hasil implementasi Servqual tersebut ada pada bagaimana mengimplementasikan RATER dengan konsep manajemen pemasaran era revolusi industri 4.0 yang memiliki tiga ciri, yaitu dari eksklusif ke inklusif, dari vertikal ke horisontal, dan dari individual ke sosial. Kata Kunci: manajemen pemasaran pendidikan, mutu layanan, Servqual Many educational institutions do not provide services well for the satisfaction of education customers. As a result, accepting new students decreases to the point where schools are demerged or closed because the number of students does not meet the requirements. To help, it is necessary to improve the quality of services in the management of education at the Educational Institutions in the context of welcoming the industrial revolution 4.0 era. The focus of this study is how the service standards in integrated management, how to manage the handling between suppliers and customers Education can occur, and how Servqual RATER (Reliability, Assurance, Tangible, Empathy, and Responsiveness) can be a solution as well as its implementation in the Industrial Revolution 4.0 era. Through the descriptive analysis method, the results of this Servqual implementation exist when implementing RATER with the Marketing Management concept of the Industrial Revolution era 4.0 which has three features; from exclusive to inclusive, from vertical to horizontal, and from individual to social.

Abstract

Salah satu upaya untuk menjamin kelansungan lembaga pendidikan adalah strategi pemasaran yang tepat sasaran dalam jangka pendek, jangka menengah dan jangka panjang. Kajian ini difokuskan untuk mengungkap: 1) Bagaimana konsep perencanaan pemasaran dalam rekutmen peserta didik baru di MIMA 01 KH. Shiddiq Jember Tahun Pelajaran 2018/2019? 2) Bagaimana pelaksanaan pemasaran dalam rekutmen peserta didik baru di MIMA 01 KH. Shiddiq Jember Tahun Pelajaran 2018/2019? 3) Bagaimana faktor pendukung dan kendala pemasaran dalam rekutmen peserta didik baru di MIMA 01 KH. Shiddiq Jember Tahun Pelajaran 2018/2019? Pendekatan penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif. Pengumpulan data menggunakan observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Analisis data menggunakan teknik analisis interaktif model Miles and Huberman yaitu pengumpulan data, kondensasi data, penyajian data dan penarikan kesimpulan. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan observasi partisipan, wawancara terbuka dan dokumentasi. Pengecekan keabsahan data memakai uji kredibilitas yaitu triangulasi sumber dan metode. Hasil penelitian adalah 1) Konsep perencanaan strategi pemasaran dalam rekrutmen peserta didik baru menggunakan bauran pemasaran 4-P; konsep product, price, promotion, place. 2) Pelaksanaan pemasaran dalam rekrutmen peserta didik baru menggunakan identifikasi pasar, segmentasi pasar dan positioning. 3) Faktor pendukung pemasaran yaitu menjalin kepercayaan kepada masyarakat dan kendala pemasaran terdapat pada minimnya akses media informasi lembaga. Kata Kunci: madrasah ibtidaiyah, rekrutmen peserta didik, strategi pemasaran sekolah One of the efforts to ensure the existence of educational institutions is a targeted marketing strategy in the short term, the medium term and the long term. The study is focused on uncovering: 1) how the concept of marketing planning in the new protege program at MIMA 01 KH. Shiddiq Jember of lesson 2018/2019? 2) how is marketing performed in the new education program at MIMA 01 KH. Shiddiq Jember lesson 2018/2019? 3) how are contributing factors and marketing constraints in the new advanced education program at MIMA 01 KH. Shiddiq Jember of 2018/2019? The research approach employs a qualitative approach. Data collection uses observation, interview and documentation. Data analysis uses the Miles, Huberman and Saldana’s interactive model analysis techniques that are data collecting, data condensing, data presentation and deduction pullout. Data gathering techniques using participants' observations, open interviews and documentation. Verifying data results in a credibility test, which is source and method triangulation. Research results are 1) The concept of marketing strategy planning in new recruits using 4-p marketing mix: product, price, promotion, place. 2) Implementation of marketing in the new protege recruits using market identification, market segmentation and positioning. 3) The marketing factor of developing trust in people and marketing challenges is that the society's lack of access to media information.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh penempatan dan motivasi kerja terhadap kepuasan kerja dan kinerja guru di Madrasah Aliyah Se-Kabupaten Jember. Jumlah populasi 97 Madrasah dengan rincian tiga Madrasah Aliyah Negeri dan 94 Madrasah Aliyah Swasta. Jumlah sampel sebanyak enam madrasah dengan 100 responden. Teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan purposive sampling. Metode penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif jenisnya regresi. Pengumpulan data menggunakan teknik observasi, angket dan dokumen-dokumen. Analisis data menggunakan Path Analyisis. Data diolah dengan menggunakan program SPSS 16 for Windows. Penelitian sampai pada simpulan: Koefisien jalur pertama, penempatan berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kepuasan kerja guru serta kepuasan kerja guru juga berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kinerja guru. Jadi pengaruh langsung  penempatan terhadap kinerja guru lebih efektif dari pada melalui kepuasan kerja. Koefisien jalur kedua, motivasi kerja berpengaruh tidak langsung terhadap kinerja guru. Akan tetapi motivasi berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kepuasan kerja. Jadi pengaruh motivasi kerja terhadap kinerja guru dapat melalui kepuasan kerja guru. Kata Kunci: penempatan, motivasi kerja, kepuasan kerja, kinerja guru This study aims to determine the effect of placement and work motivation on job satisfaction and teachers' performance in Madrasah Aliyah throughout Jember Regency. The total population is 97 madrasas consisting of three States and 94 private Madrasah Aliyahs. There are 100 research respondents incorporating six madrasahs in total. The sampling technique used was purposive sampling. This study used a regression type of quantitative approach. Data were collected through observation, questionnaires, and documentation, and then analyzed by using Path Analysis. The data were processed using SPSS 16 for Windows. Based on the results of the analysis and discussion, it can be concluded that; the first Path Coefficient, the placement, has a positive and significant effect on teachers' job satisfaction and the job satisfaction itself also has a positive and significant effect on teachers' performance. Hence, the direct effect of placement on teacher performance is more effective than job satisfaction. The second path coefficient, work motivation, has an indirect effect on teachers' performance. However, motivation has a positive and significant effect on job satisfaction. Therefore, the influence of work motivation on teachers' performance can be measured through teachers' job satisfaction.

Abstract

Manajemen kesiswaan memiliki peranan penting karena bertujuan untuk mengatur kegiatan-kegiatan peserta didik agar kegiatan-kegiatan tersebut menunjang proses pembelajaran di madrasah. Lebih lanjut, proses pembelajaran dapat berjalan lancar, tertib dan teratur sehingga dapat memberikan kontribusi bagi pencapaian tujuan madrasah dan tujuan pendidikan secara keseluruhan. Manajemen kesiswaan yang dimaksud adalah program-program dan kegiatan-kegiatan yang dilaksanakan oleh kesiswaan untuk meningkatkan keberagamaan peserta didik, sehingga tumbuh menjadi insan yang cerdas, terampil, beriman, bertakwa, dan berakhlak mulia. Penelitian ini difokuskan pada bagaimana manajemen kesiswaan sebagai representasi program peningkatan kualitas beragama siswa di MTs Unggulan Nuris Jember. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif. Penelitian ini sampai pada simpulan bahwa manajemen kesiswaan sebagai representasi program peningkatan kualitas beragama siswa di MTs Unggulan Nuris Jember dimulai sejak proses penerimaan siswa baru dengan menggunakan tes keagamaan dan psikotes. Kemudian dalam proses pembinaan disiplin siswa, dilakukan sistem reward dan punishment yang melibatkan layanan-layanan pendukung di sekolah. Kata Kunci: kualitas beragama siswa, madrasah, manajemen kesiswaan Student management has an important role to organize students’ activities, so that these activities will support the school learning process. Furthermore, the learning process which can run smoothly, orderly and regularly can contribute to the achievement of school goals and the whole education objectives. The definition of student management in this research is the programs and activities undertaken by student affair staff to improve the students diversity, so they willl grow to be a clever, skilled, faithful, religious, and noble person. A research focus is to reveal how the student management as a representation of religious quality improvement program in MTs Unggulan Nuris Jember. This research used a descriptive qualitative approach. This research concluded that the role of student management as a representation of religious quality improvement program in MTs Unggulan Nuris Jember was started from the new students’ recruitment through religious and psychological tests. Furthermore, they applied reward and punishment system which involved the school support services to maintain the students discipline process.

Abstract

Madrasah berkontribusi dalam mengenalkan, menumbuhkan, memelihara dan meningkatkan nilai-nilai disiplin peserta didik, termasuk kepatuhan terhadap tata tertib madrasah. Selain itu, guru juga mempunyai andil yang besar dalam menumbuhkan sikap disiplin diri kepada peserta didiknya. Penelitian ini dimaksudkan untuk mengungkap strategi serta faktor pendukung dan penghambat pengembangan karakter disiplinan siswa di Madrasah Aliyah Nuriddahlani Tarokan Banyuanyar Probolinggo. Penelitiam ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif jenis studi kasus. Data-data diperoleh melalui wawancara, observasi, studi dokumentasi dan studi literatur. Hasil penelitian adalah Pertama, pengembangan karakter disiplin siswa di Madrasah Aliyah Nuriddahlani Tarokan Banyuanyar Probolinggo menggunakan beberapa pendekatan diataranya adalah kegiatan ruitin, kegiatan spontan, kegiatan keteladanan dan kegiatan pengkondisian. Kedua, hambatan yang dihadapi madrasah dalam mengembangkan karakter disiplin siswa terdiri atas: keterlambatan guru sebelum jam pertama, ketergantungan terhadap guru PAI dalam pembacaan do‘a di awal dan akhir pelajaran, keterlambatan peserta didik dengan berbagai macam alasan. Solusi dari hambatan itu, kepala madrasah sebagai pimpinan madrasah diharapkan dapat memberikan arahan dan penerangan baik kepada seluruh warga madrasah, motivasi terhadap guru agar datang tepat waktu sehingga sama-sama memperkuat ketertiban dan kedisiplinan serta pelayanan terhadap madrasah, kepala madrasah dapat memberdayakan guru-guru yang lain yang memiliki kompetensi perihal membaca doa agar pelaksanaannya lebih baik, dan perlu sanksi yang telah ditetapkan madrasah kepada peserta didik yang datang terlambat dengan disertai memberikan arahan dan penerangan serta memotivasi mereka agar dapat datang ke madrasah lebih awal. Kata Kunci: pengembangan karakter disiplin, madrasah aliyah Madrasahs have such contribution in introducing, establishing, maintaining and enhancing the cdisciplinary values of students, including adherence towards the regulation within madrasah itself. Likewise, teachers also have a big share in fostering an attitude of self-discipline towards their students. This research is intended to reveal the strategies and factors supporting and inhibiting the establishment of disciplinary character of students at Madrasah Aliyah Nuriddahlani Tarokan Banyuanyar Probolinggo. This research uses a qualitative case study type approach. The data were collected through interviews, observation, documentation, and literature study. The results of the study indicate that; First, the development of disciplinary character of students at Madrasah Aliyah Nuriddahlani Tarokan Banyuanyar Probolinggo was done through several approaches, including routine, spontaneous, exemplary, and conditioning activities. Second, the obstacles faced by madrasas in developing the character of students’ discipline consisted of: teacher tardiness before the first hour period, the dependence on Islamic education teachers in reciting prayers at the beginning and the end of lessons, students' belatedness for various reasons. The solution to be done are; the head of the madrasah as the principal is expected to provide good direction and enlighten all of the madrasah’s members, motivating teachers to arrive on time so that they both strengthen order and discipline as well as provision to madrasah. Moreover, the principals also can empower other teachers who have the competence regarding reading prayers so that the implementation itself is going to be better, and it need sanctions set by the madrasah for students who come late, accompanied by providing direction and motivating them to come to the madrasah earlier

Abstract

Waktu adalah bagian penting dan tidak terpisahkan dari kehidupan seseorang. Pencapaian kesuksesan ditentukan sejauh mana seseorang menentukan waktunya. Dalam dunia manajemen waktu, pendidikan juga merupakan bagian penting dari keberhasilan kegiatan pendidikan. Manajemen waktu adalah kemampuan untuk menggunakan waktu secara efektif dan efisien begitu pula manajemen waktu belajar tidak dapat dipisahkan dalam kehidupan mahasiswa. Selama pandemi COVID-19, semua mahasiswa di perguruan tinggi melakukan study from home dan melakukan kegiatan belajar menggunakan media online. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui bagaimana manajemen waktu belajar selama pandemi COVID-19 pada mahasiswa Bimbingan Konseling Islam Universitas Islam Negeri Imam Bonjol Padang.  Metode penelitian yang digunakan yaitu penelitian kualilatif. Hasil penelitian yang peneliti lakukan didapatkan bahwa problematika manajemen waktu belajar di Perguruan Tinggi pada masa pandemi covid-19 bahwa manajemen waktu belajar selama masa pandemi COVID-19 perlu adaptasi dengan baik, hal ini dikarenakan pandangan bahwa kuliah satu satunya di kampus. Akhirnya banyak mahasiwa banyak yang bekerja ataupun membantu orangtua di rumah. Selain itu kendala jaringan dan faktor mencari sinyal internet juga menjadi problem mendasar dikalangan mahasisiwa. Kata Kunci: manajemen waktu belajar, pandemi covid-19 Time is an important and inseparable part of someone’s life. Achievement of success is determined by the extent to which an individual determines the time. Within the domain of time management, education is also an important part of the success of educational activities. Time management is the ability to use time effectively and efficiently as well as learning time management in which it cannot be separated within student life. During the COVID-19 pandemic, all of the university students conducted the learning process from home and carried it out by using online media. The purpose of this study was to determine how study time management during the COVID-19 pandemic in Islamic Counseling Guidance students at the Imam Bonjol State Islamic University, Padang. The research method used is qualitative research. The results of the research suggested that the problem of study time management in universities during the Covid-19 pandemic was that learning time management during the COVID-19 pandemic needed to be well-adapted, this was due to the perception that the learning process itself were only took place at the campus. Therefore, many students work or help their parents at home. Apart from that, the internet’s network stability is also a fundamental problem among students.

Abstract

Lembaga pendidikan melalui hubungan masyarakat memiliki tanggung-jawab secara moral untuk konsisten memenuhi kebutuhan masyarakat tentang informasi yang berkaitan dengan perencanaan, pelaksanaan dan evaluasinya. Melalui humas, lembaga pendidikan memperoleh pelayanan berupa corong publikasi untuk memenuhi kebutuhan masyarakat baik internal maupun eksternal. Penelitian bertujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimana strategi Humas dalam internalisasi lima nilai budaya kerja Kementerian Agama di Perguruan Tinggi Keagamaan Islam Kalimantan Timur. Jenis penelitian ini adalah kualitatif. Data diperoleh dengan teknik observasi, wawancara, dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian mengung-kapkan Humas PTKI di Kalimantan Timur, dalam membangun strategi humas guna menginternalisasikan lima nilai budaya kerja yaitu dengan memperhatikan aspek peranan dan tugas humas yakni, expert preciber, Problem solving facilitator, communicator facilitator, technican communication. Peranan humas sebagaimana tertuang dalam teori yang dikemukakan Criss Skinner tersebut menjadi formulasi bagi praktisi humas dalam membangun strategi dan internalisasi lima nilai budaya kerja yaitu integritas, profesionalitas, inovasi, tanggungjawab dan keteladanan secara inklusif. Kata kunci: Humas, PTKI, lima budaya kerja, Kementerian Agama   Educational institution through public relations (PR) has a moral responsibility to consistently meet society's needs on the information relating to its planning, execution and evaluation. Through public relations, educational institution receives services in the form of public publicity to meet both internal and external needs. The research aimed to find out how a PR strategy in the internalization of the five cultural values works of the Ministry of Religious Affairs at East Kalimantan Religious College. This type of research was qualitative. Data obtained through observation techniques, interviews, and documentations. The research suggests that PTKI's public-relations in East Kalimantan, in building a PR strategy for internalizing the five cultural values of the working culture, expert preciber, the interest-facilitator problem, communicator/com-municator, technically communication techniques. The role of public relations as brought about by the criss skinner theory has become a formulation for public-relations practitioners in building a strategy and the internalization of the five cultural values of integrity, professionality, innovation, responsibility and individuality.

Abstract

Pesantren sebagai sebuah kultur ataupun sub kultur dalam penjalanannya mengalami perkembangan yang cukup signifikan, baik dalam sistem pengajaran maupun manjememen kelembagaan. Pada sistem pengajaran, pesantren mengalami perubahan selain karena menerapkan model salaf seperti sorogan dan wetonan tetapi juga karena mengadopsi model madrasi. Dengan menggunakan metodologi kepustakaan, tujuan penulisan artikel ini adalah untuk mengetahui penguatan manajemen pesantren dalam mewujudkan lembaga pendidikan alternatif ideal. Hasil dari penelitian ini menujukan bahwa pesantren menerapkan pengelo-laannya dengan pendekatan manajemen modern, karena pada awal-awal berdirinya pesantren, hampir seluruh pesantren di Indonesia menerapkan pola kepemimpinan karismatik yang terpusat pada sosok pengasuh (kiai), namun saat ini model kepemimpinan yang diterapkan mengalami perubahan karena pesantren menerapkan model kepemimpinan kolektif. Oleh kerena itu, banyak yayasan di dalam pesantren yang menerapkan kepemimpinan kolektif. Kata Kunci: manajemen pesantren, kepemimpinan pesantren, lembaga pendidikan alternative Pesantren as a culture or sub-culture, within its enactment, has developed quite significantly, both in the teaching system and institutional management. In the teaching system, pesantren have undergone changes not only for applying the salaf based learning model such as sorogan and wetonan but also for adopting the madrasi’s model. As it used Literature review based methodology, this study aims to strengthen the pesantren’s management in realizing an ideal alternative educational institutions. The results of this study indicate that pesantren or Islamic boarding schools utilizes modern based management approach, because in the early development of pesantren, it implemented a charismatic leadership pattern centered on the role-modeling figure of a caregiver (kiai). However, the leadership model itself has changed into a collective leadership model. Due to this reason, some educational foundations of pesantren apply such collective leadership.

Abstract

Era society 5.0 merupakan kelanjutan dari era revolusi industri 4.0 yang lebih menonjolkan sisi humanisme dalam menyelesaikan masalah-masalah sosial termasuk pendidikan dengan mengintegrasikan antara virtual dan realita. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalis kebijakan pemerintah tentang pengembangan guru di era society 5.0 dengan mengunakan sumber data atau referensi yang berupa buku, jurnal, prosiding dan lain-lain yang secara umum disebut library research. Terdapat beberapa kondisi dan penyebab dari rendahnya kualitas profesi guru, antara lain:  1) Belum tercapainya standarisasi kualifikasi akademik guru minimal D4/S1 sebagaimana tercantum dalam Permendiknas Nomor 16 Tahun 2007, 2) Pengembangan kompetensi guru yang seringkali terhambat karena faktor internal dan eksternal, 3) Rekrutmen guru yang tidak efektif,4) Kesejahteraan guru berupa penghasilan yang masih sangat kecil dan tidak sebanding dengan tugas guru sebagai pembentuk watak dan peradaban manusia.Walaupun kebijakan-kebijakan strategis dari pemerintah yang berkaitan dengan keempathal tersebut sudah ada, namun implementasinya masih sangat kurang apalagi jika dihubungkan dengan kebutuhan era society 5.0 yang menuntut profesionalisme guru yang handal dalam menyiapkan generasi unggul masa kini dan masa yang akan datang. Kata kunci: kebijakan pemerintah, pengembangan guru, era society 5.0 The era of society 5.0 is a continuation of the era of the industrial revolution 4.0 which further emphasizes the side of humanism in solving social problems including education by integrating virtual and reality. This study aims to analyze government policies on teacher development in the era of society 5.0 by using data sources or references in the form of books, journals, proceedings, and others which are generally called library research. There are several conditions and causes for the low quality of the teaching profession, including: 1) The standardization of minimum academic qualifications of D4/S1 teachers has not been achieved as stated in Permendiknas No. 16 of 2007, 2) Teacher competence is often hampered due to internal and external factors, 3) Ineffective teacher recruitment, 4) Teacher welfare in the form of income which is still very small and not comparable to the teacher's duty as a form of human character and civilization. Even though strategic policies from the government relating to these five things already exist, their implementation is still lacking, especially when connected with the needs of the 5.0 era society which demands reliable professionalism in preparing superior generations today and in the future.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji efektivitas pengawasan dari perspektif guru Madrasah Aliyah Negeri (MAN) di Kudus. Tujuan utama dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahu efektivitas  pengawasan yang berjalan di Madrasah Aliyah Negeri (MAN) di Kudus. Selain itu, penelitian ini juga mengkaji perspektif guru terhadap proses pengawasan Madrasah Aliyah Negeri (MAN) di Kudus. Selanjutnya, peneliti juga mengeksplorasi model pengawasan yang efektif berjalan di Madrasah Aliyah Negeri (MAN) di Kudus berdasarkan perspektif guru. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian lapangan dengan metode campuran yang mengakomodasi kedua pendekatan kuantitatif dan kualitatif. Pengumpulan data menggunakan kuesioner untuk kuantitatif dan wawancara untuk kualitatif. Metode analisis data menggunakan survei untuk kuantitatif, dan komparatif konstan untuk kualitatif. Adapun lokasi penelitian sendiri di MAN 1 Kudus dan MAN 2 Kudus. Dari analisis data dapat diperoleh temuan penelitian sebagai berikut; pertama, proses pengawasan di Madrasah Aliyah Negeri (MAN) di Kudus berjalan secara efektif. Kedua, perspektif guru untuk proses pengawasan Madrasah Aliyah Negeri (MAN) di Kudus positif. Sedangkan yang ketiga, model pengawasan yang efektif berjalan di Madrasah Aliyah Negeri (MAN) di Kudus berdasarkan perspektif guru adalah Supervisi Klinis dan monitoring Administrasi. Kata Kunci: pengawasan yang efektif, perspektif guru, model pengawasan This study intends to look at the real phenomena of effective supervision from teachers’ perspectives of Madrasah Aliyah Negeri (MAN) in Kudus. The purpose of this research is described as follows: to find out whether supervision runs in Madrasah Aliyah Negeri (MAN) in Kudus run effectively or not, to explain the teachers’ perspectives to supervision process of Madrasah Aliyah Negeri (MAN) in Kudus, and to explore the model of supervision which effectively runs in Madrasah Aliyah Negeri (MAN) in Kudus based on the teachers’perspectives. This research is a field with mixed method that accommodate both of quantitative and qualitative approach. Collecting data using questionnaire for quantitative and interviews for qualitative. Methods of data analysis using survey for quantitative and constant comparative for qualitative. The location is in MAN 1 Kudus and MAN 2 Kudus. These research findings are; first, supervision process in Madrasah Aliyah Negeri (MAN) in Kudus runs effectively. Secondly, teachers’perspectives to supervision process of Madrasah Aliyah Negeri (MAN) in Kudus are positive. And the third, model of supervision which effectively runs in Madrasah Aliyah Negeri (MAN) in Kudus based on the teachers’perspectives is Clinical Supervision and Administrative monitoring.
