Journal An-Nafs: Kajian Penelitian Psikologi Focuses on empirical studies of educational psychology and includes discussions of social psychology in educational contexts (interpersonal, group, and community interactions). This journal publishes research based on empirical studies using quantitative, qualitative, or mixed-method approaches. Journal An-Nafs: Kajian Penelitian Psikologi Covering a broad range of content issues (learning innovation in psychology; student interactions; leadership and teacher careers in the educational setting; teacher-student relations; school cultures; special education; gender, race, ethnicity and social class in education; achievement, motivation, attitude in school; psychological interventions in educational setting; bullying, violence, and criminals in school; etc). This journal prioritizes high-quality innovative and comprehensive research on psychological phenomena associated with Muslim generations/societies/countries/institutions. Studies on Muslim and developing countries to increase the publication of psychological research from these regions at the international level are preferred. However, contributions from all corners are not limited.

Abstract

This study examines interconnection between transactional leadership and need for achevement to employee performance in PDAM Malang. This research was conducted in PDAM Malang City. The population of this study are employees of PDAM Malang City amounting to 372 employees. Quantitative research method using Likert scale and using multiple linear regression method. The number of samples of 190 employees from the population of 372 employees PDAM Malang City by using purposive random sampling technique. Based on the result of hypothesis test, first hypothesis rejected which is no effect on the performance of the employee, the second hypothesis is accepted, wherever the need for achievement shows positive and significant effect on the employee performance, and the last hypothesis is accepted, it is persue just as positive and significant influence simultaneously on employee performance. Based on the determination coefficient obtained Adjusted R Square value of 0.139 means that the influence of employee performance variables caused by transactional leadership style variables and need for achievement is 13.9 percent, while the big influence on employee performance variables caused by other factors is by 86.1 percent Keywords: Transactional Leadership Style, Need for achievement, Employee Performance.

Abstract

This research aims to (1) to know the influence of harmony of Lapindo mudflow victim's family to child psychology, (2) to know the influence of social relation to child psychological development, (3) to know the influence of government role on psychological development of child, (5) To know the influence of family harmony, social relations and the role of government on psychological development of child victims of Lapindo through personality of children in Tanggulangin Sidoarjo. This research uses mixed methods. This study uses statistical analysis through multivariate regression analysis, also conducted exploration and narration on the psychological development of children due to Lapindo mud. The results showed that (1) factors that play a role in the achievement of the psychological development of children impact of mud disaster, that is personality factor. Personality has the greatest and meaningful contribution in achieving the child psychological development that is equal to 9, 021%, (2) personality of the child is the factor which most plays role in the development of thinking, development of intelligence, language development, personality development, and development of soul of child religion. Psychologically developing children are independent learners, their awareness and learning abilities are high so that they learn and work on their own to achieve achievement without having to be asked by others, (3) the government's role has to do with the child's psychological development due to Lapindo mud. Child psychology increases if the support from the government is good, contrary, the less the role of government then the psychological child is reduced

Abstract

Bandura (1997) says that self-efficacy is an individual's belief in his ability that affects the individual's way of reacting to certain situations and conditions. According to Gati, Krausz and Osipow (1996) suggested career decision-making refers to "ideal career decision maker". The statement means the process by which the individual is aware of a need to make a career decision, be able to make it happen, and be able to make the right decision by using the right process and best suited to the individual's goals. The purpose of this study is to determine the relationship between self-efficacy and career decision making at the final grade students at the Faculty of Psychology (Case Study at University In West Jakarta). Researchers obtained data of 214 subjects of final level of faculty of psychology at 5 universities in West Jakarta, with male gender amounted to 46 students and female gender amounted to 168 students. This study uses convenience sampling technique, data collection in this study using self-efficacy questionnaires, and questionnaires career decision-making difficulties. The result of data analysis using parametric technique, that is pearson correlation. Based on data analysis, there is a significant negative relationship between self-efficacy and career decision making (r = -0.409, p = 0,000 <0.01)

Abstract

Indonesian is a pluralistic nation, such as religion. The essence of religion is teaching followers for helping each other to keeping the unity of Indonesia. Religion will encourage its people for kindness to humanity eventough on the same religion or different religions. In fact nowdays, religious conflict is inevitable to happen in Indonesia. A religious conflict or even a conflict that is made as can be as threath to disintegrity of Indonesia.Facing religious conflict in Indonesia is required analysis from various angles such as sociology and psychology aspects of the religious conflict. The study concluded that the causes of religious conflict are caused by economic factors, social prejudices, conflicy of interests and others. This sociological and psychological analysis can be used as an illustration of the actions that can be done for resolving religious conflict as well as the effort to re-engage the unity to prevent the disintegration of Indonesia.

Abstract

Resiliency is a term to define about someone situation who has ability to bounce back ofter depressing psychological event. This research is describing and comparing between South Sumatera student and Lampung student resilience. It using analitical device concerning brief resilience scale (Smith et al., 2008). Toward analytical data engaging descriptive quantitative and T-Test to find out the differences between two samples. And The results showing that the score of Sig (2-tailed) 0,054 > 0,05 which means no differences between South Sumatra and Lampung students, however the resilience average of Lampung is higher than South Sumatera students

Abstract

This research aims to validate of self-management training as to improve self-regulate learning achievement for students of VII grade in MTs SA Pare. Self regulated learning is to access of schooling result achievement, to self-organizing in learning and managing ability of environment conducive schooling; Afterwards, Self management are a set of principles that accomodated of self-monitoring, self-reward, self-contracting, stimulus control for improving students skills in schooling by training. Model of this research is true experiments. For the population choosed from regularly class VII grades student of program; then for sample choosed by properly sampling that is for the students who have low self regulated learning category. It has explored 18 students divided into control group and experimental group by random. For data analysing technique using two ways ANOVA (Two way ANOVA) by using software SPSS version 20. Based on the analysis results, the class who already given and not given self-management training is significantly different, the average self-regulated learning of students who already trained are higher than students who are not trained

Abstract

This paper is propose to explain the planning and learning of Islam Education (PAI) for child with special needed in Special School (SLB) on the level of junior high school (SMPLB). The Planning and Learning have paculiar treatments in comparasion with regular junior high school. The methods are used by lecturing, discusing and practicing methods, and also using teacher’s gestures which depend on the class that must be faced. Hence, there are different learning strategies that must be applied by PAI’s teachers for one to another students. This associate to the physical and psychological condition of the student, with the results that it using personal schooling

Abstract

Nationalism as a love of the homeland, or attitude to love the nation and its own country. Nationalism must be developed from the beginning through the role of parenting parenting of children in the family. In addition, nationalism also grows in the life of adolescents who have life satisfaction. On the other hand, parenting also plays an important role in meeting the satisfaction of the lives of teenagers in the family. This research intends to know the role of parenting to the satisfaction of life and the attitude of teen nationalism. Data collection with the questionnaire is parenting parenting, life satisfaction and nationalism. Retrieved data of 220 adolescents. Analytical technique using anova and regression. The results of this study can be summarized as follows: there is no difference in nationalism attitude in terms of parental parenting; there are differences in life satisfaction in terms of parental parenting, and there is a role of life satisfaction with the attitude of nationalism in adolescents. Furthermore, the results can be seen in the discussion

Abstract

Being a teacher must have a positive character, one of which is honesty. Honesty can be known based on academic behavior during a student. In fact, there are currently many dishonest behaviors in prospective educators, especially in early childhood education program students. The purpose of this study is to describe academic behavior, especially academic dishonesty in students of early childhood education programs at University X in Central Java, Indonesia. The focus of research is on forms of dishonest behavior when working on Tasks, Middle Semester Exams and final semester examinations, and the causes of dishonesty occur. This study uses a phenomenological qualitative approach with a data collection tool with in-depth interviews. The research subjects were 4 students in the 7th semester who took courses in the Teacher Education Study Program and Early Childhood Education. The results showed that the form of academic dishonesty in prospective students of early childhood teacher educators was asking for answers, asking for the essence of answers, seeing answers (without being known by friends), bringing cheats and searching for answers on the internet. Academic dishonesty factor is caused by the question that comes out when the exam is not studied or not in accordance with what is learned when studying, does not know the answer, does not understand the material delivered during lectures and learning is not optimal.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of social stigma perception and social support on psychological wellbeing on prisoners. perceptions of social stigma and social support as independent variables and psychological well-being of dependent variables. Subjects were 140 prisoners who underwent half of prisoners in prisons class II A kediri with age range 20 to 37 years. The random sampling technique is used as the subject taking method. Data analysis used multiple linear regression analysis and data collection using scale psychological well being scale (PWBS), perceived social stigmatization (STS) and Multidimensional scale of perceived social support (MSPSS). The results showed that social stigma perception with psychological well-being had negative and significant influence with value (? = -.514, p = 0,000), social support gave influence to psychological welfare with value (? = 0.422, P = 0.000), perception social stigma and social support together have an influence on psychological well-being with value (F = 54,339, P = 0,000)
