Abstract

Sambas State Polytechnic (Poltesa) is a state vocational higher education institution located in Sambas Regency, West Kalimantan. It was established on August 26, 2011, based on the Regulation of the Minister of National Education of the Republic of Indonesia Number 102 of 2011. Poltesa was founded to meet the demand for vocational higher education in the Indonesia–Malaysia border area, particularly in Sambas and its surrounding regions. With a focus on practice-based education at the diploma (D-III) and applied bachelor's (D-IV) levels, Poltesa is committed to producing graduates who are job-ready and aligned with local potential. In addition, the campus actively engages in community empowerment, applied research, and vocational training targeting MSMEs, farmers, fishers, and other local economic actors, thereby supporting sustainable development in underdeveloped, frontier, and outermost (3T) regions. This study aims to determine whether there is a positive and significant influence of customer interest on financing mutation decisions using the mudharabah contract at BSI Sambas Branch. This research uses a quantitative method with a causal associative approach. The total population in this study was 172 people, and the sample size was determined using Roscoe’s theory, resulting in 20 respondents. The type of data used is primary data obtained from questionnaires. The data were analyzed using normality tests, heteroscedasticity tests, autocorrelation tests, simple linear regression analysis, and hypothesis testing using SPSS 23. The results of the study indicate that there is a positive and significant influence of customer interest on financing mutation decisions with the mudharabah contract at BSI Sambas Branch, as evidenced by a t-value of 0.678 and a significance value of 0.000 < 0.05. Furthermore, the Adjusted R Square value was 0.48. Thus, it can be concluded that customer interest influences financing mutation decisions at Sambas State Polytechnic by 48%, while the remaining 52% is influenced by other variables not included in this study.

Abstract

Zakat has the potential if it is, well developed, so that in the end it will be able to improve the community’s economy. Zakat is the basic principle for upholding the social structure in Islam, zakat is not charity or alms, zakat is an orderfrom Allah that must be carried out, for this reason Allah SWT esthabilises the pillars of Islam which are obligations and must be obeyed by every human being. The lack of community trust and statisfaction or muzaki is a problem for BAZNAS in Sambas regency. Most of the muzakki pay zakat directly to mustahik instead of having to pay zakat directly to BAZNAS Sambas regency, for fear that the zakat money will be misappropriated and fear that the funds will not be channeled properly.This study aims to analyze the effect of muzakki’s statisfaction and trust on the quality of BAZNAS services. This study aims to analyze the influence of satisfaction and trust of muzakki on the quality of BAZNAS services. This study is a study that uses a quantitative approach with a survey research type. The data used are primary data obtained tested with validity, reliability, classical assumption tests and then analyzed using multiple linear regression analysis techniques, T tests and F tests. The results of the study indicate that service quality does not affect the satisfaction of muzakki at BAZNAS Sambas Regency, the results of the T test, the calculated T value is 1.376 < the T table value of 1.990. Trust affects the satisfaction of muzakki at BAZNAS Sambas Regency, the results of the T test, the calculated T value is 2.730> the T table value of 1.990. Simultaneously, service quality and trust simultaneously have a positive and significant effect on the satisfaction of muzakki at BAZNAS Sambas Regency, the calculated F value is 4.767 l> from the F table of 3.11

Abstract

Ratten crafts are one of the cultures in Piantus Village, Sejangkung District which is now being developed and has become a source of income for the local community. However, in its development to increase the income of rattan craftsmen, there are still many obstacles. For this reason, this study will discuss how rattan craftsmen try to increase their income. This study aims to determine the increase in the income of Rattan craftsmen in Piantus Village, Sejangkung District, Sambas Regency. In addition, to determine the supporting and inhibiting factors for increasing the income of Rattan Craftsmen in Piantus Village, Sejangkung District, Sambas Regency.This study is included in qualitative research, which emphasizes quality or the most important thing of a good or service. This study will conduct research on sources, namely rattan craftsmen, using three data collection techniques, namely Observation, Documentation and Interviews.The results of this study indicate that the increase in income from rattan craft businesses in Piantus Village, Sejangkung District, is known to have several efforts to increase their income, including the following: First, they increase business capital, either from loans or cooperatives. Second, efforts to increase income carried out by rattan craftsmen in Piantus Village are by providing motivation and increasing business development capabilities for both the craftsman owners and their employees. Third, there are several rojan craftsmen in Piantus Village who have participated in economic business skills training as an effort to increase their income. Meanwhile, supporting factors for rattan craftsmen are strategic location, raw materials are easy to obtain, many workers, easy transportation facilities and marketing can be done easily. In addition to supporting factors, there are also inhibiting factors, namely internal and external factors.

Abstract

The success of an organization is influenced by many factors, one of which is employee performance. Meanwhile, employee performance is influenced by motivation and work environment. If motivation and work environment experience problems, it will affect employee performance. This study aims to test and determine the effect of motivation and work environment partially and simultaneously on employee performance at the Sambas Regency Manpower and Transmigration Office. The type of data in this study is quantitative with descriptive data analysis using primary data and secondary data obtained from the Sambas Regency Manpower and Transmigration Office. The number of samples in this study were 51 respondents using nonprobability sampling technique with saturated sampling method. The sample taken from the respondent is the answer to the questionnaire from the respondent. The data analysis method used is instrument test, classical assumption test, hypothesis testing using multiple linear regression test, t test, F test and coefficient of determination. Based on the results of multiple linear regression analysis with the help of the SPSS version 22 program, it is known that work motivation variables have a positive effect on employee performance with a significant value of 0.000 < 0.05 and a tcount t value of 5.145> t table 1.677. work environment variables have a positive effect on employee performance with a significant value of 0.000 < 0.05 and a tcount t value of 5.180> t table 1.677. Simultaneously, motivation and work environment variables have a significant effect on employee performance with a significant value of 0.000 <0.05. The coefficient of determination in this study is 66.3% and the remaining 33.7% is influenced by other variables not used in this study. Abstract

The potential of human resources must be managed as well as possible in order to provide optimal output. Therefore, a company must think about ways it can develop the potential of its employees. One of them is improving employee work performance, good work performance will provide benefits for employees and the company. Work performance is influenced by various factors, including self-actualization and appreciation. Employees who have the opportunity to actualize themselves and receive appropriate rewards tend to have high motivation to participate. This research aims to determine the effect of Self-Actualization and Reward on Employee Work Performance at the Tirta Muare Ulakan Regional Public Water Company, Sambas Regency, both partially and simultaneously. This research method uses quantitative research with causal associative research. The data used is primary data and secondary data. Primary data sources were obtained through distributing questionnaires to all employees in the company and then tested using the SPSS version 22 application with validity tests, reliability tests, normality tests, multicollinearity tests, heteroscedasticity tests, multiple regression tests, hypothesis tests and coefficient of determination tests. Meanwhile, secondary data was obtained from documents from offices related to this research. These results show that the self-actualization variable has a positive and significant effect on employee work performance at the Tirta Muare Ulakan Regional Public Water Company, Sambas Regency with a value of Tcount>Ttable (6.431>3.315) or can be seen from Siga (0.000<0.005). Apart from that, the reward variable also shows a positive and significant influence on employee work performance at the Tirta Muare Ulakan Regional Public Water Company, Sambas Regency with a Tcount value of Ttable (3.947>3.315) or can be seen from Sig<a (0.000<0.005). Simultaneously, self-actualization and appreciation have a positive effect on employee work performance at the Tirta Muare Ulakan Regional Public Water Company, Sambas Regency with a Tcount Ttable value (200.142>3.315) and a Sig value <0.05 (0.000<0.05)

Abstract

If compensation and work discipline experience problems, it will affect employee performance. This research aims to determine the effect of partial and simultaneous compensation and work discipline on employee performance at the Gunung Poteng Drinking Water Regional Public Company, Singkawang City. The type of data in this research is quantitative with descriptive statistical data analysis using primary data and secondary data obtained from the Gunung Poteng Regional Drinking Water Company, Singkawang City. The number of samples for this research was 59 respondents using non-probability sampling techniques with a saturated sampling method. The samples used from respondents were questionnaire answers from respondents. The data analysis methods used are instrument tests, classical assumption tests, hypothesis tests using multiple linear regression tests, t tests, and F tests and coefficient of determination. These results show that the compensation variable has a positive and significant effect on employee performance at the Gunung Poteng Regional Drinking Water Company, Singkawang City with a calculated T value> T table (6.644> 3.161) or can be seen from Sig<a (0.000<0.005). Apart from that, the work discipline variable also shows a positive and significant influence on employee performance at the Gunung Poteng Regional Drinking Water Company, Singkawang City with a calculated T value> T table (5.520>3.161) or can be seen from Sig<a (0.000<0.005). Simultaneously, Compensation and Work Discipline have a positive effect on employee performance at the Gunung Poteng Regional Drinking Water Company, Singkawang City with a calculated T value> T table (103.840>3.161) and a Sig value <a (0.000<0.005).

Abstract

In the era of globalization, the development of information technology has become an urgent need in various sectors, including banking. Bank Syariah Indonesia (BSI) provides mobile banking services aimed at facilitating banking transactions and increasing customer satisfaction. This study aims to analyze the influence of mobile banking services on customer satisfaction at the BSI Sambas Branch. The method used in this study is quantitative, with data collected through questionnaires distributed to 30 BSI mobile banking service users. Data were analyzed using IBM SPSS Statistics 26 to test validity, reliability, and perform a simple linear regression test. The study results show that BSI’s mobile banking services have a positive and significant influence on customer satisfaction, with a determination coefficient (R²) of 0.613, meaning that 61.3% of the variation in customer satisfaction is explained by the quality of mobile banking services. All questionnaire items are valid at the 5% significance level and reliable with a Cronbach's Alpha value greater than 0.6. The majority of respondents are female, aged 23-30 years, with a high school education, and work as entrepreneurs. These findings recommend that BSI enhance the aspects of security, ease of use, privacy, reliability, credibility, and system speed in its mobile banking services. These improvements are expected to increase customer satisfaction and loyalty toward BSI’s digital services

Abstract

Profitability is a ratio that looks at a company's ability to generate profits. Sharia banking is an institution that provides sharia banking services based on sharia principles. This research aims to determine the effect of mudharabah and nausyarakah financing on the level of profitability at PT. Bank Syariah Indonesia, Tbk period talfun 2021-2023. This research is a quantitative research with the data source used is secondary data obtained through the official website of Bank Syariah Indonesia.. The number of samples in this study was 36 samples. The analysis techniques used include statistical analysis, multiple linear regression analysis, hypothesis testing, namely the t test, using SPSS 24 analysis tools. The results of the research show that the mudharabah variable, the t-calculated results of the mudharabah variable, do not have a significant effect on ROE. The musyarakah variable from the t-calculated musyarakah variable has a significant positive effect on ROE. And by testing all the independent variables simultaneously, it was found that the influence of mudharabah and musyarakah financing on ROE is that the R Square value is 0.311, which means that the contribution of the two independent variables of mudharabah and musyarakah to ROE is 31.1%, and 68.9% of the other variables

Abstract

Village Funds originate from the State Revenue and Expenditure Budget (APBN) and are utilized for development and welfare, particularly in rural areas. Village Funds are expected to have a highly positive impact on infrastructure development. However, in reality, many community facilities, such as village roads, cannot yet be considered adequate, which may disrupt daily mobility or traffic flow for the community. Using a qualitative approach, this study employs primary data obtained through direct interviews with informants and secondary data collected from the Mekar Sekuntum village office and the Central Statistics Agency of Sambas Regency. The analysis method involves calculating the effectiveness ratio to measure the level of effectiveness. The results of this study indicate that the management of Village Funds sourced from the APBN is entirely used for village development to achieve national development goals. Village Funds are considered effective when they are utilized in accordance with the objectives of the Village Fund policy itself. Village Funds aim to realize development in villages. Based on research conducted on the effectiveness of Village Fund policies in infrastructure development in Mekar Sekuntum Village, Tebas District, Sambas Regency, the management of Village Funds is declared compliant with the Republic of Indonesia Law Number 6 of 2014 on Villages, Ministry of Home Affairs Regulation Number 113 of 2014 on Village Financial Management, and Sambas Regent Regulation Number 48 of 2018 on Village Financial Management.

Abstract

This study aims to determine whether there is a positive and significant influence of income, education, and family size, both partially and simultaneously, on family welfare from the perspective of Maqashid Asy-Syariah in Sebayan Village. This research employs a quantitative approach with a causal associative nature. The population in this study consists of 929 households, and the sample size was determined using Roscoe's theory, resulting in a sample of 40 respondents. The type of data used is primary data obtained from the results of a questionnaire. The ordinal data collected was then converted into interval data. Subsequently, the data was processed using validity and reliability tests, classical assumption tests, multiple linear regression analysis, and hypothesis testing using SPSS 23. The research results indicate that, partially, there is no positive and significant influence of income on family welfare, as evidenced by the t-value < t-table (1.724 < 2.02809) with a significance value of 0.474 > 0.05. There is a positive and significant influence of education on family welfare, as shown by the t-value > t-table (3.831 > 2.02809) with a significance value of 0.000 < 0.05. There is no positive and significant influence of the number of family members on family welfare, as indicated by the t-value < t-table (1.938 < 2.02809) with a significance value of 0.060 > 0.05. Simultaneously, there is a positive and significant influence of income, education, and the number of family members on family welfare, as seen from the F-value > F-table (9.725 > 2.87) with a significance value of 0.000 < 0.05. Furthermore, the Adjusted R Square value is 0.402, which means that income, education, and the number of family members account for 40.2% of the influence on family welfare, while the remaining 59.8% is influenced by other variables not included in this study.
