Abstract

ABSTRACT This study aims to examine the effect of the level of profitability, level of financing, and level of efficiency on the level of profit sharing for mudharabah deposits. The level of profitability is proxied by return on assets (ROA), financing is proxied by the financing to deposit ratio (FDR), and the level of efficiency is proxied by Operating Costs to Operating Income (BOPO). While the dependent variable used in this study is the rate of profit sharing for mudharabah deposits. This study uses secondary data using published data on financial statements at Bank Kalbar Syariah Sambas Branch for the 2019-2021 period. The analytical method used is multiple linear regression, and before performing the regression test, the classical assumption test is first performed. The results of this study indicate that Operational Costs on Operating Income (BOPO), return on assets (ROA) and financing to deposit ratio (FDR) partially have a positive and significant effect on the rate of profit sharing on mudharabah deposits at Bank Kalbar Syariah Sambas Branch for the 2019-2021 period. . Simultaneously, Operational Costs on Operating Income (BOPO), return on assets (ROA) and financing to deposit ratio (FDR) together have a positive and significant impact on the rate of profit sharing on mudharabah deposits at Bank Kalbar Syariah Sambas Branch for the 2019-2021.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the existence of factors that influence production in increasing rice farmers' income from an Islamic economic perspective. Tangaran Village, Tangaran District, which has quite a lot of production factors so that it influences farmers' income a lot. The technology used in this research is. The theory of what factors influence paddy production and how production increases the income of paddy farmers. This research uses a descriptive qualitative approach, and includes a type of field research. The data collection techniques used are observation, interviews and documentation. The data used is primary income of the paddy farming community. The research data analysis technique is data reduction, submission of data, drawing conclusions. The technique for the validity of the data used is member checking. Based on the results of the research, it is concluded that the factors that influence production in increasing the income of rice farmers from an Islamic economic perspective are very much influenced by production factors and the income of rice farmers in Tangaran Village so that the income of farmers increases a lot, and many implement Islamic teachings. It has a positive impact on the economy of the local rice farming community, especially the community. Tangaran Village

Abstract

This study investigates the effects of the Interbank Mudharabah Investment Certificate (Sertifikat Investasi Mudharabah Antarbank/SIMA), inflation, and exchange rates on financing provided by Islamic Commercial Banks in Indonesia during the period 2015–2024. The study employs a descriptive quantitative approach with a focus on causality analysis, utilizing secondary time-series data obtained from Bank Indonesia and the Financial Services Authority (Otoritas Jasa Keuangan/OJK). The data are analyzed using the Vector Autoregression (VAR) estimation method with the assistance of EViews 12 software. Several pre-estimation procedures are conducted, including stationarity testing, optimal lag length determination, and cointegration testing, to ensure the accuracy and validity of the model. The results indicate that although the individual variables become stationary after first differencing, the cointegration test does not reveal any long-run equilibrium relationship among SIMA, inflation, exchange rates, and Islamic bank financing. Granger causality tests demonstrate that Islamic bank financing Granger-causes SIMA, inflation, and exchange rates, but not vice versa. Further VAR analysis reveals dynamic interdependence among the variables, with past values of Islamic bank financing significantly influencing its current level as well as inflation.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the fundamental concepts of Islamic management and business and their relevance in modern economic practices. Islamic management and business constitute a business management system that is not only profit-oriented but also grounded in spiritual values and Islamic ethics. This study employs a library research method using a descriptive- analytical approach through a review of literature from books and scholarly journals on Islamic economics. The findings indicate that the fundamental concept of Islamic management is based on the principles of tawhid (monotheism), amanah (trustworthiness), justice (‘adl), and maslahah (public benefit). Meanwhile, Islamic business rejects practices involving riba (usury), gharar (uncertainty), and maysir (gambling), and emphasizes transparency, honesty, and social responsibility. The implementation of these concepts is reflected in the development of Islamic financial institutions, Islamic cooperatives, and the halal industry in Indonesia. This study concludes that Islamic management and business offer a business management model oriented toward balancing economic efficiency and spiritual blessing, thereby holding the potential to realize a more just and sustainable economic system.

Abstract

This research uses a qualitative approach and the type of research used is descriptive. The place that is the object of this research is Mature Labong village. The data sources used are primary data and secondary data. Data collection in this research used observation, interview and documentation methods. The analytical method used is a qualitative analysis method. Direct cash assistance from village funds is very good for the community, where this assistance can help the economy of the poor, the distribution of this assistance also meets the specified criteria, such as people who have illnesses and people who have given up their businesses so they have no income. The form of cash is given to prevent the decline in purchasing power of poor people caused by rising prices of basic commodities.

Abstract

Women’s savings and loan product are a financing product from a sharia institution that has the aim of improving the economic situation of the community. Currently, there are many financial institutions such as bank and non-bank that help provide comprehensive support for the problems of people whose economy is middle to lower, such as traders. This research aims to determine what factors influence traders’ descisions in using SPP products and the SPP financing scheme at the UPK sharia independent sub-district Selakau. This research, including qualitative field research, data obtained by using observation, techniquest, interviews and documentation techniques. This research uses 3 kinds of data analysis techniques namely data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The result of this research indicate that the factors that influence traders’ descisions to use these financing product are internal factors such as personal and psychological, as well external factors such as social from the surrounding environment, the ease of the system for custumer to use, provit sharing between institutions and customers, requirements for financing, as well as services provided by the independent sharia activity management unit institutions in the Selakau Sub-district.

Abstract

The rapid growth of social media has significantly transformed how Generation Z acquires financial information and makes investment decisions. As digital natives, Generation Z actively engages in online discussions through platforms such as Instagram, TikTok, Telegram, and Discord, where investment narratives, trends, and opinions circulate rapidly. From a behavioral finance perspective, investment decisions are not purely rational but are often influenced by psychological biases emerging from social interaction and digital communication dynamics. However, limited qualitative research explores how these online discussions shape behavioral biases and investment decision-making among Generation Z. This study aims to analyze the dynamics of investment discussions among Generation Z on social media and to identify behavioral finance biases embedded in these digital interactions. Specifically, it seeks to explore how online discourse contributes to the formation of risk perception, return expectations, and final investment choices. This research employs a qualitative approach using digital ethnography. Data were collected through in-depth semi-structured interviews with 18 Generation Z investors aged 18–26 years who actively participate in online investment communities. Additionally, participatory observation was conducted in selected Telegram and Discord investment groups, as well as content analysis of investment-related discussions on TikTok and Instagram. The data were analyzed using thematic analysis involving open, axial, and selective coding to identify recurring patterns and behavioral constructs. The findings reveal that social media discussions play a central role in amplifying herding behavior, Fear of Missing Out (FOMO), overconfidence, and confirmation bias among Generation Z investors. Investment decisions are frequently influenced by viral narratives, influencer opinions, and peer validation rather than comprehensive fundamental analysis. The study also identifies a cyclical mechanism in which digital interaction reinforces collective sentiment, which subsequently shapes individual risk-taking behavior. These results contribute to the development of a conceptual model linking digital social interaction, behavioral biases, and investment decision-making among Generation Z, offering implications for digital financial literacy policies and investor education strategies.

Abstract

The lack of empirical research metadata on the evaluation of higher education marketing using 8P motivates this study. This study aims to describe the evaluation of higher education marketing research based on 8P from 2019-2022 using the Scopus database. This study uses a meta-analysis research type. The results of the content analysis show, namely: 1) empirical research on Higher Education Marketing based on the 8Ps has fluctuated from 2019 to 2022. The highest was in 2020 n = 28 (32%); 2) the type of manuscript is dominated by Article with n = 64 (73%); 3) research design and methods used are dominated by qualitative with n = 23 (26%); 4) the field of Higher Education Marketing based on the 8Ps in Indonesia is dominated by the field of promotion, namely n = 70 (80%). While the few are the price and place fields n = 0 (0%); 5) journal publishers are dominated by the Journal of Marketing for Higher Education n = 13; 6) authors are dominated by Emmanuel Mogaji having 2384 citations with n = 4. Further researchers can study the higher education marketing field, focusing on price and place, which are still little studied by researchers. In addition, explore research methods that are still little studied, such as content analysis and SWOT analysis.
