Abstract

Indonesia is one of the largest spice producing countries in the world, one of which is kencur (Kaempferia galanga L.), which has various health benefits. This research aims to analyze the benefits of the galangal plant. The method used is Systematic Literature Review (SLR) which includes searching, evaluating and synthesizing related literature. Research results show that galangal contains significant chemical content such as essential oils, flavonoids, phenols and curcuminoids, as well as various other active compounds that contribute to its anti-inflammatory, antibacterial and antioxidant properties.

Abstract

Internal audit functions in helping companies to maintain internal control. Internal audits carried out must be ensured to be effective and efficient. There are several factors that affect the effectiveness of internal audits, namely audit team competence, audit team independence, management support, and internal audit quality. In this study, PT ABC has implemented and implemented an internal audit program in accordance with the provisions of ISO 9001: 2015 and ISO 14001: 2015 in clause 9.2. After analyzing the implementation of the internal audit program, there are still activities that do not meet the requirements, such as activities that have not and / or are not documented. Based on the results of the analysis of the factors that cause ineffective audit programs, the factors that influence the implementation of ineffective internal audit programs are method and man. In making improvement efforts, a guideline or standard is needed that can meet the requirements to achieve the effectiveness of the implementation of the internal audit program on factors that have an impact on the program. To meet the needs of continuos improvement, it is necessary to design an Internal Audit SOP that is tailored to the integrated requirements of ISO 9001: 2015, ISO 14001: 2015, and ISO 19011: 2018. To increase the effectiveness of the design results, the business process improvement method will be used. The results of this Internal Audit SOP design are in accordance with the requirements of the guidelines so that the implementation of the internal audit program can run more effectively and efficiently.

Abstract

Social media platforms have developed into important instruments for social interaction, communication, and information gathering. Through a series of routine actions, ethics provides humans with experience of how other people live their lives. This research method uses clustering data mining. Ethics can help human behavior in making judgments and acting in accordance with their philosophy of life. When deciding what to understand and what to do, ethics is a very useful tool. Because ethics can be applied to every aspect of life, ethics can be categorized into several areas based on facets or aspects of human life. Relations between people will be positive and friendly if there is good communication ethics. Therefore, social media users should think about the implications of the material and comments they publish. Additionally, respect and empathy for other individuals is an important component of social media communication etiquette. If communication ethics are not understood, miscommunication will arise, giving rise to debates and conflicts that can damage social harmony.

Abstract

Cybercrime is currently attracting worldwide attention as a type of international crime. Cybercrime via the Internet is a new type of cybercrime that has emerged as a result of advances in internet technology. This research uses qualitative methodology, which is related to the meaning, concepts, definitions, attributes, metaphors, symbols and descriptions of an object. The research results show that cyber security has an important role in improving information network security. Cybercrime and data privacy and security are closely related fields where ethics and technology interact. When using technology, ethics serves as a guide to reduce adverse impacts on data security and privacy. Data security and privacy go hand in hand with data protection. To prevent cybercrime and maintain data security and privacy, cyber security knowledge is essential. Data security for privacy is not only important, it is also essential for political, spiritual, religious and even freedom of expression. Ethics places great emphasis on protecting data security and blocking genuine, unauthorized access.

Abstract

One form of bureaucratic reform is a change in government activities that utilizes technology as a means of implementing a program or policy. Workload analysis is a policy used to calculate the workload of a government agency. Analysis of the implementation of workload in the Surabaya City Government using the ABK or e-ABK website so that this research was carried out to start implementing e-ABK in one of the regional apparatus of the Surabaya City Government, namely the Regional Revenue Agency (Bapenda). This research is descriptive qualitative research conducted by interviews and direct observation with related parties. The research results show that the evaluation of the implementation of e-ABK in the Surabaya City Bapenda has gone well based on five evaluation policy indicators according to William Dunn which include effectiveness, adequacy, equity, responsiveness and accuracy. Improvements to e-ABK by the Organization Section of the Surabaya City Regional Secretariat as the implementer of the workload analysis policy are a consideration in evaluating the implementation of workload analysis in the Surabaya City Government.

Abstract

This research aimed to examine the public service performance based on the regulation of Minister of Administrative Reform (PermenPAN) number 29 in 2022 at Kecamatan Sukolilo through six aspects of measurement. While, the research was descriptive qualitative with a case study approach. Data collection techniques in the research are interview, observation and documentation. The research result concluded Kecamatan Sukolilo performance in public service had run well. It could be seen from the aspects of service policy with the availability of standard information and service notice as the operator’s obligation in serving, the availability of community aspirations to improve their performance; professionalism aspects i.e. the responsive and time efficiency service and also competent to the service types, readiness and service culture (it reflects service providers were ready to serve according to the employee code of ethics); the availability of facilities in providing a service which included for disable users; the aspect of information system of public service in order to inform and support the service operational which werw known by the public; the availability of a special consultation and complaint place in providing information and clarification; the existence of public service innovations in making online licensing service easier to be made.

Abstract

This article aims to gain a deeper understanding of how the implementation of the Minister of Administrative Reform and Bureaucratic Reform Regulation Number 11 of 2024 concerning changes in the nomenclature of executive positions of the State Civil Apparatus in BPBD Surabaya City is proceeding. This research employs a descriptive qualitative approach, which will provide valuable insights into the implementation of policies on changes in the nomenclature of executive positions in BPBD Surabaya City, as well as the factors that influence it. BPBD has identified four variables as factors for successful policy implementation, namely communication, resources, disposition, and bureaucratic structure. The results of this study indicate that the implementation of the policy implementation of the Minister of Administrative Reform and Bureaucratic Reform Regulation Number 11 of 2024 is well underway. This is indicated by the variables that have been realised to a certain extent, but it is a gradual process that will take time. It would be beneficial for other agencies to consider the importance of maintaining the synergy of leaders and staff to carry out all bureaucratic reform activities, as emphasised in this study. The insights gained from this research could prove valuable for improving the effectiveness of policy implementation related to changes in the nomenclature of executive positions within the Surabaya City government.

Abstract

Editorial text is a text or writing that raises an issue based on the point of view of a media. The writing is equipped with evidence, facts, and reasons that support to strengthen the arguments or opinions of the editor. This research aims to describe the structure and language feature of editorial texts with the theme of the World Cup in Bola.net media. In addition, this research also aims to describe the recommendations of the research results as teaching materials for editorial texts in grade 12 high school. This research uses a qualitative approach with a qualitative descriptive method. The data collection technique used was purposive sampling technique. In addition, documentation techniques and listening - note taking techniques were also used. The results showed that in 21 editorial texts on the theme of the 2022 World Cup on Bola.net media, all of them have a complete structure. The structure includes issue introduction, argumentation, and reaffirmation or recommendation. In terms of language, there are some texts that still do not fulfill the language feature. The results of the study are recommended as teaching materials for editorial text material for grade 12 high school. Teaching materials made, namely Learner Worksheets or LKPD.

Abstract

Good and correct governance can be seen from governance that can make society prosperous and prosperous, including in terms of public services. Public services are essentially aimed at satisfying and adapting to the desires and needs of the community. In general, providing excellent service to the community is a manifestation of the duties of government officials as implementers of public services. Therefore, in the implementation of public services, both in sub-district and central agencies, it is necessary to carry out monitoring and evaluation. Cantian Pabean District is one of the regional government organizations in the city of Surabaya that provides public services in its area. The research method used in this research is descriptive research with collection techniques through observation and interviews. The focus of this research is focused on how to apply the principles of good governance in optimizing the fulfillment of supporting data from six aspects in the implementation of PEKPPP in the Cantian Pabean District based on the principles of Good Governance according to Sedarmayanti (2014: 5). The results of the research explain that the Cantian Customs District has implemented and implemented the principles of Good Governance which, when reviewed through PEKPPP, can be said to have fulfilled all existing principles, aspects and indicators.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to describe and describe the implementation of E-Workload Analysis in the process of fulfilling employees in the Legal and Cooperation Section of the City of Surabaya which is adjusted to the Regulation of the Minister of State Apparatus Empowerment and Bureaucratic Reform Number 1 of 2020 concerning position analysis and workload analysis and in Mayor Regulation Number 104 of 2023 concerning the work system within the Surabaya City Government for bureaucratic simplification. This study uses Edward III's theory of the policy implementation model using four influencing indicators, namely, communication, resources, disposition and bureaucratic structure. This research is a qualitative descriptive research with observation techniques adapted to data from the Legal and Cooperation Section of the City of Surabaya. The results of the study show that the implementation of the e-Workload Analysis policy in fulfilling employees in the Legal and Cooperation Section of the City of Surabaya has met the requirements and is in accordance with the workload borne by employees in each position because it is adjusted to its supporting aspects. However, in the implementation of filling out the e-ABK itself, there are still delays in filling because there is work that must be done, apart from that, there are still employees who do not understand the technical aspects of the work so that it is necessary to re-assist.
