Abstract

The development of technology in the industrial revolution 4.0 era has brought about major changes in the logistics distribution system. Technologies such as Artificial Intelligence (AI), Internet of Things (IoT), and robotic automation have become an important part in improving the efficiency, speed, and accuracy of goods distribution. One implementation that is often used by logistics companies is autonomous mobile robot (AMR). This research was conducted to examine the implementation of AMR use in the logistics sorting process, identify the driving and inhibiting factors, and assess the effectiveness of logistics distribution on operational efficiency, customer satisfaction, and HR efficiency at the Surabaya Postal Processing Center (SPP) Office, which is the logistics sorting branch office of PT Pos Indonesia. By using descriptive qualitative methods, data collection techniques through in-depth interviews, field observations, and operational documentation The results show that the use of robotic technology is able to provide time and cost efficiency, but also poses challenges such as limited human resource adaptation, and the need for high initial investment is an obstacle to the application of robotics. Therefore, the application of this technology needs to be balanced with an inclusive change management strategy in order to have a sustainable positive impact on the company.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to use the Altman Z-Score approach analysis to describe the level of corporate bankruptcy. This type of qualitative research uses secondary data from the financial statements of construction companies in 2020–2023. Of the eight companies, 7 companies were selected through purposive sampling. According to the Altman Z-Score analysis, a company is considered healthy if its Z-Score is greater than 2.99; a company that is at risk of bankruptcy and can be saved if its Z-Score is between 1.81 and 2.99; and a company that has a high risk of bankruptcy if its Z-Score is less than 1.8. Based on the results of the study, in the last four years, namely 2020, there were four bankrupt business entities and two business entities entered the gray zone. In 2021, five business entities had good status, while two business entities were categorized as bankrupt. In 2022, there were seven business entities that were classified as healthy. In 2023, there were seven business entities that were classified as healthy. Based on data analysis of construction companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange in 2020, 2021, 2022, and 2023, as many as 70 percent of state-owned companies are bankrupt or are expected to experience financial difficulties. In contrast, as many as 30 percent of non-state-owned companies are expected not to experience financial difficulties.

Abstract

Seeing the promising profit potential in the pharmaceutical sector, investors are starting to try to get profitable investment opportunities. However, investing in pharmaceutical company stocks is also not free from risk. This study aims to assess the feasibility of investing in pharmaceutical sub-sector stocks by comparing the expected return results using the Capital Asset Pricing Model (CAPM) equilibrium model and actual returns that provide investors with an understanding of the relationship between systematic risk and expected return. The method used is quantitative descriptive by processing secondary data from publications of the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX), Yahoo Finance and Bank Indonesia. The stocks of the companies studied are companies that have complete historical stock price data and are listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange without delisting from July 2021-June 2024. The results of this study reveal that out of 9 company samples, there are 4 efficient stocks with a feasible category, namely KLBF, MERK, TSPC, and SOHO because E(Ri)<Ri. So the most appropriate decision for investors regarding these stocks is to buy stocks and hold them and then sell them when the price goes up again to make a profit.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of Perceived Usefulness (PU), Perceived Ease of Use (PEU), and Intention to Use (ITU) on Behavioral Intention (BI) to use digital payment platforms for donation purposes among Gen Z Muslims in the Jabodetabek area. A quantitative approach was employed using the Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) method with the SmartPLS software. A total of 119 respondents were selected using purposive sampling techniques. The results show that perceived usefulness has a positive and significant effect on the intention to use digital payment platforms for donation. However, perceived ease of use and intention to continue using the platform do not have a significant impact on usage intention. These findings indicate that the perceived benefits such as efficiency, speed, and ease of access to donation features are the main factors influencing Gen Z Muslims’ intention to donate digitally. The R-square value of 0.449 indicates that the model has moderate predictive power. This study suggests that digital payment providers should strengthen the perceived usefulness of their applications and promote digital donation services through targeted education and awareness campaigns, especially among the younger Muslim generation.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze how Car Free Day (CFD) activities can increase the income of MSMEs (Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises) in Karangpawitan, Karawang. From a total population of 155 MSME owners, 38 respondents were selected based on specific criteria: they must have been selling in the area for at least two years, were willing to be interviewed, and represented one to two similar types of MSMEs. The research findings show that CFD has a significant impact on increasing MSME income. MSME owners who have other business locations experienced income increases ranging from 25% to 85%, while MSME owners based in Karangpawitan recorded increases of up to 700%. The highest increases occurred in December at 50% and April at 49%, coinciding with year-end holidays and Eid al-Fitr celebrations. Enterprises related to children’s entertainment and culinary sectors experience the most significant growth.
