Abstract

This study aims to identify the effect of Environmental, Social, and Corporate Governance (ESG) disclosure on the financial performance of companies in Indonesia, using Return on Assets (ROA) and Tobin's Q as indicators. Through panel data analysis of companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange during the period 2017-2021, this study find that ESG scores have a significant positive effect on company ROA, but have no significant effect on Tobin's Q. These results prove that ESG disclosures can provide relevant information about a firm's financial performance, with ROA as a more responsive indicator to ESG factors. The implication of this study is that it is important for firms to improve their ESG disclosures to gain investor confidence and improve their financial performance.

Abstract

This study aims to determine whether career development, income, and supervisor supervision have an influence on job satisfaction of BCA KCU MASJID LAMA bakti intern employees. The population in the study were all apprentice employees of BCA KCU MASJID LAMA, totaling 100 people. The sample method used in this study is the saturated sample method because of sampling all employees. This study uses multiple linear regression analysis techniques. The results of this study indicate that career development and supervisor supervision have a significant effect on job satisfaction while income has no significant effect on job satisfaction.

Abstract

This study aims to identify how Transparency and Service Quality influence Muzakki's decisions to pay Zakat at Baznas Kabupaten Kepulauan Meranti. Data in this study is processed using quantitative analysis through the partial least square (PLS) approach in the Structural Equation Model (SEM), utilizing the statistical software SmartPLS 3.0. The data collection instrument was a Likert scale questionnaire. The research sample was taken using non-probability sampling method, with purposive sampling technique, resulting in 150 respondents from Muzakki in Kabupaten Kepulauan Meranti.The results of this study indicate that the transparency towards Muzakki's decision to pay zakat on the path coefficients with the original sample value of 0.129 means it has a positive effect with the t-statistic value obtained of 1.278 with a p-values value of 0.202 which is greater than 0.05, thus having a non-significant effect. The service quality variable has a positive and significant effect on Muzakki's decision to pay Zakat at Baznas Kabupaten Kepulauan Meranti. The transparency and service quality variables together have a simultaneous influence on Muzakki's decision to pay Zakat by 47%, while the remaining 53% is explained by other external variables not investigated in this study.

Abstract

Monetary policy has a significant impact on the national economy by regulating money circulation and controlling the level of inflation in a country. In Indonesia there is a dual monetary system consisting of a conventional monetary system and an Islamic monetary system, of course there are differences between the two. So this research aims to understand how the dual monetary policy transmission flow operates in Indonesia, as well as the role of Islamic banks in the dual monetary policy transmission process. The research method used is literature study. So the results of this research show, although there are differences in the conventional and Islamic monetary systems, they are not much different, the difference lies in the principles and instruments used, the principles used in the Islamic monetary system are based on sharia economics. The role of Islamic banks in the transmission of dual monetary policy in Indonesia is very important, namely providing a positive impact on economic growth, this refers to the financing side through funding and sharia financing.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the effect of capital structure, company size and profitability on the value of banking sector companies. Capital structure variables are proxied with Debt to Equity Ratio (DER), company size variables are proxied with natural logarithms of total assets, profitability is proxied by Return on Equity (ROE) and company value is proxied by Price to Book Value (PBV). In this study using a verifiative descriptive research method with a quantitative approach. The data in this study is secondary data obtained from the Indonesia Stock Exchange. The sample used was 138 out of 46 banking companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange in 2020-2022. The data processing technique uses multiple linear regression analysis using SPSS version 25. The results of this study show that capital structure has no effect on the value of the company. While the size of the company and profitability affect the value of the company.

Abstract

MSMEs are in a positive trend with their numbers continuing to increase every year. In determining the selling price of MSME products, they must manage and plan their finances efficiently. Q-Jho Chips MSMEs have never used cost volume profit analysis in planning their profits. CVP analysis will help Q-Jho Chips MSMEs to understand the relationship between production costs, production volume, selling price and profits generated. By understanding this relationship, Q-Jho Chips MSMEs can make smarter decisions regarding setting selling prices, optimal production volumes and cost control strategies. The research method used is a descriptive qualitative research method. The location of this research was carried out at the , Q-Jho Chips MSMEs . The data analysis method used in this research is descriptive with a case study approach. Furthermore, in 2024 Q-Jho Chips wants to increase profits by 5%, so a cost volume profit analysis is carried out. According to the calculations that have been made, it can be seen that the sales that must be made in 2024 are IDR 227,608,575 and generate a profit of IDR 96,442,521.

Abstract

The sharia financial sector, especially sharia pawnshops, is very interesting to study because of its strategic role in an economy based on Islamic principles. In this context, variables such as inflation, gold prices and pawnshop income greatly influence the operations and financial performance of Islamic financial institutions. Quantitative research is used to investigate how pawnshop income, gold prices and inflation rates influence the distribution of rahn financing. The aim of this research is to look at the influence of pawnshop income, gold prices and inflation rates on the distribution of rahn financing as well as the indirect influence through ROA at sharia pawnshops in Indonesia for the 2018-2022 period. This research analyzes all sharia pawnshop financial reports in Indonesia from 2018 to 2022, with 60 samples. The data analysis method used is path analysis using the Windows Eviews12 program. The research results show that pawnshop income, gold prices, inflation have no effect on ROA. Pawnshop income, inflation, ROA have no effect on rahn distribution. Gold prices influence rahn distribution. Pawnshop income, gold prices, inflation do not have a significant effect on the distribution of rahn financing through ROA, or ROA cannot mediate the influence of pawnshop income on the distribution of rahn financing in the 2018-2022 period.

Abstract

This research aims to test and analyze social media marketing at local souvenir companies in Yogyakarta (Case Study on Instagram Bakpia Mandiri 214). Model and hypothesis testing was carried out using a sample of 40 respondents. Data was taken directly using a questionnaire with a population of consumers or followers from Bakpia Mandiri 214 Instagram. Sampling used non-probability sampling techniques. Hypothesis testing uses the Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) model which is processed using the SMART-PLS program. The variables in this research are Social Media Activity, Brand Awareness, Brand Image, E-Wom, and Commitment. These variables form the objective of the hypothesis in this research. This research provides results that Social Media Activities have a positive effect on Brand Awareness. Social Media Activities have a positive effect on Brand Image, Brand Awareness has a positive effect on E-Wom. Brand Awareness has a positive effect on Commitment. Brand Image has a positive effect on E-Wom, Brand Image has a positive effect on Commitment.

Abstract

The concept of green banking is a concern of financial institutions today, including Islamic financial institutions. Because with this concept, banks are expected to be able to have a positive impact on the environment, both in bank operational activities as well as credit and loans provided to customers. The background of this research is to find out how much awareness generation z has to use Islamic bank services based on their attention to the environment. As well as knowing the extent of the influence of their knowledge about green banking in the interest in using Islamic bank services. In this study, a quantitative method was used using the hair formula to determine the number of samples to be used. This hair formula is to determine the number of samples that are not known with certainty, so that 135 samples of generation z of Malang city are obtained randomly with this research method using nonprobability nonprobability sampling. The data was processed using SPSS. The results showed that interest in using Islamic bank services was positively and significantly affected by the green banking knowledge variable, while awareness had no effect on interest in using Islamic banking services.

Abstract

This research aims to test the effectgrowth, firm size, environmental  performance and media exposure to carbon emission disclosure. Growth measured by profit growth, firm size measured from the company's total assets, environmental performance is measured from the company's PROPER rating and media exposure is measured using a dummy variable. Carbon-intensive industries are given a score of 1 and non-carbon-intensive industries are given a score of 0. The presence of media coverage is given a score of 1 and vice versa. This research was conducted at the high profile company listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange for the period 2020, 2021 and 2022. The research method in this study uses the hypothesis testing method with modeling Structural equation modeling(SEM) using SmartPLS software version 3.0. Based on testing in this research, it can be concluded that Growth  has a significant positive influence on Carbon Emission Dislosure, Firm Size has no significant effect on Carbon Emission Disclosure, Environmental Performance does not have a significant effect on Carbon Emission Disclosure, and Media Exposure significant positive effect onCarbon Emission Disclosure.
