Abstract

This study aims to investigate the effects of brand image and price on purchasing decisions for Vivo cell phones at Renni Cell Pampangan outlets, Ogan Komering Ilir Regency (OKI). Measurement of the sample used the Slovin formula with a final total of 53 respondents. Data were analyzed using the multiple linear regression method. Partially, the results evidence that each brand image and price affects purchasing decisions. Simultaneously, brand image and price influence purchasing decisions. This research is beneficial for the smartphone brand Vivo. To market its products, especially in the demographics outside the city, Vivo must consider brand image and price because these two factors influence purchasing decisions.

Abstract

This study aims to investigate the influence of social media marketing on album purchase decisions, as well as to explore the causes of the wide reach of fans in Palembang City in deciding to purchase the Idol K-pop album IZONE. Data from fans who use Instagram and Twitter are collected through a questionnaire. This study implements a simple linear regression method to analyze data. The results of the investigation show that social media marketing has a significant effect on the decision to buy Idol K-pop album IZONE. This study can provide insights for K-pop idol agencies. The result indicates that to reach Indonesian fans and affect purchasing decision, an agency should optimise their social media marketing strategy.

Abstract

Dewasa ini sektor usaha mikro, kecil, dan menengah berkembang sangat pesat.  Sub sektor usaha mikro dan kecil yang potensial untuk dikembangkan adalah bisinis kuliner.  Kota Palembang terkenal akan kuliner ‘Pempek’nya.  Pempek adalah produk konsumsi yang potensial dan menjadi peluang bisnis yang menjanjikan.  Sekarang ini bisnis Pempek menjamur di Kota Palembang . Produk ini diproduksi oleh berbagai tipe usaha mulai dari mikro, kecil, dan menengah (SMEs). Dalam program ini, dipilih mitra usaha kecil Pempek yang ada di kawasan sentra Pempek 26 Ilir dan 2 Ulu Palembang.  Mitra usaha memiliki potensi untuk dikembangkan.  Sama halnya dengan pengusaha pempek lainnya, perhatian mitra terhadap kemasan sangat kurang.Tujuan dari program pengabdian ini adalah untuk meningkatkan kesadaran akan pentingnya pembaharuan kemasan (packaging innovation). Dengan penggunaan kemasan yang lebih menarik diharapkan omzet penjualan berhasil ditingkatkan sehingga meningkatkan hasil keuntungan para pengusaha.Kata kunci: kemasan, pembaharuan, packaging inovasi.

Abstract

All companies need qualified employees to ensure the continuity and progress of the company. Therefore, some companies are very selective in evaluating employee performance based on the criteria set by the company. However, because of the many criteria used in the assessment, a large number of contract employees to be evaluated, and the evaluation that must be proportional, the Human Resources department has difficulty evaluating the performance of contract employees. Therefore, this study aimed to develop a system for evaluating the performance of contract employees by integrating the Best-Worst (BW) and Simple Additive Weight (SAW) methods. The BW method is used to determine the weight of each criterion related to the performance appraisal of contract employees, and the SAW method is used to evaluate the performance of contract employees. The results showed that the system developed can provide a more proportional evaluation. So, this study contributes as a recommendation system for HR managers in determining eligible contract employees to have their work contracts extended based on criteria determined by the company.

Abstract

Global technological progress requires English as a second language to be learned after Indonesian. Introduces English to children from an early age will facilitate the process of adapting itself to the advancement of information technology which requires knowledge of the English language in the future. Introduce English language in early childhood is not easy, at this time the child is more likely to want to play than the study. The most appropriate way to introduce English to young children is through an interactive game with the look and sound that contain words, numbers, and objects in the English language. Research took the example of the introduction of English language in early childhood in TAMAN KANAK-KANAK ANNISA. Recognition method used was still manually, use English textbooks and teaching aids in the form of images and text. Methods of data collection research are done by direct observation to study sites and interviews to the principal, teachers, and parents. Educational game application designed and constructed using analysis method waterfall, as well as applied to the smartphone and tablet android devices. The research concludes that very educational game to help teachers and parents as teaching media to introduce the English language. Results of the study suggest that applications can be continuously developed to achieve better results.Key words : Educational Game, English Language, Learning

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effects of current ratio (CR) and quick ratio (QR) on return on assets (ROA) in the food and beverage sub-sector listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange. Financial report data were collected through documentation, literature study, and observation. This study implemented multiple linear regression methods to analyze data. The results of the investigation prove that partially CR has a significant effect on ROA. On the other hand, QR has no significant effect on ROA. Simultaneously, CR and QR have a significant effect on ROA. This research offers empirical evidence on the discussion of CR, QR, and ROA especially for the food and beverage industry.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of debt to asset ratio (DAR) and debt to equity ratio (DER) on return on assets (ROA) in food and beverage industry companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (BEI). The data used in this study are secondary data obtained from the company's financial statements. The analytical method applied in this research is multiple linear regression method. The results prove that the debt to asset ratio (X1) has a significant negative effect on return on assets (Y). Debt to equity ratio (DER) (X2) has a significant positive effect on return on assets (ROA) (Y). This research is useful for companies to increase their return on assets through debt to asset ratio and debt to equity ratio).

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to analyze and prove the influence of leadership style, competence, and motivation on employee performance. This research was conducted for 5 months (January-May 2022) at the Office of the Badan Keuangan dan Aset Daerah Kota Kupang. This research is classified as quantitative research using a method of survey confirmative verification (associative). The research population was 103 employees whose sample was determined based on the census technique (saturated sample) so the sample was 103 respondents. The type of research data consists of primary data and secondary data. Techniques to obtain data using questionnaires (Likert scale), interviews, and documentation. Data analysis used multiple linear regression analysis (partial test and simultaneous test). The results showed that leadership style, competence, and motivation positively and significantly affected performance either partially or simultaneously. This is because the entire t-count value obtained by each variable is greater than the t-table and also the F-count is greater than the F-table with a significance value of < α 0.05. The contribution of leadership style to performance is 60.2%, competence to performance is 52.9%, and motivation to performance is 43.7%. In general, the contribution of leadership style, competence, and motivation variables to performance is 68.1%.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to analyze and prove the effect of WFH, organizational commitment, and organizational culture on employee performance. This research was conducted for 5 months (January-May 2022) at the General Secretariat of the Kupang City Government. This research is classified as a quantitative study using a confirmative verification (associative) survey method. The research population was 105 employees whose sample was determined based on the census technique (saturated sample) so the sample was 105 respondents. The type of research data consists of primary data and secondary data. Techniques to obtain data using questionnaires (Likert scale), interviews, and documentation. Data analysis used multiple linear regression analysis (partial test and simultaneous test). The results showed that the variables of WFH, organizational commitment, and organizational culture had a positive and significant effect on employee performance either partially or simultaneously. This is because the entire t-count value obtained by each variable is greater than the t-table and also the F-count is greater than the F-table with a significance value less than 0.05. The results of this study also show the contribution of the WFH variable to employee performance by 67.9%, organizational commitment to employee performance by 55.8%, and organizational culture to employee performance by 49%. Simultaneously, the contribution of WFH, organizational commitment, and organizational culture to employee performance is 74%. Based on the results of this study, the biggest contribution to employee performance is the implementation of the WFH policy, followed by organizational commitment, and organizational culture.

Abstract

The purpose of the study was specifically to obtain the results of the analysis of the effect of the variable handling of public complaints, the effectiveness of service time, and service quality on community satisfaction partially or simultaneously. The research method uses descriptive and verification surveys, and field data collection uses questionnaires, interviews, and documentation techniques. This research is associative research, where in this study there are variables that are related and can influence other variables. The population of this study was 2,103 people who visited and took care of population administration and civil registration documents at the Kupang City Population and Civil Registration Office. Based on the population, the sample was determined by purposive sampling using a probability of 10% from the Slovin respondent determination technique so that the sample of research respondents became 96 people. Processing data using SPSS 25 analysis tools. Testing data using t-test, that the handling of public complaints has an effect on community satisfaction with t-count 15.319 > t-table 1.98552, there is an effect of service time effectiveness on community satisfaction, with t-count 21.180 > t-table 1.98552, quality service affects the community satisfaction with t-count 2.159 > t-table 1.98552 and the handling of public complaints, the effectiveness of service time and service quality affect community satisfaction with F-count > F-table or 149.667 > 2.47. The common thread of research is that the handling of public complaints, the effectiveness of service time, and service quality have a positive and significant effect on community satisfaction at the Office of Dinas Kependudukan dan Pencatatan Sipil Kota Kupang, either partially or simultaneously.
