Abstract

In the wake of Society 5.0 phenomenon this article delves into the intricate interplay between technological progress and national security. Society 5.0 envisions a world where technological innovations, including IoT, Artificial Intelligence, Big Data, and robotics, are harnessed to enhance the fabric of societal life including in national security. While promising unprecedented positive developments particularly in national security and intelligence, this paradigm shift also unfurls a double-edged sword, presenting unforeseen challenges. The era's impact on security and intelligence encompasses increased data connectivity and sharing, paving the way for advanced intelligence technologies such as AI and IoT, and predictive analytics. However, these positive strides are juxtaposed against contemporary challenges that demand practical solutions, commitment, and ample resources. The article meticulously navigates through the labyrinth of these challenges, emphasizing the need for a holistic approach. It unfolds in three parts: exploring the challenges of intelligence and national security in the Society 5.0 era, understanding these challenges to shift towards discussing implementation of intelligence measures in this era to safeguard national security, and finally, culminating in a conclusion that underscores the necessity of commitment, resources, and robust cross-sector collaboration to effectively leverage the positive potential of Society 5.0 in securing nations against present and future security challenges.

Abstract

The focus of this study discusses natural damage as negative changes in the natural environment, especially as a result of human activities. Air, water, and soil pollution, as well as climate change are the main elements that contribute to the destruction of nature, threaten the sustainability of ecosystems and cause biodiversity loss with negative impacts on human health. This study aims to explore the belief of Manggarai people in nature spirits. In their belief, nature spirits are considered the guardians of the balance of the ecosystem, and every element of nature is inhabited by spirits possessing spiritual power. The destruction of nature is seen as a disturbance to the spirit of nature, creating disharmony in the ecosystem and the potential for natural disasters. The study highlights the importance of not only maintaining physical ecosystems but also maintaining spiritual balance with the spirits of nature. This study uses literature methods sourced from books and scientific articles that are in accordance with this discourse. The results of this study provide deep insight into the belief system of the East Manggarai people towards nature spirits. Abstract

Kepok banana peel puree is used in making American cookies as an effort to utilize local food. The research was conducted to analyze the effect of the formulation using kepok banana peel puree in the manufacture of American cookies on consumer acceptance. This research was conducted at the Pastry and Bakery Processing Laboratory, Culinary Education Study Program, Faculty of Engineering, Jakarta State University. The method used in this research is the experimental method. The research sample was American cookies with the use of kepok banana skin puree with a percentage of 10%, 20% and 30%. Then it was tested on 25 slightly trained panelists who assessed aspects of color, aroma, taste, inner texture, outer texture, crumb, and shape. In this research, it is expected to obtain modifications of American cookies with kepok banana peel puree which are preferred and rich in fiber and can optimize the utilization of kepok banana peels as a functional local food. From the results of the Friedman test, the best treatment is the result of the kepok banana peel puree formulation as much as 20%.

Abstract

This research is an experimental study that aims to find out how to make mushroom meatballs with the addition of soybean flour. This type of research is quantitative research with experimental methods. The data analysis techniques used are the Anova test and the Friedman test and further tests using the Tuckey test. In Indonesia, soybeans are a strategic commodity because they are one of the most important crops after rice and corn. Indonesian people like to consume processed soybean products, for several reasons, namely the price is relatively cheap and the nutrition is high. One process that can improve quality and storage is making flour. Making soybean flour involves washing the soybeans using clean, running water, then the process of soaking, boiling, draining the soybeans, then oven, grinding, and finally sieving. The process of making oyster mushroom meatballs with the addition of soy flour includes weighing all the ingredients, mixing and molding, boiling, and packaging. In the Organoleptic test, the results of the researcher's acceptance of the preferred quality of soy flour oyster mushroom meatballs were with the addition of 5% soy flour with an average value of the outer color of 4.2, the inner color of 4.10, texture of 3.97, elasticity of 4.07, aroma 4.2, taste 4.33, and shape 4.2. From the ANOVA test in terms of color, aroma, texture, taste, overall, it shows that there is no significant effect.

Abstract

This paper examines the process of examining marriage dispensation cases prior to and following the enactment of Supreme Court Regulation Number 5 of 2019 concerning Guidelines for Adjudicating Marriage Dispensation Cases. This paper was written using a qualitative research method, specifically normative and empirical juridical approaches. According to the findings of this study, the provisions of Supreme Court Regulation Number 5 of 2019 have explicitly regulated several things that are not specifically regulated in the formal and material rules governing marriage dispensation. The adoption of this regulation is an anticipation and standardization for judges in making legal decisions, so that court decisions pay more attention to the best interests of children when granting a marriage dispensation application.

Abstract

Local microorganisms (MOL) are one of the means in helping the process of plant growth made from organic materials. In this study, MOL was made from banana peels and other fruit skins, and java sugar was added when fermented for two weeks. Its use is carried out with four treatments: control, 1: 2, 2: 1, and 3 days. This study used quantitative data by observing the growth of tomato plants (Solanum lycopersicum) for 21 days, which experienced significant changes in their growth. Banana peel contains macro elements C, N, P, and K. Meanwhile, Javanese sugar in MOL can be used by microorganisms to obtain glucose for food. Local microorganisms have environmentally friendly properties and can help the plant growth process by working in the soil through plant roots. Despite these findings, the study exhibits limitations in experimental control and measurement of other variables influencing tomato plant growth beyond MOL utilization. Additionally, the significance of observed growth changes lacks clarity, warranting further investigation.
