Abstract

Business development requires companies to have a competitive advantage in order to compete with their competitors. Nowadays, consumers are more selective in making purchases to fulfil their needs and desires. Therefore, it is important for companies to implement marketing strategies that are oriented towards competitive advantage in order to attract potential market. Based on research conducted by the Frontier Consulting Group, it is known that McDonald's Top Brand Index (TBI) is ranked 2nd with the TBI value of 25.40%. McDonald's is still below its competitor KFC with the TBI value of 27.20%. The top brand index is an indicator of a brand's performance based on 3 criteria in its assessment, namely mind share, market share and commitment share. This study aims to determine the effect of promotion and service quality on purchasing decisions at McDonald’s Palangka Raya with brand image as the intervening variable. The sampling technique in this study uses the Cochran formula so that the sample size was obtained 100 respondents. The results showed that promotion, service quality and brand image each had a positive and significant effect on purchasing decisions at McDonald’s Palangka Raya. Then, in the mediation test, brand image didn’t become the intervening variable and was unable to mediate variable promotion and service quality in this research model.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memahami perilaku keuangan dosen muda di Universitas Palangka Raya (UPR) melalui pendekatan kualitatif dengan desain fenomenologi. Dosen muda, yang biasanya berada di awal karir akademis mereka, sering menghadapi tantangan unik dalam mengelola keuangan mereka. Melalui desain penelitian fenomenologi, penelitian ini berusaha untuk mengeksplorasi dan memahami pengalaman subjektif dosen muda dalam membuat keputusan keuangan. Data penelitian dikumpulkan melalui wawancara mendalam, observasi dan dokumentasi, serta dianalisis dengan teknik analisis fenomenologi terhadap 8 (delapan) informan yang tersebar di 8 (delapan) fakultas di UPR. Dari hasil wawancara mendalam terhadap 8 informan ditemukan bahwa perilaku keuangan dosen muda dipengaruhi oleh latar belakang pendidikan, profesi dan fakultas tempat mereka bernaung. Meskipun terdapat perbedaan preferensi dan pendekatan dalam pengelolaan keuangan, para dosen muda secara umum menunjukkan kesadaran yang tinggi akan pentingnya literasi keuangan, perencanaan keuangan dan diversifikasi pendapatan. Temuan ini menunjukkan bahwa pendidikan dan latar belakang profesi memainkan peran penting dalam membentuk perilaku keuangan individu. Individu-individu ini juga menghadapi berbagai tantangan karena mereka harus membagi fokus di luar kegiatan tridharma perguruan tinggi seperti pengajaran, penelitian dan pengabdian masyarakat. Abstract

This article discusses increasing the capacity of teachers' human resources (HR) through training in using the Bamboozle and Quizziz digital platforms in interactive learning. The main problem faced is the lack of teacher skills in using educational technology, which has an impact on the level of student participation in the learning process which is still low. The aim of this research is to improve teachers' skills in utilizing digital platforms to create more dynamic and participatory learning. The method used is intensive training involving theory sessions and direct practice for teachers at SMA Negeri 3 Palangka Raya. The results of the training showed a significant increase in teacher skills, which had a positive impact on student engagement during the teaching and learning process. The conclusion of this article is that integrating technology such as Bamboozle and Quizziz can be an effective solution to face the challenges of the digital era, including creating an interactive and more interesting learning environment.

Abstract

This study examines the influence of digital marketing on purchase intention for the IndiHome product, with brand awareness serving as an intervening variable. The study contributes to a deeper understanding of the effectiveness of digital marketing strategies in enhancing customer purchase intention and strengthening brand awareness. The research employs the Partial Least Squares-Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) method with a quantitative approach. Data were collected through a questionnaire distributed to 100 IndiHome customers in Palangka Raya. The results indicate that digital marketing has a significant impact on purchase intention, both directly and indirectly through increased brand awareness. These findings highlight the importance of effective digital marketing strategies in enhancing brand awareness and driving customer purchasing decisions. The implications of this study can assist PT Telkom in optimizing its marketing strategies to improve IndiHome's competitiveness in the telecommunications industry.

Abstract

Fenomena job-hopping atau kecenderungan berpindah kerja dalam waktu singkat menjadi tren signifikan di kalangan generasi Z, yang membawa implikasi hukum terhadap hubungan kerja antara karyawan dan perusahaan. Artikel ini menganalisis bagaimana hukum ketenagakerjaan di Indonesia mengatur hak dan kewajiban karyawan serta perusahaan dalam kasus pengunduran diri mendadak. Fokus utama penelitian ini adalah ketentuan notice period, klausul non-kompetisi, dan dampaknya terhadap perjanjian kerja dan kontrak yang berlaku. Berdasarkan analisis normatif, ditemukan bahwa pengunduran diri mendadak sering kali melanggar ketentuan kontrak, sementara klausul non-kompetisi dapat menimbulkan konflik hukum jika dianggap membatasi kebebasan karyawan. Artikel ini merekomendasikan perlunya revisi regulasi untuk menciptakan kerangka hukum yang lebih responsif, termasuk fleksibilitas dalam masa pemberitahuan dan pengaturan klausul non-kompetisi yang proporsional. Penelitian ini diharapkan dapat menjadi acuan dalam mengelola dinamika ketenagakerjaan yang terus berkembang di era modern.

Abstract

Abstract

Community Service Activities (PKM) with the theme financial education aim to build a culture of financial literacy among Isen Mulang Palangka Raya Middle School students. PKM activities were initiated and implemented by lecturers and students from the Faculty of Economics and Business, Palangka Raya University. There were 16 students who attended this educational activity consisting of 6 class VII students, 3 class VIII students, and 7 class IX students. Student enthusiasm is very high. This is demonstrated by the high level of interaction between students and presenters as well as responses from written questionnaires distributed by the Team at the end of the activity. There are 7 questions related to financial management asked by students to the presenters as well as 12 quizzes from the presenters which the students are able to answer.

Abstract

The importance of adapting human resource management (HRM) strategies becomes increasingly fundamental in the rapid development of technology and changing workforce needs in this digital era. The objective of this research is to explore how HRM strategies can be adapted to meet the challenges and opportunities faced by Generation Z in the digital era, with a focus on enhancing career maturity. Additionally, the aim is to identify key factors in the effective implementation of HRM strategies for Generation Z that contribute positively to career maturity in the digital era. In the research titled "Human Resource Management Strategies for Generation Z: Challenges and Opportunities in the Digital Era for Career Maturity Enhancement," a qualitative approach can be a highly relevant method to provide in-depth understanding of the dynamics between HRM strategies, challenges faced by Generation Z, and career maturity improvement. The research findings indicate that personalized career development plans are an effective strategy to meet the individual needs of Generation Z, considering their preference for recognition of each individual's uniqueness. Through this personalization, organizations can build stronger bonds with employees and create more meaningful experiences.

Abstract

ABSTRACTThis community service activity aimed to strengthen human resource capacity through Green Human Resource Management (GHRM) and green innovation in the prospective Kampung Nelayan Merah Putih located in Tanjung Putri and Sei Ijum Raya Villages, Central Kalimantan. The activity adopted a participatory action research approach involving local communities in every stage, from identification to training evaluation. The program was designed through three integrated components: socialization on green innovation, training on GHRM, and green marketing practice. The training increased participants’ understanding of sustainable human resource management and environmental awareness. The pre-test and post-test results indicated an average knowledge improvement of more than 40 percent, showing a significant shift in participants’ behavior toward environmentally responsible practices. The integration of GHRM and green innovation proved effective in empowering coastal communities, strengthening village institutions, and encouraging the emergence of sustainable economic initiatives. This model demonstrates that environmentally-based capacity building can be replicated in other coastal villages to promote inclusive green and blue economy development.Keywords: Green Human Resource Management, green innovation, green marketing, coastal community, sustainable developmentABSTRAKKegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk memperkuat kapasitas sumber daya manusia melalui penerapan Green Human Resource Management (GHRM) dan inovasi hijau di Calon Kampung Nelayan Merah Putih yang berlokasi di Desa Tanjung Putri dan Desa Sei Ijum Raya, Kalimantan Tengah. Kegiatan dilaksanakan dengan pendekatan participatory action research yang melibatkan masyarakat secara aktif dalam setiap tahap, mulai dari identifikasi masalah hingga evaluasi pelatihan. Program ini dirancang melalui tiga komponen utama, yaitu sosialisasi tentang inovasi hijau, pelatihan GHRM, dan penerapan green marketing. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan peningkatan pengetahuan peserta lebih dari 40 persen dan perubahan perilaku menuju praktik ramah lingkungan. Integrasi antara GHRM dan inovasi hijau terbukti efektif dalam meningkatkan kapasitas masyarakat pesisir, memperkuat kelembagaan desa, serta mendorong munculnya inisiatif ekonomi berkelanjutan. Model pelatihan ini dapat direplikasi pada desa pesisir lain untuk mendukung pembangunan hijau dan ekonomi biru yang inklusif.Kata Kunci: Green Human Resource Management, inovasi hijau, green marketing, masyarakat pesisir, pembangunan berkelanjutan
