Abstract

This research is entitled Character Education through the Role of Islamic Boarding School in the Era of Globalization (Case Study of Pondok Pesantren Attholibiyah Bumijawa Tegal). The purpose of this study was to determine the role of Attholibiyah Islamic boarding school in shaping students in the era of globalization, as well as to determine the character of Attholibiyah Islamic boarding school students. The method in this research uses qualitative research methods, this research is included in field research and uses qualitative descriptive analysis. The data sources in this study are primary data sources and secondary data sources, the primary data sources are the caretaker of Attholibiyah Islamic boarding school, Utad/ustadzah, PERSABI administrators, students. Secondary data sources in this study are pesantren archives and related literature. Data collection techniques in this study used techniques, observation, documentation and interviews. The results or conclusions of the research show that the character of Attholibiyah Islamic boarding school students is reflected in everyday life where character values instilled in Attholibiyah Islamic boarding school students such as courtesy, caring, responsibility, patience, independence, and humility. The Attholibiyah Bumijawa Islamic boarding school has carried out the role of pesantren education in shaping the character of students in the era of globalization through the study of the yellow book and the study of reading and writing the Qur'an, providing exemplary examples in daily life in the pesantren, habituation of goodness in daily life in the pesantren, giving advice and punishment and also through extracurricular activities.

Abstract

Strategy of strengthening character education in Madrasah Diniyah Takmiliah Ula (MDTU) Nurul Islam Educational Institution Tembok Luwung Village RT 29 RW 06 Adiwerna Subdistrict. This research is a descriptive qualitative research. Data were collected using observation, interview, and documentation techniques. Data validity checking was carried out using triangulation techniques, namely by checking the information from interviews with documentation and observation. The results showed that the strategy of strengthening character education in Madrasah Diniyah Takmiliah Ula (MDTU) Nurul Islam Educational Institution Tembok Luwung Village RT 29 RW 06 Adiwerna District can be done through: integrating values and ethics in subjects, internalizing positive values instilled by all residents of madrasah diniyah, habituation and practice, giving examples and role models, creating an atmosphere of character in madrasah diniyah, and acculturation.

Abstract

Many students have not been able to master the learning material. The students do not fully understand the material even though the teacher has explained. Students quickly feel bored with the material taught because of the monotonous learning process, this is what does not give an impression and increase student activeness, so that their learning outcomes are not satisfactory. This is known by researchers when researchers conducted observations at MI Raden Fatah 02 Grobog Wetan, Therefore, researchers have examined using snakes and ladders learning media in an effort to increase student learning activeness in Al-Quran Hadith subjects. And the research objectives in this study are to increase student activeness in learning. The research method used is Classroom Action Research (PTK), which is research intended to provide input on how to take the right action to increase student activeness in learning Al-Quran Hadith. This class action research will be carried out through four stages, namely planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. Then the research subjects in this study were all 6th grade students of MI Raden Fatah 02 consisting of 8 male students and 12 female students. With the application of snakes and ladders learning media, students actively participate in learning activities, students no longer sit still and the results of learning activeness obtained by students in Al-Quran Hadith subjects are in the very good category. This can be proven from the results of observer observations during the research process that students are very active during the learning process. This study concludes that the application of snakes and ladders learning media can increase student learning activeness in the subject of Al-Quran Hadith QS. Al-Qadr.

Abstract

This research aims to find out: 1) Is there an effect of using teaching aids on the learning mint of grade 5b students of MI Islamiyah Babakan in science subjects. 2) How much influence the use of teaching aids has on the learning mint of grade 5b students of MI Islamiyah Babakan in science subjects. The type of research conducted is qualitative research using the pre-experimental design method using observation and interview techniques. The object of this research is class 5b students of MI Islamiyah Babakakn Kec. Baksiu Kab. Tegal with a total of 22 students. The results obtained show that the success of the learning process is reviewed from the aspect of grade completeness and student activeness in learning science. In class 5b, both aspects have been fulfilled when science learning is carried out with the help of teaching aids. All students were very enthusiastic while following the learning from beginning to end. It is different when learning without teaching aids, only some are always active until the end of learning. So the use of teaching aids has a big influence on students' interest in learning science subjects.

Abstract

Teaching-learning activities are the main function and the most strategic effort to realize the institutional goals carried out by the institution. In the context of carrying out these institutional functions and tasks, the teacher places a position as a central figure. This study aims to determine the relationship of teachers to the student learning process. the method in this research is a literature review or literature study, which contains theories that are relevant to the problems in the research conducted by researchers. The role of the teacher in the modern world of education as it is today is increasing from being just a teacher to a director of learning. Consequently, the duties and responsibilities of teachers have become more complex and heavy as well, so that every teacher is expected to be clever in directing student learning activities in order to achieve learning success (academic performance) as set out in the objectives of PBM (Teaching and Learning Process) activities.

Abstract

The problem of character is one of the problems that always concerns every nation. The occurrence of a degradation of character values or the loss of a character will certainly be a setback for every nation. One of the characters that must be embedded is religious character which is the attitude and responsibility of a person towards his god. MI Islamiyah Babakan has anticipated this by collaborating with Madrasah Diniyah Islamiyah in instilling religious character to its students. This study aims to: (1). To find out the strategy of religious character formation through the Diniyah Madrasah program. (2). To find out the strategy plan for students' religious character through the Diniyah program at MI Islamiyah Babakan Lebaksiu Tegal. This research uses a qualitative approach. Data collection by researchers using interviews, observations and documentation. The results of this study indicate that the implementation of madrasah diniyah activities at Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Islamiyah has two activities, namely reading and writing the qur'an and strengthening lessons. Each activity nurtures different religious character values. Both activities give birth to the character of love for the Qur'an, ruhul jihad or a soul that always wants to strive, likes to worship and has morals.

Abstract

The concept of "malakah" as outlined by Ibn Khald?n in the Muqaddimah book is the construction of his thoughts on education. He places learning as a natural phenomenon for human civilization. The achievement of the malakah is formulated as the ability or behavior changes formed through the process of training with sincerity and complete mastery in the process of actualizing learning. Malakah means ownership that is rooted in the soul, not just understanding and memorization (cognitive) alone. To strengthen the achievement of malakah. Ibn Khald?n presented the theory of scientific discussion (al-mu??warah wa al-mun??arah) and the continuity of learning (itti??l) as supporters. It means that the learning formula as an optimization of the achievement of malakah developed by Ibn Khald?n is aimed at achieving three domains at once, cognitive, affective and psychomotor. At this level the meaning of malakah can be equated with professionalism for students.

Abstract

This study examines the RA Head Management in the field of teacher HR. It is against this background that management owned by RA is not very good in the field of Teacher HR. This causes a lack of public trust in education held at RA Nurul Hidayah Jembayat Margasari. The purpose of this study was to determine the profile of coconut management in RA Nurul Hidayah Jembayat Margasari and provide recommendations for the formula for the Management of RA Heads in the field of Human Resources in Improving the quality of education in RA Nurul Hidayah Jembayat Margasari. Research methods using a qualitative approach, data analysis techniques using data reduction, with the method of taking data through observation, interviews and documentation. The data obtained are presented in a qualitative form and then conclusions are drawn as well as checking the validity of the data, extension of observation and perseverance. The results of this study are that RA Nurul Hidayah Jembayat Margasari has the goal of helping to lay the foundation towards the development of attitudes, knowledge, skills and creativity needed by students in adjusting to the environment. Its existence is used as a forum and trust by the local community to educate the children of the nation so that these children can develop in accordance with the educational goals to be achieved by RA Nurul Hidayah Jembayat Margasari. The strategy efforts undertaken are divided into 3 types, namely strategies in the field of human resources, strategies in the field of management and strategies in the field of facilities and infrastructure. Principal management maximizes human resources through training and education for teachers to produce abilities and increase knowledge in teaching students according to established standards.

Abstract

Studi kasus dan studi literatur mengenai asesmen pada matakuliah berbasis sains dan matakuliah ilmu sosial disajikan dalam makalah ini. Makalah ini memfokuskan pembahasan pada penggunaan asesmen otentik dalam perkuliahan. Asesmen otentik yang dimaksud dalam penelitian ini adalah penilaian proses perkuliahan yang digunakan untuk mengungkap kemampuan mahasiswa secara utuh pada berbagai aspek (pengetahuan, sikap, keterampilan) melalui tugas-tugas dalam konteks kehidupan nyata. Dengan berbagai keunggulan yang dimilikinya, asesmen ini dapat digunakan dalam perkuliahan berdampingan dengan penggunaan asesmen tradisional yang perannya saling melengkapi. Penggunaan asesmen otentik dalam perkuliahan adalah alternatif solusi yang dapat dilakukan oleh dosen untuk membantu mahasiswa yang mengalami kendala dalam perkuliahan/kesulitan belajar di institusi pendidikan tinggi. Keragaman mahasiswa Institut Agama Islam Bakti Negara (IBN) Tegal yang berasal dari berbagai latar belakang sosial, budaya, usia, bahkan profesi tentunya juga memengaruhi keberagaman kemampuan mahasiswa dalam proses perkuliahan. Melalui asesmen otentik yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini, mahasiswa difasilitasi untuk memahami hakikat perkuliahan, agar mereka memiliki bekal pengetahuan, keterampilan dan sikap yang positif dalam menunjang kehidupannya di masa depan.

Abstract

This study is about Sufi healing, which focuses on behaviors related to Sufi healing in the prevention of diseases, both physically and non-physically caused by various problems faced by humans. According to the Sufi perspective, the problem is rooted in the heart. Therefore, healing is emphasized in the health of the heart, through takhall?, ta?all? and tajall? with training (riy??ah) and earnest (muj?hadah) by the murshid or therapist. In this process, therapists use Neuro Linguistic Programming (NLP) as a technique to facilitate the incorporation of Sufi values. This type of research is qualitative. The method of analysis uses descriptive-qualitative. data sourced from GRISS 99 Semarang. The results of this study are the application of the NLP technique as a Sufi healing technique that aims to purify the soul, through takhall?, ta?all? and tajall?, as the key to meaningfulness of life.
