Abstract

This research aims to analyze public communication strategies in socializing social assistance in the Family Hope Program. This research is a qualitative descriptive research with data collection methods using interviews and documentation. Data analysis was carried out using descriptive analysis. The results of this research found that the public communication strategy carried out in the first stage was carried out with an assessment of potential beneficiaries by looking at a set of data from each village that had submitted an application. At this stage the planning element had entered from the provision of human resources based on companions, coordinators from sub-district, district to regional levels. Both implementations of socialization use communication strategies of counseling and mentoring by utilizing facilitators and module-based learning media. Third, the reporting stage, at this stage the communication that is formed is one-way communication by utilizing information technology, that each companion has an account that can be accessed to carry out daily, weekly to monthly reporting. The results of this research also found that the obstacles felt by the administrators of the Family Hope Program in disseminating social assistance were that there were frequent technical disruptions in the communication process, apart from that there was a culture of disseminating information in stages which resulted in the dissemination of information and solving problems in the field being quite hampered and slow. Based on these results, it can be seen that the communication strategy carried out by the Family Hope Program Manager in disseminating social assistance uses the five-step communication strategy model from Hafied Cangara and also changes in attitudes from Heath and Littlejohn. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis strategi komunikasi publik dalam mensosialisasikan bantuan sosial pada Program Keluarga Harapan. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian deskriptif kualitatif dengan metode pengumpulan data menggunakan wawancara dan dokumentasi. Analisis data yang dilakukan menggunakan analisis deskriptif. Hasil penelitian ini menemukan bahwa startegi komunikasi public yang dilakukan adalah tahap pertama dilakukan dengan assesment calon penerima manfaat dengan melihat sekumpulan data dari masing-masing desa yang telah melakukan pengajuan, pada tahap ini telah memasuki unsur perencanaan dari mulai penyediaan sumber daya manusia berbasis pendamping, koordinator dari tingkat kecamatan, kabupaten hingga regional. Kedua pelaksanaan sosialisasi menggunakan strategi komunikasi penyuluhan dan pendampingan dengan memanfaatkan fasilitator dan media belajar berbasis modul. Ketiga, tahap pelaporan, pada tahap ini komunikasi yang terbentuk adalah komunikasi satu arah dengan memanfaatkan teknologi informasi, bahwa masing-masing pendamping telah memiliki akun yang dapat menjadi akses untuk melakukan pelaporan harian, mingguan hingga bulanan. Hasil penelitian ini juga menemukan bahwa kendala yang dirasakan oleh pengelola Program Keluarga Harapan dalam mensosialisasikan bantuan sosial adalah sering terjadi gangguan teknik dalam proses komunikasi, selain itu muncul budaya penyebaran informasi secara berjenjang yang mengakibatkan penyebaran infromasi serta penyelesaian masalah dilapangan cukup terhambat dan lambat. Berdasarkan hasil tersebut, dapat diketahui bahwa strategi komunikasi yang dilakukan oleh Pengelola Program Keluarga Harapan dalam mensosialisasikan bantuan sosial dengan menggunakan model strategi komunikasi lima langkah dari Hafied Cangara dan juga perubahan sikap dari Heath dan Littlejohn.

Abstract

Hypertension is a non-communicable disease that increases every year. The CERDIK program is one of the non-pharmacological treatments that can be used in an effort to prevent hypertension. This study aims to determine the relationship between smart behavior and hypertension at the Pekayon Village Health Center in 2024. This study uses a quantitative method with a Cross Sectional design. The sample consisted of 96 respondents using Accidental Sampling as the sampling technique. Data analysis used univariate, bivariate, and multivariate analysis. This study shows that at the Pekayon Village Health Center there are 91 people (71.7%) who routinely do health checks. Avoiding cigarette smoke is in the good category as many as 88 people (69.3%), diligently doing physical activity as many as 84% ​​(66.1%), having a balanced diet as many as 88 people (69.3%), getting enough rest as many as 84 people (66.1%), and being able to manage stress well as many as 105 people (82.7%). The results of this study indicate that there is a relationship between CERDIK behavior and hypertension with a p value of <0.05, so there is a correlation between CERDIK behavior and the level of hypertension in patients at the Pekayon Village Health Center.

Abstract

The aim to be achieved in this research is to improve students' ability to memorize Arabic vocabulary at the Yakesma civil learning home. Another aim of using Flash Card media is to make learning effective and very optimal between reaction and motivation, students are very active and enthusiastic in memorizing Arabic vocabulary. This research uses qualitative methods, this type of research is field research, to obtain field data several methods are used, namely, direct observation, interviews and documentation. This research was conducted on students with a total of 20 students. The results of this research show that learning using flash card media improves students' memorization abilities and increases their mastery of Arabic vocabulary. Students find it easier to understand vocabulary using flash card media because they can see directly the images on the flash card. With the Flash Card method, students get direct learning experience so that learning is more interesting and avoids student boredom and can improve student learning outcomes. From the data, it can be recommended to teachers to use the Flash Card method, especially in learning Arabic, to improve students' mastery of Arabic vocabulary.

Abstract

Starting from the main boarding school, which in this case is used and tried by the Sidogiri Pasuruan Islamic boarding school, many other boarding schools also use the Al-Miftah lil Ulum method, including the Islamic boarding school that the author will research, namely the Miftahul Ulum Pandanwangi Islamic boarding school which has applied the Al-Miftah lil Ulum Method since the beginning of 2018. During this period, at least it can be analyzed from the implementation and learning process. This Sidogiri cottage can be implemented well and the maximum is with the same time, producing different qualities; quality equals shorter time, better quality with a short period of time. However, the learning effectiveness of a method applied in an institution will show significant differences in results with other institutions that also apply the method. This is certainly influenced by several things, both in terms of process, inhibiting and supporting factors, as well as other factors such as the environment and the like. The focus and objectives of this study are 1) Learning planning of the Al-Miftah lil Ulum method in improving the competence of reading the yellow book at the Miftahul Ulum Pandanwangi Islamic Boarding School, 2) Organizing the learning of the Al-Miftah lil Ulum method in improving the competence of reading the yellow book at the Miftahul Ulum Pandanwangi Islamic Boarding School, 3) The implementation of the Al-Miftah lil "Ulum method in improving the competence of reading the yellow book at the Miftahul Ulum Pandanwangi Islamic Boarding School,  4) Evaluation of the Al-Miftah lil Ulum method in improving the competence of reading the yellow book at the Miftahul Ulum Pandanwangi Islamic Boarding School. This study uses a descriptive qualitative approach with a case study research type. The techniques used in data mining are interviews, field notes, images, photos, video recordings and so on. Based on the results of the research, the following conclusions can be obtained: 1) Learning planning of the Al-Miftah lil Ulum method Holding a meeting with a number of asatids at the Miftahul Ulum Pandanwangi Islamic Boarding School 2) Organizing the learning of the Al-Miftah lil Ulum method Individual approach, Each class has a companion teacher who has gone through special training, so that students can focus on one material and get an in-depth explanation without being disturbed 3) Implementation learning the Al-Miftah lil Ulum method Gradual approach: The material is presented in four volumes, starting from the most basic to a more complex level 4) The evaluation of learning the Al-Miftah lil Ulum method is multi-stage, Flexible, Comprehensive, and has clear goals.

Abstract

Sidoarjo Regency is listed as one of the three regions in East Jawa Province that will experience the most disasters in 2022, which could threaten the safety of its citizens, especially groups vulnerable to disasters, one of which is children. The Taruna Siaga Bencana (TAGANA) aims to provide early education to students on how deal with disaster in order to reduce the risk of disaster occurring. This research aims to determine and analyze the success of implementing TAGANA Masuk Sekolah program in Sidoarjo Regency. The research method used is descriptive qualitative. Data collection uses interviews, observation, and documentation. This research uses a policy implementation model focus according to Geoge C. Edward III which consists of (i) Communication, (ii) Resources, (iii) Disposition, (iv) Bureaucratic Structure. The technique for determining informants uses purposive sampling anda snowball sampling. The results of this research indicate that the implementation of Tagana School Entry program in Sidoarjo Regency has not been implemented wel. This is because there are still obstacles in communication and officers do not receive incentives, which can affect the success of implementing a policy.

Abstract

The challenge of Higher Education Institutions (HEIs) in Indonesia plays a crucial role and requires enhancement. The pivotal role of HEIs in Indonesia is multifaceted. These institutions play a crucial part in shaping the country's cultural and religious identity, while also providing education that aligns with contemporary demands. This study explored the performance and soft skills among lecturers and administration staff in Islamic HEIs. The study emphasizes performance and soft skills based on managerial effectiveness in Islamic HEIs in Indonesia. The performance and soft skills explored from critical analyses of global literature. The study was conducted in Lombok, Indonesia, among 3 Islamic HEIs. Methods used were literature review, observation, and in-depth interviews. The software used was NVIVO 14 with the relative thematic analysis of the study. Findings on the HEIs model soft skills proposed to address enhancing administration staff performance and lecturer performance. By nurturing these soft skills, organizations thrive when they cultivate alignment, creativity, adaptability, and effective management and avoid mushroom management. Mushroom management in the context of organizational management and leadership styles represents a management style that is characterized by secrecy, lack of transparency, and limited employee involvement in decision-making processes. The results proposed the model to address enhancing administration staff performance through alignment value, change management, and Islamic leadership. The model addresses enhancing lecturer performance through alignment value, change management, Islamic leadership, and divergent thinking. By nurturing these soft skills, organizations thrive when they cultivate alignment, creativity, adaptability, and effective performance management. Administration staff performance impacts the lecturer’s performance besides the lecturer’s performance itself. Research suggests that organizations can benefit greatly from nurturing soft skills and adopting more transparent and inclusive leadership practices to avoid mushroom management. The practical implication of this research proposed model for enhancing administration staff and lecturer performance in Islamic higher education institutions (HEIs) includes administration staff performance enhancement through aligning individual roles with organizational objectives, implementing change management strategies, monitoring performance through key indicators, and applying Islamic leadership principles. Lecturer Performance enhancement through aligning course objectives with institutional goals encouraging research alignment, promoting pedagogical innovations, and fostering visionary leadership.

Abstract

The growing flexible work trend marks a fundamental shift in the work paradigm in the modern era. Flexibility in the work environment is becoming increasingly important, especially in public sector organizations, to increase employee productivity and well-being. The Ministry of Finance, as a government institution responsible for public financial management, is also not immune from the need to adapt to these changes. This research aims to review the implementation of Flexible Working Space (FWS) as a new approach at the Ministry of Finance to improve employee efficiency and welfare. The research method used is a qualitative research method with a case study research approach. The research results show that the implementation of FWS in the Ministry has had a positive impact, such as increasing work flexibility and balance between employees' work and personal lives (work-life balance). However, challenges such as adapting to long-established work culture, performance and productivity management, how to maintain and increase a sense of togetherness and collaboration among employees, as well as data and information security issues still need to be addressed. Thus, implementing FWS in the Ministry of Finance can be an effective approach to improving organizational performance and employee welfare, but requires careful strategies in overcoming the associated challenges.

Abstract

Bojonegoro Regency has a low rate of Kartu Identitas Anak (Child Identity Card) issuance, reaching only 34.75% of the national target, which should have been 50% in 2023. The factors hindering the issuance of Kartu Identitas Anak in Bojonegoro Regency include a lack of public awareness, the absence of regulations requiring the use of Kartu Identitas Anak for any child-related identification purposes, a lack of support from other institutions or agencies, and inadequate infrastructure. To address this, Dinas Kependudukan dan Pencatatan Sipil (the Civil Registry Office of Bojonegoro Regency) launched the "Daakian" innovation in 2021, aimed at increasing the issuance of Child Identity Cards in Bojonegoro Regency. This study aims to understand and analyze the implementation of the Daakian innovation service in Bojonegoro Regency. The research method used is descriptive qualitative. Data collection involved interviews, observations, and documentation. This study uses Rogers' Innovation Theory, which consists of 1) Relative Advantage, 2) Compatibility, 3) Complexity, 4) Trialability, and 5) Observability. The technique for determining informants uses purposive sampling and snowball sampling. The results of this study indicate that the implementation of the Daakian Innovation in Bojonegoro Regency has been successful. This success is attributed to the Daakian Innovation providing greater ease for the public in Kartu Identitas Anak compared to the previous service. This ease has attracted public interest in obtaining Kartu Identitas Anak, which has positively impacted the increase in Kartu Identitas Anak issuance in Bojonegoro Regency.

Abstract

This research aims to explore the benefits of using digital media in the context of organizational communication organizing the Hajj pilgrimage in North Sumatra. The focus of the research is on analyzing the role of digital media in various aspects of organizing the Hajj pilgrimage as well as evaluating the level of satisfaction felt by various related parties, such as prospective Hajj pilgrims, pilgrim families, organizing organizations and government stakeholders. The research method applied is a qualitative approach with data collection techniques through in-depth interviews, participatory observation and documentation studies. The collected data was analyzed thematically by coding and categorizing to identify main patterns and themes. The research results show that digital media has a significant role in disseminating information, internal coordination, training and guidance, service and support, as well as documentation and archives related to the implementation of the Hajj pilgrimage in North Sumatra. The use of digital media provides satisfaction for various parties by providing easy access to information, monitoring worship trips, efficient communication and coordination, as well as transparency and accountability. However, this level of satisfaction is influenced by factors such as accessibility, content quality, and ease of use of digital media. Therefore, this research provides recommendations for improving the quality and effectiveness of the use of digital media in organizational communications organizing the Hajj pilgrimage in North Sumatra.
