Abstract

As time progresses, technology continues to advance. The connection with learning about technological advancements is due to the fact that a good education system will produce excellent human resources and advance a country. The higher the quality of education in a country, the more advanced that country will become. Conversely, the poorer the quality of an education system in a country, the more it will lag behind. Teachers require new media to support learning. This need arises because the lecture method commonly used can seem monotonous. Therefore, students are less motivated to actively participate in learning. The purpose of this research is to increase the interest and motivation of students at MTs Ar-Ridho Medan in studying Islamic education subjects by utilizing and developing learning through Canva-based learning media. Teachers design this resource as a learning aid. This research is qualitative descriptive research. The results show that Canva-based learning media can be used by teachers, leading students to become interested in increasing their interest and motivation in learning at school. This research illustrates that the use of the Canva application in teaching the Quran and Hadith is engaging.

Abstract

Fundamental changes take the form of technological evolution that looks for loopholes to influence human life. The current era of revolutionary transformation has triggered widespread mental health disorders in Indonesia which continue to increase. It is noted that the majority of suicide cases in Indonesia are young people and the biggest factor is mental health. Because mental health greatly influences a person's quality of life. Currently we have entered the disruption phenomenon, which is a major part of the global scale. Where in the era of disruption there is a mental health crisis. It can be seen that cases of young people are increasing. The aim of this research is to find out mental health in the era of disruption and the solutions in the Al-Qur-an and Hadith. The method used in this research is library research, namely a series of activities relating to library data collection methods. This research uses a qualitative approach and then describes it descriptively. For the results, the solution is to build one's foundation with the Al-Qur'an, multiply good works and avoid evil (amar ma'ruf nahi munkar). Build a good relationship with Allah by remembering Him more (dhikr). Then develop relationships with others and their environment. The source of a human's strength lies in his self-esteem. Self-esteem is the most important axis in strengthening mental health.

Abstract

This research aims to describe and analyze the implementation of early warning system policies in the regions under the Kesbangpol (National Unity and Politics Agency) of North Kalimantan Province and identify factors that support and hinder the implementation of these policies in the region. The research method used is a phenomenological case study model. The results indicate that the implementation of early warning system policies in North Kalimantan Province has not been fully successful, given the increase in types of crimes and criminal activities over the past two years. Additionally, there are still several district governments that have not yet established FKDM (Early Warning Community Forum) as required by this policy, as stipulated in the Ministry of Home Affairs Regulation No. 46 of 2019 concerning Early Warning Systems. Supporting factors for the implementation of early warning system policies in North Kalimantan Province include: (a) the standards and targets of the early warning system policy have been well implemented; (b) inter-organizational relationships indicate good communication and coordination among all stakeholders; (c) the characteristics of policy implementers are good, with the primary implementer being the Kesbangpol agency, which is organizationally suitable for implementing early warning policies; (d) the social, political, and economic conditions are conducive, and political elite support is very good; (e) the disposition/attitudes of policy implementers show a strong understanding of the content and objectives of the early warning policy. On the other hand, the factors hindering implementation include: the number and competence of human resources, as well as inadequate budgetary resources and facilities.

Abstract

Traffic accidents often occur in everyday life. Many factors cause traffic accidents to occur. Contributors to the high number of traffic accidents are two-wheeled drivers. So an air vest is needed that can reduce the effects of impact if an accident occurs. In this research, an air vest for two-wheeled riders will be designed. Equipped with an IoT-based tilt sensor. This research designs an IoT-based air vest for two-wheeled riders to reduce the impact effects during an accident. This vest is equipped with a tilt sensor which is similar to the function of airbags in four-wheeled vehicles. The way the vest works is that when the sensor detects a certain tilt programmed into the Arduino, the vest will inflate. The main components of this vest are the Arduino Uno ATMega 328 and the MPU-6050 gyroscope sensor. Prototype testing showed a 60% success rate with a development time of 7-10 seconds. However, hands-on testing provided satisfactory results with a 100% success rate and consistent development time of 7-10 seconds. This vest is expected to improve the safety of everyday two-wheeled riders.

Abstract

This article explores the interpretation of almsgiving to non-Muslims according to the views of Nahdlatul Ulama (NU) and Muhammadiyah (MU). It is grounded in Surah Al-Baqarah, verse 272, which discusses the Prophet Muhammad's guidance against limiting almsgiving exclusively to Muslims and prohibits offering humanitarian assistance with the condition of converting to Islam. The study investigates how NU and MU understand almsgiving to non-Muslims, particularly focusing on their interpretation of the boundaries of almsgiving within the framework of Surah Al-Baqarah, verse 272, and their perspectives on its legal implications. The research uses a qualitative approach, gathering data through direct observations and interviews with NU leaders. The findings reveal that both NU and MU, based on their interpretations and scriptural evidence, concur that Allah SWT does not forbid acts of kindness toward non-Muslims who have established peaceful relations and do not engage in hostilities against Muslims. The verse also does not prevent fair treatment of them. The shared understanding between NU and MU is reflected in the similar meanings of Surah Al-Mumtahanah, verse 8, and Surah Al-Insan, verse 8, which underscore the principle of justice without religious bias. The conclusion is that almsgiving to non-Muslims is permissible. This study seeks to convey this perspective to the broader community and members of Islamic organizations, referencing relevant tafsir texts to provide a thorough explanation of the debate on almsgiving to non-Muslims and the interpretation of Surah Al-Baqarah, verse 272

Abstract

Marriage is defined as an inner innate bond between a man and a woman to form a family that is sakinah, mawaddah, warahmah. Ideally, marriage is carried out by those who are mentally ready and old, but it is not uncommon to find many marriages under the age set by law. The marriage age limit is regulated in Law Number 16 of 2019 concerning Marriage, namely both men and women must be at least 19 years old. Data from UNICEF states that Indonesia alone has 1.2 million cases of underage marriage. The purpose of this study itself is to see the efforts made by the government in terms of overcoming the problem of early marriage in the Karanganyar area. The research method carried out is qualitative with a case study approach, or data is taken according to the stipulation of criteria that have been set previously. The results of the research obtained from the Karanganyar Regency DP3APPKB are efforts made by the government, namely by educating the public about the risks of early marriage and what negative impacts will be felt. The data is then processed using the structural perspective of Talcott Parsons' functionalism, in the concept of AGIL (Adaptation, Goal Attainment, Integration, Latency).

Abstract

As time progresses, da'wah work continues to be carried out by each group of the Muslim movement which has its own way of carrying out its da'wah. One of them is the Tablighi Jema'ah. To awaken the spiritual spirit in the self and life of every Muslim, the Tablighi Jema'ah has its own management. This research will describe (1) how the management of the Tablighi Jema'ah increases awareness of worship in the Medan Area sub-district community. (2) Tablighi Jema'ah profile. (3) What are the obstacles faced in the da'wah management process by the Tablighi Jema'ah? The method used in this research is a qualitative method with data collection techniques in the form of interviews (randomly) and observation in the context of searching and extracting information and collecting data. The results of this research show that the Tablighi Jema'ah implements da'wah management in its da'wah process, namely using da'wah management functions (planning, organizing, mobilizing or implementing da'wah and evaluation). The material presented by the Tablighi Jema'ah was related to the mahdah worship and the rewards for good deeds performed. Apart from that, the Tablighi Jema'ah also invites congregational prayers at the mosque and brings the mosque to life. The Tablighi congregation conveys its preaching through studies and coming directly to people's homes. However, there are still several obstacles in the process of da'wah management, such as material readiness when preaching and responses in the community, but this is not a significant problem for them, because through good management all obstacles can be overcome well.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to reveal the religious practices carried out by prostitutes. This study is a qualitative descriptive study. The data collection methods used are interview methods, observation methods and documentation methods. The results of the study show that: First, the choice to enter the world of prostitution is a materialistic demand that must be met, which usually comes from a broken home and as a widow or someone who is responsible as the backbone of the family. Second, for prostitutes, the job is tempting, and can empower families and improve the economy. The results of the study show that being a prostitute does not make them non-religious people. They even realize that the profession they do is a sin, even so they do not blame God for what happened to them. They believe that what they do is due to coercion due to materialistic demands that they must fulfill and hope that God will forgive their actions. Besides that, if viewed from the Dramartugi theory related to the front and back stage of a sex worker, almost all sex workers play a role, when they become sex workers they act according to their profession, namely by dressing up, wearing sexily, speaking gracefully, with the aim of seducing customers while on the other hand, when at home they behave normally like society in general.
