Abstract

Pendidikan nonformal melalui pusat kegiatan belajar masyarakat (PKBM) memainkan peranan penting dalam menyediakan layanan pendidikan bagi masyarakat yang tidak tersentuh pendidikan formal. Namun, rendahnya motivasi belajar warga di PKBM Generasi Amanah menjadi masalah yang serius dan menghambat pencapaian tujuan pendidikan. Faktor internal seperti minimnya minat, persepsi negatif terhadap manfaat pendidikan, dan kondisi fisik maupun psikologis warga belajar, serta faktor eksternal seperti stigma sosial dan lingkungan yang tidak mendukung, turut memengaruhi motivasi belajar mereka. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengidentifikasi dan menganalisis faktor-faktor penyebab rendahnya motivasi belajar warga belajar di PKBM Generasi Amanah serta menyarankan strategi peningkatan motivasi melalui pendekatan holistik dan penyesuaian prinsip-prinsip andragogi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan perlunya intervensi multi-level yang melibatkan lembaga, komunitas, dan individu agar motivasi belajar warga dapat meningkat secara berkelanjutan.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the impact of the English Day extracurricular activity on character building among elementary school students. The research was conducted using a qualitative descriptive approach at SD Negeri 4 Lintong Nihuta. Data were collected through observation, interviews, and documentation related to the implementation of English Dayactivities. The findings reveal that English Day positively contributes to students’ character development, particularly in fostering confidence, responsibility, discipline, and teamwork. Students become more courageous in communicating using English, more responsible in completing assigned tasks, and more disciplined in adhering to school rules during activities. Group-based tasks such as educational games and drama performances also enhance cooperation and respect among peers. Nevertheless, challenges remain, including teachers’ limited English proficiency and a lack of activity variation and learning facilities. Overall, English Day serves not only as a medium for improving English language skills but also as an effective character education program that shapes students into more confident, disciplined, and collaborative individuals. Future implementations should emphasize teacher involvement, creative program design, and parental support to optimize outcomes.

Abstract

This research aims to find out how the process of implementing Islamic Religious Education Learning in developing the independent character of autistic children and to find out the factors that cause the slow independence of autistic children. This research is a qualitative descriptive research, the informants in this research are the Islamic Education Teacher at SLB Negeri 1 Panti, two guardians class, head of curriculum and principal of SLB Negeri 1 Panti. Data was collected by observing, interviewing and documenting. The results of the research show that: he preparation of an Islamic religious education learning program in developing the independent character of autistic children is carried out by preparing appropriate materials, appropriate methods, and evaluating learning. Implementation of Islamic religious education learning in developing the independent character of autistic children is carried out by instilling moral values ​​using demonstration methods and direct question and answer. The learning process is carried out based on: subject matter, methods, objectives and learning evaluation. The factors that cause the slow independence of autistic children are caused by several things, such as the habit of autistic children asking for help from others, the influence of friends, teachers who do not understand the character of autistic children and the lack of direction from parents in developing the independent character of autistic children.

Abstract

This study aims to theologically analyze the doctrine of eschatology, the teaching about the end times, from the perspective of the Bible and systematic theology in the Christian church. Eschatology is a very important part of the Christian faith, because it affirms God's plan that will be realized through the second coming of Jesus Christ. This study uses a library study method by studying various theological sources such as the scriptures, the works of the church fathers, and the thoughts of modern theologians. The results obtained show that eschatology is not only related to the end of the world, but also includes new hope, the renewal of creation, and the fulfillment of God's promise of salvation. This teaching has deep spiritual and ethical meaning, because it invites Christians to live in readiness, obedience, and loyalty to God. By understanding this doctrine, believers are reminded that life on earth is temporary, while the true hope is eternal life with Christ. Eschatology also plays a role in shaping the moral and social responsibility of the church, so that it can be a witness to God's love and truth in the midst of the world.

Abstract

Critical thinking ability is an important skill in facing the challenges of the 21st century because it includes the ability to think logically, systematically, and rationally in evaluating information and solving problems. One of the effective learning models to foster these abilities is the SQ3R (Survey, Question, Read, Recite, Review) model. This study aims to describe the implementation steps, advantages, and disadvantages of the SQ3R model in social studies learning at Madrasah Aliyah Negeri 2 Rembang. The research used a qualitative approach with the subject of social studies teacher, and data collection techniques through interviews, observation, and documentation. The results showed that the steps of applying the SQ3R model include reading survey activities, preparing questions, reading and answering, and reviewing material to strengthen understanding. The advantages of the SQ3R model include the use of relatively short time, increased student concentration, active and directed learning, and repetition of reading that helps deep understanding. The disadvantages are that it requires more time and teacher skills in managing the class. It is concluded that the SQ3R model is effectively applied in social studies learning as a strategy to improve students' critical thinking skills in madrasah.

Abstract

Anggaran sekolah merupakan instrumen krusial untuk mencapai tujuan pendidikan. Pengelolaan anggaran, terutama Dana Bantuan Operasional Sekolah (BOS), menuntut penegakan pilar etika (transparansi, akuntabilitas, kejujuran) dan profesionalisme (kompetensi dan kepatuhan hukum). Penelitian deskriptif ini bertujuan mendeskripsikan penerapan etika dan profesionalisme serta mengidentifikasi kendala internal dan eksternal dalam penganggaran di SMA Negeri 5 Binjai. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan wawancara langsung dengan pihak-pihak terkait penganggaran. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penerapan etika dan profesionalisme di SMA Negeri 5 Binjai sudah berjalan cukup baik, ditandai dengan upaya menjaga kejujuran dan tanggung jawab melalui pengawasan berlapis, serta partisipasi guru dan komite sekolah dalam penyusunan RKAS. Profesionalisme ditunjukkan dengan kepatuhan pada Juknis BOS dan pelaporan daring. Kendala utama yang dihadapi meliputi keterbatasan SDM dan beban kerja bendahara (internal), serta keterlambatan pencairan dana BOS dan perubahan regulasi (eksternal). Penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa etika dan profesionalisme adalah fondasi penting untuk pengelolaan keuangan pendidikan yang akuntabel dan transparan, meskipun isu transparansi anggaran di tingkat sekolah masih sensitif.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan proses penyusunan Rencana Kegiatan dan Anggaran Sekolah (RKAS) di SMAN 1 Percut Sei Tuan, menganalisis keterlibatan pihak-pihak terkait, mengidentifikasi kendala selama penyusunan, dan menemukan solusi serta strategi untuk meningkatkan efektivitas penyusunan RKAS. Tujuan ini sejalan dengan upaya peningkatan transparansi, akuntabilitas, efektivitas, dan efisiensi penggunaan dana sekolah guna mendukung mutu pendidikan yang berkelanjutan. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif dengan teknik pengumpulan data melalui wawancara mendalam terhadap pihak-pihak yang terlibat, di antaranya kepala sekolah, guru, bendahara, dan komite sekolah. Analisis data dilakukan dengan menguraikan jawaban responden untuk memahami proses penyusunan RKAS dan keterlibatan seluruh pihak secara menyeluruh. Hasil penelitian mengungkapkan bahwa penyusunan RKAS sudah dilakukan secara partisipatif dengan melibatkan berbagai pemangku kepentingan, namun terdapat kendala berupa keterbatasan anggaran, pemahaman teknis terhadap juknis BOS, dan tekanan waktu dalam penyusunan. Sekolah menggunakan dana SPP sebagai pelengkap dana BOS untuk memenuhi kebutuhan yang tidak tercakup. Selain itu, upaya sosialisasi internal dan peningkatan kapasitas menjadi solusi penting untuk memperbaiki kualitas penyusunan RKAS. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, disarankan agar SMAN 1 Percut Sei Tuan mengadakan pelatihan teknis rutin bagi guru dan staf terkait juknis penggunaan dana BOS dan aplikasi ARKAS. Penyusunan anggaran harus diprioritaskan untuk program utama yang berdampak langsung pada peningkatan mutu pendidikan. Transparansi penggunaan dana SPP juga perlu ditingkatkan dengan keterlibatan aktif komite sekolah. Selain itu, perencanaan waktu penyusunan RKAS harus diperbaiki agar tidak dilakukan secara terburu-buru, dengan membentuk tim inti yang siap mengelola data secara matang.

Abstract

This article examines the relationship between faith and good works from a Christian perspective. The purpose of this article is to explain that salvation is a gift from God received through faith in Jesus Christ, not the result of human effort. However, true faith always produces good works as evidence of a transformed life. The research method used is qualitative theological, with a literary study approach to the Bible and the views of theologians such as Louis Berkhof and Martin Luther. The results of the study indicate that faith and works are inseparable; faith saves, while good works are a manifestation of obedience and love for God. Good works are not a requirement for salvation, but rather a living and active expression of faith. Therefore, the balance between faith and works needs to be continuously emphasized in the education and lives of Christians so that the faith that is professed does not remain theoretical but is manifested in acts of love that glorify God.

Abstract

This study aims to explore the understanding of Christology regarding the humanity of Jesus Christ and its relevance for believers. Using a qualitative literature review method, this research analyzes biblical texts and theological literature to examine Jesus' human nature, His salvific mission, and the practical application of His teachings. The findings indicate that Jesus Christ, as the God-man, demonstrated perfect human qualities including compassion, humility, honesty, and patience. His death and resurrection provide redemption from sin, fulfilling God's salvation plan. The study concludes that Christological understanding enables Christians to emulate Jesus' teachings in contemporary life through evangelism, love, and prayer. These findings offer significant implications for Christian education, church ministry, and the spiritual development of believers in maintaining a Christ-centered life.

Abstract

Lung disease remains one of the leading causes of morbidity and mortality in Indonesia. Factors such as smoking habits, unhealthy lifestyles, and low awareness of respiratory health have significantly contributed to the increasing prevalence of this condition. This study aims to classify lung health conditions using the Decision Tree C4.5 algorithm, a data mining technique widely applied in medical analysis. The dataset consists of 132 respondents with various attributes, including age, gender, smoking habits, sleep patterns, and medical history. The model was validated using the percentage split method, A total of 80% of the data was allocated for training the model, while the remaining 20% was used for testing its performance.The results show that the C4.5 algorithm successfully classified lung disease risk into two categories, “Yes” (at risk) and “No” (not at risk), with a high level of accuracy. The model effectively identified the key factors contributing to lung disease risk, such as smoking habits, late-night activity, age, and insurance ownership. These findings confirm that the Decision Tree C4.5 algorithm is a reliable and efficient tool for the early detection of respiratory diseases and can support data-driven decision-making in the healthcare field.
