Abstract

The purpose of preparing this work is to assist students in writing articles to improve their writing and publication skills. The ABCD method, which includes Needs Analysis, Forms of Mentoring, Process Analysis Methods, and Personal and Group Support, is the main basis for guiding Islamic Religious Education students at INSURI Ponorogo in improving their writing and publication skills through careful and holistic mentoring strategies. The results of this work reflect comprehensive assistance steps in improving the writing and publication skills of students in the Islamic Religious Education Study Program. In the initial stage, high enthusiasm can be seen through understanding the material, discussing ideas, and guiding literature. Article assistance begins with planning, guiding the structure of the article, and developing research skills. When writing drafts, students are guided in understanding the topic, intensive feedback, and strengthening the logic of scientific publications. The revision stage includes checking the narrative flow and critical analysis, aimed at improving the quality of the article. Language and writing style assistance involves language continuity and grammatical considerations. Journal selection is discussed in depth, increasing students' practical understanding. Preparation for publication involves guiding article submissions to journals, providing support in editorial responses, and helping students develop as writers and researchers. This assistance aims to achieve quality articles and increase students' self-confidence in the academic world.

Abstract

An entrepreneur is an innovator who can turn an opportunity into a business idea that can add value. Entrepreneurs also play a big role in the economy, namely by contributing to increasing economic growth and creating jobs which will have an impact on increasing state income. This research aims to determine the entrepreneurial potential among students at the North Sumatra State Islamic University by running a melted chocolate banana chips business. This research method is included in the qualitative research type, by conducting various literature reviews on entrepreneurship. The population studied in this research includes all individuals on the UIN North Sumatra campus, from children to adults. The results of the research show that this activity has a positive impact on a student to dare to try, never give up, train self-confidence and train the entrepreneurial spirit that exists in students. Based on the results of these activities, it can be concluded that the importance of developing entrepreneurship among students is very significant. Through this development, the younger generation can grow and develop better. Currently, the level of student entrepreneurial potential is at a very high and high level.

Abstract

Mangrove forests are one of the most comfortable places for several types of living creatures. This service aims to strengthen the protection of coastal area ecosystems and restore mangrove forest habitat in the country. This service method uses the Participatory Rural Appraisal (PRA) Model which is used in community service activities, prioritizing community empowerment to participate in Mangrove planting activities in Lagoi Bintan. This activity is a collaboration of the peak event of national mangrove planting activities simultaneously in 370 locations in 37 provinces in Indonesia and is carried out in two main series, namely the direct opening via Vicon (Video Conference) by the President of the Republic of Indonesia Ir. H. Joko Widodo (Jokowi) was then followed by planting mangroves simultaneously by all activity participants. The result of this service is that the national mangrove planting program has had a measurable positive impact in mitigating the risk of natural damage and developing the local economy throughout Indonesia, especially the Lagoi Bintan area. It is hoped that it can be an example of how environmental preservation can go hand in hand with sustainable development, preserving natural resources while improving community welfare. So, planting mangroves in Lagoi Bintan is not only an environmental conservation effort, but also a strategic step to improve the economic welfare of the local community.

Abstract

This accelerated certification program is a solution for the government in protecting assets in the form of land which is very vulnerable to problems. The aim of this research is to analyze and evaluate the implementation of the regional property certification program. This research uses a qualitative approach with the action research method, where this method has five stages, namely: Diagnosing, Action Planning, Taking Action, Evaluating, Specifying Learning. Data collection techniques were carried out by means of direct observation and interviews with regional property managers in the area of BPPKAD district asset management. Gresik. The results of the research show that with the implementation of this accelerated asset certification program, it can be recognized that the implementation has gone well, even the regional land assets that have been certified have exceeded the specified targets. However, BPPKAD Kab. Gresik also still needs to carry out outreach regarding asset security and regular monitoring activities. Due to several obstacles, this program did not run optimally.

Abstract

Fish is the biggest asset in Lako Akelamo Village, West Halmahera Regency. Since Lako Akelamo Village was formed, most villagers have worked as fishermen due to the abundance of fish resources in Lako Akelamo Village. This is proven through an interview with the Department of Food Security, Agriculture, and Fisheries Unit 1, which stated that in the past two years, more precisely in 2019-2022, Sahu was one of the contributors to the largest fish catch in North Maluku for two consecutive years. This service activity aims to empower homemakers through targeted counseling, education, and skills training, encouraging their active participation in income-generating activities. The assistance employs participatory rural appraisal (PRA) by engaging the community in extension and education, training and guidance, field assistance, community involvement, research and Monitoring, and partnership development. The result of the study exemplifies the potential of community-led and participatory approaches in enhancing the economic fabric of a village through the empowerment of housewives. The lessons learned from this project can serve as a valuable guide for future development initiatives, emphasizing the importance of collaboration, active engagement, and tailored strategies to achieve sustained economic growth and community well-being.

Abstract

In this era of globalization, educational institutions have a central role in shaping a person's character and mindset. Religious moderation plays a crucial role in forming a balanced understanding of religious teachings, encouraging attitudes of tolerance, and promoting dialogue between faiths. This article aims to dig deeper into the importance of counseling on religious moderation in efforts to achieve harmonization in educational institutions. The service research method adopts participatory methods to explore the impact of religious moderation counseling in realizing harmonization in educational institutions. Data will be collected through various methods, including participant observation, in-depth interviews with related parties, and document analysis techniques related to education and diversity programs at the institution using a descriptive qualitative approach technique. The results of this service research show that counseling on religious moderation in educational institutions can significantly increase attitudes of tolerance, a balanced understanding of religion, and the ability to dialogue between faiths, forming a strong foundation for realizing harmonization in the educational environment.

Abstract

Sustainable economic development in rural areas is an important aspect in efforts to improve community welfare. Women farmer groups have a strategic role in advancing the agricultural sector and driving the wheels of the local economy. This service activity aims to build local economic excellence through empowering groups of women farmers in Pulosari village, sub-district. The service method uses the ABCD (Asset-Based Community Development) approach in strengthening the economy of women farming groups in Pulosari Village. Activities carried out in this service include assistance with laundry, assistance with Amrin catering, assistance with Azriel for planting seeds and crickets, assistance with the source of blessings cooperative and food processing efforts by members. The results of the service are: Identifying the potential, abilities and assets possessed by the women farmer group in Pulosari Village by focusing on the group of women farmers who are a source of many blessings who have potential, abilities and assets that can improve the local economy. Encouraging collaboration between women farmer groups and government, private and community institutions in the development of economic businesses carried out by the district and central Jakarta food security and agriculture services. Providing increased knowledge and skills of women farmer group members in managing economic businesses through sharing, mentoring and joint efforts in the blessing source women farmer group.

Abstract

Kepuhrubuh Village, located in Ponorogo Regency, faces challenges in developing religious insight and strengthening children's spiritual attitudes. So, a mentoring effort is needed to increase understanding and religious values in order to shape children's spiritually strong character. This service aims to provide religious insight assistance to children in Kepuhrubuh Village with a focus on improving spiritual attitudes. Through this activity, it is hoped that they can increase their understanding of religious values and help shape positive spiritual character. This service method applies the participatory Action Research (PAR) method by involving the local community, especially parents, ustadz/ustadzah, and religious leaders. Accompanying activities include training, group discussions and other interactive activities to strengthen children's religious understanding. The results of this service activity include increasing children's understanding of religious teachings, increasing positive attitudes in daily life, and increasing parental involvement in guiding children's spiritual development. Overall, mentoring with religious insight succeeded in having a positive impact on the spiritual development of children in Kepuhrubuh Village

Abstract

The program "Effective Communication Optimization to Improve Social Skills of Children at Ulil Abshar Dau Sengkaling Malang Orphanage" aims to enhance the communication and social skills of orphaned children. Employing a holistic approach, an initial evaluation is conducted to understand individual needs, followed by training and mentoring. The training focuses on improving both verbal and non-verbal communication skills, while individual mentoring provides specific support to address emotional and social challenges. The program incorporates modern technology to broaden the communication abilities of children in the digital era. In the fifth month, there is an emphasis on understanding and appreciating cultural diversity, creating an inclusive environment. The final evaluation in the sixth month measures the progress of individuals and groups through communication skills tests and final interviews. The results include improved communication skills, positive changes in social interactions, and increased self-confidence and self-esteem among the children. The program has successfully shaped an environment that supports the holistic growth of orphaned children. Through the training and mentoring approach, the program not only strengthens communication skills but also establishes a strong foundation for the social and emotional development of children, delivering measurable positive impacts at both individual and group levels

Abstract

This community service program aims to enhance the literacy competence of the Quran at Al-Izzah Islamic Boarding School in Kota Batu through an innovative approach to strengthen the scholarly foundation of the students. The methods employed involve workshops and training for educators, the development of technologically-based teaching materials, and the implementation of active learning activities. Evaluation encompasses aspects of comprehension, memorization of sacred verses, and Quranic reading skills. The results reflect a significant improvement in all aspects, with a high level of satisfaction from the boarding school authorities. The program successfully establishes an adaptive and responsive learning environment to contemporary developments, ensuring that students not only possess a strong Quranic literacy but can also apply Islamic teachings in a modern context. In conclusion, the innovative approach proves to be an effective solution in reinforcing Quranic literacy and scholarly knowledge among students at Al-Izzah Islamic Boarding School in Kota Batu.
