Abstract

The proliferation of generative Artificial Intelligence (AI) technologies has transformed the digital communication landscape, while simultaneously emerging new variants of online gender-based violence (OGBV). This study aims to analyze how deepfake and voice cloning technologies are utilized as instruments of symbolic terror, blurring the lines between reality and fabrication. Employing a qualitative approach with case study methods and critical discourse analysis, this research examines the phenomenon of AI misuse within the context of Computer-Mediated Communication (CMC). The findings indicate that AI-facilitated violence creates a "hyperreality" of victimization; wherein victims experience tangible psychological and social impacts even though the abusive material is digitally synthesized. From a communication perspective, this phenomenon degrades digital identity integrity and creates a chilling effect that silences women's participation in the public sphere. Indonesian regulations, including the ITE Law and the Sexual Violence Crime Law (UU TPKS), are considered to suffer from a cultural lag in responding to the rapid adoption of this technology.

Abstract

PT Victory International Futures menghadapi tantangan rekrutmen pendaftar baru melalui pemasaran digital statis konvensional di media sosial, mendorong eksplorasi live TikTok untuk penyebaran flyer interaktif. Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis efektivitas flyer digital via live TikTok dibandingkan konten statis dalam meningkatkan pendaftar menggunakan kerangka AIDA. Dengan pendekatan deskriptif kualitatif dan observasi partisipatif, populasi mencakup seluruh audiens TikTok yang terpapar flyer, disampling purposif dari 12 sesi live (300-2000 penonton) dan 20 posting statis (100-800 tayangan) selama dua bulan. Instrumen meliputi lembar observasi, rekaman live, dan analitik platform, dianalisis deskriptif melalui indikator AIDA dengan triangulasi. Hasil menunjukkan live TikTok menghasilkan 15 pendaftar bulanan versus 1 dari statis—peningkatan 15 kali lipat—didukung perhatian unggul (notifikasi), minat (40-100 komentar), keinginan (testimoni), dan tindakan (CTA real-time). Kesimpulannya, live TikTok meningkatkan konversi rekrutmen secara signifikan meski terbatas periode pendek dan kendala teknis, dengan rekomendasi pelatihan host untuk dampak berkelanjutan.

Abstract

This research examines the role of information systems technology in budget planning processes at the Central Sulawesi Provincial Government, specifically analyzing the Regional Government Information System (Sistem Informasi Pemerintahan Daerah/SIPD) implementation since 2021. Using a qualitative descriptive research design with purposive sampling, this study interviewed eight informants from six key agencies (BPKAD, BAPPEDA, BPSDM, BPPID, and DISDUKCAPIL) and conducted direct observations of the budget formulation process. The findings reveal that SIPD significantly enhances budgeting efficiency through automated validation, integrated planning-finance data, and real-time monitoring capabilities. However, implementation effectiveness remains constrained by technical challenges including unstable network infrastructure, incomplete system features, organizational obstacles such as dual-system operations and limited operator capacity, and human resource gaps including competency variations and inadequate continuous training. Despite these constraints, SIPD has positively impacted budget transparency, strengthened accountability through comprehensive audit trails, and improved data quality standards. The study concludes that sustained success requires balanced improvements across three dimensions technology infrastructure enhancement, organizational governance strengthening, and systematic human capacity development to fully realize the system's potential for evidence-based budgeting and public financial management in regional government contexts.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of risk management on operational performance at the Paotere People's Port, Makassar. The research approach used is quantitative with an explanatory method to explain the causal relationship between variables. Data were collected through questionnaires distributed to 45 operational employees selected using a saturated sampling technique. The research instrument was tested for validity and reliability using SPSS 23, and all statement items were declared feasible. Data analysis was conducted through simple linear regression to test the influence of risk management variables on operational performance. The results showed that risk management has a positive and significant effect on operational performance. This finding indicates that improving the quality of risk management can encourage the effectiveness and efficiency of port operational activities. This study emphasizes the importance of implementing systematic risk management to support the stability and performance of people's port services.

Abstract

The development of information technology encourages ports to improve operational effectiveness and service quality through the implementation of information system management. However, Parepare Port still faces obstacles in data integration, limited human resource competency, and some service processes that are still carried out manually. This study aims to analyze the influence of information system management on operational performance and port services. The research method used a quantitative approach with an associative design, involving all 54 permanent employees through a saturated sampling technique. Data were collected through questionnaires and analyzed using simple linear regression after undergoing validity, reliability, and classical assumption tests. The results showed that information system management had a positive and significant effect on operational performance with a regression coefficient of 0.779 (p = 0.000), and a positive and significant effect on port services with a regression coefficient of 0.841 (p = 0.000). These findings indicate that improving information system management can accelerate work processes, improve data accuracy, strengthen inter-unit coordination, and improve service quality to service users. In conclusion, information system management plays an important role in supporting operational efficiency and improving service quality at Parepare Port. Optimizing information systems, improving human resource competencies, and strengthening digital infrastructure are key to driving sustainable port service performance and quality.

Abstract

Tujuan - Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh Online Customer Review dan persepsi harga terhadap keputusan pembelian produk Wardah di TikTok Shop Kota Makassar, baik secara langsung maupun tidak langsung melalui Brand Image sebagai variabel mediasi. Secara khusus, penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji pengaruh Online Customer Review dan persepsi harga terhadap Brand Image, pengaruh langsung kedua variabel tersebut terhadap keputusan pembelian, serta peran Brand Image dalam memediasi hubungan antara Online Customer Review dan persepsi harga dengan keputusan pembelian. Metode - Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode kuantitatif dengan pendekatan explanatory research. Data dikumpulkan melalui penyebaran kuesioner kepada konsumen yang pernah membeli produk wardah di TikTok Shop Kota Makassar. Teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan metode purposive sampling. Analisis data dilakukan dengan pendekatan Partial Least Squares–Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) menggunakan perangkat lunak SmartPLS untuk menguji validitas, reliabilitas, serta hubungan antar variabel dalam model penelitian. Hasil - Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Online Customer Review dan persepsi harga berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap Brand Image. Selain itu, Online Customer Review, persepsi harga, dan Brand Image juga berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap keputusan pembelian. Hasil lainnya menunjukkan bahwa Brand Image berperan sebagai variabel mediasi yang memperkuat pengaruh Online Customer Review dan persepsi harga terhadap keputusan pembelian.

Abstract

The Studi aims to determine the effect of Liquidity Ratio, Activity Ratio, Leverage Ratio To Profitability Ratio and Its Impact In Predicting The Condition Of Financial Distress On Retail Company Listed In Indonesia Stock Exchange. The Financial Distress was measured throught Altman Z’Score, Liquidity Ratio was measured throught Current Ratio (CR), Activity Ratio was measured throught Total Assets Turnover (TATO), Leverage Ratio was measured throught Debt to Equity Ratio (DER) and Profitability ratio was measured throught Net Profit Margin (NPM). The Research was a quantitative study using the financial report of the companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (BEI). The Sampling tehnique in this study was purpose sampling. The samples used in this study 5 companies, which were listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (BEI) in period 2014-2023, in order to obtain the data of 50 companies from the financial Statement are made data panel. The analytical method is descriptive analysis.The data were analyzed through multipel linear regression analysis and processed with software Eviews 13.0. The result showed (1) current ratio with prob. 0.1612 not had and no significant effect on the net profit margin , (2) total assets turnover with prob 0.1490 not had and no significant effect on the net profit margin, (3) debt to equity ratio with prob. 0.1369 not had and no significant effect on the net profit margin (4) current ratio, total assets turnover and debt to equity ratio simultaneously with prob. 0.032619 a had positive significant affected the net profit margin, (5) net profit margin with prob. 0.0216 had a positive significant on the prediction of financial distress.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the financial performance and profitability determinants of PT Medikaloka Hermina Tbk during the period 2020–2025 amid the aggressive expansion of Indonesia’s healthcare sector, which is relatively resilient to global economic fluctuations. The research employs a quantitative descriptive method using financial ratio analysis and panel data regression with a Random Effect Model, examining the effects of Current Ratio (CR), Total Assets Turnover (TATO), and Debt to Equity Ratio (DER) on Net Profit Margin (NPM). The descriptive results indicate relatively sound liquidity conditions, varying levels of asset utilization efficiency, and a leverage-oriented capital structure. Partial test results (t-test) reveal that CR, TATO, and DER do not individually have a significant effect on NPM; however, the simultaneous test (F-test) shows that these variables jointly have a significant influence on profitability. These findings suggest that corporate profitability is not driven by individual financial ratios alone, but rather by the combined interaction of liquidity, asset efficiency, and solvency, along with strategic factors such as hospital network expansion and the involvement of institutional investors. The results provide important insights for management and investors in assessing financial sustainability and long-term value creation in the healthcare industry.

Abstract

This discussion describes the concepts of trust and accountability in the Qur'an and its relevance to the management of human resources (HR) of Islamic education. Trust is understood as a moral and professional responsibility that is carried out with integrity, while accountability emphasizes the obligation to account for every action and decision. The integration of these values becomes the ethical and operational foundation in the management of Islamic education human resources that are oriented towards quality, professionalism, and character. The Ulumul Qur'an approach is used to understand Quranic values contextually so that they can be actualized in the practice of institutional management of Islamic education. The results show that the internalization of trust and accountability plays an important role in building a responsible work culture, improving the quality of human resources, and supporting the achievement of Islamic education goals in a holistic and sustainable manner

Abstract

Islamic education management has a strategic role in the development of science by placing management as an epistemological paradigm. Management shapes the direction, method, and orientation of scientific development through policies, institutional structures, and managed academic culture. Literature reviews are conducted on books, scientific journals, academic articles, as well as policies and guidelines for the management of relevant Islamic educational institutions. The results of the study show that the management of Islamic education does not only function administratively, but also builds a managed scientific rationality, supports the production of knowledge in a systematic, directed, and responsible manner, and maintains academic integrity. Management also allows the integration of modern science and Islamic scientific traditions dialogically, so that the development of knowledge is reflective, critical, and adaptive. Thus, the management of Islamic education contributes to the birth of an integrative, value-oriented, rational, and transcendental scientific paradigm, and supports the creation of the development of science that is meaningful, sustainable, and plays a role in the advancement of scientific civilization.
