Abstract

Results of the 2007 Indonesian Population Data Survey (IDHS) the number of cases of early marriage in Indonesia reached 50 million people with an average age of marriage 19.1 years. Data from the Office of the Ministry of Religion of South Kalimantan Province shows that the highest cases of early marriage occurred in Banjar Regency, with 7,346 cases of early marriage. In the West Martapura Region, there was an increase in young marriages from 2015 (24.6%) to 2016 (35.8%). This study aims to determine the relationship between knowledge and attitudes of mothers with the incidence of young marriage in the West Martapura Region in 2017. The research method used is an analytical survey with a cross sectional approach. The total population is 65 mothers and the total sample is 56 mothers who married young in 2016. The sampling technique used is simple random sampling. The research instrument used daily marriage registers and questionnaires directly to mothers who were recorded as having married at a young age in the West Martapura Region in 2016. Data analysis was carried out using the Chi-Square test with a 95% confidence level. Statistical test results using Chi Square obtained ρ= 0.026 <α=0.05 meaning that there is a relationship between mother's knowledge and young marriage and for the relationship between mother's attitude and young marriage the result is ρ= 0.014 <α=0.05 meaning that there is a relationship between attitude mother with young marriage. The conclusion of this study is that there is a relationship between knowledge and attitudes of mothers with the incidence of young marriage.

Abstract

Stunting is a chronic condition that describes stunted growth due to malnutrition over a long period of time. As many as 1.3 million Indonesian children are stunted and Indonesia is the third country with the highest prevalence of stunting in the Southeast Asia/South-East Asia Regional (SEAR) region. The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between LBW and exclusive breastfeeding with the incidence of stunting in toddlers. The research method used the Literature Study method taken from 7 journals consisting of 4 national journals and 3 international journals. Data analysis in this study is descriptive analysis. The results of the study based on the literature review of 7 journals, the lowest percentage of LBW incidence was found to be 7.8% and the highest percentage was 34.1%. Exclusive breastfeeding was found to have the lowest percentage of 26.7% and the highest percentage of 85%. The lowest percentage of stunting incidence was found to be 17%, and the highest percentage was 50%. 7 research journals that used all stated that there was an association between LBW and the incidence of stunting in toddlers. 4 research journals that use all state that there is a relationship between exclusive breastfeeding and the incidence of stunting in toddlers.

Abstract

In the Maternal and Child Health Book (KIA) there is information about pregnancy, the postpartum period, newborns and danger signs, instructions on maternal and infant nutrition, as well as a card to health. Pregnant mothers in the Martapura 2 work area who are less active in accessing information about maternal and child health books (KIA) will have an impact on the mother's insight being less and the impact being that she will not understand the importance of maternal and child health books (KIA). The research used was quantitative with a descriptive analytical cross sectional approach. The population in this study were mothers who attended classes for pregnant women in the working area of Martapura 2 Community Health Center, using the Accidental Sampling technique. Data collection uses a questionnaire. Data were analyzed using the chi square test. The results of the chi-square statistical test between the knowledge variable and the use of maternal and child health books (KIA) showed a p-value of 0.007< α. Conclusion: There is a relationship between maternal knowledge and the use of maternal and child health (KIA) books for pregnant women.Keywords: Knowledge, use of maternal and child health (KIA) books, pregnant women

Abstract

Chronic Energy Deficiency (CED) in pregnant women is a condition where the mother lacks protein and energy during pregnancy which can result in health problems for the mother and fetus. This study aims to determine the factors associated with the incidence of CED in pregnant women in the Martapura Community Health Center Work Area 1. This study uses type Quantitative research with design analytical correlation cross sectional. A sample of 90 pregnant women used purposive sampling. The independent variables are income, knowledge, age of pregnant women, parity and distance between pregnancies, while the dependent variable is KEK pregnant women. Data collection was carried out by looking at the latest MCH examination book and measuring the mother's LILA, after that distributing questionnaires. This type of research data is ordinal, analyzed through computerization. The results of the study showed that there was a relationship in all variables with the incidence of CED. There were 90 samples, 36 respondents (40.0%) who experienced CED and 54 respondents (60.0%) who did not experience CED. There is a relationship between income P value = 0.014, knowledge P value = 0.032, and parity P value = 0.034 with KEK. The conclusion is that there is a relationship between income, knowledge, and parity the incidence of CED in pregnant women in the Martapura Community Health Center Work Area 1Keywords: Factors, CED

Abstract

Exclusive breastfeeding is giving breast milk to babies, without any other liquids or solids being given, even water, except for drops/syrup solutions of vitamins, minerals or medicines, exclusive breastfeeding is recommended until the child is 6 months old. To determine the factors associated with exclusive breastfeeding for babies aged 6-12 months in the Martapura I Community Health Center Work Area in 2024. Quantitative research type with a cross sectional design. A sample of 79 mothers who had babies aged 6-12 months used purposive sampling according to the researchers' criteria. The Independent Variables are Knowledge, Employment, Husband's Support, and Local Cultural Customs, while the Dependent Variable on Breastfeeding is data collection carried out by distributing questionnaires and conducting interviews with mothers who have babies aged 6-12 which contains information about the identity and knowledge of the respondents. The type of data in this research is nominal, which is analyzed through computerization. The results of the study showed that there was a relationship in all variables with exclusive breastfeeding. There were 79 samples, there were 20 (25.3%) respondents who succeeded in giving exclusive breast milk to their babies and 59 (74.7%) respondents who did not succeeded in giving exclusive breast milk to their babies. There is a relationship between Knowledge P value = 0.006, Occupation and P value = 0.001 with exclusive breastfeeding.Keywords: Exclusive breastfeeding, knowledge, work

Abstract

The results of Basic Health Research in 2018 stated that the prevalence of mental disorders such as depression and anxiety disorders in postpartum mothers was 19.8% of the ± 14 million Indonesian population and in 2022 the incidence of postpartum blues in Asia was quite high, between 26-85%, while In Indonesia, the incidence of postpartum blues is in the range of 50-70%. Unresolved anxiety in postpartum mothers can cause postpartum blues and other health problems. This level of anxiety can be overcome, one of the ways, is through non-pharmacological therapy or natural methods, namely by complementary therapy using aromatherapy.This study aims to determine the effect of giving lemon aromatherapy on anxiety in postpartum mothers as an effort to anticipate postpartum blues at Dr. Doris Sylvanus Hospital, Palangka Raya.This research used a pre-experimental design method on 53 postpartum mother respondents as research samples, who were taken using a purposive sampling technique at RSUD dr. Doris Sylvanus Palangka Raya. Data collection used a questionnaire, data analysis used the T-test.The results of this research show p-value = 0.000 (p < 0.05), which means that there is an influence of lemon aromatherapy on the level of anxiety in postpartum mothers in anticipating postpartum blues at Dr. Doris Sylvanus Hospital, Palangka Raya.Keywords: Lemon aromatherapy, anxiety level, postpartum mothers

Abstract

Introduction: Pregnancy is a natural process in a woman's life which is characterized by physical and psychological changes. These changes make pregnant women experience anxiety, especially primigravida pregnant women in the third trimester. According to data from the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Indonesia 2018 and the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Indonesia 2020, there has been an increase in the anxiety of pregnant women by 20% for 2 years. Anxiety reduction can be done with murottal al-qur'an therapy. Purpose: The aim of this study to determine the effect of murottal Al-Qur'an therapy on anxiety in third trimester pregnant women. Methods: This research uses quantitative research with a quasi-experiment using the nonequivalent control group research design. The population in this study was 22 respondents taken using total sampling technique. The independent variable in this study was murottal Al-Qur'an therapy. The dependent variable in this research is anxiety, data collection used the HRS-A questionnaire. Data analysis used the independent t testResults: The results of the study showed that there was an effect of providing murottal Al-Qur'an therapy and relaxation therapy on anxiety in third trimester pregnant women (murottal therapy = 0.018, relaxation therapy= 0.001). Conclusion: The resulting effect is a decrease in the anxiety level of pregnant women after being given murottal Al-Qur'an therapy and relaxation therapy. Abstract

Introduction: Cempaka Subdistrict was the subdistrict that had the highest dropout rate, with 661 people (18.9%) who accepted family planning. According to a previous study conducted by researchers at PMB "RB," secondary data revealed that the target for monthly injectable family planning visits at PMB "RB" from October 2023 to January 2024 was only achieved 80% of the time. Direct interviews with midwives indicated that 40- 45% of the acceptors followed through. Injectable contraceptives experienced inaccuracies in revisit times. Purpose: effectiveness in using the Mommy Warning Application for repeat visits among 1-month injection acceptors at PMB "RB" in 2024. Method: This research used a pre-experimental method with a one-group pre- post test design. The sample included all acceptors selected through total sampling. The independent variable was the Mommy Warning re-visit reminder application, and the dependent variable was the revisit for 1-month injections. Data collection involved filling out a Google form to gather identity information, history of return visits, and observations through the register book. Data were analyzed using the Wilcoxon test with a p-value of 0.02. Results: The results showed effectiveness in using the Mommy Warning Application for repeat visits among 1-month injection acceptors at PMB "RB" in 2024. Conclusion: Therefore, it is highly recommended for all acceptors to utilize the Mommy Warning Application to reduce revisit inaccuracies for 1-month injections.Keywords: Application Effectiveness, Visit Timeliness, 1-Month Injectable Contraceptives

Abstract

Anemia among pregnant women in Indonesia is still high, reaching 48.9%, which can cause serious pregnancy complications. To analyze the difference in effectiveness between the use of e-booklets and pocketbooks in improving pregnant women's knowledge about anemia prevention in the working area of Puskesmas Martapura 2.This study used a quantitative method with a quasy-experiment design, involving two experimental groups: the e-booklet group and the pocket book group. The study population was pregnant women in the working area of Puskesmas Martapura 2, with purposive sampling technique. Data were collected through questionnaires distributed using Google Form to assess pregnant women's knowledge about anemia prevention before and after the intervention. Data were analyzed using the Mann-Whitney test to compare the effectiveness of the two educational media. The results showed that both methods were considered equally effective in increasing pregnant women's knowledge about anemia prevention (E-Booklet p=0.097 and Pocket Book p=0.155). There was no difference between the use of e-booklets and pocketbooks. Both methods are equally effective in improving pregnant women's knowledge about anemia prevention. Abstract

The main obstacle to giving Fe tablets comes from presdiposing factors, namely poor compliance such as forgetting, due to side effects that arise, negative perceptions about giving iron supplements. The study aims to determine the effectiveness of using the “aplikasi sahabat remaja Indonesia (ASRI)” And Whatsapp Reminder on compliance with beautiful pill consumption in teenage girl at smkn 3 banjarbaru. This research uses a quasi-experiment with a Nonequevalent Control Group Design approach. The population in this study was 272 female student at SMKN 3 Banjarbaru. The sample in this study was 74 resondents. The sampling technique is Cluster Random Sampling. The independent variables are the ASRI and Whatsapp Reminder, the dependent variable is compliance with the consumption of Fe tablet. Data were analyzed using the Wilcoxon Signed Rank Test and the Mann Whitney test with a significance of 0,05. The research results obtained compliance with p value = 0,000 (mean rank 45,0) in the ASRI group and p value = 0,008 (mean rank 30,0) in the Whatsapp Reminder group. Mann whitney test results p value 0,001, p<0,05. The conclusion of the study is a difference in effectiveness between ASRI and Whatsapp Reminder on compliance with Fe talet consumption teenage girl at SMKN 3 Banjarbaru. Expected that ASRI and Whatsapp Reminder can become a medium for monitoring the consumption of Fe tablets in teenage girl. Keyword: Fe tablets, obedience, iron substace.
